James Potter

"You again?" I said frustrated as I looked at a big strong golden lion. The lion simply stared at me with its round green eyes. It started walking slowly towards me then its body started to change shape and soon a man with pale skin, red hair, a long red beard and the same light green eyes the lion had stood in front of me.

"Hello James," Godric Gryffindor waved. "I'm sorry for taking so long to appear to you as a human but there is a certain reason for that."

"Godric Gryffindor? What are you doing here?" I asked him shocked at the sudden apparition of one of the greatest wizards of all time and one of the four founders of Hogwarts. "And where are we?"

"In your head of course," he answered. "You're still dreaming James."

"Wait…so you're not real?"

"I certainly am not," he laughed. "I'm a simple messenger."

"And what message do you carry?" I said as I looked around. I noticed that I was standing in the middle of the Quidditch pitch but something seemed odd about it like if the place was full of sorrow.

"You need to find the others," Godric said. "Today will be the first night but trust me it will get stronger."

"I don't understand," I murmured. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm sorry I never wanted this to happen but never forget that you are a true Gryffindor," his voice started to echo. "Be brave James Potter because your test has just begun."

I opened my eyes to find myself in the boys dormitory of the Gryffindor Tower were I was supposed to be. I looked around and saw that I was the only one awake meaning it was probably early in the morning still. I wasn't tired at all actually I felt like I had to do exercise or something I've never felt with so much energy. I quickly got out of bed, took a quick shower and dressed.

"What's up with you?" asked Lily as I walked out the boys' dormitory and into the common room. She was sitting on the floor with a book in her hand.

"What do you mean?" I replied with a huge smile.

"You seem…different." She said slowly thinking as if she couldn't find the correct words to describe me.

"I do feel different," I admitted. "I've never felt so good actually."

"What are you two talking about?" asked Alexa as she walked her way down the stairs just outside the girls' dormitory.

"Just chilling," I quickly responded.

"Are you okay James?" Alexa yawned before looking at me as if it was the first time she saw me.

"Never been better actually I'm going to go for a run I feel like I need to release some of that Potter energy," I told them. "Want to join me?"

"Potter energy?" Lily raised an eyebrow.

"What did you do to him?" Alexa asked as she pointed at me.

I had no idea what they were talking about I felt the same except a bit more happy and with a little more of energy than usual. Actually, I felt like I could've moved mountains, walk on water or play against the Slytherin Quidditch team by myself and still beat them.

"Did you drink something yesterday James?" Lily asked.

"No Lils!" I said before I left the common room and headed towards the Quidditch Field.

I ran for a couple of miles before I decided to take a small break soon Alexa had joined me. We ran together for a while before she decided to take a small break while I continued nonstop. I continued running waiting for my body to give me a warning that it was tired. After three hours of nonstop running I decided to stop.

"Practice will start soon want to warm up a little?" I asked Alexa.

"We still have two hours until practice and you haven't eaten anything," Alexa said as she looked at me with a strange face as if she was examining me.

"I'm not hungry." I simply responded. "Are you sure you don't want to practice?"

"Okay now you're beginning to scare me," Alexa looked at me. "I know you're an athlete and all but since when do you train five hours nonstop before a two hour Quidditch practice?"

"Today duh," I told her.

"And since when have you rejected food?" She crossed her arms and looked with one eyebrow raised at me. "Are you sure you're James Potter?"

"Stop acting like a weirdo," I smiled at her then noticed how beautiful she looked. Her hair was falling and shining like never before if I didn't know her I would've thought she was some kind of angel.

"James…?" she waved her hand in front of me bringing me back to my senses.

"I was just noticing how lovely you look today," I told her. She looked at me with a strange face as if she was shocked by what I just said. I headed towards the Quidditch pitch ready to begin training.

Soon everyone had arrived and practiced had started. Everyone was acting so weird around me and I've had no idea why I mean it's just been a nice day nothing different from the others I guess the only one who seemed to be surprisingly happy with me today was Jason Wood.

"Keep going!" Jason yelled happily as I grabbed the snitch for the fifth time.

"Fred did you give him Felix Felicis?" I heard Lily ask as I dodged a bludger from Louis.

That's when I noticed things started to change. My surroundings seemed to be spinning everything around me seemed to be moving really fast I've had no idea what was happening. I couldn't focus and I felt as I started losing altitude luckily for me a broom is like one of my legs so I was able to control it for a couple of seconds before I lost consciousness.
