hey guys! i feel like a terrible person because i meant to post over spring break but i was so busy i couldn't and then i got this terrible writers block. but here i am now. i wrote this in 2 parts to split it up so this is part 1 and part 2 will be posted within the next hour so i hope you enjoy! :)
"What the hell was that?" Thalia asked the obvious question. "I have no clue" Luke said and started getting up "Where are you going?" I asked and Luke smiled "It's almost curfew and Thalia and I need to get back to our dorms." He pointed to me "You are being kept here overnight but they'll release you tomorrow morning." He noticed my frown and smirked "On the bright side you'll have plenty of time to catch up on your work." Thalia opened the door and head out "See you tomorrow Annie." "See yu Thalia," I called in her direction "Luke, could you put my bag next to me and pull the hospital table over?" He smiled, "Sure." Then he slipped out the door.
The clock struck midnight and 12 chimes sounded from the clock. The entire infirmary was silent with the exception of the quiet rustling of my pencil on paper and text book pages turning. As it is the only light I had was the small lamp on my bedside table. The nurse had left me alone while she's in her office. Probably sleeping, and judging by the quiet snores I hear coming from that direction I believe I'm right. Around 10 she had locked the door to the outside so I'm stuck in until morning. But no one can get in either so I was comforted.
That is until I heard the squeak of the knob turning.
