Skul and Total
part 2
"How the hell did this happen?!" Valkyrie yelped.
"You make it sound like I know what's going on." The skeleton, or rather the dog spirit inside the skeleton of a dead mundane detective, licked his sleeve then whipped his skinless face. He struggled a bit when the clothe got stuck between his boney teeth and ripped the delicate fabric while frantically trying to remove the whole jacket.
"Ohh, Skulduggery is going to get you now, whoever you are." Valkyrie's eyebrows squinted.
"Just where am I anyways?" Total asked.
"Just who are you and what have you done to my burger tax payer?" Valkyrie asked oh so worriedly. "Am I gonna starve now? Quick! Look in his pocket, do you see a wallet?"
Total looked at the quirky girl. He tried to pant his tongue but for some reason he couldn't. He looked in the mirror of the Bentley. Total's eyeless eye sockets grew tenfold. "Do you think there is enough to buy both of us a hundred burgers each," the skeletons lip quivered and Valkyrie's heart instantly melted. "Oh poor little guy, I hear Skulduggery's so rich we can buy the whole resturant! Come on!" They got in the car with Valkyrie in the drivers seat.
I would drive," Total said. "But I never had apusable thumbs before," he wiggled his skeletal fingers.
"Don't worry, I've seen Skulduggery drive before. I'm sure he has insurance the way he drives incase I crash." She laughed.
