While exploring the dark ruins, Harry, Ron and Hermione stumbled deep within the pyramid, they awaken the Pharaoh who's been sleeping for countless years. Will Harry and his friends come out alive or will they fall under the curse?

Please take note, story will take place in: Order of the Phoenix while in Yu-Gi-Oh it takes place between the end of Yu-Gi-Oh the manga and Episode One of Yu-Gi-Oh GX, so… mush them together so you can enjoy this story.

MaxLovesYugiYami:

I've only recently started reading this, and I'm am enjoying it emencly. The only thing I have to complain about, is grammar. Sometimes it's difficult to understand what's going on. Other than that, I reaaaaaaaaaally wanna know when the Pharaoh is going to make an appearance in front of Yugi. XD

GOOD JOB! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad that you like this story. About the grammar, I totally, one hundred precent apologize. I knew chapter eight and nine were going to be out of their elements. So I will go back and edit them after I get done with this chapter. It's going be a slow process, even after all my time writing and getting better both in and outside of the writing fanfiction – I still lack and some area and should take time to fix that. Now will the Pharaoh make an appearance in from of Yugi… hmm… you'll just have to read to find out. :D

C (Guest):

Good story so far. Some canonical errors though. Electronics don't work at Hogwarts, and unless they're "mudbloods", most wizards and witches don't even know what a computer is, let alone seen one.

Thank you for reading up to this point. As I stated before I will go back and try to find and fix them. Ah the infamous electronics question. Yes. I will explain that one certain question, it's the longest reply I've given in a review so far... I'm sure you could probably spot it. The setup of the question fit with how I'm going to answer it. Again, I apologize for not explaining it here.

Also earlier you kept having the witches/wizards spelling with Expecto Patronum when that isn't even a conventional attack spell? I understand your reasoning in why it'll be important later, however, I find it odd that a witch or wizard would use the spell knowing it only works against Dementers..

Regarding that, Expecto Patronum is as you say, is not a conventional attack spell. From what I remember from my search it's a charm. In short, without giving too much away – basically Harry, Ron and Hermione are defenseless against the magic that Duel Monsters have. In a way I'm having Duel Monsters play the role of the Dementers, (not that this was much of a spoiler I would have told this to anyone who asked, if they knew what to ask for), but they are not effected by Expecto Patronum. That a serious problem, and although it's not being addressed now – it shall be when the time comes. So there is a reason why Patronum is being used in more of an attack manner but I promise you things shall come to light with the new things that came to light in this chapter... will this set up change? Well? *smirks* I'm not sure.

Hopefully that gives you something to think about and cut back some of your cravings on the questions. I mean it's been ten chapters – you would think I would have something solid…. Meh… ;w;

Otherwise though, interesting story and interesting plot. Creative ideas too. I'll be continuing my reading :)

Thank you very much. :) Your words are very kind.

Fromtheashtrees:

Thank you for the two-chapter update and review responses! It's great to have something to read again (nobody's been doing much recently).

You're welcome, happy I can help.

I think I can explain why everyone's confused about computers working at Hogwarts...on the Harry Potter wiki page on 'electricity', it states that "magic is known to cause interference in the operation of Muggle technology powered by electricity, rendering them inoperative". Therefore, with all the magic running around at Hogwarts, the computers shouldn't work, unless they've been specially designed to run only on magic. So...would you mind revising your explanation now?

(Sorry - I can be picky about these things.)

Also, I don't think Well, in short – for Innocent Corruption I didn't want it to fall into, 'Oh, let's go to the library and find information about these monsters that attacked us.' 'Oh look, here is the whole history of duel monsters right here!' – now I'm not saying all Harry Potter/Yu-Gi-Oh crossovers are like that, but from my time reading here on I have come across a lot and some of them are good, please don't take that the wrong way – it's just I wanted my story to be different.

Now of course I address these tropes (if you want to call them that, I'm going to use it just because it's fits the mass of the stories out there), but as you can tell I quickly have the Harry, Ron and Hermione not find a thing, I almost had Yugi quit (which he didn't of course but he settled back into his aiding job), something that I had planned to do from the beginning. Also I would like to point out, it's been so long since I written Innocent Corruption, things I've written in past chapters – I either don't like or it doesn't make sense, now what's done is done, I'm only going back to really fix anything but chapter eight and nine grammar errors – which I'll get on soon. So as your reading chapter 10 – keep in mind, it totally different than my first original plan of when I started Innocent Corruption. Will you guys ever get to read it? Probably never. Sorry.

Another thing as to why I had them have slow dial-up computers is because when looking at the two it was just more convent for me to use the setup of Yu-Gi-Oh then it was for Harry Potter, to be honest – I felt more restricted when it came to things like, 'Okay they're looking up information book are really the only primary thing they have even though 'mudbloods' have internet and then realizing that I had to incorporate the history of Yu-Gi-Oh, I realized that the Yu-Gi-Oh history would probably be as rare as seeing people selling ice cream during the middle of a freaking blizzard (okay, maybe a bit much, probably kind of extreme, combining these two worlds are not easy despite there being many crossovers out there.

Also I will admit, my book knowledge of the Harry Potter world is limited, and I looked towards the movies (whether or not you or anyone likes the movies is up for debate – I personally enjoy them), and the wiki and other websites for my information. Then I have to figure out how to combine it with things going on with the 'elements' of Yu-Gi-Oh. You can debate on whether or not I'm using the 'elements' of Yu-Gi-Oh because in Innocent Corruption so far there hasn't been one single duel. Most of the elements of the story in Yu-Gi-Oh revolves around dueling.

Now, that's probably something that some people would call: 'lazy writers'. For I'm not really using the maximum potential for both stories, if anything in some ways I'm probably holding them back. I personal would like to say it's because of a writer having 'lack of experience' – something I know I suffer from, even though I get better, there are still many things I can fix. It's something I'm working on to change that for future writings.

I just want you guys to know Innocent Corruption was written on a whim on changeling myself in my writing. In fact Innocent Corruption wasn't really supposed to catch on, I only kept going with it because you all liked it. You all thought it was interesting enough to read and stuck with me – so I kept on. And I appreciate every single one of you and I thank the people who read it but don't find it interesting enough to continue. The point of the matter is – you gave Innocent Corruption a try and well, I don't think I can thank God enough for every single one of you.

So there it is, I really don't have something from a story stand point, it was more from a writers stand point. I could have probably made this shorter, but I just really wanted to cover my bases and just explain – kind of where I'm coming from. I hope this answers your question with a whole put of free add-ons you may or may not wanted.

Although your explanation as to why the computers aren't used much is okay. Don't you just hate waiting for things to load?

I hate them with a passion, I will never go back to AOL again! xD

Ah well...I guess that's it from me...

...wonder if I can find motivation to get Chapter 3 of my own fanfic up before exams (which are next week)?

I wish you out most luck on both your exams and writings. You can do it. Just take a breath and let what you learned flow. (Oh my, I almost quoted Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal… ugh…)

Bye!

Bi-bye now!

PhantomBrat:

Awesome writings thus far! I love reading certain Yu-Gi-Oh! Crossovers but so far I love what you're doing with this particular crossover. Keep up the FANTASTIC work! By the way… where are Ryou and Malik in all this?

PhantomBrat

I can't thank you enough. I hope you enjoy this chapter and stick with me until the end. Also with Ryou and Malik – I know they are usually in a fanfic. (I already did my hand trying to write Ryou and Bakura. And, Malik and Yami Malik). As them coming into Innocent Corruption is all of in the air as of late. So maybe they'll come in – just don't be disappointed if I don't include them, now or later on.

Samira Vangola:

Continue.

Of course, I couldn't imagine why I would stop now.

THANK YOU ALL FOR WAITING FOR THIS LONG FOR A PROPER CHAPTER OF INNOCENT CORRUPTION. I DEICATE THIS CHAPTER TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!

I think the question make up more of the chapter then the actual content of chapter ten. I find it pretty amusing.

Also as a side note – I did try and fix most of the grammar and spelling in Chapter 8 and 9. If you want to go back and double check me you can if you want to. Just leave another review (if you can) or pm me if you still find errors. Thanks.

I have a poll going on my profile so hop on over when you're done reading. It shouldn't take you very long, at least less than a minute or two of your wonderful time. This might contribute to some 'side-stories/once in the blue moon' type stories. But, you don't have too.

This chapter is mostly a flash back chapter. I hope you all enjoy that, which spans over three characters point of view, (or at least I try to do that), so please enjoy that. If you guys aren't into the flashback thing to tell a story, I apologize but I thought I did a great job with it and I hope you all can overlook some grammar and spelling to take this chapter for what's it worth. If there is some spelling mistakes and such, please let me know.

Well with that said, let's jump right in!

Warning: Slight puzzleshipping (if you squint)

This chapter is also reworked with better spelling and grammar... to some degree. Enjoy. I only fixed more of the spelling and grammar when I realized I've made a simple mistake of one of the most easiest words... I couldn't let it go.

There was a flash of a blinding green light and a rushing sound, as though a vast, invisible something was soaring through the air. Yugi being thrown back by the sudden pressure of air and jolt that rose him off the ground and into the sky – flying behind and into the wall of the large ballroom area. The humid choked his lungs of clean oxygen, before slumping over. He could feel himself peel right off the wall, like if he was sticking to it for the moment. Hitting the ground, Yugi realized that something was wrong, very wrong. Yugi didn't feel the negative aura of the spell hit his skin. Static shock through his very veins, the humid temperature didn't help from getting shocked.

…. Was he even hit?

Or… did he make this all up?

In the background, although in Yugi's current situation, the shrieking voices were far away, yet like someone throwing a rock in the lake – it cause a ripple effect and soon – the shrieking voices hit him like a ton of bricks.

Across from him he could hearing taunting laughter of someone… something he has heard for a long time…

"FOOLISH PHARAOH! DO YOU REALLY THINK JUMPING IN FRONT OF THE AVADA KEDAVRAWOULD SAVE YOUR OLD HOST! MWAHAHAHAHA! I THINK NOT! THE LIGHT WON'T SAVE YOU NOW! NO LIGHT EVER WILL!"

A light groan left dry lips as Yugi focused all his strength to his arms to slid them up on the side of his head, having enough room so he won't hit his head, as he proceeded to push himself up. He knew that voice now… it took his brain a moment too caught up with the situation at hand, but now that he had a good idea who he was dealing with he knew how to handle it. Yugi never thought his life would be danger, but yet – with end, there was a beginning, and Yugi swallowed his bitter saliva as his memory back to him like a harsh storming wave to a shore.

Avada Kedavra, The Infamous Killing Cursea.

Yugi had heard humors… hell he even heard the horror story of when a teacher used the spell on a spider to give his class a better understand of the forbidden curses…

"There was a flash of blinding green light and a rushing sound, as though a vast, invisible something was soaring through the air — instantaneously the spider rolled over onto its back, unmarked, but unmistakably dead…" Yugi muttered reading the report out loud in his room. Stacks of large volumes of books and new clippings to even scraps of papers were covering his desk completely. All of that came from the library and the ones from the forbidden section - which was saved from the water and sand incident.

Yet, how did Yugi find himself dived into all this research?

Well, it all started with a dream he had over the past two weeks or so….

Within his dream, he tied up by invisible wire the dug into his skin and caused rough bleed as he watched asAtem, his friend engulfed in darkness… not just once, but twice, three times, four…

Yugi could remember the terror that spread across his friend's features, once crimson eyes, those eyes that matched Yugi, those eyes that were truly an aqua in his past life, went from dilated to something soulless. The color being drained from his rich skin to something of a pale corpse over in the matter of seconds.

Each time Atem would die, his death would change… the first time, Atem was just swallowed up by something that could match the Dust Bowl, the second time large hands squeezed him to death as blood gushed from his crushed body and exploded skull. The third time Atem repeated throw into the white ground as blood splashed all over, Yugi swore that blood got on him that night.

On the fourth night a green light came out of the darkness as Atem fell over, dead. It happened again, and again and again. By the time he woke up at the end of the first week, his could barely use his voice. He still left tired despite him looking very well rested to everyone who looked upon him. Even Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Speaking of which, Yugi saw them in his dream too. A white, (and what it seemed like to be), a pillow bag, yet it was glowing… Yugi wasn't sure what that was all about, but one thing was sure that he saw the screaming in sheer terror, unable to move because of fear. Because, something that they couldn't fight or control because it was truly out of their means of their mental and magical ability. It was just over whelming.

Yugi knew from the dream all of them were connecting in some way, shape or form, he had to figure out what it was. So on Saturday, he approached the trio during mid-morning as they were passing the halls. Yugi knew it was probably stupid and dangerous for asking the trio to meet him in the ballroom, (the room where all of Yugi's nightmares took place), on Sunday night because he had something he wished to discuss with them. By the look on their faces, at first they looked uncomfortable with the proposal, yet after a silent communication between the three, Harry looked up at Yugi and nodded to agree, saying that he would meet him there. From there Yugi world had been thrown in chaos once again.

Harry, Ron and Hermione that night was shaken up by Yugi approaching them during the day, seemingly out of the blue, wanting to talk in the ballroom. The look in Yugi was set blazing with determination. They agreed it would be a prefect change to ask Yugi about what he knew about Duel Monsters.

If you would have asked Harry, Ron and Hermione what they was doing with this night on Sunday, all three of them would once again blame Harry, even he would blame himself for this. If he wasn't carrying the pillow case will of Millennium Items, even though there was only three, none of them would have showed up. The 'realty' of everything setting into motion was too much for them. Special for Harry, considering what happened to Silent and Winged Kuriboh. As now, they only had the eye, the scale and the puzzle.

But, the real question was: Why did they have the items? Why weren't they in their room, when they could be sleeping? Where were Silent and Winged Kuriboh? Are they still alive? Why isn't wizard magic working again these Duel Monsters or its magic? Why did Light defeat the Pharaoh which was still chasing them after all this time…?

Well, all three of them were sure that Yugi couldn't answer that last question but they were sure Yugi could answer nearly all the rest.

It all started with a dream, which branched out and grew into a nightmare for all of them. Harry found himself shivering as the trio found themselves in the large ballroom only for special occasions, but tonight unseen life would shed. Every time Harry closed his eyes, he could hear familiar laughter followed by a light of green, Yugi flying back into the wall before slowly peeling off like a sticker, slumping over with lifeless eyes.

That flash of green is something Harry will never forget in his life, because he knew what it was… He knew it all too well.

Avada Kedavra.

Or, the Infamous Killing Cursea.

He remembered seeing it used by his teacher when he was class… the spider never had the chance to live out its life… Harry quickly put that out of his mind, gripping the pillow he had with a tighter hold. Harry wasn't going to lie, and he was sure Ron and Hermione felt the same, he was scared…no, he was terrified.

In the back of his mind, there was always a thought of the three of them being way in over their head, but what they saw when entering the ballroom was life changing. Before he could stop himself he heard him say,

"Yugi…" A tiny smile appeared on his lips when his name was called, although his eyes stared them down, even in the dim light, Harry could see a fire light, burning on little oil it had left, but it was just as bright as any raw passion.

"Thank you all for coming… I have some questions that I would like to ask of you."

"That's fine," Hermione stated before adding, "As long as you answer our questions as well." Yugi raised his brow, crossing his arms, leaning against the door, amusement filled his eyes but he didn't seem to degrade the trio for her statement.

"Alright then, please go ahead and ask me."

"… What do you know about the game called Duel Monster?"

"Quiet a broad topic, but in short – I used to play Duel Monsters… still somewhat do, but it's rare…" Yugi trailed off, muttering something under his breath before going on to say, "Maximillian Pegasus founded the game but over time the Kaiba Corporation took over and started producing the game. It all started about five thousand years ago in Egypt, no less. A game of terror as people who stumbled across the ruins in Egypt would call them."

"… I'm afraid I don't understand." Ron spoke as Yugi nodded in understanding,

"Yes, it a very hard concept since the information barely branches out of Japan, let alone America… but here…" Yugi shook his head, his glance to the floor, "Six chosen priests during that time, who guard the Millennium Items, as the Millennium items was created through terrible means, they served the Pharaoh and went trouble arose and went dealing with criminals, which summoned by the use of Ba – which is part of the soul of what the Egyptian believed. It was broken up into three parts. The ka, the ba, and the akh."

"…So what does that even mean?" Ron pushed, getting slight annoyed with this – all the information being pushed into his mind made mind spin. Yugi sighed and went onto say,

"The version of the three are now seen as this: The ka was essentially a person's double," it was the life force and at death it separated from the body. The ba, another spiritual entity was seen as a human-headed bird hovering over the deceased or exiting the tomb in the hieroglyphics, and was the part of the soul that could travel between the worlds of the living and the dead. And, the akh, another spiritual entity which "was the transfigured spirit that survived death and mingled with the gods. Yet in the term of Ka, and Ba of the Duel Monster era, to call it, the Ka are spirits that reflect the nature of the person that they come from. They are fueled by the energy of the soul, the Ba. Whenever you command a Ka you will lose Ba and if you lose all your Ba you lose your life. The strength of the Ba determines the strength of the Ka. With the Millennium Items, The Sacred Guardians – the Priests were able to seal the Ka of a person within a stone slab and would be capable of summoning and controlling them from the Shrine of Wedju, where they kept the monster locked away for later use."

"I see… that's amazing…" Hermione muttered, surprised at Yugi's vast knowledge… well he didn't get a degree in it if he wasn't at least this knowledgeable but, Hermione knew that his knowledge branched out much more than what they were hearing now.

"… You said you play Duel Monsters right?" Harry said after a long moment of silence, Yugi nodded once more, waiting for Harry to elaborate with his question. "… Do you have a card called Winged Kuriboh…?" Yugi's eyes nearly popped out of his head as he stood up straighter as Harry went on without acknowledging it. "Silent Magician Level 8…?"

"I have… they are my cards…" Harry looked at Yugi's stone face express as Harry started to shake,

"…Are they okay?"

"Are you three the ones that hurt them?" Yugi snapped, ignoring the boy's question, taking a step closer to them. Ron and Hermione backed up in that same moment, Yugi looked like he was going to snap their heads clean off, the aura from before appeared around him, waving off him like large wings about to send him flying.

"We didn't hurt them!" Harry shouted as Ron sshh'ed him, but Harry ignored him, "They saved our lives from other Duel Monster!" It was clear that Yugi wanted to slash out, deny every word that Harry spoke, but he couldn't with everything going on, denying that fact would probably lead to something worse. It took Yugi a moment to calm himself down and relax his stance and balled up hands that clamped around his arms. "… Like I said before, I just want to know if they are okay."

"… I don't know their exacted condition but I believe that they're healing." A sigh of relief left the trios lips, leaving Yugi slightly confused,

"W-we thought they were dead… other Duel Monsters came hurt them…" Hermione explained as Yugi lips tug in a frown,

"Duel Monsters can't die… they can… faint, for a better term and they need time to heal but die – is one thing they can't do. … Duel Monster… well Ancient Egyptian Magic is much different from wizard magic, but I'm sure you guys figured this out… especially with the forbidden section of the library incident…"

"How did you know?!" Ron cried, panicking, as Yugi let out a dry laugh, shaking his head.

"It took me a moment to figure out all the pieces but in light of everything in that we've talked about – you three are the only ones that's could possibly be in the middle of it… what Duel Monster did you three face?"

"… It was Mystical Sand." Hermione muttered, looking guilty, Yugi only nodded,

"If you think I'm going to turn you guys in, I'm not…"

"Thanks." Ron sighed, smiling at Yugi would returned a light close lips one.

"However, this a warning for all three of you." Yugi told them, snapping his voice to bring back the serious mode, no longer liking the light-filled one, "Whatever you are doing that somehow ties you to all of this, back away now and leave it alone. You don't know what you're messing with and as you can tell, you no longer have protections. I refuse to let my friends get in harm's way because of your actions – however I won't allow you to get yourselves hurt either."

"So… are you going to do?"

"Again, I'm giving you a warning if you want to live. Leave whatever you're doing that connects you to the darkness of the Ancient Egypt world alone. If you don't. You will not only face dead but your soul will never, ever find peace. Let your curiosity end, here and now-" Yugi never got to finish as dark laughter roared out behind him causing all four of them to turn towards the sight. At the other end of the ballroom, although what came out of the shadows was someone Yugi never thought he would see again.

"Yugi… simple, innocent Yugi… are you still trying to play hero… such a fool, such an ignorant fool… just like the Pharaoh… oh, please excuse me and my manners… how about saying hello!" Like something out of a horror move a demon of some sort rose from the ground, as it's large-sized covered the other half of the ballroom. Harry saw the out of… rage in Yugi's face, he's wasn't scared like he, Ron and Hermione, no – anger was the clear reason and it got worse upon seeing someone wrapped around the demons body, hands holding the someone it place.

"ATEM!"

Atem should have seen it coming… but it was much too late…

Stumbling in, Seto cursed all the while Isis winced from the harshness of his tone, knowing that curse wasn't for the harsh landing but for Isis stopping him. She quickly rolled off of him, missing his sudden attempt to reach out and grabbed her. His blue eyes burned with a new-found hate that seen only when he and Mahado had a spat. The tome was full of unspoken tense of anger, it blocked out the noises coming from the darkness that either greeted them or was talking among themselves ready to be called on by the Pharaoh.

Isis was sure now, Seto wasn't a match for them either, they were simply little children, barely adults and yet that had so much power – she honestly didn't understand. Yet, at the same time. She felt tired? Weak wasn't the word either, she couldn't figure out why her lack of performance was when she was healing, but she noticed that it took longer for wounds to even heal. She couldn't see the future – she honestly felt blind, when she could still see.

It took a moment to realize there was no one to greet them. She left Siamun to watch over Kalim, who should have at least greet them as he always did. Even Kalim now would have been up and around. Seeing Isis sudden change, Seto was quick to pick up her worries, together they walked to the Pharaoh's tome, only to see the Pharaoh himself up – his one crimson eye blazing with an unseen passion that Isis nor Seto seen for a while and another figure caught their attention.

"S-Shadi!" Isis cried taking a step closer to him as relief spread quickly among her features, Shadi who was on one knee before the Pharaoh, bowing rose his head – giving the female a small smile to reassure her that everything was alright. "Where is Kalim or Siamun? Have Mahado and Mana returned yet?"

"I'm afraid not…." The Pharaoh muttered, causing everyone to look at him again, Isis and Seto confused, although Seto confusion turned into annoyance,

"Of course those fools couldn't do one simple task."

"Seto!" The Pharaoh snapped before reaching up to rub the front of his skull, right where his temples were. A heavy sigh leaving the man's mouth caused the air around them to disappear – the Pharaoh tired. "I must… apologize, for my behavior." Isis rise her brow, they pushed so high, and they made the shape of a roof of a house.

"I'm sorry, my Pharaoh, I don't understand why you are apologizing." She commented lightly – Isis may or may not know if she was speaking out of her term, but she didn't understand. The Pharaoh only shook his head to disagree with her, however instead of replying to Isis, the Pharaoh turned to Shadi and bowed his head, shocking the three of his Priests and Priestess.

"Thank you for listening to me while I was still in my right mind,"

"My Pharaoh, please don't thank me for something I would always do. I am here to carry out your orders." Shadi replied, feeling embarrassed by the sudden praise for something so trivial.

"Never the less, I'm afraid nothing you can do for me… I have been consumed by an old enemy that I have forgotten. I was a fool for lowering my guard from coming back home, thinking all was safe and gone, but that way of thinking now is foolish…" The Pharaoh slumped over as Isis, Seto and Shadi all reached out towards him but he held up his hand, which stopped them. "I can feel myself slipping away… everyone…." The Pharaoh started to plea as he started to shake, his crimson eye rolling in the back of his head as threw his bones a dark matter dripped and splashed all over his clothing, "Run…! And…, whatever you do - DON'T LET ME CATCH YOU!"

The next thing Atem knew, he attacked his friends with strength he knew that wasn't him. Laughter in the back of his mind filled his sense, cooing him like a child doing bad – encouraging the evil type of behavior.

"That's right Pharaoh… destroy your comrades, take the items… it's time to take my revenge!" Atem didn't understand how he came back, it was impossible. He called upon The Creator God of Light, Horakhty, with the last bit of his strength to destroy him for good…! So why…?

Why was Zorc Necrophades back!?

WHY?!

"WHAT'S WRONG PHARAOH?! I CAN HEAR YOU THOUGHTS, I CAN FEEL YOUR BREATHING! DON'T YOU GET IT?! WE ARE ONE OF THE SAME NOW AND NOTHING WILL TARE US APART! I WON'T ALLOW IT! THIS IS YOUR PUNSHIMENT FOR ALL THOSE YEARS AGO AND THEN SOME! NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU! NEVER!" Atem moments later started to scream in agony, as the grip around him started to tighten so much, it snapped his bone and suck all the darkness into Zorc's body,

"That's right… I'll feed off your darkness until nothing is left… you'll we are one now… doesn't that make you anger…? Don't that make you sick…? Just the thought you being use for the very evil you destroy… it must haunt you… doesn't it? Still holding the burden for your father…, leaving Egyptian in the hands of your cousin, leaving it in ruin…" Atem felt sharp nails cares the bone on his face as he quickly snapped his head away, his one crimson eye glowing,

"Don't. Touch. Me." Another around of laughter filled the air,

"…I do whatever I want you, you are me… what about that don't you understand now? I'll touch you, abuse you as much as I want, as soon as I get the rest of the items Pharaoh, you'll be so use to it. You might even like it… Hahaha…"

"Never… I swear I get out of here!" Atem roared, pulling on sore bones as more hands popped out of Zorc's chest and grabbed Atem, holding onto him for dear life, as the Millennium Items he had formed around Atem. The Key, Rod, Ring, Necklace. He still needed the Scale, the Eye and finally the Puzzle. As Atem struggled the more Zorc's laughter increased in volume, never the less, he didn't let his laughter stop for his own plans, and with the ease of the Shadow realm, and the use still strong bond of the soul rooms Atem and Yugi still had, Zorc managed to find himself staring the other down.

Zorc snorted at Yugi's over dramatic yelling of his partner's name. How pathetic.

"I think it's time I took care of you, Yugi! I won't allow you to get in my way anymore! Come forth! Diabound! Destroy him!" Yugi leaped back, performing a backflip, skidding in front of the three Atem was after, yet he couldn't move. He was being suffocated. As the large monster, appeared, roaring at the four of them, Yugi reached down to his deck and pulled out five cards. Seconds later he glanced at them and smiled, but it was a wry smile.

"Come forth! Silent Magician Level 8!" Seconds later a mysterious white light beamed down as blue glitter covered the floor as she started to form from it. With an elegant spin, her elegant and power was formed as her staff appeared in her hands, her beautiful eyes open and set a-blazed for battle."

"Silent!" Harry called as she turned to smile at him winked, giving a greeting nod to Ron and Hermione who happily returned it. Yugi couldn't help to smile at their reunion as he pulled out another card from his desk.

"DIABOUND! GET RID OF THEM!" As the flying gray monster, roared again, growing twice its size, its appearance changing into a grotesque demonized monster, Yugi summoned another monster within the same moment,

"Gandora! Stop Daibound!" A dragon's cry filled the air as to large claws reached out and stopped Diabound, even going as fair as crushing Daibound's snake tail-head under his own foot. "Zorc! Release him now!"

"I can't do that… you see that your precious friend and I are one being now… we feed off each other's darkness!"

"THAT'S A LIE!" Yugi roared, his eyes started to become glass because of the tears he was trying to hold back.

"I think so! Daibound!" The next thing Atem knew, Gandora was thrown aside, Yugi moved the trio out-of-the-way as Daibound swallowed Silent whole, her magic attack deflected like it was nothing.

"I call upon the spell card The Fountain in the Sky. So say good-bye to Daibound!"

"NOO!"

"YUGI!" Atem surprised himself with his own voice as the eye of Horus appeared on his forehead. As two portals appeared next to him as Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl flew out of the portals.

"Pharaoh!" The two shouted, freed from Zorc's rain due to Atem's quick thinking.

"Mahado! Mana-!" Before Atem could continue his mouth covered by a hand as it squeezed Atem tighter, a couple of more bone snapped under the pressure. Tears rolling down his face. The two magicians quickly went to Yugi's side.

"Mahado! It's all you!" Yugi shouted as he nodded,

"I call upon the card Magic Gate of Miracles!"

"W-WHAT?!"

"I hate to break it to you Zorc but more cards has advanced in our time line then you know!" Seconds later, two large hands seem, reaching out and grabbing Atem pulling him Zorc's body, including the Items.

"NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I WON'T ALLOW THIS!" When Atem placed in front of Yugi, Yugi pulled him into a hug, which Atem returned weakly.

"VOLDEMORT!"

"Hahaha… as you wish!"

"WATCH OUT!" Before Atem knew it himself, Mahado and Mana stepped in to take the blow, but it went through them, and before Yugi could get hurt, Atem used his strength to push him out-of-the-way as a green light surrounded him. His screams filled the room along with another… one he wouldn't thought would be screaming.

As he fell to the ground, he turned his head to see that Zorc took massive damage as well, his voice shaking the ballroom. When Atem hit the ground, his crimson eye dimmed, and darkness covered him.

"PHARAOH!"

"MANA NO-!"

"LET ME GO! LET ME GO MAHADO! PHARAOH!" Mana screamed at the top of her lungs, she was sobbing mess as Zorc turned to Voldemort, shaking in agony,

"YOU FOOL! YOU'VE MISSED!" Before Voldemort could reply a cross appeared in the sky as Silent Magician made appeared, Yugi knew that he didn't have edge of surprise of the two evil lord as Silent raised her staff, a white blinding light flashed through the ballroom as Zorc screamed out in pain as Voldemort hissed, and retracted back in the portal Zorc opened for him before it closed. "That's Elf's Light, Zorc… I think it's time for you to pay the price of all you've done…" Yugi said as he finally stood, walking over to the cards he dropped upon Atem pushing him out-of-the-way before Voldemort released the killing curse.

Walking past the scattered items, being careful to not step on Atem's body, as he made his way closer and closer to Zorc.

"You know… I was told that I would never have to use these three cards but it seems like I would have too… if it means to destroy you again, for good then I shall. I summon Slifer the Sky Dragon! Obelisk the Tormentor…! And, The Winged Dragon of Ra!"

"DO YOU THINK THOSE WEAK GODS CAN DESTORY ME?!" Zorc roared as the gods filled the room destroyed most of the ballroom that came with it.

"… Not without this card… I use polymerization to summon, you say is your mortal enemy! THE CREATOR OF GOD OF LIGHT, HORAKHTY!"

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

Suddenly a warm light filled the room as large hands appeared on the side of the ballroom a powerful women's voice filled the air.

"… Zorc… don't be afraid… the light won't hurt you…"

"NO! NEVER! STAY AWAY FROM ME! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The light, was so powerful, it even blinded the duel monsters sights. A gentle breeze enter the room, as Yugi felt light, lighter than he's ever been.

"…. You were very brave Yugi… so in return for stopping Zorc once again… I left a present… don't let it goYugi… Don't ever forget my words, for I am so proud… you are truly the King of Games…" He heard Horakhty tell him. Zorc's cries seemed to fade away as the light died, only leaving Yugi, Atem and the trio left… along with a broken ballroom. From the window dawn started to creep in as Yugi quickly turned, and ran over to the Pharaoh.

"A-Atem…?" Yugi muttered ever so softly, gently picking up the broken Pharaoh in his arms, tears filling his eyes, "Atem…?" He muttered again, his voice dropping into a low whisper as Yugi couldn't stare into his one lifeless crimson eye that started to regain… color?

"Y-yugi?" The male stiffen at his name as Yugi had to wipe away the tears to see the Pharaoh return back to his human state, no long just bone and the one eye. Two bright crimson eyes were staring into big purple ones.

"W-welcome back…" Yugi cooed, as the two broke out into goofy smiles before light laughter rung through the both of them, resting foreheads against each other like the time that had passed between them wasn't there. Sudden they heard steps approach them as both of them quickly turn to see the trio, holding out the items, all of them, which was broke up between the three as they held it out towards Atem.

"I think these belong to you…" Harry muttered, as Atem sat up with the help of Yugi, there were many of his bones broke because of the Zorc but he figure being alive was a nice trade for broken bones. The trio seemed frighten of Atem's reaction, but they were met with a gentle smile and a light voiced 'thank you', (from all the screaming he did), yet from that Yugi figured whatever was going on the apologized were accepted on both sides.

"…Are your friends okay?" Ron asked, rubbing the back of his head as Yugi and Atem looked at each other, smiled, then looked back at the trio,

"Mahado and Mana are fine,"

"Silent and Gandora are good as well. Whatever evil that Zorc brought upon us is gone now, I'm sure everyone didn't leave this without wounds, but with time it, they will heal. Don't worry, everything will be fine." Yugi assured Ron as Atem nodded to agree.

"What's wrong?"

"My priest are fine," Atem replied to Yugi who nodded. Yugi was sure that Atem could already feel the presences of his priests waiting for him to get somewhere quiet so they could appear.

Seconds later the group was met with the last person they wanted to see, followed by the headmaster and teachers,

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!"

Yugi and the trio let out a groan as Atem looked highly confused as Umbridge was the first to come out on the scene, great.

After a long lecture from Umbridge and Dumbledore questions – the group found themselves in the office the teachers went to fix what they could of the damages.

"You can NOT tell me that the Dark Lord has return!"

"But it's true!" Hermione countered, as she, Harry and Yugi were the ones explaining what happened even though they allowed Yugi to take care of most of it, as he twisted some of the truth and left many parts out while explaining what happened. Umbridge didn't seem to care. Especially when Yugi told both Dumbledore and Umbridge that Voldemort had returned and nearly tried to kill him.

"That's quite enough of you young woman! If it was up to me I would have you all in detention! Even him!" She stated pointed to Pharaoh, who seemed out most amused with Umbridge, although the only notion of this was in his dancing eyes, nothing more as he had to drink another potion to fix his broken bones. "Who ARE you anyway?" She huffed towards the Pharaoh, who finished down the bottom, frowning slightly at the taste still.

"He's in no condition to talk Professor-" Yugi started but she only shook her head at him,

"I was not talking to you Mr. Muto. I was talking to the boy in the bed, he can speak for himself – thank you."Yugi eyes darken as the Pharaoh set up and gently reached out towards Yugi's hand which he quickly met half way. The gesture was something of comfort to call Yugi down. Never the less – when the Pharaoh opened his mouth words came out – but to everyone's surprise it wasn't English. "Now, now, English is a universal language, now who are you?" Umbridge pressed even more than before as the Pharaoh frown, before looking over at Yugi speaking whatever language, as Yugi surprisingly replied back before turning to everyone else.

"He's speaking Egyptian… which is his native tongue. He knows what we are saying but I think because of the shock he can't form the words…" Yugi looked at Pharaoh worriedly, giving his hand a squeeze which was returned.

"That's… just great." Umbridge huffed, "Well as soon as he gets better, we can ship him back." The Pharaoh and Yugi snapped their heads towards her as the trio took a half step back, getting out-of-the-way of the daggers.

"He's with Yugi." Dumbledore said, breaking the tension in the air, "And, Yugi will not be leaving any time soon, so neither will his friend. However, can we get a name from him Yugi?"

"His name is Atem." Yugi replied back, smiling at Dumbledore. Atem bowed his head towards Dumbledore, although he could do no more without pain spreading across his face.

"Hey… don't strain yourself… rest." Yugi told Atem, moving closer to him before rubbing his shoulders to ease the pain, and to everyone's surprise the pain faded from Atem's face.

"Yugi is right… you should rest, the rest of you should get some rest as well. If you want, you all can visit later today or tomorrow during normal hours." The nurse called out, before walking over to the group, Yugi smiled that the nurse for she was the one who helped him time and time again with Umbridge.

"Alright," Yugi turned to Atem and smiled, "I'll be back later, don't worry the healing magic here will have you back to normal in no time." Atem nodded once before Yugi and the nurse helped Atem into bed. Soon, Atem closed his eyes and was off to sleep.

Umbridge groaned before looking at the items which were gathered in the extra pillow case Harry gotten.

"I'll personality take these."

"No way," Yugi snapped leaving Atem's side as Umbridge placed herself between Yugi and the items.

"Are they yours?"

"Yes they are."

"Well the Dark Lord – as you claim wanted these items so we need to lock them up somewhere."

"You don't know what you're doing, these are ancient artifacts, and danger comes wherever these items are! They've been in my family for years!"

"If they are so dangerous why don't you have them?"

"Because, I'm use to carrying those burdens… if they fall into the wrong hands again, who knows what will happen. But, I can assure you Professor Umbridge – death is one possible that can save no one of this curse unless they are dead." Professor Umbridge fixed her jaw as Yugi greeted his teeth, which was interrupted but Dumbledore who coughed,

"If I may… Yugi, I know these items are precious to you, but allow Umbridge to at least lock them up… and you shall each the extra key to wherever the three of us agrees to put it. Does that seem fair..?"

"Yes… only if you get a key too."

"I'm afraid that won't be necessary… as you said you don't want other people to fall upon the curse correct?" Yugi stared at Dumbledore for a long time before smiling and nodded, if to understand his words, although it only confused everyone else.

"Correct. Alright thank you."

"After we put the items away, I'll personality go and help the teachers. I did help make that mess."

"Thank you… but tonight, you are a hero as you fended away the Dark Lord."

"This again?!" Umbridged huffed, grabbing up the items as Yugi sighed,

"Yes, what about Atem's dorm arrangements?"

"He can stay with me, the bed I have is big enough for the both of us." Yugi offered as soon the three of them left only leaving, soon only the trio remained. Just the sound of Atem's peaceful breathing and the pounding hearts of the teens.

Even though the trail with the Pharaoh was over, Voldemort seemed to have a hand it in.

Yet, why did the killing curse go through the Duel Monsters?

How did the Pharaoh gain skin and vital organs, even though he was once just skin and bones?

Why couldn't he speak English even though he spoke it perfect to all of three of them in the ballroom? Yugi gave a somewhat believable response to this but the trios didn't believe it… too much.

Why was Voldemort helping out that demon called Zorc by Yugi?

Who was Zorc anyway?

Nothing to making sense anymore despite the ending being better than what it could have turned out to be.

"…You three are still here?" The nurse called, walking out of one of the rooms, scaring the trio.

"S-sorry… we were just leaving." Harry said, as he rubbed his arm – trying to get rid of some of the goosebumps that formed on his arm. The nurse nodded as she watched them leave.

"…I guess we'll have to wait until later…" Ron said out loud, as the feeling of tiredness caught up with them as the fear was no longer there… or at least in front of them.

"…. You guys ready for class?"

"No." Harry and Ron groaned, letting loose a sigh afterwards before the trio made their way to class, knowing that skipping class was not an option… not while Professor Umbridge was around.

AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS THE END OF CHAPTER TEN!

YES!

Chapter 11 will probably be a short chapter… just saying.

Also I'm proud of myself. This is 8,000+ words. Usually I only have about 6000 to 4000 words for Innocent Corruption alone and even with my other stories. It's less. Now I would also like to note that this chapter could have easily broken up into about two chapters… maybe three if I was pushing it.

Never the less, I hope you guys like it. Thanks for sticking with me, leaving reviews, favorite me and my story. Thank you for the awesome ten chapters. :D

See you guys next time!

~Signing off for now
