In fact SO MUCH has changed in the series that this fic is really outdated and I don't even know where to put it in the timeline or what to include anymore. Gilbert has possessed Francis and Sam and Dean are still on the road and trying to get there as fast as they can. Arthur asks why Gilbert is doing this to them, and he tells him (/span/span/span/span/span/span/spanspanspanspanspan style="font-size: 11pt;"spanspan style="background: transparent;"insert well thought out reason here.../span/span/span/span/span/spanspanspanspanspan style="font-size: 11pt;"spanspanspan style="background: transparent;"). He lets out a dark laugh and Arthur notices the knife in his hand but it's too late. Gilbert uses Francis's hand to stab Arthur straight through the heart just before leaving his body and letting Francis see what happened. Arthur collapses into his arms just before telling him he loves him and dies for good this time.
