PoV: Amy Rose

"…you."

As the words left Sonic's mouth, my body seemed to be frozen solid. I felt all the heat leave my body. I tried to move, but I couldn't. My vision started to get dark until I couldn't see a thing. I know my eyes are open, though. I tried to speak, but my mouth was glued shut and my vocal cords frozen. I started to lose conscious, but I don't know why. I could feel myself fall to the ground before everything went black.

PoV: Sonic

I wish I hadn't told Tails and Ames about this. For one thing, Amy just fainted. For another thing, Tails kept looking from me to Amy and back at Amy repeatedly with a shocked expression.

"What do you mean Amy is the cure?" Tails asked, clearly confused.

"I mean that what the note says fits Amy's description perfectly. And who else do you think could possibly have the cure?" I pointed out.

Tails apparently sill didn't understand what I was saying. "I get that, but how can we be sure that Amy is the cure?"

He had a point, but I had an idea. "You could run some tests on us." I knew it was risky, since they could find out my secret. But I had to know if she could cure me. I want at least one less problem with my life.

"Okay, but I'm gonna need some DNA samples from both of you."

PoV: Amy Rose

(In Amy's dream)

What happened? Where am I? Ow, I think I hit my head on something. All I could see was darkness, then a huge flash of white light covered my vision for a split second. When the light disappeared, I was on a bed. It looked like I was in a bedroom, with a dresser, a desk with shelves above it, and a single window on the wall. I didn't see any sign of a door.

I got up off the bed and walked over to the window. I looked out to where the moon should be. It looked weird. It wasn't white, like it should be. It was red, like blood. I looked down and saw the ground. Except it was about ten stories away from where I stood. I thought I saw something blue out of the corner of my eye. I turned around and was met by a punch in the face. I fell back against the window sill. Squeezing my eyes shut, I held my muzzle in pain. I could feel tears of pain in my eyes starting to form, but I refused to let them fall. I opened my eyes enough to see a dark blue figure standing in front of me, an evil smirk stitched onto his face.

I gasped when I realized who the figure was. No, it couldn't be… "You…" I whispered.

He had an evil look in his white glowing eyes. "Yep, it's me, Amelia. I would like for you to meet an old friend."

A figure stepped out of the shadows. It looked like… Her! That girl that was on all of the walls in my nightmare. How did she get in my dream? I don't even know her!

The white hedgehog smirked, her ruby eyes seeming to glow. "Amelia, I see you've finally got the sword." Her expression suddenly changed to a very dangerous one. "Now, give us the medallion." What medallion was she talking about? The only medallion I know of is Sonic's.

"I-I don't have it," I said.

"Then where is it, exactly?"

I looked at the dark hedgehog next to her. He was frowning at me. I saw something shine under his muzzle. I looked closer and realized it was the same moon medallion that I gave Sonic. I pointed at the navy blue hedgehog. "He has it."

The girl looked at him and back at me. Her ruby orbs started to glow very brightly. "You're lying! Sonic doesn't have any medallion with him." Now her hands were starting to glow, too. She must have some serious anger issues! "Tell me or you will die!"

"No."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" He voice shook the room, I think.

"I said no."

"Oh. Very well then. I guess you have a death wish." Her entire body and dress started to glow red and she started to charge a ball of what looked like chaos energy along with the dark hedgehog, who was charging up a ball of dark energy. They aimed at me and shot.

I screamed.

(End of Amy's dream)

I sat up and screamed at the top of my lungs. My forehead was sticky with sweat and I think I was crying. I opened my eyes to see that I was sitting on a chair with Sonic looking at me with a worried expression.

"Ames? You okay?" He asked, worry stitched across his face.

I wiped the sweat off my head and rubbed off the tears. "Y-yeah, I think so." I said quietly. What was that dream all about?

"Ya' sure?" I nodded.

Tails walked into the room then. "Hey Amy! Glad to see you finally woke up." He seemed so happy considering he just found out that Sonic was a werehog last night and that his sister-

My eyes widened when I remembered her. "Tails, did you call the police yet?" Tails' face changed into a worried one as he realized he forgot about his own sister.

"Oh crap! I'll be right back!" Tails ran out of the room. Now that I actually took a look around, I realized I was sitting on a chair in the living room. I looked at Sonic, who had a puzzled look on his face.

"Why did Tails have to call the police, exactly?" he asked.

I sighed. "The police found his sister. If anyone knew anything about who she was had to call the police. He must've got caught up in what you told us." He nodded in understanding. I started to stand up, my legs a bit shaky from my nightmare just a few minutes ago.

"Anyways, why did you scream when you woke up?" I stiffened up at Sonic's question.

"I-it was just a bad dream," I said.

Sonic arched an eyebrow. "Just a bad dream, huh?" He crossed his arms. "Amy, if it were 'just a bad dream', you wouldn't have screamed bloody murder."

"Okay, a nightmare," I said nervously. He still didn't look convinced. He gave me a look that said, 'Tell me what's wrong'. "Fine. I'll tell you." I told him everything that I could remember, which was most of it. I gave so many details I could almost swear that Sonic was visualizing it as I talked. As I finished explaining what happened Tails came back into the room with a grin that seemed to split his furry white muzzle.

"Hey Tails. How'd it go?" Sonic asked.

"Pretty good. I'm going to go get Miley. She just woke up a bit ago." Tails said happily.

"Can I come and meet her, too?" I asked. It would be cool to meet Tails' sister.

"Sure!"

"You guys go get her, I need to go out for a while," Sonic said and headed out the door.

PoV- Tails -1 hour later- Police Station

Oh, I can't wait to see Miley again! It's been so long!

As we approached the police station, I got more and more excited. When we walked through the double doors I ran right to the front desk. A purple bat that looked to be in her mid-thirties sat behind it.

"Hello. What do you need?" The lady asked kindly.

"Hi. I'm Miles Prower. I am here to see my sister." I stated.

The lady checked her computer and looked back at me. "Oh, yes. Fill out this paperwork and we'll bring her right in." she told me and gave me a clipboard with a bunch of papers on it and a pen. I filled out the papers and handed it back. The bat took then and picked up the phone on her desk and called for Miley. When she put the phone back down she looked at me. "Your sister will be here in a few minutes. Why don't you and your friend take a seat," She motioned to the benches near the front entrance.

Amy and I walked over to the benches and sat down. I looked at Amy. She looked horrible. Her skin was slightly paled and her eyes were still a bit red from crying earlier and her head was still sticky with sweat. She seemed nothing like her normal self, and neither does Sonic. In fact, they've been acting so different since their anniversary.

A door near the desk opened and out came a golden fox with lilac eyes. My eyes filled with happy tears. Miley was right there. In the flesh. No hologram or ghost. Real. I ran to her and hugged her tightly. She was a bit surprised, but quickly returned the gesture.

"I missed you so much, Miley…" I whispered as I buried my head into her hair.

"I missed you to, Miles," She said. I felt something wet on my shoulder. I guessed she was starting to cry. We pulled away from each other and wiped our tears off our muzzles.

"Where's Mom?" I asked.

Miley looked around and back at me. "I can't tell you now, but I will later." She whispered so only I could hear her.

Amy walked up to us. She offered her hand, which Miley gladly took and shook. "Hi. I'm Amy Rose. I guess you're Miles' sister." She introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you, Amy. My name is Miley Prower."

Sonic came in through the doors then. "Hey Tails! I see you found your sister!" He looked at Miley. "Hey, I'm Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog! Nice to meet ya'!" He shook hands with her. He seemed more like his old self again.

"Nice to meet you, Sonic," Miley greeted. "My name is Miley Prower." I guess she didn't mind that Sonic called me by my nickname.

"Cool!" he complimented.

"Thanks," she told him.

I had to interrupt the moment they were having. "Uh, Miley. We need to go." I grabbed her hand and started toward the exit. When we got outside to the sidewalk, I released her hand.

"Why did you pull us outside, Miles?" Miley asked. I felt nervous briefly, but I didn't know why.

"We need to talk."

Back with Sonic and Amy- No PoV

Amy looked at Sonic. She had a slight frown on her face. "So, where'd you go?" was all she asked.

Sonic scratched the back of his head. "Well, I went to see an old friend of mine."

She crossed her arms. "Uh huh, did you? You've changed, Sonic. In fact, when you met Tails' sister, you actually started to act like your old self again. But now you're back to how you've been lately," Amy walked up to the azure hedgehog and put her hand on his shoulder. Her jade eyes looked into his emerald ones. "Why is that?"

Sonic broke eyes contact with her and looked around. He looked back at her, a hint of nervousness hidden in his eyes. "I promised you I'd tell you, right?" the pink hedgehog nodded. Sonic looked at the ground. "I wish I could. It's just too indescribable to say."

Amy understood what he was saying, but still didn't understand something. "But why did you start acting normal again when you met Miley?"

Sonic shrugged. "I dunno. I just felt like myself again. But when she and Tails left, I felt like I have been lately. Strange, isn't it?"

Amy nodded. "How about we go out and get something to eat? Maybe we could go to McDonald's," she suggested.

Sonic's eyes brightened up some. "Sure!" He picked up Amy. "Hold on!" He zoomed off, leaving a blue and pink blur.

PoV: Miley, Park, 30 minutes later

Miles and I were sitting on a park bench eating ice-cream. I had a mint chocolate chip one and Miles has a double fudge one. We were just watching the kids play on the playground and in the sandbox. There was a public pool nearby and I was thinking of visiting it after I finished my ice-cream.

"Hey Miley?" Miles asked.

"Yeah bro?" I said.

"How did you come back? I know you were dead. I watched you and Mom die," I knew he was going to ask that. Twin instincts, I guess.

"I don't know how to say it. Let's see… Well, uh, you see… It's hard to explain but… Godgavemeasecondchancebecauseitmightkeeptheworldfrombeingdestoyedandtohelpkeepyousafe!" I was out of breathe by the time I finished.

"What?" He obviously didn't understand a thing I just said.

I sighed. "I said that God gave me a second chance because it might keep the world from being destroyed and to help keep you safe. I don't know what He meant by that, though. Mom, I don't know why He didn't let her come back," Miles looked a bit sad after I said that. I understand why. He wanted to see us both alive, not just me. "C'mon Miles. Let's go to the pool for a while," I said and started to pull him off the bench.

As I pulled us over to the pool, I realized something: I didn't have a swimsuit. I face-palmed myself for not remembering this sooner.

"You don't have a swimsuit, do you?" Miles asked. I shook my head no.

"I think my friend Cream might have a swimsuit that you can borrow," He said. Who is Cream?

"Thanks, but I think I'll just go and buy one. But maybe we can bring this 'Cream' girl with us to the pool," I told him.

"Good idea," He said and started guiding me to her house.

5 minutes later- Cream and Vanilla's house

"Okay, we're here," Miles said as we approached a small house with a rose garden in the front yard. He knocked on the door.

When the door opened, we were greeted to a cream colored rabbit with a caramel highlight on her forehead and chocolate eyes. She had long ears tipped with that caramel color and her hair was shoulder length. She was wearing an orange strapless sundress with a blue necklace shaped like a flower and she had some orange and yellow flip-flops on her feet.

"Hi Tails!" The rabbit greeted Miles. First Sonic called him Tails, now this girl, too. Why are people calling him that? I guess I'll find out later.

"Hi Cream!" Miles greeted back. So that's Cream. She seems like a nice girl. "I have someone you might like to meet. This is my sister, Miley."

I waved at Cream. "Hi…"

"We were wondering if you want to go to the pool with us," Miles told her.

"I would love to!" Cream agreed.

"But I need to buy a swimsuit," I reminded Miles.

"You can borrow one of my swimsuits if you like, Miss Miley," Cream offered.

I giggled a little. "You don't need to call me Miss, Cream. It makes me feel old," I told her. "But thank you for the offer. I'm not sure I could borrow one…"

"I don't mind if you borrow one. Why don't you to come inside," Cream said and led us inside. Her home was cozy, only big enough for what looked like two people to live in. There was a small red couch and a TV with the news playing on it. The wall were painted a soft violet color and had photos covering them. Some of Cream, some of her and Miles. There were a few of an older rabbit that looks like Cream, I guess it was her mother. There were a lot with that lady with Cream. In some photos, there was a small blue and yellow chao with a red bowtie in the background.

"Where's Miss Vanilla, Cream?" Miles asked.

"Mom went out to get some groceries. She doesn't mind if I have any friends over. Especially you, since you're the nicest kid I've ever met," Cream explained. She looked at me. "Come on, Miley. I'll show you my room so we can find you a swimsuit," The rabbit started to pull me up the stairs into her room.

Cream's room was kind of small. The wall were painted an orangish-gold color and her doors were white. There was a small dresser next to her bed.

Cream ran over to her closet and grabbed about five swimsuits from it. She spread them out on her bed. One swimsuit was violet and red striped. Two were blue, but one was polka dotted with pink and yellow, and the other with white. An orange swimsuit had some yellow splotches on it, and the final one I saw was sea green with an aqua stripe going across the side and a dark purple star in the middle. That was by far my favorite of them. I walked over to the bed and picked it up. It looked like it could fit me.

"You like that one?" Cream asked.

I nodded. "Can I try it on?" I asked.

"The bathroom is two doors down on the left."

"Thanks," I said and wen to try it on.

PoV: Amy, McDonald's

Sonic gave me my chicken nuggets and fries as he sat down with his Big Mac. He complained about there not being any chili dogs on the menu. I don't get why, though. Sure his favorite food is chili dogs, but he has to eat other foods now and then.

I looked outside. It looked to be around noon.

"Sonic?" I asked.

"Yeah Ames?"

I swallowed a chicken nugget. "Do you think you'll turn into a werehog tonight?"

Sonic shrugged. "I don't know. I think so though. Why?"

I shook my head. "Oh, no real reason…"

Sonic put down his large sandwich. "What's on your mind?"

"It's just that…" I shook my head again. "I don't know what to think. So much has been happening lately. Finding out you're a werehog, having those nightmares, finding out that Tails has a twin sister? It's just so much to take in during such short amount of time."

"Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been in stuff like that a couple of times before," Sonic said and took a bite out of his Big Mac.

"Like when?"

"Like when I found out that I had a brother and sister, and that my mom was Queen Aleena, which meant that I was a prince." Sonic covered his mouth after he realized what he said. "God dangit…"

My eyes widened. "Wait- you're the missing prince? No wonder the Queen looks so much like you!" I face-palmed myself.

"Please don't tell anyone about what I said. I don't want to be taken back to the castle again." Sonic asked.

"Don't worry about it. What you should worry about is the night," I reassured him.

"True that."

After we finished our meals, we decided to go for a walk, which Sonic detested at first before giving in. We walked through the park quietly, just enjoying the peacefulness of it. I saw the pool and thought I saw… Tails in a swimsuit? I stopped and looked closer and realized it wasn't Tails- it was Miley- I think.

"Is that Miley?" I asked no one in particular.

Sonic stopped and looked to the same place that I was, and nodded. "It looks like her."

"Let's go see," I said. Sonic looked at me, then at the pool with a look of nervousness in his eyes. I forgot about his phobia of water. "You don't have to go in the pool, Sonic. Don't worry."

Sonic gulped. "I'll be fine. You don't need to worry about," He looked less nervous, but his voice shook a bit.

"Well, then come on!" I started to pull him to the pool, despite him trying to get out of my tight grip. We paid to get into the area and walked over to a picnic table.

Yup, I was right. Tails and Miley were both swimming in the pool. I ran over to them, making sure to not slip on the wet pavement. "Hey Tails! Hey Miley!" I yelled over the screaming of some of the little kids in the shallow end of the pool.

They surfaced a few seconds later and noticed me next to the pool. They waved at me and motioned for me to come in. I jumped in and swam to them.

"Hey Amy!" Tails and Miley said as I reached them.

"Hey guys. What are you going here?" I asked. I saw Cream swim over to where we were. I wonder when she got here.

"Hi Amy!" the rabbit girl greeted.

"Hi Cream. What are guys doing here?" I asked again.

"We're swimming," Tails said.

"Well I know that," I rolled my eyes. Then I took a look at what Miley was wearing. "Isn't that Cream's swimsuit?" I asked.

Miley looked down at her swimsuit. "Yeah, it is. Cream let me borrow it." She looked at the poolside and saw Sonic there, staring at the water cautiously. I knew that because I was looking there too. "Why isn't Sonic getting into the pool?" she asked.

"He's got a huge phobia of water," Tails told her. Miley nodded in understanding and started swimming toward my boyfriend.

"Hey, where're you going?" I called out to her as she swam away, and then I started swimming after her. I guess Tails and Cream didn't follow us since when we reached Sonic, they weren't with us.

"Hi Sonic!" Miley greeted.

"Hey Miley," Sonic said and looked at me. "Hey Ames!"

"Hey Sonikku," I said, using his childhood nickname that I gave him. "Why are you so afraid of water? I've been meaning to ask you that for ages."

He scratched his beautiful blue quills nervously and looked at the water. "I'm not sure why. I just am," I could tell he was lying because he didn't even look me in the eye as he said that.

I raised a brow at him. He noticed the slightly annoyed look in my eye and looked around. The shadows around us were getting long and the sun was starting to get a bit low in the sky. I sighed. "You are given mercy this time, but tomorrow, you tell me."

He sighed in relief. "Thanks Am-"

"Just go, Sonic," I interrupted him and eyed the orange sun. "You have to anyways."

He looked in the same direction I was. "Oh, yeah, I do have to go!" He started towards the exit. "Bye guys!" He called.

No PoV, with Sonic

As Sonic ran off, he noticed something. Why did I act so normal near her? Sonic thought to himself. Eh, probably just the water that I was near, nothing more. He ran straight into the forest.

Oh Sonic, don't conclude things you don't even know.

Said hedgehog stopped running and looked around. "Who's there?" he called out into the endless darkening trees, his voice echoing against them.

Silence. Not a single bird chirped. Not a single leaf rustled. Not even the lightest of breezes would whistle quietly through Sonic's alert ears. Heck, nothing even moved but Sonic.

He looked around with a bad feeling filling his chest. It was is everything was frozen. As if time stopped itself. As if everything was dead.

Sonic shook the thought out of his head. It was all just a hallucination. All these months. Every full moon. If he closed his eyes and opened them, everything would be back to how it was, when Eggman would make lousy inventions, and Sonic would be too cocky and almost get caught, but escape with perfect skill and agility. When his friends were able to trust his with their lives.

Sonic opened his eyes. He couldn't change the past, no matter how much he wanted to. The forest seemed to have unfrozen, at least. He kept walking, looking for a clearing. He didn't want to destroy the plants around him at sundown.

Don't forget the note that you have. Sonic stopped again. Who kept whispering to him?

"Hahaha, very funny. Now come out and show yourself!" Sonic yelled, his voice being carried by the wind throughout the forest.

There was no response again, but at least he forest didn't freeze again. Sonic shook his head and smirked. "It's official. I've gone mad."

He soon reached a clearing and saw that the sun was almost down. He closed his eyes and waited for the pain.

PoV: ?

I looked at my brother. "Is everything good to go?" He nodded, his bangs shaking. I still can't believe that we are about to witness this, him a second time. The sun was starting to go below the horizon, us knowing through the small patches in between the silhouetted trees.

A few seconds later, we heard a thud, followed by a groan. We looked over the bushes we were hiding in and saw the blue hedgehog squeezing his eyes shut and trembling on the ground. He held his head in pain. He groaned. His fur started to get longer and become darker. His quills became white at the tips and his skin became a pale blue. I noticed his shoes becoming cleat-like, with the white belt becoming a metal strip with three spike. He grew claws on his now large hands and his teeth became razor-sharp fangs.

I gasped slightly when he stood up again, and prayed he wouldn't find us. My brother held my shoulder and pressed a finger to his lips. I nodded and we looked over the bush, he noticed us from the corner of his emerald green eyes. We hid in the safety of the bush again.

I could hear his shoes crush the grass, louder with each step. I held my breath. The steps stopped.

I felt my heartbeat increase. I didn't understand why I was scared now. It was just the Hero of Mobius. He just looked different.

I looked at my brother, careful not to rustle the leave on the bush with the back of my head. He looked at me.

Don't worry, sis. It's alright, he thought to me calmly. I nodded slightly.

The bush started to part near the middle as a dark blue beast-thing looked through it.

Apparently he didn't expect us to be here. His eyes widen as he looked at us.

"Alexa? Aidan? Wh-what are you guys doing here?" His voice was so different.

I looked at him nervously and waved slightly. "Hey Sonic…"

Hey guys! I'm so so so so sorry for the wait! Over a month? That's way too long! I was grounded for two of those weeks, though, and one week was writer's block, and I have been typing whenever I could find time in between schoolwork and having ideas for completely different stories and not this one. I'm seriously sorry about the wait, but I gave you over 4000 words to read, so there you go. I am sorry for the chapters being all over the place lately, still can't find anything to put on here other than a bunch of shit.

Yes, I brought Alexa and Aidan back, there a problem with that? And I felt like Miley should have a story inside this story, even though I said she wouldn't be a big character.

You know who SEGA owns (hopefully), but little refresher, Sonic and his buddies don't belong to me.

I do, however, own the story and whatever OCs that appear within this story.

FYI: I will stat adding chapter names from here on out.
