Bubblegum Bitch

Most would probably expect me, in my situation, to run away crying while Sasuke helplessly chased after me; you know, cliché stuff. But no, I sighed angrily, wiped away the tears that would never fall and steeled myself.

I had been through too much shit for Sasuke and I wasn't going to face more. It was either me or Sakura and I was going to make sure he knew that.

I focused on my anger; my frustration towards Sasuke, Kyuubi, school, Sakura my life at the moment and mainly me. My failure to see that the whole thing was a misunderstanding, that if it wasn't for my stubbornness, I could be happy with Sasuke at that moment. It wasn't Kyuu who took away my happiness, it was me.

I clenched my jaw and slammed the door open as hard as I could. Sakura jumped away from Sasuke as if shocked that I had entered but the way she clinged to him annoyingly told me that she wasn't. My eyes drifted to Sasuke, his skin looked unusually pale and he looked slightly green in the face. I mentally shrugged, who wouldn't after kissing Sakura?

"Oh, Naruto, what are you doing here?" Sakura asked in an obviously fake innocent voice. I glared angrily at the stupid bubblegum, she was gratting on my nerves, "I think the better question is, what are you doing kissing my boyfriend?"

She smiled as she pulled Sasuke's arm closer to her chest, "Sasuke-kun chose me, so he broke up with you."

Sasuke made an incoherent groan as he tried to pull his arm away from Sakura to no avail. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow, was she the only person who didn't see how much Sasuke hated her? "He didn't break up with me, we're still dating." Sakura's eyes narrowed, "well he's breaking up with you now, as you can see."

The raven, once again tried to pull away from her but immediately ceased his attempt with a pained gurgle as he tried to double over as best as he could with Sakura on his arm. I raised an eyebrow at him, maybe he was actually sick.

I looked back at Sakura, "as you can see," I replied snarkily while gesturing to Sasuke, "he obviously doesn't agree with you." She sneered at me and I smirked back at her.

"And how would you know? You're nothing more than a reject, no wonder Sasuke didn't talk to you during school; I sure would be embarrassed if I had to." I grit my teeth slowly, what did she know? Wait, who does she even think she is? "I would know because he's my boyfriend, he always has been." I took a menacing step toward her, "and the only reason why we never talked in school was because we thought we'd at least be nice to you and let you live your little delusion for a little while. I mean, did you seriously think he would date you? You're disgusting Sakura, everything you do completely and utterly revolts Sasuke but you're just too blind to see it."

She flushed pink and I gave her a mean smirk, it felt good to slander someone who deserved it. "You're not Sasuke-kun; you don't know how he feels about me!"

I chuckled at the delusional girl, "I don't have to be him to know that he hates you, he told you himself the other day; was that not enough for you?" She growled at me, "you obviously tricked him! He has always liked me."

I sighed frustratedly, we were going in circles, she was seriously an idiot, "no, you always liked him and tricked yourself into thinking he loved you too."

"We were always together!"

"You followed him around Sakura, no matter how far he ran you would always be right behind him which is kind of creepy if you ask me."

Sakura's ugly sneer suddenly turned into an even uglier smirk, "I see how it is, you're so jealous of mine and Sasuke's relationship that you threatened him and made him date you and you made up all these lies because you're so deeply in love with him."

My eyebrow raised, was she being serious? I sighed heavily, "how delirious do you need to be to think of something like that?" I asked her in mock amazement.

Sasuke snorted weakly from next to Sakura and I shot him a small grin, no matter how mad I was at him, his small smile was still extremely handsome to me. He looked greener than he did before and I was starting to get a bit worried.

"Don't deny it Naruto, you know you're in love with Sasuke," Sakura said abruptly, trying to break the eye contact Sasuke and I had made. Without moving my gaze I smirked, "oh, I know, you're just not the person I should bet telling that to."

My smirk widened when a deep blush appeared on Sasuke's face.

Before Sakura could say anything more, the bell cut in, "well would you look at that, classes are starting!" I said sarcastically as I forcefully tugged Sasuke's hand away from Sakura's grip, "we better get to class, ay Sasuke?" He nodded in agreement as he tried to hurry and keep up with me but a tug on his other arm held us back.

I turned around and gave the dirtiest look I could muster at the bubblegum bitch. "We're not done here Naruto!" She hissed out, "well I am." I tugged on Sasuke's arm and she tugged back.

My eye twitched in annoyance, "let go Sakura, I don't have time to be playing tug of war with you right now."

She smirked, I knew what she was going to do and if she actually did it... she did it, she started a game of tug of war but was I going to take part? No, I wasn't I was going to be the bigger person and request politely that she let go lest she be hurt, "get the fuck off him right now before I completely fuck up your face and give you an actual reason to have plastic surgery." See? Polite.

She smiled at me smugly, I really wanted to wipe that stupid smile off her face, she had thought she'd won, she thought she was better than me and that Sasuke was hers, how wrong she was.

"Listen, Sakura, it's hard for me to tell you this but, nobody likes you." I said it slowly so her small brain would most probably understand. She scowled at me, "I don't care what the others think, as long as I have Sasuke-kun."

I rubbed a hand over my face, "I don't think you understand, I said everyone, as in Sasuke too." I waited for her to understand, which she didn't, so she turned to Sasuke instead, "you like me, don't you Sasuke-kun?"

I looked over at the raven too. It would be the first time in ages since I heard him speak so I really wanted to hear his rich voice. I cocked my head to the side in thought, actually, Sasuke hadn't spoken at all since I had come in, was it because he was sick?

Sakura kept prodding him for an answer and before I could tell the girl to back off and leave him alone, Sasuke opened his mouth as if to speak but something completely different came out.

I watched in amusement and horror- but mostly amusement- as a chunky green fluid spew from Sasuke's mouth and covered Sakura completely. I didn't think it would stop anytime soon as bits got stuck in her hair, stained her white uniform blouse, covered her bare legs and hit her black shoes.

When Sasuke had finally coughed out the rest of the mysterious green fluid (my new name for it) he looked a lot better which I was glad for. My eyes finally swept over to Sakura who lifted shaky hands to her face to wipe away the mysterious green fluid that had covered her eyes. I laughed as her pale face got paler as she looked down at herself. She tried to shriek but all that came out was a small squeak before she promptly collapsed on the ground.

I let out the loud laugh that I had been holding back since I saw her shocked face, it was classic. I looked over to Sasuke who was clutching a table for support and held him protectively. "Are you ok, do you want to go to the nurse?" He nodded as he switched his grip from the table to my shoulder.

I blushed slightly but helped him to the door with both our bags in my fee hand.

Before we left the classroom he looked over my shoulder, "s-shouldn't we help her too?" he asked softly into my ear. I had to hold back my shiver, oh how I had missed his voice.

I looked back over my shoulder at the unconscious pink haired menace, the girl who caused the meeting between Sasuke and I in the first place but also the person who caused Sasuke so much grief and me a whole lot of anger.

In some ways I should be thanking her; I shrugged, "naa, let's leave her." But I mostly resented her because she was, after all, a bubblegum bitch.
