Main Street, Sunnydale
October 31, 1997
Elsewhere, Cordelia's house had been totally destroyed by Zod and Regime Superman. Cordy herself had watched as they flew up, up and away to take their fight elsewhere, before continuing to run for it.
And even though Faith didn't know it, Twilight had started blasting lightning bolts at Dawn, causing her to cry out in pain and make her body glow dark green color. The Slayer had her hands full dealing with Spike and his gang.
"A new Slayer for me to kill, eh?" Spike grinned, putting out his cigarette. He took a swing at Faith. She ducked, grabbed his arm and threw him onto the ground, before starting to tear into his minions. She killed three before the rest decided to run for it.
"You're on your own, Spike!" one of the vampires said, before they vanished.
"Why didn't the previous Slayer kill you?" Faith asked Spike, as she landed a foot onto his chest and the battle started up again.
"Well, the blond bint does have a thing for vampires. She's dating my grandsire, apparently!" Spike answered her question with an evil smile on his face.
Spike grabbed her by the leg as Faith did a side kick, and tossed her to the side. "Bloody Slayers!" Spike grunted, as he picked up the stake that she'd dropped…
Elsewhere, Twilight continued his torture of Dawn.
"Please, stop!" Dawn cried out in pain, wishing in vain it would all stop and this guy would go away.
Finally, a strange-looking orb full with the Key energy appeared out of Dawn's body. The young girl passed out as her body stopped glowing dark green. Ignoring that, Twilight grabbed the orb from the air into his hands.
At once, he felt his soul being ripped out from his body. But as his soul left, it started to get a body of its own, somehow. Twilight fell to his knees in pain, both from the Key's arcane energies and the removal of his soul.
Finally, the soul of Harry James Potter became flesh. He watched Twilight twisting in pain. Then he looked up and sees Dawn passed out, tied up in her chair. Using inhuman speed, he freed her and both of them left the warehouse.
Elsewhere, the conversation was not going well...
"Okay...whatever your name is. Are you going to help me find Buffy or not?!" Willow asked, with a hopeless look on her face.
Bellatrix walked past her and said, "The name is Bellatrix Black Lestrange, ghost. And Buffy Summers is a Slayer; she can take care of herself!"
Leaving Willow behind, the witch muttered to herself, "I have a chaos mage to find. If I want to stay in this body, I need to take care of this spell, so it doesn't wear off where I'm concerned. Sorry, Xander, but I plan on staying. Family or not, I'm not going back to the Underworld!"
So saying, Bellatrix made her way towards town. Not far away, Willow watched her disappear into black smoke and sighed sadly. "Darn. I might have lost Xander, but I'm not going to lose Buffy!"
Moments later, Willow met up with Cordelia and Buffy, and they made their way to Buffy's house; the closest safe harbor. Like Xander, Buffy wasn't acting like herself, which annoyed Willow no end. Plus she was no help at all to them. Buffy finally calmed down some, and then Willow answered Cordelia's questions on what the hell was going on around here.
"So, let me get this straight; Xander's become some kinda witch named Bella-whatever, and he got a sex change too?!" Cordy burst out laughing. Tears came streaming down from her eyes from laughing so hard.
Willow sighed and rolled her eyes. "This isn't funny, Cordelia! Xander's been torturing and killing people! Or, or at least the person he's been possessed by has been doing it!"
Cordy finally stopped laughing and nodded, at last beginning to see the big picture here. Then a vampire crashed through the back door of the kitchen.
"A monster, a monster, someone do something!" Buffy cried out in a panic.
Luckily for all three girls, Angel showed up just in time and killed the vampire…
