Hey I'm back, it's been along while, I know and I kind of abandon this story too to write another one, I need to finish that other story before I can really focus on this one.

So this is what I got so far, but I promise to give you more ...

CHAPTER 10: HANDLE WITH CARE

"This is crazy, moment's ago I clearly didn't remember why I'm in this city in the first place nor I remember being here with vampire named Katherine Pierce, it's happen every time she went out and when she came back I can remember the reason I called her in the first place, but earlier when I saw that woman trapped under the car it's like I saw myself trap under it and I remember about a man that help me. Elijah."

"What are you doing?" Katherine asked the young doctor, she's been buried in her papers ever since they got to their hotel room, more like, Katherine's room, even though they sign Lexie's name for the very expensive hotel room, Katherine still has the master bedroom and leave the raven haired women to sleep on the couch, it's still comfortable though.

Lexie looks up and close the paper immediately. "I'm studying for my board, reading rare cases. I still a doctor you know, and I need to …"

"You need to be useful so I'm not end up killing you." Katherine said cutting Lexie off. "You are not going anywhere nor do anything unless you go somewhere to do something for me."

"And I recalled that our agreement is to help me with my memory-gap problem, not being your slave."

"Hmm, who's decided to be brave?" She said with her low and manipulating voice as she grab the young doctor's throat and lift her one feet in the air. "You do realize I can rip your throat in a split second, and you'll no longer exist."

The petite girl nodded quickly, her eyes showed fear in them and she should, for her shakes she need to do as she ask for now, she need to be smart to stay alive and get out from this mess she got herself into. Lexie thinks back to the moment she decided to go to Mystic Falls, at that moment she felt that it's the right choice to made because she can't handle the emptiness she feel, and now she kind of regret it, she regret it because she didn't smart enough to saw things through, she usually good with puzzles, solving every piece. But clearly she being ever so stupid to take the advice from a nurse to call Katherine because she fell for her trap, the nurse is already compelled by her and now nothing she can do to change that except to follows her game and stay alive.

The brunette release her hold on the other girl's throat and walks away gracefully to the window. "Do you know what makes Chicago special in my eyes?" She said while keep looking out the window like she find something interesting to watch, the women soon to be surgeon rub her sore throat and shakes her head slowly, she really doesn't know what's going on in the vampire's mind. "It's not the food, the scenery or the people."

Katherine smile evilly as she turns to face Lexie, her eyes give away her cockiness, ego and the need to be notice and in control, after all, Katherine Pierce had been does everything to stay alive by manipulate, sacrifice and kill, now she want to feel free, because she will never in control nor would be notice until she stop looking over her shoulder and free from her immortal homicide psycho original hybrid - - also called as her immortal enemy named Klaus.

"It's about how supernatural being is hiding from the mortal, you can find them posing as humans and live a normal life. The werewolves, vampires, witches, and you can always get the information that you need by giving them a little motivation." She step away from the window and walks toward Lexie. "And you, I need you to be a distraction to someone."

"Why?" She asked the bad-ass vampire, it's still mystery about why she kept saying that the women soon to be surgeon is needed in this city, because all she want is recover her memory so that emptiness she feels can be heal.

"Why me, Katherine? What's so special about me that every time I go out, you need to mind control me to forget about you?" Lexie asked. "It's not like I'm going to tell somebody about you being here, last time I check, I don't know anybody in this city, and … and besides, I don't care about your vampire, supernatural business."

The brunette vampire walks with her super vampire speed and stop right in front of the raven hired girl, making her gasp and step back a little. "That's, little girl, is for me to know, and for you, to find … out." She said and grabs her shoulder and looks her right in the eyes. "Now I need you to something for me, something important."

Sorry, this is short, very short ... well actually the chapter is not finish yet, and I will finish it with a bonus chap to make up for this one ... :)
