Hello everyone! I'm terribly sorry for the really late updates but I've gotten depressed again and lost motivation to do a lot of things. I'm writing a couple of paragraphs a day to encourage myself and try to bring back my will to write. I know you all are tired (if you have stuck with the story) of the late updates and I'm really sorry for that. Trust me I'm disappointed about my lack of writing too. Anyway on with the story!

It had been a week since they defeated Clather and left Glavinstan. After they left Glavinstan, Meredy excitedly asked all of the Star Dress's that Lucy could and she replied with all of them but can only hold them for an hour. Meredy wanted to see them all but Jellal scolded her that it would waste Lucy's magic and if they were caught be anyone, Lucy wouldn't have any magic to defend herself. After all Lucy did have ten gold keys and summoning all their Star Dress's would be too much so Meredy left it go. The three of them were quietly walking in the forest and Lucy was enjoying the nature.

Lucy was the first one to speak, "Is there a chance that a lake is nearby? I want to get a good rinse."

Meredy looked at Jellal excitedly, "Cleaning up in a lake would be awesome! Do you know if there's one close to us Jellal?"

"No I don't but we can keep a look out for it." Jellal replied looking at a map trying to gauge where they were.

"You know I can just get Crux to tell us where we are." Lucy offered as Jellal started to get frustrated at the map.

Jellal sighed in relief, "Yeah that would be splendid."

Lucy summoned Crux and her two comrades stepped back getting ready for the screaming that was going to come. When he did finish his research, ending up still scaring the other two in the process, he told them they were in Sojiro forest. When Lucy asked if there was a lake nearby Crux confirmed there was and it was to the right in about two miles. Lucy and Meredy were very pleased about this information and Lucy hugged her spirit goodbye. The three of them found the lake and the two girls shooed away the only male. Lucy called Virgo to get them bathing supplies that wouldn't soil the lake and they stripped of their clothes.

Meredy jumped in first, "Come on Lulu! This is going to be awesome!"

Lucy chuckled and brought in the stuff Virgo got them, "I'm coming!"

Lucy shivered a bit at the temperature of the water but she got in regardless, "So what do you want to talk about?"

"How about you and Jellal?" Meredy wiggled her eyebrows at her friend.

Lucy blushed recognizing what she was being asked when Lisanna would do the same thing, "T-There's nothing going on so I have no clue what you're talking about."

"Oh come on it's obvious there's something there." Meredy said scoffing.

"Well I know Erza liked him and I'm not going to step that boundary." Lucy's face fell at her own words.

"You're thinking about her? Lucy she betrayed you and hurt you! Why don't you care for yourself and try with Jellal? I know you have feelings for him." Meredy softly said.

"I had feelings for someone else and that ended up terrible and before then I could never get a boyfriend. Even if I did have strong feelings for Jellal, I would rather not risk it." Lucy replied looking away.

Meredy looked at the water, "Natsu right?"

"Yeah." Lucy replied slowly, "I don't have feelings for Jel-."

"Bullshit! You do too and you know it! You know it's there! Don't pretend you don't feel something just because your worried about someone else who hurt you and your friends!" Meredy protested.

"Maybe I do! But you can't lie that Jellal had feelings for Erza." Lucy said.

"Yes he did but he choose you and to be by your side. Erza and most of everyone at Fairy Tail changed for the worst and I'm pretty sure those feelings are gone for Erza after what she's done." Meredy said crossing her arms over her chest.

"There might be a small part of Jellal that's yearning for the old Erza just like I am." Lucy had a tear run down her cheek and she finished up washing and got out of the lake.

"Wait Lucy!" Meredy scrambled to finish up but the blond girl was dressed and already gone, "Damn it, way to go Meredy."

Meredy finished and rushed to find Lucy only to find her already with Jellal. She had a fake smile plastered on while she was talking to the blue haired male and Meredy frowned. Jellal heard Meredy and looked up at her his eyes telling her they needed to talk. Night fall came and after they finished preparing the tents and after having dinner, Lucy went to sleep.

Jellal was quick to turn to Meredy when they were sure she was asleep, "What happened? I tried asking what was wrong but she just avoided the topic."

"I pushed her about something that had to do with Fairy Tail and she got upset." Meredy sighed.

Jellal looked crestfallen, "Oh."

"She still thinks about them and wants them to come back…. Jellal she's still in so much pain and she's closing herself up to something that I know she wants." Meredy put her face in her hands.

"We can be there for her and listen to when she wants to talk. Right now there's nothing we can do. She's still going to hurt because that was her family." Jellal said.

"I just want that look in her eyes to go away."

They went silent afterwards and Jellal went to his tent while Meredy went to hers and Lucy's. Meredy laid in her sleeping bag and looked at the sleeping Celestial Mage beside her. Lucy was like her long lost sister and she knew how Jellal felt. Lucy was bright, forgiving, stayed strong for others when they needed her even if she was suffering, she had a large heart, and was just amazing all around. Seeing someone like that being treated wrong and suffocating herself in her feelings was horridness. Lucy was one of the first to accept them and comfort them when Ultear disappeared. Meredy just wished she could do the same but Lucy wasn't opening up about her pain. Jellal was right they couldn't force her because that wasn't right. They just had to wait until she talked to them and no matter how long that took, they were going to be there for her. With those thoughts swimming in her head, Meredy fell asleep.

Meredy woke up to Lucy screaming and Jellal trampled into the tent. To say he was furious was an understatement. Loke, in all his glory, was kneeling besides the blonde's side and holding her hand while she was sitting up in her sleeping bag. Loke was also way too close to her face for Jellal's liking. Jellal was quick to shove Loke away from her and pull Lucy into his arms glaring at the orange haired man.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Meredy screeched.

"Why I just wanted to see my princess," Jellal growled at his words and he held a blushing Lucy closer to him, "Because she hasn't called me in a while."

"Well screw off! Lucy doesn't want to see your hideous face!" Jellal replied.

"Excuse me, I am very beautiful and I can see my princess when I want to. I am her lion after all." Loke calmly said and he sure was getting a kick out of this by the look in his eyes.

"Lucy what did he do to you?" Jellal looked down at her face.

"H-He woke me up and proclaimed his love for me. When I sat up rubbing my eyes, he took my hand and pulled me close asking for a kiss. The shock settled in waking me up and I screamed."

A dark aura settled over Jellal that had everyone in the tent gulping, "You better get out of our site before I destroy you."

Loke was sweating, "Bye Princess I will see you soon!" He quickly said and disappeared back to the Spirit Realm in a cloud of starts.

"You're not calling him for a long while." Jellal said as his aura settled down.

"U-um Jellal? You're squishing me to your cheat really hard." A blushing Lucy stuttered.

Jellal's face flared a dark red and he let her go, rushing out the tent. The girls heard a thud seconds later and both rushed outside to see Jellal passed out with steam coming off his face.

"J-Jellal!" Lucy exclaimed and she rushed to shake him but it didn't work.

"Let's just take him to his tent." Meredy said realizing he was out cold.

The two girls dragged him in his tent and on top of his sleeping bag. Both girls winced when Jellal's head bounced off the ground but his head was cushioned by his sleeping bag so it wasn't bad. The girls walked out the tent and Meredy burst out laughing and in tears.

"Meredy! Nothing about this is funny! Jellal passed out from who knows what! It looked like he had a terrible fever!" Lucy scolded.

"Lulu he didn't pass out from a fever, he passed out from embarrassment! He was so embarrassed of his actions that he passed out! That's hilarious!" Meredy howled with laughter.

"Why did he react that way though?" Lucy questioned.

"That's because he was jeal-" Meredy sighed, "Never mid you will figure out yourself one day."

"What does that mean?"

"You'll find out one day young one."

"TECHINALLY I'M OLDER THAN YOU!" Lucy screamed.

"Yeah but you aren't so hah!" Meredy stuck her tongue out at Lucy.

Jellal walked out the tent a light blush on his cheeks, "What are you two talking about?"

"Meredy called me 'young one' though technically I'm older then her and she won't tell me what's wrong with you." Lucy explained.

Jellal's blush grew, "Nothing's wrong with me Lucy. Don't worry about it. I'm alright."

"If you say so." Lucy said a worried look in her face.

We could say the same about you. Meredy thought as she watched Lucy check up on Jellal.
