Chapter 10
Of course Ron wouldn't come back straight away and he didn't. So eventually Draco, Harry and Hermione packed up and headed to a new spot – The White Cliffs Of Dover. Hermione sat there – Draco knew how much Ron meant to her. Hermione curled up, as much as she could on the rock face, against Draco with a couple of books. While Harry lay in the tent with the snitch.
The snitch was hovering over Harry's head and he was about to give up figuring out how to open it.
"Opens at the touch," muttered Draco.
"Hmm," said Hermione.
"The snitch," answered Draco.
"Yeah we know," answered Hermione. "But it didn't."
"Yeah well it wouldn't it," said Draco.
"Draco," she sighed.
"The first snitch Harry ever caught. He didn't catch with his hands," said Draco.
"He almost chocked on it," whispered Hermione, before leaping to her feet her books falling to the rocks.
She raced of to the tent, Draco following with her books.
"Harry," shouted Hermione.
Harry shot up.
"The snitch," she gasped.
"Yeah," he asked.
"You almost chocked on it," she gasped.
Harry turned his head. Looking at the fluttering gold ball, he reached out and brought it to his lips. I open at the close. Staring at it for a second he passed it to Hermione who couldn't figure it out either.
"I've been thinking about that mark in the children's books. It isn't Spellman Syllabary. It isn't anywhere someone's inked it in. So it has to mean something," said Hermione.
"Luna's dad was wearing it on a necklace at the wedding," said Harry.
"What is it?" asked Draco, Hermione looked at him. "What I was watching you outside not the books."
Hermione passed him the book and then watched him closely.
"I think I've seen it before," he said. "I don't know where."
"Think," whispered Hermione.
Draco started pacing and Hermione sat down.
"Yeah. The Deathly Hallows," said Draco. "There was three brothers. The Peverell Brothers. The was a wand, a invisibly cloak and the resurrection stone. Dad mentioned it once said you know who wanted the wand and no one knew who had it. The cloak was lost or handed down the line," said Draco.
"I have a cloak," said Harry.
"The Peverell Brothers which one had the cloak?" asked Hermione.
"Dad never said there names but it should be in the book it's like a myth. Mum told me story when I was younger but never mentioned the names," said Draco.
Hermione flicked though the book.
"Got it. Ignotus," she said.
She grabbed a notebook from the floor and began to skim though it.
"Ignotus Peverell is related to you Harry," she said.
"So it was passed down the line," said Draco.
"And the brother with the stone. Cadmus his line mixed with Salazar at some point," she said.
"So the stone landed in you knows family," said Draco.
"Goodness knows where it now then," sighed Hermione.
"What about the wand?" asked Harry.
"The brother was killed after he used to kill someone, he boasted about it. It was passed on though people who fought for it. I think the wand maker Gregorovitch was rumored to have it," said Draco.
"It was stolen," said Harry.
"What?" asked Hermione.
"I've been having some dreams," muttered Harry.
"You need to stop letting him in," said Hermione. "But what happened."
"He was with this guy and that mark was there outside. And then there was this vision of a blond guy who stole it I think the guy said Grindelwald," said Harry.
"Everyone knows where he is," said Draco. "A friend defeat him about he went on a muggle and wizard killing spree and he was locked inside his own prison tower." "I don't know anything about his friend."
"I think we should go to Godric's Hollow," said Harry.
"Why?" asked Draco.
"I almost died there, so did he. Dumbledore was from there," said Harry. "We have no way of getting into the vaults to get the cup."
"Yes we do," smiled Hermione.
"Bellatrix never sends me to her vault," said Draco.
"Damn," muttered Hermione.
"So we're at a dead end again," sighed Harry.
"I don't think we should go to Godric's Hallow I think it will be to risky," said Hermione. "We know where the snake is and we know where the cup is we just need to plan how to get them."
"My vault is right near Bellatrix," said Draco. "It's risky but if you two are under the cloak and we Imperio the goblin after we go past the detection point then we can get in. Think yours in there as well Potter."
"And I'd love to explore it but I don't think now is the time. I think we'd need to get in and out," answered Harry.
"So now we just have to plan when," said Hermione.
