Okay I hate to say this but this will be more of a filler chapter but will set some things up for later on enjoy. warning not Beta'd

Chapter 9

Waking up after yesterday was tough on Orion, he did have any injuries but all of his muscles were a little sore. ~Great something else to work on. ~ Heaving himself out of bed Orion limped to the bathroom for a hot shower to relaxed his muscles and warm them up for the day. After the shower and some food Orion went to see if he had everything he needed for school. After looking Orion realized that Aed and he never went past getting potion items because of the fight.

~Great so I need to go back to get my books and he didn't tell me where to go. ~

Knowing that he had to go back to Skykilia to get his books Orion thought it would be best to be a bit better prepared this time, just in case. So on went his some of his heavier battle gear that Godric and Salazar gave to him or had made for him. On first went a no sleeved shirt made of soft leather from some beast, Godric wouldn't tell him what kind, over that Orion layered up with a three-quarter sleeved shirt made of a plant that repelled magic and then his battle jacket. Next he put on a harness for his knifes under his pants and on his belt he put a couple of healing and battle potions he had made himself. And the last thing other than making sure he had his focus' he did to get ready was a charm bracelet with five different kinds of swords each a different color, two spears that looked nothing alike, a mace, and an war hammer on it. With the bracelet he could have just about any weapon he could need in a large fight against quite a few different species and just taking a charm off of the bracelet let it regrow to its original size and weight. Godric and Salazar had made sure he could do the basics of most weapons that he could get his hands on with a good bit of hand to hand as well.

Now ready for just about anything Orion made sure to grab his list of what he needed. Gathering his magic to return to Skykilia Orion was shocked when a little body landed on his shoulder just as he was leaving.

"Raginhard!" already at Skykilia there was nothing that Orion could do to take the fox back, "You know Hedwig most likely going nuts right now and when she gets a hold of you it's not going to be pretty right." Orion deadpanned to the little fox, who only looked more pleased with himself if that was possible. Sighing at his familiar's actions Orion made sure Raginhard was situated on his shoulder and wouldn't fall off if Orion had to move quickly or sharply.

Moving farther into the town Orion passed where he and Aed had gotten potion supplies, Orion carefully looked to make sure there wasn't a mob down the street like yesterday. Going past that street Orion started looking for any sign of a bookstore; finally finding a store a little ways past where he had seen the mob.

Walking in to the store Orion took a look around trying to find where the books he needed might be.

"Can I help you, sir?" a voice came from behind him startling Orion, thankful he didn't jump, although Raginhard did, Orion turned to the voice. Hanging in the air was a small fairy.

"Yes I'm looking for some books, 'Dark Spell' by Van Onyx, 'Transformation guide part one and part two' by 'Abla.

"We have all those books if you will follow me sir." the fairy told him and slowly, for a fairy, flew to the bookshelves. The fairy then came to a stop in front of the Transformation books he needed, they then moved down to another shelf that held the 'Dark Spell' book Orion needed and the two books he needed for COMC were right next to it. Thanking the fairy Orion paid for his books and before leaving Orion asked where he could find a Bloodmagic Store.

"Down four blocks take a right, go another three blocks and it will be on the left and it's called Amua. Best of luck." She answered.

Leaving the bookstore Raginhard yipped in his ear causing Orion to look at his familiar and then past him to where little fox was staring.

Standing in the shadows looking at Orion was an Elf. It was hard to get a good look, but he looked like one of the Elves from yesterday when they rounded up the Were and his lackeys. After making and breaking eye contact with Orion the Elf disappantion. Unsure as to why the Elf would have left if he was part of the round up yesterday Orion decided to quickly finished his business and get back home.

Starting down the road Orion kept a sharp eye out for the Elf from before, Orion found Amua after about a half-hour walk. The directions the fairy gave him were very good.

Walking into the shop was interesting, the owner was an older Naga, snake lower body with a human upper body, who didn't like humans much, so Orion had a little trouble dealing with him. It took a little doing, Raginhard did not care for the old Naga at all, but Orion got the supplies he needed for Bloodmagic class and finally got to leave.

Leaving the store with the couple of extra items that Bloodmagic needed Orion headed back down the road. Figuring that the Elf was staring just because he was human, but Orion was still keeping an eye out for that Elf or anyone else from yesterday. He was about halfway back to the apparition point when someone grabbed him by the back of his shirt lifting him up and catching Raginhard before the little fox could attack. Being yanked out of the road by someone he didn't know sucked.

"Hello again Orion." A very familiar voice said. Standing nearby was Qamra the little girl's Mother.

"Hello Mrs. Qamra, How are you today?" Orion figured being polite was best till he could get the man to let go of him. She only smiled at the question.

"I am well thank you for asking and yourself? I know you had some injuries."

"The few that I had are all healed Ma'am."

"Wonderful, but it never hurts to be sure, you understand." Qamra looked to the person still holding Orion by his shirt along with Raginhard in his other hand held up by the scruff of his neck. Turning his head to see who was holding him and his familiar Orion wasn't to surprise to see the Elf from before in the street and he was also the one to bring Qamra the poisoned knife before. He stood at over 7 feet tall and was holding up Orion with no trouble, his white hair was in a braid with green eyes watching Orion carefully.

"This is my friend Alexis." The Elf Alexis nodded his head to Orion. Blinking at the introduction to the Elf holding him Orion wasn't quite sure what to do.

"Um, nice to meet you sir." and then got a small shock when Alexis started laughing.

"It's nice of you to say so youngster, but I'm sure you like to smack me if you could." Alexis told him in an amused tone, "If you are done my Queen it time to go."

"Queen!" the word was out of Orion's mouth before he could sensor himself. With wide eyes Orion stared at Qamra, now known to be Queen Qamra, Orion could only marvel at his luck.

"Yes Orion, I am the Elf Queen due to my mate just as well I love him so. Anyways it's time to go hope you got everything that you needed. It might be sometime before you come back."

Blinking and trying to catch up on what was going on, when all he could hear was Queen Qamra telling him she was a queen.

"Wait what do you mean it's time to go?" Orion decided to focus on that piece of information.

"I am taking you with me to my home. Asta is upset that you don't have any family of your own."

"Sorry, but I can't go with you Ma'am." Orion told her.

"Then I'm sorry too Orion, but you will be coming with me, at least for a little bit." Here she looked at Alexis and told him something in a different langue.

Orion was panicking a little bit and not wanting to hurt ether of the Elves made it harder to come up with a plan. Raginhard started squirming drawing most of Alexis' attention giving Orion his opening.

Drawing upon his mostly unused elemental magic, hopefully this would work, and reached back to shocked Alexis arm. Alexis' hand spasmed and opened enough for Orion to slip through reaching over to grab his other arm, shocking it and catch Raginhard as he fell. Qamra reached for Orion who duck up her hands. Seeing that Alexis was finished shaking his hands out and was moving towards him Orion pulled Raginhard close and apparated to the Human Realm and then a couple of different places to through off any pursuit with a stop to check if he or Raginhard had any traces and then after a couple more stops when home.

Tired from using magic he wasn't used to Orion went to bed after checking on Raginhard again this time for any injuries, he was fine. Orion went to bed after that, school would be starting soon and he needed to finish a couple of things before it started.
