Everyone noticed the eyes of Troy Bolton, they were at their bluest when he wore a piece of blue clothing on his upper half or he was engaged in something which he loved but he believed that was only the case because his eyes got wide when he was interested in something. Some people loved his blue eyes and some thought they were too blue but as he had gotten older their blueness had decreased in intensity but they were definitely more blue than the average blue eye.

These eyes were currently shut as he sat at the back of a lecture theatre as the most boring lecturer continued to rant away in his mono-tone voice to the half-asleep class. He had either noticed that he was sending to students and didn't care or he was the most obvious person Troy had ever come across. Fighting the urge to keep his eyes open as he knew if he let them close for more than a couple of minutes; he'd be asleep.

Troy was never normally this tired or this bored. He was bored well mainly tired because all he wanted to do was climb into bed and sleep off the horrendous hangover he had been lugging around with him for the entire day. It was around half six in the evening and he had pulled himself out of his apartment after missing the first lecture of the day at nine. So he was bored because this was the last thing he wanted to be doing is listening to a monotone man talk about complicated stuff for the past hour and a half.

"Rough night?"

Troy was slouching back in his chair with his arms crossed and tilting his head and nodded, smiling politely at the girl who sat a seat away from him, "Long night," He corrected, turning back to face the front even though he wasn't paying attention one bit.

"Boring class, huh?" She commented again.

Troy looked at her again. He noticed she was a pretty girl, quite quiet he noted the couple of times he'd seen her, not the fire cracker Gabriella was, "Yeah. All I want to do is crawl into my bed and sleep," He whispered with a tired smile.

The girl softly laughed, being carefully to keep quiet, "I'm not much for going out to clubs," She shrugged.

Troy raised his eyebrows and pursed his lips a little, "They're ok. Good for the single people." He grinned.

The girl nodded, "I've seen you around. My friends like to go out so I go with them and I saw you a couple of times in summer," She told him with a slight blush covering her cheeks.

Troy grinned a little more, "You should have come to say hi,"

The girl gave him a look, "Please, you wouldn't know who I was and you seemed pretty preoccupied,"

Troy gave her a sheepish look to the first part of her comment but brushed it off when he came to reply, "How so?" He asked, frowning, aware of the headache pounding in his skull.

"With a girl, actually girls. I saw you a couple of times with the same one and then for the rest of summer different ones each time,"

Troy's brow raised.

"Sorry, I sound like a stalker," The girl laughed quietly, shaking her head, "I thought you had a girlfriend,"

Troy shook his head as the image of Ben leaning over Gabriella's drunken, vulnerable body to reach her plush lips came into his head, "Nah, we had a thing but that's done with now."

The girl nodded slowly, not wanting to pry into his personal life but she remembered seeing him dancing and kissing the girl while she was at the bar and they seemed very into each other so she couldn't help but let the next question slip from between her lips, "May I ask why?"

It was obvious to her that Troy was debating that for a moment as he rolled his tongue against his bottom lip, "She hooked up with another dude, an ex or something, while we were… doing what we were doing."

"Ouch." The girl said, "Sorry."

Troy smiled a little, "It is what it is," He shrugged, "What's your name?" He asked, desperate to change the subject as he knew Gabriella would be on his mind for a long time if they started to talk about her and that would make his headache worse.

"Lola."

"Troy. Nice to meet you," He said before nodding at her and turning back to the front of the class, feeling the pounding in his head intensify as he looked at the bright board. He let out quiet groan and rested his head on his arms, blocking out all light and making the voice around the classroom and especially the one from the speakers quieter.

"I never should have gone to that class." Troy grumbled as he started walked into the living room with his backpack and his shoes still on.

"Hey man, no fun?" Chad smirked and shouted back to him.

"No," He answered bluntly, rubbing his bloodshot eyes and letting his bag drop to the floor just outside the door to the living room, "I just wanted to sleep and the guy was a fucking bore." He told his friend as he walked into the room and immediately stopped as he looked into the room, "Serious?" He asked after he received many uneasy looks from around the room. Troy turned to Chad, "Seriously?" He asked again, deadpanned. He didn't wait for an answer and immediately turned around, picking up his bag and made his way to his room.

It was a Friday and Chad had no classes on a Friday so he thought he would invite everyone around for a few hours before going out for something to eat and then possibly going to a club. Obviously Troy was not happy about his decision to invite a certain person.

Gabriella went to stand up and before anyone could tell her not to go to him because of the massive hangover he had and how annoyed he was with her still. She adjusted her top as she walked towards Troy's room and softly knocked in order to be polite.

"Troy?" She said as there was no sound from the other side of the door. She hesitantly reached for the handle and pushed the door open, for once glad that he didn't have a lock.

"Troy?" She asked again.

"What do you want?" He asked bitterly as he lay in only sweatpants on his bed with his cell phone in his hands.

"To talk." She said in a small voice as she stood by the door, leaning against the door next to it.

"Talk about what? Gabriella, the amount of time we haven't spoken this summer is at least twice as longer as what we had going on. Stop trying to make everything better. I told at the beginning that I wasn't taking any shit from girls, which is what you are. A girl. A woman wouldn't cheat on a man." He shook his head, not once looking over at her.

Gabriella took in a shaky breath, "You didn't let me explain. It could have been different."

Troy shrugged, "I gave you so many chances for you to tell me about you and him and what was going on and you both told me nothing was happening or would happen," He kept surprisingly calm.

"I didn't plan for it to happen. My head was so messed up and I told you before he knows what to say. He makes the bad, so much worse but you made it better."

"No," He whispered, looking over at her, "You made the bad, worse this time. It was you in the wrong," He told her darkly.

Gabriella tilting her head back against the wall, licking her dry lips, "I never meant for any of this to happen."

"But it did!" He growled, "God, you have no idea how much of an idiot you made me look!" He shouted, "Gabriella, I was singing you're praises to your dad and just hours before I saw you and that kid on that couch, I realised I loved you. Your dad made me realise I loved you. Fucking love, Gabriella. Now, flip that. You walk in, see me drunk, laughing with another girl, whispering in her ear, kissing her and then you find out I fucked her and you loved me. How would that make you feel?" He shouted, standing up from his bed and walking over to her.

"You loved me?" She whispered, his brows furrowed softly as she felt the sharp pain in her chest as he flipped the situation around.

Troy let out a deep breath, "It doesn't matter now." He shrugged, suddenly the anger in his body calmed down and he went to lay back on his bed.

"But you loved me?" She asked again, walking towards his bed.

"Gabriella," He shook his head, rubbing each side of his nose.

"Just answer."

"I don't have to answer anything of what you ask me."

"Just answer, Troy." She exclaimed, sitting on the side of his bed.

Troy watched her sit down with sadness now showing in his eyes which had replaced the anger. He noticed how good she looked and that annoyed him. He thought the girl in his class was pretty but she was nothing compared to Gabriella. Her black hair was down and in curls, falling down her back as she was half-dressed to go out later that night. She wore a black fitted dress which ended half way down her thighs and had areas of lace where her dark skin was showing through.

"Yeah."

"Yes, what?

"I loved you." He nodded, "I was very happy with you and fell quickly in love which I didn't realised until I talked to your dad," He told her quietly, "I wish I never did fall for you, it wouldn't hurt as much if we were just a fling."

"Do you still love me?" She asked, tilting her head, her hair falling to one side which Troy watched.

He ran a hand down his face and sat up a little more, "Yeah."

She bolding came to sit next to his thighs, her legs tucked under her as she raised on her knees, "I'm sorry." She mumbled, reaching out to touch his face.

"Stop." He mumbled, feeling her small, soft hand run slowly over his cheek and then into his hair.

"Please stop being angry with me. I made a massive mistake which cost me, you," He didn't say anything, just kept his eyes shut, "I haven't spoken to him. I don't see him around."

Troy's eyes snapped open and her hand fell from his hair, "And you expect me to forgive you just because you don't talk to him?" He asked, harshly.

"Let me explain everything." She asked, trying to connect their eyes, "Please." She added.

Troy shook his head slowly, "Not now. I'm tired. I have the worst hangover and we've just be shouting so my head hurts more."

"Ok." She whispered, nodding her head slowly.

Troy sighed and gave her a little smile before turning his lights off by his bedside and sliding down to get under the comforter, closing his eyes and trying to get some sleep.

Gabriella watched this process and debated what to do. Before her head to overtake her heart, she reached for the comforter and slid inside his bed. No movement came from Troy until she boldly pressed her lips to his back.

"What are you doing?" He asked, flipping over to lay on his back.

"Sleeping." She answered softly.

"In my bed?" He asked, not letting the smirk form on his face.

"Mhm," She answered, her eyes shut as Troy's head was turned to face her, watching her, "With the man I love, with the man I hope forgives me after I tell him everything that happen."

Troy swallowed as he heard her voice that emotional. It wasn't the most perfect scenario to confess their love for each other. As Troy's eyes roamed her face, she opened her eyes softly.

"Get some sleep. I'm going to ramble a whole lot when you let me explain. You need sleep."

Troy just simply nodded.

Gabriella propped herself up on her elbow and leant over Troy a little, "I love you, I hope you can forgive me."

Troy swallowed, never had a conversation tone gone from being angry and frustrated to loving and confessional, this quickly in all his life. He was shocked and he continued to shock himself as he leant up a little to connect their lips. They both moaned softly at the contacted as if they had been deprived of the other for too long, "I love you." He whispered.

"I can't hear shouting anymore," Brody commented as the group sat in the living area while they listened to the argument that was occurring between the two most unpredictable people they had ever met.

"Me either." Sharpay agreed.

"I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing," Liam mumbled.

"I think he's killed her," Chad said appropriately which gained a couple of amused looks and a little laughter.

They all completely stopped laughed as a groan and a pleading voice was heard, followed by a bang on the wall and another bang. Their eyes widened.

"No way…" Zeke said in amazement.

"Holy crap." Poppy mumbled.

"Ew." Sharpay groaned.

"My man," Chad laughed.

Another moan was heard but this one was more feminine and the banging became quicker and louder.

"I thought he wasn't talking to her?" Lucy asked with a frown.

"He wasn't." Chad answered.

"You know what their like, they have never been able to keep their hands off each other. The tension probably got too much." Sharpay shrugged, "I bet their having some intense sex."

"I guess Gabriella's not coming out with us so let's go. I can't listen to that any longer," Chad said and they all stood up and started to make their way out of the door, leaving the two who were now in the most complicated situation alone.

Troy's callous hand was slowly gliding over the shoulders blades who the girl who had just made insanely good love too. He was currently staring at the ceiling of his room while Gabriella's small hand rested on his chest, running her index finger down the line which his defined pecs had created.

"I have no self-control when I'm around you," Troy murmured huskily with a small smile and a shake of his head.

Gabriella moved so she could see his face a little better in the dark room, "Is that a bad thing?" She teased, licking her lips.

Troy couldn't help but smirk and shrugged, "Good and bad."

Gabriella let out a small moan when she lifted herself up to press her lips to his softly, "Do you want me to explain?" She whispered, looking into his blue eyes which she loved more than anything.

Troy nodded quietly and met her gaze, "We shouldn't have done that."

"What?" She frowned.

"Had sex. I've basically just let you walk all over me." He sighed, although he was slightly regretting sleeping with the girl, he was calm and wasn't angry.

"No you haven't," Gabriella said firmly, reaching out to rake her fingers through his thick messy hair, "You kissed me first, you took control of the situation."

Troy disconnected their eyes and began to look up at the ceiling again, "Yeah," He mumbled.

Gabriella's face turned concerned and she started to nibble on her lip, "I'm sorry," She whispered.

Troy shook his head softly, "You have such a hold over me. There's so many times where you've lead this thing we had going on. If I made a mistake, you decided whether or not to continue and even now, I just had sex with you after we spoke for like twenty minutes. I don't know if it's a good thing but I don't feel like we're equal."

Gabriella nodded, "I get that. If you do forgive me, I'd like to, not start over but just be more equal and get to know each other more rather than jumping into bed," She giggled as Troy smiled and agreed.

"In my past relationships, the girl has always been the dominant one and I just want to be equal with someone and trust them and love them and have a good, healthy relationship."

"I want that for you. I may seem incredibly selfish but I want to prove to you that I am a good girl behind all of the front I put on. That girl you talk about, the relationship, I want to be your equal and have a strong relationship with. The idea of you being with another girl makes me feel sick. So, I'm sorry that I did that to you," Gabriella spoke as never let their gaze fall, trying to convince him that she was good beneath all of the bravado.

Troy let out a deep breath, "I'd have to talk to Ben if I did forgive you."

Gabriella nodded, "Of course."

Troy nodded and wrapped his arms around her securely, pulling her higher up his chest, "Explain it to me."

Gabriella swallowed and her face went from relaxed to fearful, "Are you sure? I've already hurt you enough."

"Gabriella, tell me. Everything. No lying, no hiding. The complete truth because that's the only way I could ever think about forgiving you. You know I told you at the beginning that I don't want to take any more shit off girls but you're you. Be honest with me."

The look in Troy's eyes made Gabriella crumble and nodded her head slowly. She knew that her only shot with Troy would potentially happen if she was truthful and there were no more secrets or lies between them.

"Ok," She took a deep breath, "Where shall I start?"

"The start, when me and your dad left."

"Ok," She repeated, again taking another breath, "So you both left, Poppy left. We, me and Felix started talking and he was telling the reasons behind why he wanted to do this and why he put off telling me. We got into a massive argument because to him I wasn't being understanding and supportive and I told him that I couldn't just let him go like I did with Sam. Felix started saying that I've never let him go and I've never grieved and it escalated and I told him to get out. He left and I was crying and Poppy wasn't there and I knew you were with my dad. I called the next person who I thought could make it all go away because I knew if I called Brody he'd try to get me to understand Felix's point of view and at the time I didn't want that. I wanted someone who would just agree with what I was saying so… I called Ben."

Troy's eyes shut briefly as he took a breath, "Gabriella," He shook his head.

"I know, ok, I know,"

"In the future, if we ever argued and I walked off, you'd call him?"

"No. I know it's hard to believe but I haven't spoken to him since that day and I've made that mistake so many times, that I know I can't do that anymore. I only want you."

Troy didn't reply either verbally and through his body language, "Carry on."

Gabriella nodded, "So he came round and I just remember him agreeing with everything I was saying and it was nice because I knew everyone else would try to get me to see sense. He brought alcohol, how I don't know. I just kept talking and talking, I never wanted anything to happen, I didn't call him to have sex. I just wanted to ramble and for the person to agree. I didn't want someone talking sense. He kept agreeing and offering me alcohol and so I eventually got drunk and all I remember is him sweet-talking. I don't remember you coming in the room or kissing him or… having sex with him."

Troy nodded, sitting up in his bed and pulling the sheet to cover him, "The next morning?"

Gabriella leaned over the side of the bed before continuing, if search for an article of clothing but couldn't find anything but her dress and his sweatpants.

"Here." He held out a t-shirt which was his pyjama top if he ever got cold and he kept under his pillow.

"Thank you." She slipped the fabric over her body and moved to straddle him, over his sheet, "I'm sorry."

"Continue."

Gabriella nodded, "So the next morning, I woke up and I don't know, I just knew it wasn't you next to me. You always hold me even if we don't go to sleep that way. I always used to wake up and you'd be there with your arm around me. It wasn't you so I started to freak out and got out of bed, threw on some clothes and just got him out of the apartment as soon as I could. I didn't even realise the time when I started to call you and I guess you know the rest. I felt awful because of what I did to you. It was my fault not Ben's."

Troy shrugged, "No man should ever sleep with an insanely drunken girl because when she sober she may not have given you consent. However, I saw that you were both smashed."

"Yeah," She agreed, she played with the bottom of the t-shirt before looking up at him, "I'm sorry. I wish I could take it back. I never wanted to hurt you."

"I believe that. It's just hard because don't they always say that the truth comes out when you're drunk. Is your truth that you still like Ben, I don't know."

Gabriella shook her head, "I don't have any feelings for him. People stupid stuff, I probably do more than the average person but I really was trying to be the best person I could for you. I'm so incredibly sorry that I hurt you, that I did what I did."

Troy slowly nodded and left his head fall back to rest against the wall, "I don't know what to do now."

The petite, beautiful girl just sat quietly while straddling his lap. To Troy she looked smaller than she normally did and that thought did make him crack a small smile but then he was hit by all the information she had given him and it hurt a little more than she had initiated it. He was glad she didn't lie about anything, well he thought she didn't.

"Is that everything? The complete truth?"

Gabriella locked her eyes with his, "Yes, that's the 100% truth," She told him.

Troy didn't moved, he simply looked into her eyes, trying to see if she was lying to him or hiding anything which related to that situation.

"Troy," Gabriella whispered.

"I think you should go," He said in a monotone voice with an emotionless face.

Gabriella didn't speak for a minute as she looked at the man who was obviously in deep thought. She wanted him to forgive her so badly therefore she simply nodded and climbed off him and his bed before collecting her clothes and heading to the bathroom.

Troy sighed and slouched in his bed as he watched her walk out of his bedroom. It hurt more than he thought it would to hear her describe that night that had being playing on his mind for weeks. It hurt to hear that she was the one to invite him to her apartment and basically started the whole thing. It also annoyed him as they were doing so well and having such a good time together and for something like that to happen, just irritated him.

Gabriella appeared in the doorframe again in her tight black dress which snapped Troy out of his thoughts and he gave her a small smile.

"You can borrow some shorts and a t-shirt, if you'd like," He said.

Gabriella sent him a sad smile and shook her head, "It's ok, thanks though. I'm just gonna go."

Troy nodded a little, "Alright. Thank you for explaining everything."

"You're welcome," She paused, "See you around."

"Yeah, bye," He said slowly and watched as she waited a moment then turned and walked out of his bedroom and out of his apartment but there was a pause and Troy guessed that she had seen Chad. He waited until he knew she was gone before he pulled himself out of bed, tugged on some sweatpants and headed into the kitchen where he knew Chad was every morning.

"Hey dude," Chad said without looking up from his cell phone.

"Yo," Troy greeted.

"Gabriella's just gone."

"Yeah, I sort of told her to leave."

Chad's head shot up, "Why?" He asked, slowly.

Troy shrugged, walking over to make himself some coffee, "She told me everything that happened that night with Ben and it hurt more than I thought and I just need to think."

"You fucked her last night though?" Chad frowned.

"How do you know?" Troy asked, surprised.

"We all heard last night," He laughed.

Troy winced before speaking, "Sorry," He muttered.

"So why did you kick her out?"

"I can't trust her, man. She fucked me over and ran to Ben at the first problem after saying she wasn't interested in him. It wasn't even a problem between us. We weren't even together. What happens if we got together and argued and she stormed off? How would I know she wouldn't be with him?" He asked.

Chad ran his tongue over his teeth briefly and shrugged, "I guess that's where you both have to trust each other, get all of your issues sorted instead of pushing them back. Life's short man. If you love the girl and want to be with her, sort things out before it's too late. Probably talk with Ben too. If you got together, tell him to back off. But ultimately, relationships are all about trust and fairness."

Troy nodded slowly, "Probably shouldn't have fucked her last night." He said with a distant voice while staring off at the cabinets lining the kitchen walls.

Chad let out a chuckle, "Nothing wrong with a bit of angry sex."

Troy's eyes went back to Chad as he smiled, "Probably made things worse."

"You did have sex with the girl and kick her out the next morning. A few weeks ago you were pissed at her for leaving before you woke up." Chad smirked as the realisation slid over Troy's face from within.

"Shit," Troy mumbled, "I started everything last night which makes things so much worse."

"Huh?" He questioned.

"Ben must have rubbed off on her, in more ways than one, she can be a real sweet talker," He chuckled darkly, shaking his head, "I kissed her first," He added.

"And you told her to leave." Chad added, earning a joking glare from Troy.

"And I suggested sex."

"You suggested sex?" Chad asked, his nose wrinkling, "Do you not just do it?"

Troy rolled his eyes, "Like I was the one who took it to more than kissing."

Chad nodded, understanding now as his mouth formed an 'O' shape, "Details?" He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.

Troy gave him a look and shook his head, "What do you want to hear? We were trying to hold off until you were gone but it was that intense we couldn't."

"Nah, I'm good. Don't want to hear about intense, just the good bits. Flexible? Little tricks? Positions?" Chad listed off, as a typical male would, well as typical Chad would. He could switch from being sensible and deep to shallow and sex obsessed.

Troy let out a loud laugh, "Dude, I tell you a few details about the girls who mean fuck all to me but this one is different so I'm keeping it to myself."

Chad grumbled, "Kick a guy when he's down."

Troy frowned, "Why are you down?"

"No milk. Dry cereal, no one like dry," Chad said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world and then smirk, "No one likes going in dry, get it?" He chuckled.

The tall man stared at his best friend, "You have a dirty mind." But nonetheless laughed at the joke.

"Yep," He grinned.

Troy picked up his forgotten coffee and took a gulp of the semi-warm liquid, "What do I do about Gabriella, dude?"

"In what sense?"

Troy shrugged, "In general. Do I just leave it? Tell her we're done and watched her prance back to college, probably not speaking to her for a few months. Do we start a fresh? Act as if it never happened and start again. Or pick up where we left off? Because we we're good together and I love the girl." He questioned, extremely confused and annoyed that he was in one of these situations again.

Chad finished pick at his cereal and pushed the bowl away, "I think that the fact you are debating this means you want to start things up with her again."

Troy looked down into his mug as he swirled his coffee around, "Maybe."

Chad nodded, "I think you do, you're just worried about what everyone will think. Troy goes back to the girl who has done a number on him again."

Troy frowned, "No. Gabriella is completely different to Olivia."

Chad shrugged, "I like her."

"Me too," Troy chuckled.

"But how do I trust her again? And do we start things again or continue them?" Troy questioned, feeling a headache emerging just thinking about his love life.

Chad shook his head as if to say he had no answer for him, "That's something you and Gabriella would have to decide."

Troy stayed quiet for a moment, "Do you think it's crazy that I really think that girl could be the one that I marry." He mumbled, not looking up from his mug, avoiding Chad's wide eyes.

"What?" Chad asked, shocked.

He took a breath before looking up at his friend, "I really believe that if I give things another shot with her, I'll end up marrying her. If I choose to forgive her, trust her, be with her, she'll be the one I'll marry and the one I'll spend my life with." He spoke, calmly.

Chad raised his eyebrows throughout Troy's little speech, "Really? How do you know?"

"I just know. I'm gonna marry that girl." He said, definitively.

Chad gave Troy a smile, "That's what they say; when you know, you know." He shrugged.

Troy grinned, biting down on his lower lip before the smile faded, "I just need to figure out how to forgive her and start to trust her which is more difficult when she lives an hour away in traffic and with Ben around."

"I think you need to talk to him."

Troy nodded, "I think so too."

Troy's leg was bouncing as he sat outside on a bench. The bench was situated just up the beach, on the first bit of concrete where the sand had trailed up. He looked out at the ocean with a pair of dark sunglasses on, waiting for his company to arrive. He truly was regretting what he had decided to do the day prior. After his conversation with Chad, they had gone to the gym before he contacted Gabriella and asked her to meet him the next day before she drove back that night to be at college for the Monday after. He had also, secretly managed to find Ben's cell phone number and asked him to meet him here, not caring if he would have to travel half an hour to get here.

"Troy," A small voice spoke next to him.

He was snapped out of his thoughts and looked up at the girl next to him and gave her a small smile, "Hey."

"Hi," She whispered, taking a seat next to him.

"Thanks for coming." He told her, taking off his sunglasses and hooking them onto his t-shirt. She copied his actions is it was around six o'clock in the evening and due to the slightly dull day, sunglasses were no long needed.

"Why did you want to meet?" She asked, tugging her light zip up around herself a little more as the ocean wind blew into her small body.

"To talk. I'm sorry for yesterday, I shouldn't have kicked you out, that was heartless." He apologised.

"Troy?" Another voice questioned as he came to an almost halt in front of the two.

"What are you doing here?" Gabriella asked, frowning.

"I invited him. I wanted to talk to both of you together." Troy told her.

"Why?" She asked, standing up, feeling a little small and vulnerable sitting them next to him.

Troy copied her actions, "I love you so much. I love being with you, spending time with you and I want to be with you more than anything." He told her, coming to stand closer to her and pushing her long hair back off her shoulder.

Gabriella nodded, her arms crossed as she gulped, "I love you too."

"But I can't. Not when I don't trust you." He didn't specifically say he didn't trust her because of Ben because he didn't want the nineteen year old to know he thought of him as a threat.

"Ok," She nodded.

"And you," Troy's voice was hard as he turned to face Ben, "Do you have any respect at all?" He asked, "You lied to my face then fucked the girl I was dating."

Ben shook his head, "Dude, you two weren't dating, you were fucking around."

Troy's eyes turned dark as he narrowed his eyes at him, "I was taking her on dates, I met her family, I went out to breakfast with her father, she met my friends, she hung out with my girl friends. We weren't just fucking around."

"But you kinda were." Ben shot back.

"Man, I didn't ask you to meet me here to beat you to a pulp so please stop being a jack ass. You had sex with her when you knew I was interested in her, you saw us together, we were dating. I specifically asked you if you were interested in her and if there was anything going on and you told me no, you two were just friends." Troy told him.

Ben sighed, "We were. She won't speak to me now. Thanks by the way, I lost a damn good friend because of you."

"Because she knows she did wrong, she's trying to prove to me, you're nothing to her. I don't think it's a loss for her though, you're not a great friend."

"Why's that?" Ben laughed.

"You don't fuck a girl who's practically with someone, dude!" Troy roared, stepping closer to Ben, "The reason I asked you about you're thing with her was because I'm a decent guy who doesn't get involved with a girl unless she completely single and has no interest in anybody else."

"If you wanted her as yours, you should have claimed her. She was pretty willingly that night so I feel that you're not satisfying her needs." Ben smirked.

Troy looked back at Gabriella and turned to face her, lowering his forehead down to hers, only just reaching comfortably, "I'm gonna hit that kid in a minute, I swear." He whispered, taking a deep breath.

"Don't," She whispered back, cupping both sides of his face, "He's doing this on purpose. Please don't let him get to you."

Troy swung back around, "Why did you try to get her drunk and into bed? Is that the only way you can get girls? Get them hammered? She was a state when I left her and you took advantage of that. Do you have no morals at all?" Troy shouted, pushing Ben in the chest.

"Like I said, she was willing. You don't satisfy her, bro."

Troy turned to Gabriella once more and then looked at Ben, "You have no idea what me and Gabriella are like. I asked you here because I wanted to sort this out. To understand what happened and to ask you to back off but you had to be a dick, didn't you."

Ben simply smirked, staring into Troy's eyes before looking over his Gabriella to see Gabriella frowning with worry at the two and winking at her, "You enjoyed it didn't you sweetheart?" He stated.

Troy's jaw clenched, "You are such a little boy with no morals, no respect. You really need to back off and do girls who aren't involved with other people."

Ben chuckled, "You just hate that she loved it, she was the one who called me, came to me with her problems, fucked me."

"How did you sleep with this kid, Gab?" He asked, while staring at Ben, his jaw clenched, "How did you not want to knock him out instead of fucking him?" He asked again, but this time looked over his shoulder before turning to Ben, "I never want to step on a guys toes to get a girl and I especially hate it when guys try to step on mine. Back the fuck off. Leave her alone and leave any other girl who even slightly has an interest in someone else."

"You're afraid of the challenge."

Before Troy knew it, his hand had balled into a fist and was quickly slammed into Ben's face and he moved his other hand quickly to hit his stomach to make him curl over. The perks of working out all summer meant he had gained some extra strength and power. He grinned as he pressed the sole of his shoe against him and pushed him onto the ground. He would deny that he was glad that he had gone down so easily as he wasn't much for physical fighting. Troy looked at him on the ground and suddenly realised how small the guy was compared to himself.

"You need to learn to keep your mouth shut. Dick, " Troy spat, walking away from him, walking angrily towards him car.

Gabriella had watched Troy hit Ben in shock, unable to move. She watched as Ben tried to stand up from the solid punches, he was not expecting Troy to hit, just a few verbal insults and they'd be done.

"You can't say you didn't think that was coming," Gabriella whispered before running after Troy, looking back at Ben, pausing before continuing her run, "Troy!" She shouted, trying to catch up with him as quick as she could before he could get into his car and drive off.

Troy let out a long breath as he leant against his car, running his hands through his hair and gave a slight tug. Feeling the tightness in his hand, he bought it away from his head to examine.

"Troy," Gabriella said again, coming to stand in front of him.

Troy shook his head briefly, lifting his eyes up to meet hers, "I meant what I said. I can't be with you."

"I know," She murmured as words felt like a needle pricking at her heart, "I wish you could."

"I wish you didn't sleep with him," He shrugged, "We don't always get what we want."

Gabriella frowned, "You can trust me, I'll show you."

Troy tilting his head a little, "I just don't think either of us are ready for a relationship, especially between the two of us."

Gabriella took a bold step closer to him an wrapped her arms quickly around his neck, pulling his face down to hers and pressing many firm kisses to his lips, "Stop," She mumbled into his kisses.

Troy didn't kiss back at first but frowned a little and started to kiss her back, wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her up closer to him, "It would be so much easier to resist you if you stop kissing me!" He grumbled with a chuckle as they pulled away but only slightly.

Gabriella smiled, "I'm not giving up on you."

Troy's smile widened a little more, "I don't want you too."

"I don't know what to do to make you trust me," She questioned, sliding her neck down his neck and to around his waist.

Troy moved his arms so his hands were slowly moving up and down her upper arms, "Just give me time to trust you again."

Gabriella nodded, slowly, "She couldn't ask for any more than that, all she wanted was for her to gain his trust again and then they could see if what they wanted to do could go ahead or not. If they were too try again, Gabriella wondered whether they were start from the beginning or not. What she was most concerned about though was that they had spilled their hearts out to each other within such a short space of time and although she was putting up a strong front and showing him she wanted to try again, she felt so vulnerable. But for once, instead of feeling vulnerable and run away and completely pull away from the person, she portrayed herself as strong and only pulled Troy closer but the question was, would Troy do the same?

I want to apologise in advance for any mistakes. I haven't had time to read through it because I've been studying for exams. Hope you still enjoyed it and please review.

Ps, if you haven't already noticed, I've kept the previous chapter up as all but one of you wanted.
