It was a rather warm day, but it wasn´t summer. The sun shone brightly on the sky, but once again, it wasn´t summer. The snow slowly fell down from the sky, ignoring the fact someone people wished it was summer. Because in the end, the day wasn´t warm, the sun wasn´t shining bright, and the snow kept falling slowly and slowly covering the red face of a certain young teenager.

"Say what?" The poor girl repeated again, her face threatening to explode from both embarrassment and anger. One would think it was impossible, and yet she was the proof of it. "You said what?" She repeated for the thousand time, staring at her new-old boyfriend, honestly who knows how long they have been really going out, confused.

The boyfriend, also a teen with a raven hair so messy it looked as if he had only woken up; chuckled at her reaction, smiling even more as she stared at him irritated. "You heard me." The teen said, smiling more and more with every second. "Let´s go on vacation together, Shin-chan! It will be fun, I promise!"

The girl frowned, narrowed her blue eyes… and hit him with a rather dangerous looking soccer ball. At least it looked dangerous… if you judged by the crater it left behind in the wall right next to the teen. "I already said I can´t, Kaito." The girl stated annoyed, trying to get over the words he had said before but hadn't repeated. "I have too much school work to catch up, and I only have a few months left."

The teen named Kaito sighed as if in defeat, the smile slowly dying on his lips… before a though, a memory, a crazy idea took over his mind. "Shinichi." It didn´t go unnoticed to the girl he had called her by her full name. He usually just used that stupid nickname her mother has given her… or one of his own. "You know I love you, don´t you?"

A fierce blush almost knocked the girl out, who just glared at him without understating where that was coming from. Saying that he lo-lo… liked her would not give him any advantage in the matter. "We have been going out for one year… with you in your small body I never did a thing but… Can I kiss you?"

And this is why the day seemed so warm, so hot, so bright to her… not because it really was, but because those words made her burn from the inside out. Her face red as a tomato, no, even redder than that; heart beating fast, hands becoming sweaty…

"The hell Kaito?!" She yelled, hating the fact he managed to make her blush that easily. She was a detective, an actress´ daughter… her poker face was almost flawless, so why couldn´t she keep that stupid and annoying blush hidden somewhere? Why?

"Well, if we can´t spent the holiday´s together, and since I need to go to Paris because of my next heist, and no, I cannot cancel it; I want a kiss." Kaito´s face was so serious, so genuine it only made her blush, and curse, even more. "I love you; I want you to meet my mom… But since you can´t, and I have to respect your choice, for now that is; I want a kiss."

Blinking fast, blushing even more, Shinichi couldn´t answer his for a while. Damn, why had the day to be so damn hot? Damn, damn, damn… now she was cursing even more. Damn! "Shinichi, can I kiss you?"

Looking up at those violet eyes she loved so much, the girl got lost in them. Well, they had been dating for a year… thou the official record was only one month. And she did like him a lot and had had some dreams and day dreams and thought and mumbles and wished about kissing him… So maybe, she wasn´t that much against the idea.

Taking a deep breathe, she said. "Kaito, I like you a lot too and… but…" Watching silently as his face grew a little bit darker, his eyes moving away from her face, she made a decision. Screw her insecure and weak side…

Taking a few steps towards him, she caught his hands, doing something she would never do if she thought twice about it. Destroying the distance between their lips, Shinichi kissed her first and hopefully only boyfriend with all her might.

The violet eyes opened in sock, before he relaxed and pulled his lovely girlfriend into a tight kiss, his arms warping around her gently and lovingly. A hand found itself to her hair, pulling her closer, making sure she would never run away from him.

The moment they parted… was the moment they knew they could no longer survive without air. Breathing heavily, trying to catch up with their hearts´ accelerated beating, Shinichi refused to look him into the eyes… thou she knew he was smiling, or more like grinning, victoriously at the moment.

"You know…" She mumbled as they slowly walked to her home, hand in hand, trying to not look at each other too much. "Maybe vacation is not that bad…"

Grinning even more, Kaito sung happily in his head. So his desperate plan did work… no matter how desperately he had felt. Kissing her on the cheek, Kaito faintly whispered. "I know you will love it… Just as I love you."
