Agrabah Pt 2
After the encounter with Jafar and the heartless the group were now searching for Jasmine again who had run away to safety when Jafar had showed up. Sora looked at Daisuke over his shoulder with concern because ever since he had ran into her after she left and chased Jafar she had been acting differently.
"Dai what's happened to you? More to the point what did Jafar do to you?" Sora thought to himself.
"Sora what's wrong?" Daisuke asked him making him snap out of his thoughts as he looked at Daisuke.
"Oh nothing Dai, just thinking about stuff." Sora said as he smiled at Daisuke as she nodded her head slowly but frowned slightly.
"He's worried about something, but what?" She asked herself mentally.
"Princess Jasmine where are you?" Veemon called looking around.
"Jasmine?" Sora called as well as the other three started calling out to her as well. They continued to call out for the Princess when Daisuke heard a voice in her head.
"I know where she might be, lead your friends here." The voice said as Daisuke's eyes glowed red before they returned to normal as she stopped walking drawing everyone's attention to her.
"Dai what's up?" Veemon asked his partner as she looked down at him.
"I'm not sure, follow me." She said as she ran off into a back alley leaving the others in shock as they watched her run.
"Hey Dai wait up!" Veemon called to her as he ran after his partner as the other three looked at each other before they shrugged their shoulders as they followed after Dai and Veemon through the alley. Daisuke didn't know what was going on with her but for some strange reason she just seemed to know where she was going as she climbed a ladder as Veemon followed after her followed by Donald Sora and Goofy as they got to the top of the ladder they found themselves in run down building with a perfect view of the skyline of the city as they saw the sun set over the palace.
"Beautiful." Daisuke said as Veemon nodded his head in agreement as Sora entered the building.
"Dai what the heck is wrong with you?" He asked her making her turn around and look at him in confusion.
"What?" Was her reply as Sora blinked.
"You ran after Jafar earlier today then when you came back you were acting really weird, and now you lead us to this run down building." Sora said as Daisuke looked at him but before she could retort Veemon steeped on a carpet which moved and lifted into the air causing Veemon to fall to the floor with a yelp as everyone turned to see the carpet floating in the air.
"Uh is that a magic carpet?" Daisuke asked the others.
"I think it is." Sora said scratching his head.
"But what's it doing here?" Donald quacked in confusion as the carpet moved and actually stood on two of its corners and folded the other two inward like it was a person as everyone looked at the carpet in confusion.
"Okay now I've seen everything." Veemon said as the carpet started waving its uh arms around and pointed to outside.
"I think it wants us to go with it?" Sora suggested.
"Sure it does." Daisuke said nodding her head as Sora pouted.
"I think he's right." Goofy said as the carpet flipped in the air before it laid flat in the air as Veemon hopped on the carpet as did Goofy and Donald.
"Come on guys." Veemon said as Daisuke looked at Sora who shrugged his shoulders as he climbed onto the carpet as Daisuke looked at them as she sighed in defeat.
"Okay fine." She said as she climbed onto the carpet beside Sora as the carpet lurched before it sped off through the sky and out of Agrabah but unknown to the group Jafar had been watching them through Daisuke's eyes.
"Jafar, she still hasn't found Jasmine for us yet." Iago squawked from Jafar's shoulder as he looked at the bird.
"Patience my dear Iago, soon we will find who we seek." Jafar said to the bird who nodded as he flew away from Jafar who went back to observing the group as Daisuke blinked and shook her head as her eyes flickered from red back to brown as the carpet flew out into the desert.
"Where's this thing taking us?" Veemon asked the others.
"It was your idea to get in this thing." Sora said to Veemon who nodded sheepishly as Goofy spotted something.
"Hey what's going on over there?" He pointed as everyone looked to where he was pointing as the carpet stopped in flight as Veemon nearly fell off the carpet if Donald hadn't grabbed him by the ankle and pulled him back onto the rug as the carpet flew down towards where Goofy was pointing. When the carpet got closer they all could see a young man with black hair wearing a purple vest with baggy pants along with a fez with a monkey wearing a vest and a fez as well.
"What are they doing all the way out here?" Daisuke asked as they all jumped off the carpet onto the sand as they heard something beneath them as they saw the man and the monkey sink into the sand as four turban heartless emerged from the sand holding their swords.
"These things again?" Daisuke asked as the others nodded as she and Sora summoned their Keyblade's.
"Take them out." Sora said as he charged at the heartless followed by Daisuke while Goofy, Donald and Veemon avoided the fight as they rushed to the sinkhole.
"Hold on, we'll get you out of there." Veemon called to them.
"Thanks." The man said as Veemon reached for him as Donald and Goofy lowered him into the sinkhole as he grabbed the monkey first and pulled him out to safety. Veemon then went back and grabbed the man as he pulled him out as well just as Daisuke and Sora had dealt with the last of the turban heartless as the man looked at them with a smile.
"Thanks for getting me out of there." The man said in thanks to Veemon, Donald and Goofy who nodded to the man as the monkey climbed onto his shoulder.
"That's okay, my names Veemon and this is Donald, Goofy, Sora and Daisuke." Veemon said introducing the others to the duo.
"I'm Aladdin, and this is Abu." The man said pointing to the monkey on his shoulder who chittered and waved at the group.
"Aladdin, you wouldn't happen to know a Princess Jasmine by any chance would you?" Daisuke asked him as his eyes widened as he looked at her in shock.
"Jasmine! What's happened to her?" He asked the group.
"Some guy named Jafar was after her the last time we saw her." Sora told Aladdin who's eyes hardened slightly.
"Jafar." He growled as they heard a noise as several turban heartless emerged from the sand surrounding the group.
"Not good." Daisuke groaned.
"Allow me to deal with these guys." Aladdin said as he took out an old lamp and rubbed it.
"Genie get rid of these guys!" Aladdin exclaimed as the lamp shook as blue smoke flew out of the end as it took the form of a blue man with golden shackles around his wrists.
"You got it buddy, wish number one coming right up." Genie said as he snapped his fingers which made all the heartless vanish as everyone looked at Aladdin who was smiling.
"Okay what just happened?" Sora asked confused.
"It's kinda confusing." Aladdin said.
"Okay but what were you doing out here?" Veemon asked him.
"The same old stuff, searching for hidden treasure. I just came back from a place called the cave of wonders, it's where I found this lamp." Aladdin said holding the lamp out.
"What's so special about a lamp?" Donald asked him.
"Because when you rub it you can summon." Aladdin was cut off when the genie emerged from the lamp.
"Please kid leave the introductions to a professional. Presenting the one and only Genie of the lamp!" Genie said.
"Just rub that lamp and have three of your deepest wishes granted!" The genie said enthusiastically holding up three fingers.
"Our young Aladdin has already made his first wish, so now he only has two left." Genie said as everyone looked at him.
"Uh that's great and all but we still need to find Jasmine, so back to Agrabah." Daisuke said as the rest of the group nodded as they all clambered onto the carpet as it took off back towards Agrabah as Genie flew beside them.
"Oh the fresh air smells so good after so long." Genie said as he flew around.
"How often do you get out?" Veemon asked him.
"Once or twice even century or two, it comes with the job." Genie said sadly.
"That's horrible." Daisuke said.
"Yeah but that's the job of being a genie phenomenal cosmic power for an itty biddy living space." Genie said sadly.
"Hey genie what if I used my last wish to set you free?" Aladdin asked him.
"You'd do that for me?" The genie asked him.
"Of course, but after we've saved Jasmine." Aladdin said as genie nodded as they continued to fly towards Agrabah but as they flew the sun had set behind the dunes of sand and they could hear a rumbling from beneath them as a pillar of sand erupted forth and sent the magic carpet spiralling to the ground as the group hit the sand hard as they all looked up to see the sand swirl and form a giant tigers head as it glared at them with purple and black eyes. It then opened its jaw as everyone saw the lamp fall from the sky as the head swallowed it as everyone gasped in shock.
"Genie no!" Aladdin shouted as the head roared at the group blowing them backwards.
"Okay what the heck is that?" Veemon said.
"That is the cave of wonders, but it's eyes were white the last time I was here." Aladdin said in confusion as everyone looked up at the eyes.
"I think the heartless are responsible for this." Daisuke said.
"You're right." Donald quacked as the tigers head growled as lights shot out of its eyes towards the group as they all rolled out of the way as Daisuke blasted it with lightning from her friendship Keyblade making the head growl and roar as Sora hit it with a fireball making it growl as it's eyes fired more lights at them making them dodge and roll out of the way as Donald launched several fire balls aimed at the eyes of the tigers head as they hit their mark and the tiger growled and shut it's eyes as it opened its eyes again and blinked as it's eyes turned back to their original colour as it opened its mouth fully as everyone looked at the tiger head.
"Looks like it's safe to enter the cave." Aladdin said as the group set forth as they all entered the cave as back at the place Jafar grinned at what he was seeing.
"So the cave of wonders is where they are now perfect." Jafar said as he tapped his staff and a swirling red vortex appeared as he stepped through as Iago flew in after him as the portal then closed.
"Whoa!" Sora said in awe as everyone laid eyes upon the mountains upon mountains of gold, jewels, silver and everything in between that littered the cave of wonders.
"You said it." Daisuke said as her eyes sparkled as she thought about what she could buy with all this gold.
"Come on you guys, we need to find Genie's lamp and fast." Aladdin said as he set of in search of the lamp that had been swallowed by the tigers head as the others followed after him.
"Remember you guys don't touch anything." Aladdin warned them as he saw Veemon about to grab a handful of gold coins.
"Why not?" He asked as everyone looked at Aladdin thinking the same thing.
"Because we won't make it out of here if you do." Aladdin said seriously as Veemon gulped and lowered his hand from the coins as the others all followed after Aladdin who lead them through the cave as they searched for the lamp.
"How hard can it be to find a lamp?" Donald quacked as he looked in a pile of treasure.
"You're asking me?" Veemon asked him raising an eyebrow to the duck.
"Aladdin, where'd you find the lamp last time?" Daisuke asked him as Aladdin looked at her as he closed his eyes in thought.
"Got it." He said snapping his fingers and opening his eyes with a smile.
"I know where Genie is, follow me." Aladdin said as he walked away as the others looked at him before they all followed after him as they saw Aladdin standing in the entrance of a very empty room.
"Did somebody ransack this place?" Sora asked as Aladdin shook his head.
"No it was like this when I last came here." Aladdin said.
"Look the lamp." Goofy said as he pointed to the centre of the room where a single ray of moonlight shone down on a stone altar where sitting there was the lamp of the Genie.
"Let's go get it." Sora said as they others nodded as they all walked towards the altar. Daisuke however as she was about to follow them stopped as her eyes glowed red.
"Attack them, now!" Jafar ordered her in her mind as she nodded as Daisuke's eyes gained red swirls in them as she summoned her friendship Keyblade and she then stalked towards the rest of the group who were oblivious to the danger as Aladdin reached the altar and reached for the lamp only for it to turn to dust.
"What?!" Aladdin exclaimed in shock as a evil laugh echoed throughout the cave.
"Did you lose something street rat?" A voice mock asked him.
"Jafar!" Sora shouted as they all heard laughter as a red swirling vortex appeared as Jafar appeared with Iago on his shoulder in front of them.
"I remember you, from the other day when you saved the princess." Jafar sneered.
"Jasmine what have you done with Jasmine?!" Aladdin asked him drawing his sword as Jafar laughed.
"I think you've more pressing matters to deal with." Jafar said as they heard a shout as Aladdin turned to see Daisuke lunge at him and swing her Keyblade down as Aladdin blocked with his sword as the others stumbled back in shock at their friends actions.
"Dai!" Sora shouted in shock as Daisuke kicked him backwards as he skidded across the floor as everyone else looked at Daisuke who was panting hard.
"Okay, I don't know what's wrong with you Dai, but I'm going to stop you." Sora said summoning his Keyblade as Daisuke got a manic grin on her face as her eyes glowed slightly brighter as the swirls became more distinct. Jafar laughed as Veemon glared at him as Goofy drew his shield, Donald his staff and Aladdin his sword.
"What did you do to her!?" Veemon barked angrily to the vizier.
"Not much, except she works for me now." Jafar said as Aladdin lunged with his sword as Jafar blocked with his staff as the five started their battle away from Daisuke and Sora.
"FIRE!" Sora shouted launching a fireball at Daisuke who scoffed as she ducked as the two Keyblade masters locked blades as Sora gasped as he saw Daisuke's eyes which seemed to glow even brighter.
"Dai what's happened to you?" He asked as Daisuke growled at him as she pushed him back as he rolled to the side as Daisuke stabbed her Keyblade into the ground as it sparked and lightning surged towards Sora who yelped as he jumped out of the way of the electrical attack. Meanwhile with the others Veemon flew towards Jafar intending to headbutt him but Jafar ducked as he blocked a strike from Donald's staff and Aladdin's sword with his staff. Jafar then grunted as he pushed the four of them backwards with a swing of his staff.
"Enough of this foolishness!" Jafar shouted as he hit the ground with his staff. The cave then started to shake as the ground cracked in several places as lava started to seep through.
"Yikes." Veemon said as some areas of the floor sunk into the lava as they resumed their battle with Jafar. Meanwhile Sora and Daisuke were still clashing Keyblade's as the spiky haired brunette knocked his friend backwards as she growled at him as she summoned her courage Keyblade as well and lunged at Sora who groaned as he blocked.
"Dai! Snap out of it!" Sora pleaded with her as they heard a rumbling as the ground cracked beneath them as they both backed off from each other as lava seeped through and some of the floor fell into the lava below them as Sora stepped backwards a bit only for the floor to give out as he yelped and fell and grabbed the ledge.
"SORA!" Donald quacked as he rushed over to help his friend but lava burst up in front of him sending him skidding to a stop as Jafar laughed.
"Looks like the Keyblade master is at his end." He said as Goofy ran at him with his shield as Jafar swung it down like a club but Goofy blocked it and the snake head part of the staff cracked before it shattered as Jafar was shocked as Daisuke shook her head as her eyes returned to normal.
"What's going on?" She asked confused looking around when she noticed Sora slipping of the ledge as he held on for dear life with one hand as he lost his grip but before he fell he saw a tanned hand grab his wrists a he looked up to see Daisuke holding onto him.
"I gotcha." She said as Sora gave her a smile as Daisuke pulled him up to safety.
"Uh thanks Dai." Sora said as they heard a cry as they turned to see Jafar with an angry look on his face.
"No my plans, all ruined by a street rat and his friends!" Jafar shouted in anger as several heartless appeared around him.
"No no! It's not fair, my plan will work get back you creatures!" Jafar barked to the heartless who swarmed him as they group watched in surprise as Aladdin noticed a glint of something as he smiled and rushed over to it.
"Guys I found the lamp!" Aladdin said as everyone looked at him as he rubbed it and the Genie emerged from it.
"Oh Al great to see you again." Genie said happily.
"Great to see you too, now get us all out of here!" Aladdin said as the genie nodded as he scooped up everyone and flew out of the cave just as the tigers head sunk into the sand as genie set them down just outside on the sand.
"Thanks for the help, Genie." Sora said to the genie who nodded.
"No problem." The blue genie said as Aladdin smiled at the group.
"Thanks for helping me you guys, I owe ya one." Aladdin said.
"Hey no worries, happy to help." Daisuke said as everyone looked at her.
"What?" She asked them.
"Help? Help? Help?! You went crazy and attacked us!" Donald quacked in anger poking her in the chest.
"What are you talking about?" Daisuke asked him.
"You don't remember anything?" Veemon asked his partner.
"Uh all I remember is seeing you guys walk up to the lamp, then the next thing I know Sora is about to fall into lava." Daisuke said scratching her head as everyone looked at her with an eyebrow raised.
"Uh forget about it, let's just go guys." Sora said as the rest of the group nodded as they waved goodbye to Aladdin and Genie as they made their way back to the Gummi ship.
