Chapter 10: The great escape
"Ok. You know that plan?" Aiden asked. Louise nodded. They had found an unoccupied room and Aiden had explained his plan. Somehow without being awkward. Considering what had happened only a little while ago. Aiden and Louise left the room and made their way back to the dungeon. Louise told the guards that no one was to know of their visit and walked down the stairs. "Hey guy's!" Josh called as if they were the most exciting things he had ever seen. "Quiet down will you?" Louise hissed. "We have a plan on how to get you and your sister out of here." Aiden said to him. Caitlyn looked at them confused. "Why would you want to help me escape?" Louise furrowed her eyebrows. "Why wouldn't we?" Caitlyn smirked. "You don't know do you?" Louise's face fell."Why don't i know anything?" Aiden rolled his eyes. "What don't we know?" Caitlyn sighed. "I was the one who killed Oriel." Louise made an 'o' face.
"So what?" Louise said. Caitlyn's head snapped up to her. "What do you mean? So what?" Louise shrugged. "Well that was ages ago. I'm sure you've learnt your lesson." She then poker faced and pointed to Josh. "Plus you can't be as bad as him." Causing Josh to let out a hurt. "Hey!" Causing her and Aiden to laugh. "You're too trusting you know?" Louise shrugged. "Too be honest. I've known about Josh's plan for a while and i want in." Louise smiled. "Good the more the merrier!" Aiden looked around. "Wait. What plan?" Louise turned to him. "Oh. Right. Josh wants to take over hell. You know make it better." Aiden turned to the demon. "You sure?" Josh nodded. "Alright. I'm cool with it." He smiled. "Yay!" Aiden sat down. "Now here's the plan."
"Guards!" Josh called. Aiden was infront of Caitlyn's cell trying to break the lock. The guard outside ran in. "Oi! You!" Apon hearing this Aiden quickly got to his feet and ran out of the dungeon. Louise was waiting by the entrance in a little cove that was carved into the wall. When the two passed to reached out her hand and nabbed the keys from the guards belt. When Aiden and the guard was gone she stepped out and headed back down the stairs. Aiden lead the guard out of the dungeon and turned around. He got out his whip and flung the guard into a wall. Then flung him into the other guard knocking them out. He then chucked the two into an empty room and ran off the the meeting point he had organised before hand.
Louise ran down the stairs and straight for Josh's cell. She took out the key and unlocked the door then moved on to unlocking Caitlyn's. "Ok. Now we need to head back to my room, where we'll meet Aiden and finish the easy part of the plan." Josh and Caitlyn nodded and they all ran out of the dungeon. They made sure the coast was clear then made a run for Louise's room. Leaving a cloud of dust in their tail.
Louise opened the door and entered to see an anxious Aiden pacing. As soon as he heard the door open he ran over and hugged Louise. "Oh. Thank you!" Louise giggled and hugged him back. "Ok. Aiden you lead them out and i'll go and get the others." The red head nodded and brought the siblings back outside of the large room. Louise left the room soon after and checked that it was clear. She then went into the dark throne room and walked over to the pedestal the book of angels was lying on. She gently picked up the book and placed it in the bag she had picked up from her room earlier. She then turned and made her way to the boy's room.
"Don't take another step." She heard her fathers voice call. She turned around and saw him standing with his sword to Aiden's neck whilst a guard had his to Josh's. Another guard was restraining Caitlyn and the other boys were standing behind them all. "Now sweetheart. Why would you betray the man who gave you life. Huh?" Louise looked around panicked. Aidens plan had failed and now she had no idea what to do.
"Now where do you think you're going?" Louise's father snarled. The angel glared and stood her ground. "We're leaving." Her father glared. "Why are you bringing two criminals with you?" Louise scoffed. "One of them is a criminal. And still, it's not even her fault." He growled. "Louise stop." She set a hard glare on him. "No." He was so furious you could practically see steam coming out from his ears. "Louise, Aiden she can't escape. She killed Oriel." Aiden struggled more. "But it wasn't her fault. Her father forced her to. She wants to join us." The king looked down at Aiden. "What do you mean? No one is leaving. You are all staying here, you were meant to come here so Louise could come home." Louise looked at him. "I'm sorry but we have a mission."
The wind began to pick up around Louise, even though there was no windows or doors open. "And i am determined to finish it." Light enveloped her and she transformed. "Even if it means getting past you." Her father stared at her shocked. "Louise..." Aiden whispered. But she ignored him and concentrated on the man infront of her. "YOU SHALL NOT-" Bang. The king fell to the floor face first. They all looked up to see Daniel with a frying pan in his hands. Louise smiled. "Wait to go." He smirked. "I think i'll keep this." Aaron looked around. "We should go." Everyone nodded and ran throughout the castle towards the entrance. "We made it-oo!"
Louise had ran to the entrance when Aiden pulled her behind a corner. "Wha-!" "Shh! Look!" He pointed to the entrance which was full of soldiers. "Godamnit." The others came and hid with them. "Ok what do we do?" Daniel asked. "That?" Aaron asked. They all looked towards the entrance where they seen Josh and Caitlyn fighting there way through the guards. "Seems legit." Louise smiled. Aiden laughed and they all ran off to fight. Josh used his scythe to cut through the guards stomachs. Caitlyn used a long whip to capture some guards and throw them into eachother. The whip clicked and a scythe head came out from one end and she too began cutting the guards stomachs.
Louise charged forward and used the hilt of her sword to wind every guard she ran past. Aiden grabbed one of the guards with his fire whip and pulled them in a circle to whip out the group that had surrounded him. Demetry based a guard in the head with his hammer then threw it so it hit a guard about to grab Louise, it then flew back to him. "Thanks!" She called. He nodded and went back to fighting. Aaron stabbed one in the stomach with his air blade and Daniel, standing behind him sliced diagonally threw a guards chest with his water chainsaw.
Louise had just knocked a guard down when one was coming up behind her. "Louise!" Aiden shouted. He used his whip to grab her around the waist and pulled her away. The whip pulled her away from the guard and towards Aiden. She came hurtling towards him and he caught her around the waist. "Thanks." Louise said breathing heavily. They were currently face to face, Louise lifted a little higher because of Aiden holding her. "No problem." He said softly. Louise's mind went back to a few hours ago, the kiss. She felt her cheeks flush at the closeness. "Aiden-" "OI!" They turned to see Josh. "Hurry up you idiots." The two blushed and let go of eachother.
They all burst through at the grand doors. "Phew. We made it." Louise breathed. Everyone was panting. The remaining guards were stepping closer to them, trapping them against the door. "Hey Louise-" Josh was cut off when he turned around bumped into said angel making her drop the book of angels. It landed on the floor with a thud and the book fell open. A light shone from the book and surrounded them. "What?" Louise screeched. The light faded and they had disappeared along with the book. The guards stopped advancing and stood in shock. "Where are they?!" The king roared as he entered the entrance. "They just disappeared sir." The king glared at the spot where they had disappeared. "Louise..."
