Torment: severe physical or mental suffering
agony, torture, anguish, misery

"Jade?" She heard Seth's voice through the darkness.
"God, Jaden, wake up." He sounded upset, panicked.
She tried to force her eyes open.

"Did you find her?" Her twin brother's voice said.

"Room 315."

"Is she ok?" Husky asked.

"It's bad Wyatt. You might not want to come in."
Just then there was a lot of commotion, a door slamming hard against a wall.
The sound echoed in her head, and she raised her hand to her head.

"Oh my God! Jaden. Jade, can you hear me?" Husky asked.
"Get a blanket, cover her up." He yelled.

"Should we call 911?" Seth asked.
No! No one can know.

"no." Jade managed to say.
"no."

"Jade you have to open your eyes, or I'm calling."
She forced her eyes to open, not able to focus, she closed them.

"It's too bright." She mumbled.

"Who did this to you?" Husky asked.

"No one." Jade said, trying to make herself sit up. Seth reached over and helped her.

"Who was it?" Seth asked softly.

"I don't know." She lied. She reached up and wiped at the weird feeling of liquid on her face. She pulled her hand back seeing it was covered in blood.
"I need to shower." She said in a panic.
"I have to shower."

"Jade you need to get checked out. I think you were..." Seth's voice dropped off, as he looked over her body.

"I'm going to be sick." Jade said, trying her best to hold the sheet around her at the same time as trying to make her legs work.
Seth was right behind her, and Husky was quick on his heels.

"I'm calling Dad." Husky said.
Jade waved her hands at him with her head in the towel.

"She doesn't want that." Seth said.
"Why don't you go get her some aspirin, find a first aid kit and let me help her get cleaned up." Seth said, leading Husky out of the bathroom.
"Let me see if I can get her to open up."

"I swear when I get my hands on whoever did this, I will kill him." Husky said, walking away.

"Jade?" Seth's voice was quiet and kind.
"I'm going to start the shower for you."

"I'm sorry." Jade said, letting her body fall to the cool floor of the bathroom.
"I'm sorry." She sobbed.

"Baby, you've got to talk to me." Seth said, reaching out and touching her hip.
Jade let her hand rest on top of his for a minute while she tried to compose herself.

"Help me get in the shower." Jade said softly, letting Seth take her in his arms. As he helped her stand and get in the shower his shirt got soaked. He wouldn't let her go until he was sure she could stand on her own.
"I'm good." Jade let a soft smile cross her lips as she looked at Seth.
"You're getting soaked."

"I don't care. I just want to make sure you're ok, Jade."

"I'll be ok." Jade said.
"Can you go make some coffee?"

"Sure. I'll be right outside the door, just call if you need anything." Seth said, walking out of the bathroom, pulling off his wet shirt.
Jade waited until she couldn't see him anymore before she let herself sit down and cry silently.
