A/N: This chapter is a lot more serious than the others... sorry... I know since it deals with my OC but I couldn't help myself... Also second to last chapter! I'm going to make sure to update the next chapter during the week... didn't expect me to finish this one so soon...
Chapter 10: Ko's Question
"So which of you two want to go next?" asked Hikaru.
"I will… I think Chopper's question might be best for last." Said Ko.
"What?" asked Chopper.
"You just want to see your question now…" joked Usa.
Ko rolled her eyes.
"What if I was born a boy but Usa was a girl?" asked Ko.
Everyone was shocked at the question.
"You know it will probably be a ridiculous answer…" said Hikaru.
"I don't care…" said Ko.
(Story)
In the boy's cabin, a boy looked like he was barely a teenager got up.
The boy got up and sniffed the air.
"Hey! Wait a minute!" the boy who had short dark blue hair and strangely cat ears got up.
He got up, climbed up the ladder and headed to the galley thankfully Sanji was only making it.
"Morning Kohaku!" said Sanji.
This was Kone Kohaku breathed a sigh of relief.
("Kohaku?" asked Ko.
"I guess it keep the pun." Said Usa.)
"Good I didn't wake up too late." Said Kohaku.
"No it's fine… besides after the rampages you had someone will wake you up before breakfast." Said Sanji.
"Good..." sighed Kohaku.
(Flashback)
("A flashback?" asked Luffy)
Kohaku got up and found all of the good was gone.
"LUFFY!" yelled Kohaku taking out a large sword out.
"Uh-oh…" said Luffy.
"YOU'LL PAY FOR EATING MY BREAKFAST!" yelled Kohaku.
Kohaku began to chaise Luffy with the sword.
"We're going to have opt start waking him up." Said Nami.
The others nodded in agreement.
(End of Flashback)
Since lunch wasn't ready, Kohaku decided to watch the seas.
Kohaku was the newest member of the Straw Hats, despite not hitting puberty yet.
("What?" asked Ko.
"It's not real…" said Usa.)
Kohaku was a form table member as the crew's new battle stagiest.
"Ahoy!" came a shout.
Everyone turned to a see a small boat, inside was a shy looking young woman wearing glasses with purple hair, and the other a teen-aged boy wearing a cloak.
"Hey! I know you're pirates but I want safe voyage to an island. I will glad pay you!" called out the boy.
Kohaku's ears perked up.
"Him…" muttered Kohaku.
"You know him?" asked Chopper.
"Yeah." Said Kohaku.
Kohaku headed to the men's s cabin to grab something.
They went into the galley to talk with the two.
"I want safe passage to Konegi island." Said the boy taking out an eternal pose to the island.
That was when Kohaku came into the room wearing a baseball cap.
"Hey, Kohaku, aren't you from Konegi Island?" asked Luffy.
"Kohaku?" asked the boy.
"Wait isn't he…" whispered the girl.
"Damn it! Luffy you blew my cover!" yelled Kohaku.
He took out a rapier.
"Hello Trent…" muttered Kohaku.
"Look! Settle down… I'm not looking for a fight…" said the boy named Trent, "Even we do have grudges."
"You're from the Gi clan aren't you?" asked Robin.
("Oh I guess in this situation the two clans never buried the hatchet" said Robin.
"Make sense." Said Usa.)
"I am… but I didn't know that he was on the ship." Said Trent, "Let's ignore our grudges for now and help me protect her."
"My… my name is Serena." Said the girl, "Please… I just want to get opt Konegi island…"
She looked scared and would flinch if someone touched her.
"Fine…" muttered Kohaku.
"So you're take the job?" asked the girl.
"Minds as well." Said Nami.
"Thank you so much…" said the girl, "My name is Serena…"
"All right! We're get you home!" said Luffy.
"Thank you so much…" said Serena.
"I'll make extra then." Said Sanji.
"I'm a vegetarian…" said Serena.
"All right then!" said Sanji then hearts erupted from his eyes.
As they were eating breakfast, Nami was reading the newspaper.
Sanji spotted the news.
"Oh man this terrible!" yelled Sanji.
He broke down and cried.
"What's wrong?" asked Luffy.
"Gi Usa is missing!" yelled Sanji.
Serena suddenly flinched when he said that.
"Gi Usa?" asked Luffy.
"You never heard of Gi Usa?" asked Sanji.
("Well I can see the twist come now." Sighed Ko, "Then again it was pretty obvious."
"What twist?" asked Luffy.
"Really?" asked Nami who saw the twist coming too).
"Gi Usa is the world's most famous model!" yelled Sanji, "Her mother ate The Rabbit Rabbit Fruit and due to side effects when eating a Zoan, her daughter became a rabbit girl! She kind sweet and very beautiful…"
That was when Kohaku got up and left the galley.
"I'm full" was all he could say.
There was an awkward silence in the room.
"You know… Gi Usa is a member of the Gi Clan… right?" asked Robin.
"I did not know that." Said Sanji.
Trent was quiet, while Serena sighed.
Sometime later, Robin and Kohaku were playing chess.
"Today doesn't seem to be your day does it?" asked Robin.
"No…" sighed Kohaku, "Not only do I have to of back to my home island but I have to deal with Trent and hearing about how his bimbo of a half sister went missing!"
Robin looked at Trent.
"You know him, don't you?" asked Robin.
"We haven't seen each other in years but we're enemies." Said Kohaku.
"I see…" said Robin.
"I hate we have a mutual relative." Muttered Kohaku.
"You do…" said Robin.
"I don't want to talk about it." Said Kohaku, "Check mate."
Robin smirked.
"Another game?" asked Robin.
"I have to use the bathroom." Said Kohaku.
Robin laughed, Kohaku was the only one who used the toilet.
(The women glared at the guys.
"What?" asked Zoro.
"Nothing…" muttered Nami)
However the bathroom was behind used.
Inside "Serena" has just finished taking a bath. However her purple hair was really a wig, her real hair was pink, nan come out of her hair at the top of her hair were a pair of rabbit ears.
("Oh man! That girl was really Usa!" yelled Luffy in surprise.
Everyone rolled their eyes.
"I'm surprised, this one is kind of serious." Said Nami.
"Sometimes it deiced to do a serious story if it feels like it." Said Hikaru.)
She wrapped at two around herself.
That was when the door opened.
There was an awkward silence as the one opened the door was Kohaku.
"Serena" blinked then screamed.
Everyone came running in.
"Kohaku what did you do!" yelled Nami.
That was when they noticed how "Serena" looked liked.
"You… you… you…." Said Sanji.
"Get out of here!" yelled Nami realizing Sanji was about to have a nosebleed and maybe pass out.
Kohaku began to walk away.
"Kohaku apologize!" ordered Nami.
"No…" muttered Kohaku.
"What?" asked Nami.
Kohaku turned around and glared harshly at "Serena".
"I would never, ever apologize for anything to that BITCH!" yelled Kohaku.
("Ko!" yelled Luffy.
"It's an alternate universe version of me who went thorough different situation!" yelled Ko.)
"Serena's eyes winded then it looked like she was about to cry.
"It's okay… it's all my fault… I should have locked the door." Said Serena.
"Usa…" said the boy named Trent.
Sometime later Trent and "Serena" who was really Gi Usa was explain the real situation to the entire crew but Kohaku and for some reason Zoro.
"I didn't want to reveal myself… but I really am Gi Usa." Said Usa.
All but Luffy was so surprised, they couldn't believe it was the same girl.
They had seen many pictures of her, but she was always laughing and smiling.
"Is this about Kohaku!" yelled Sanji.
"No… everything Kohaku said about me is right! I ruined his life…" cried Usa.
"He didn't say that…" said Usopp.
"IT's how he feels about me though…" said Usa.
"How much do you know about Kohaku anyways?" asked Trent.
"Well he joined pretty recently." Said Luffy, "He's from Konegi island, sleeps a lot, really likes fish, hates tangerines…"
"I guess he never brought up his family." Said Trent.
"It's not a subject that brought up often on this ship." Said Sanji.
"Makes sense…" said Trent.
Meanwhile on the sail, Kohaku was trying to take a nap.
"So what's your problem." Said Zoro.
"You want to know…" sighed Kohaku, "Well I minds as well tell someone…"
Kohaku sat up.
"She's my half sister." He explained.
Zoro's eyes winded.
In the Galley, Usa explained her side.
"Our father gave our mothers two Devil Fruits… the Rabbit Rabbit and the Kitten Kitten, so that they would give birth to us and he would choose which family he wanted… he chose me and my mother…" explained Usa.
"I haven't seen him since he left for the tradition." Said Trent, "He doesn't know what happened shortly after he left."
"What" asked Luffy.
"You mean the divorce?" asked Sanji.
Usa nodded.
"What?" asked Luffy.
"About two years ago, Usa's parents divorced and her father got custody." Said Sanji.
"what the story didn't mention that it was caused by a mental break down caused by stress." Said Trent, "In the early days her smile was real. But eventfully the fame and stress got to her…"
("Man!" said Ko.
"Yep… these serous can get… well really messed up at time…" said Hikaru.
"It's as if the cosmic writers took a long break their tastes have changed slightly…" said Robin.)
"I need some air." Said Usa.
She got up to leave.
"By the way he lied… I didn't have a breakdown because of my fame… the real reason is because of something else." Said Usa.
"Usa… please don't ask him to what I think you're going to ask him…" said Trent.
Usa was silent as she went outside.
Trent gritted his teeth.
"Why do you care so much about her." Said Luffy.
"She's my half sister." Said Trent.
"Wait… I thought she was Ko's half sister." Said Luffy.
"Oh we have the same mom, they have the same dad." Said Trent.
"Oh oaky…" said Luffy.
Usa looked up and Kohaku talking with Zoro.
"Excuse me Kohaku can we talk." Said Usa.
Kohaku glared and decided to humor the rabbit girl.
He jumped down to the deck.
"What do you want to talk about?" asked Kohaku.
"You blame me for all of your problems… don't you?" asked Usa.
Kohaku said nothing.
"Okay… then I want you to do something for me…" said Usa.
"What?" asked Kohaku.
"I want you to kill me…" whimpered Usa.
Kohaku stared at Usa.
"What!" yelled Kohaku.
"If I go back to Konegi Island I'll just cause a war…" whispered Usa then began to cry, "And if I give myself up I'll just end up becoming a model again… Kill me please! I'm nothing but a broken doll… I was just born for men to lust after all… that's all I am! And all I'll ever be! I can't ask Trent because he loves me… but you hate me… so everyone will understand why you did… please do it."
(Everyone stared in horror at this.
"JESUS!" yelled Hikaru.
"Jesus?" asked Luffy.
"I don't know… that just seemed prorate to tell…" said Hikaru.)
Kohaku looked at the girl in front of him, he looked at her face and realized Usa wasn't lying.
"I don't hate you that much!" yelled Kohaku, "I would never kill anyone!"
Usa was quiet.
"Killing only brings misery…" said Kohaku.
("Oaky this is getting a little creepy." Said Ko.
"You mean it seems to know personal details?" asked Luffy.
"Yeah." Said Usa.
"IT used personal details in the last one…" said Hikaru.
"But those ones were silly." Said Usa.)
"I might had you but I will never kill you!" yelled Kohaku.
Usa nodded.
Zoro then noticed something.
"Hey!" yelled Zoro, "I see a marine ship!"
"Crap!" yelled Kohaku.
The other Straw Hats came out.
"You have to hide me and Usa, I bet their searching for us!" said Trent.
"Yeah… no!" said Luffy.
"What! But their in the pockets of the piece of shit!" yelled Trent.
"Their under a piece of shit?" asked Luffy.
"Usa's father." Said Trent face palming.
"He's a former pirates." Said Kohaku, "Why would they work wit him?"
"I just said moneys involved." Said Trent.
"Did daddy ever find out?" asked Usa.
"Find out about what?" asked Trent then he realized, "No, he didn't…"
"What are you talking about?" asked Kohaku getting annoyed.
"Daddy never wanted me to learn the Gi style…" explained Usa, "But I learned secretly…"
"Wait… hold on… you're going to fight them!" yelled Trent.
Usa didn't respond.
The Straw Hats were quiet.
"All right! Let's fight them!" yelled Luffy.
"You can't be serous!" yelled Nami.
"It's just one boat it will be fine!" said Luffy.
Eventually the Marine ship got closer.
"Let's go…" muttered Usa.
"She doesn't seem very sane…" said Zoro.
"She's suicidal and had a mental breakdown and never recovered from it… of course she isn't sane." Said Trent.
On the marine ship a man took out a Megaphone.
"Give me back my daughter! And no one gets hurt!" yelled the man.
That was when Usa screamed at the top of her lungs.
"IF YOU WANT ME COME AND GET ME! I WON'T GO OUT WITH OUT A FIGHT!" yelled Usa.
Kohaku stared at his half sister as the song Colorful (the opening song to Puella Magi Madoka Magica Rebellion Story played).
("A song here?" asked Ko.
"I don't know why but for some reason this song feels apparate for this story." Said Usa.
The marines stared swarming the ship. Both Trent and Kohaku decided to defend Usa as the straw Hats took on most of the marines.
Nami created a small thunder storm that shocked a couple of marines, Robin tossed a few off the boat as Zoro cut several down, Sanji kicked a few away while Chopper turned to his heavy point and punched several off the ship… Usopp played dead.
Luffy used Gum Gum Bazooka on about 20.
Kohaku and Trent were fighting them off.
Kohaku sent out the usual throwing weapons at them and pinned to the deck.
Usa looked at one of the throwing knives and grabbed it.
"Usa what are you doing!" yelled Trent fearing the worse.
Everyone watched in shock as Usa took the knife and used it to cut her long hair to a short bob.
"The Gi Usa you know is dead!" yelled Usa.
She then disappeared and reappeared kicked several marines off the ship.
"How…" said Ko.
"I don't know myself but she took to fighting like a fish to water, I think it's a rabbit's speed or something but she's so fast it's like she's teleporting." Said Trent.
(Look like they finally found something they made up." Said Usa.)
She used this incredible speed to surprise several marines and get them off the ship.
On the Marine Usa's father Gen gritted his teeth.
"We have to get out of here"! yelled captain of the ship, "There's no way we can win this…"
"But my daughter…" said Gen.
"Is kicking the ass of all of my crew…" said the captain.
They began to rescue the marines from the sea and began to retreat. Usa breathed a sigh of relief when they did.
Everyone was deck was quiet as the song quieted down.
"Your hair…" said Sanji
"It doesn't matter…" said Usa, "Is it okay if I join?"
"What?" asked Luffy.
"I don't want to go back to Konegi Island the marines will just attach the island since their not part of the world government, and I will never go back to him… you're the only choice I have left…"
"Sure you're super fast!" said Luffy.
"What!" yelled the rest of the crew but Kohaku.
"Didn't you notice" asked Nami, "Usa and Kohaku don't get along."
"We'll learn." Said Kohaku.
"What?" asked Usa surprised.
"I thought you were spoiled bimbo who got everything sheer ever wanted…" said Kohaku, "I didn't know you were this…"
Usa was quiet and then hugged Kohaku.
"I'm sorry!" she cried.
Kohaku didn't know how to react.
"I'll join too." Said Trent, "Usa needs someone to take care of her… and as you can see she very unstable…"
"It's all right! Both of you are part of this crew now…" laughed Luffy.
"How long have they been here again?" asked Usopp.
"A couple hours." Said Robin.
"Everything happened so fast." Said Usopp.
"I know…" said Robin.
Usa broke the hug and Kohaku offered a handshake.
And with that the two joined the Straw Hats… with the two half siblings finally truly getting to know each and get along.

"Was is just me or was it longer than most of the other stories?" asked Zoro.
"Probably because of how serious it was…" said Hikaru.
"I think we can all agree it was better you guys were born the same gender." Said Luffy.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"But seriously… why was my story the only that was serious?" asked Ko.
Everyone else laughed nervously, it was best not to ask questions about it.
Next Time: It's the final question, which is Chopper's... what will he ask?
