Wassup my bros? We're back with another chapter, and can I just say...
...ITS THE TENTH ONE!
Happy tenth chapter anniversary!
And since this is the tenth chapter, you bet that this whole thing will be one explosive bombshell after another! So prepare thy selves for an epic rolls coaster ride of feels, laughs, and just plain I-wanna-kill-Lutheish declarations.
also: I have an epic plot twist, that will occur at the end of this fanfiction, which will borne a sequel! So y'all will have to wait. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
Let's do this!
(but seriously, I love you guys. Thanks for putting up with my crazy ideas and god awful plot twists. Happy anniversary archangels, and be sure to enjoy it, because shit's about to hit the fan)
Tamaki was possibly traumatized. I mean, sure, the whole flight thing had shaken him up, but seeing Mila fall off of a cliff was the last straw. He didn't know if he could take much more of these bat shit crazy archangels.
Chloe was the only one who was furious, but hell, even she was sort of giggling at the end. However, she did take one of the luggage bags and slapped the two pranksters with it.
Archangels prove to be very durable.
Tamaki mulled over the fact while walking down the streets with the crew. Street vender were calling out, saying, "Signor! I give you good price!" And "How about a flower for the beautiful lady?". The bright colors made him feel right at home.
Raphael sidled up to him, asking about his welfare. "Look, sorry about that man. It's just, we're so used to putting our lives on the line that we really don't care anymore. Especially Mila and your Haruhi."
Tamaki was appalled. "So that means that they're allowed to throw themselves off of cliffs even though they can't fly? And what do you mean Haruhi doesn't care about her life? Of course she does!" Tamaki shrieked.
Raphael shook his head, muttering and sighing. "You didn't know her before. She was reckless, and who was in charge of getting her out of shit? Mila, that's who. Together, they could basically pull the craziest pranks and dares ever. Let's just say they were never left alone together."
"And why is that? Even if Haruhi used to be reckless, I know that she is perfectly sensible. So what would make her wanna risk her life? She is the archangel Michael."
"You know, you really are stupid. No wonder you were the last one to figure out that Haruhi was a girl." Raphael dead panned.
"Hey! That still doesn't answer my question!" Tamaki whined.
"Do you honestly think that we are still the same archangels from the bible? Heaven no! We're like reincarnations of them. So if one archangel is tired and wants to drop his duties, God makes new archangels. So Haruhi isn't the noble and awesome Michael. Right now, we're third generation. Haruhi's Michael 3.0."
So that's what Mila meant by wanting to leave, Tamaki thought.
"So what happens to the old archangels?"
"Dunno. Maybe they just become normal angels, like when you'll die. It's hard to think about. Ah crap! We're lagging behind. Let's go !"
Raphael jogged ahead, waving Tamaki over. As Tamaki ran to catch up, he was thinking hard about the dream he saw from Haruhi.
The question that baffled the archangels now baffled Tamaki.
Was Haruhi trying to leave the archangels?
"Woah, these guys are hot!"
"Do you think I have a chance?"
"Jesus, they're walking this way!"
A multitude of female voices sang praises to the very attractive male archangels. Even Mila and Chloe, who were dressed like men. They were walking with a type of swagger that few males possess. As usual, Mila was acting like an idiot, prancing around, blowing kisses, finger shooting people.
"Ah, Chloe! These silly mortal girls will throw themselves at anyone who is extremely attractive. We could be axe murders, but heaven, if we're pretty they're trying to get in bed with us. Same for the guys.", Mila exclaimed. She sounded slightly disapointed, as if she expected more from these mortals.
"Well, when we look this tempting, it's kind of hard not to resist our good looks. They're even falling all over our brothers." Chloe replied, poker faced.
It was indeed true that ladies were falling all over the 'real' male archangels. The female twins were trying to sell pictures with the boys, even Mila and Chloe.
"Do we have any requests? These lovely men will be in town for four days, so don't worry if you haven't gotten your picture with them. Now we are taking requests!" Ayaka yelled, giggling and drooling over the profits they had made.
The Host Club, which stood to the side, did not like to shown up. So Hikaru yelled in a feminine voice, "Please take of your shirts!" in italian.
The Two girls weren't even Mildly fazed. They took off their shirts, revealing...A SIX PACK? Well, that's what Chloe looked like. Mila was evenly toned, which was pretty hot.
And the town square exploded with bloody noses everywhere.
"T-They're just like the girls in Japan...", Mila stuttered. The other Male archangels started to peel their shirts off, which Chloe replied to with a,"Stop! You're going to kill them!"
Raphael walked over to Mila, and felt her stomach. "When did you guys cast the spell?" he inquired.
"It was while I was falling off of the cliff, and I think Chloe changed when she went to the bathroom." Mila replied. She turned to Chloe, and asked, "By the way, which bathroom did you go inside anyway?"
Chloe smirked, and said,"Wouldn't you like to know?" A sparkle appeared by her right eye as everyone face palmed.
Haruhi had little blue clouds floating off of her head. "I'm contemplating whether or not to ask you how you did that. However, I fear for my sanity." she said, practically fainting for the third time in the past three days.
"Our original verisions actually looked like this. Pretty sweet huh? I look so much hotter! Plus, I get an extra super awesome power when I'm like this!" Mila exclaimed.
"What is it?" Haruhi asked curiously.
Mila grinned, and saw that some of the girls were getting over their nosebleeds and started to sit up or stand. The little Devil walked up to Jeremiel, and said, "Man, I can't help it. It's so wrong, but I can't ignore these urges. Jeremiel, what have you done to me? I was an honest man, but you..." She blew into his ear, which made him shiver. She planted as kiss on his neck, and-
WHOOSH!
Once again, noses exploded, and you could vaguely hear the culprit say, "That's why the call me Mila-Twice-Kill." in a macho voice.
(That was for all you yaoi lovers, I guess. Happy anniversary!)
As the sun was setting in the background, the Group arrived at a little village at the beach. There were beach houses, which sat in the sand and looked extremely pretty. There were seven in all.
Eventually, the two girls changed back into their original genders, and Chloe severely scolded Mila for almost killing the mortals.
"Those innocent ladies did not deserve to suffer through that! And Jeremiel, you should have stopped her!" Chloe yelled, banging her fist on the table in the main house. Mila was on her knees, several spells and seals surrounding her.
"Look, I know I did wrong, but did you seriously have to put all these spells and seals on me? I can feel it slowly sapping my strength." Mila complained, slumping.
"This'll sap most of your energy so you won't try to pull anymore reckless pranks! You should think twice before you do something stupid like that again!" Chloe shrieked.
The white haired teen sighed, and her silver eyes darted around. "Ugh, fine! But it was just some harmless fun. Besides, those humans need to learn that looks aren't everything." Mila exclaimed. She then closed her eyes, and let the golden boundary come closer to her.
Raphael was leaning against the wall, watching the barrier. "Watch what you're doing, Chloe. You know what happened last time with the barrier."
Chloe scowled, upset with what Raphael had to say. "I know what I'm doing! Besides, Mila can't pull that little trick out of her hat twice unless she wants to summon him."
Jeremiel was glad that the Host Club was out of the room at the time, because they would have been flooded with questions right now.
"Well, I definitely would try that trick again, but then you'll have my head, whether I'm here or not." Mila sighed, lightly poking the barrier, only to have her fingers slightly burned. Chloe glowered, exclaiming that Mila should treat the ancient barriers with more respect.
Mila threw her hands up in the air, sighing in exasperation. "You see? Every last one of us are like members of the Legion. Respect, Honor, Duty, Discipline, Not going on Sugar highs, that's all that matters! No wonder the Reapers have more fun than us!"
"You know exactly why we're like this! We can't trust those Reapers with Humanity's life force! We have to be the bigger people here, and protect humanity from those fool-hardy nitwits! And I do not care if Lucifer will have my head. He's a crazy old coot as well!" Chloe huffed.
Jeremiel's eyes flashed in warning. They all knew the consequences of invoking Lucifer's wrath. No one wanted to relive the battle of 1256.
Chloe brushed his gaze off, scoffing at the threat. "So what if he hears? I'm so tired of cleaning up messes that these people make. It's practically their fault that Mila is the way she is!"
"We don't know if the reapers actually started all of this, and that is why I didn't mention it when I told the Host club the story. The reapers are good people, and I feel like sometimes we're no better than them. We lie to each other, saying that everything is going to be ok, but it won't be, because one day I'm going to turn on you, and one of you guys are going to have to plunge the knife in my heart." Mila declared, daring anyone to speak against her.
A period of silence followed, sobering the group. Chloe lost all her anger, now being reminded that her best girl friend was possibly kill the rest of her family. But Mila was right in so many ways that she couldn't possibly be wrong. One day, Chloe may very well have to plunger a sword through Mila's heart, to save the rest of humanity and her family. But there was one little possibility, one tiny hope...
"You of all people should know that there is a way Mila. There's no guarantee that it will work, or that he will grant it to you, but there is always a way", Raphael began passionately, not willing to give up on their family's most deranged member,"you can always ask to be reborn."
A plate crashed on the ground. Jeremiel had been fiddling with a plate of mangoes, when he the plate all together. Chloe gasped, considering the option. Why hadn't they seen this before? Why hadn't they questioned this theory?
Mila smiled a soft, bittersweet smile. It was filled with hope, only to be crushed by reality.
"You know very well that I can't do that. It would be to terrible."
"Why is that? Seems like a pretty reasonable idea to me." Jeremiel said cheerfully, finally happy to find an idea that would work.
"First of all, that little spell would turn me human. Well, a full human this time. Second of all, once I'm human, I'll still be a raging sociopath, because the sickness has already found its way to my heart. I'm using all my willpower to keep it at bay. I could really hurt the humans, and I don't want that. I just want to be happy for the rest of my days before this sickness consumes me and makes me try to kill all of you."
The silence was deafening. Jeremiel slammed his hand on the table. "Dammit. Why do you always have to be so damn insightful!? Just for once, let us try and save you! Do you think that we're just gonna let you go like that? You may think that you are doing us good by giving up, by quitting! But instead, you're hurting us more than ever. You're supposed to be the one who helps lady Micheal, to return her memories. So no matter how much you think you need to leave and save us, we aren't letting you go Zachariel!"
Jeremiel stormed out of the room, leaving four shocked archangels behind him.
"So, they finally let you out of that barrier?"
The night air was cold, and the waves crashed against the rocks. Mila was in town, standing in a back alley. Her wings were out, the torn one fluttering slightly in the breeze.
The unknown woman sighed. "You know, you can always ask Lucifer to help you out now. It wouldn't be that hard, considering that the man upstairs is ashamed of you."
Mila laughed in a cold, twisted way. "You can say that again. But I'll wait until this whole 'war' thing is over. You can tell Lucifer that I'll see him soon."
The woman smirked. "You do know how to leave everyone in suspense. I bet that the poison in your heart is already leaking out. I'll send your regards to Lucifer...and Ithuriel."
Mila started at that name, her eyes widening. "W-What? Y-You don't mean..."
"Yes honey, he's been changed. Turns out that your old man didn't keep his promise," the woman turned, her red eyes shining in the light. Her orange hair fluttered in the wind, as she said, "Now who's the bad guy now, Zachriel? But I know that Ithuriel will be happy to hear from you. And, as a little present from my lord, Ithuriel will be at the ball. Au revoir, ma petite reaper angélique."
The woman turned on her heel, and stalked away. Mila looked at the wall in front of her, and said, "Au revoir, 어머니."
Chloe was staring out on to the beach, listening to the waves crash. Her eyes watered, remembering their family's true mother, the one who had raised them with Mama. Tears began to spill from her eyes.
Suddenly, a blur of orange and glowing red flew by her window. Chloe summoned her sword, tears gone from her face.
Chloe whispered, "I knew it."
The woman's cruel laughter rang out, and surrounded Chloe in it's sound. "Eh bien mon petit, tu m'as appelé. Mais il semble que vous ne avez aucune raison pour moi d'être ici. Donc, je vais prendre mon congé. Beaucoup d'amour, ma fille."
Chloe cried out, stabbing at the blessed glass as the woman danced on the beach. The glass did not crack. A final smirk graced the woman's face, as the ground opened up. Chloe shrieked, screaming fro the woman to face her. The woman fluttered her fingers in a half wave, and jumped.
As the ground began to close, Chloe stopped stabbing and cutting at the glass. The tears were back, and Chloe yelled, "You fucking witch! You stay away from my family! And if I ever see you again, I'll personally cut your heart out, just like you did to us!"
But Chloe could her hear cruel laughter, and the woman saying, "Fine then. But you will see more of me, dearest. The days that come will hold much sadness, to the point were you will sob your heart out. War is coming, girl. I hope you are prepared to lose."
As Chloe looked to the sky, the moon stared back, hard and unforgiving.
"While I prepare to fight, you prepare to die, Mother."
Oh shit just got personal. Shit. Just. Got. Personal.
Now, this is where things begin to get really badass. So y'all better prepare for the worst, because I got some real tragedies planned.
