A/N: Alright I cleared up Sasuke's reasoning and distain for his brother and his roommate. Sasuke a hard nut to crack and he's not very open to new friendships, especially ones with girls. He always thinks they want something from him and it annoys him. Again I changed Sasuke's dialog and I removed some offensive language and phrases. There could still be some misspellings and grammar, but it's better than the original.

A Life. A School. A relationship?

Chapter 10:

Hinata giggled softly as she opened the door to her dorm room, after receiving a funny text message from Itachi. They had been texting each other on and off for a bit now. Itachi was messaging her about how Hinata didn't have classes today and that he wished he could be with her instead. It made Hinata feel giddy with how much he enjoyed her company.

Hinata was in high spirits about this new relationship she was pursuing with Itachi as she sat on her bed replying to Itachi that he should focus in class. After hitting send, Hinata's eyes drifted to the other side of the room that seemed vacant of life.

Hinata hardly had seen her roommate in over the past two weeks. Sasuke would come in late every hour while she was asleep and wake up very early in the morning to leave. She didn't know what Sasuke had going on but it felt intentional. She really tired hard not to be much of a hassle to him. She been trying to be more considerate to him and his routine.

Hinata sighed as she laid down on her bed. She wished she could understand her roommate to some degree to be less burdensome even if she didn't like him very much. She laid there in her thoughts until she eventually fell asleep.

Hinata had no plans for the day as her classes were canceled and no one to hang out with. Itachi had classes, Tenten was out with her boyfriend, and Temari was practicing her violin. Ino was going through drama with Kankuro, her current ex and didn't want to talk to anyone.

Hinata had no clue about what the guys, Tenten and Temari constantly hung out, with were doing, but Hinata wouldn't be comfortable hanging out with them unless there were other girls present. Hinata had always felt funny when hanging out with a group of guys by herself. In high school, Ino and Sasame were always with her as they talked with their guy friends. It would feel a little odd being the only female in an all guy group. If it was one on one, it be different.

Hinata didn't wake up for a couple hours. She yawned as she sat up and looked around. Her roommate was still absent, but as Hinata looked over at her desk something caught her eye. There were white envelopes stacked on her desk.

Filled with curiosity, she strode over to her desk, picking up the white envelopes. Her roommate must of came in while she was asleep and put her mail on her desk. Hinata paled as she examined them; they were bills.

Taking a deep breath, Hinata opened the first envelop and her eyes widened as she read it. There was no way she would be able to pay for this with the money she had currently. It would only pay half of it. Hinata didn't even want to take glance at the other bills.

Hinata put the bills back on her desk as she began to feel something in the back of her throat. Hinata ran to the bathroom making it just in time to throw up. Hinata usually threw up under a lot of stress. Her family, classes, assignments, dancing, and money were all pushing down on her. There was too much to deal with on her plate. Going out on dates with Itachi was not helping much either, but to her dating Itachi was not a chore.

Hinata liked going out with him and talking with him, but maybe she should hold off on the relationship until she was on more stable ground. Hinata flushed the toilet and rinsed her mouth out. She lifted her head up as she turned off the sink, staring at herself in the mirror. She felt like she was so tiny and life was just crushing her as if the world wanted her gone.

What could she do? She was nothing special to the world. Even as she looked at herself now, she saw nothing. Hinata took a deep breath, trying to relax herself. 'It will be ok, I can balance everything out. I can make the money. All I have to do is get a job. Get a job," Hinata thought to herself, sighing. It was hard for her to believe that everything would work out but she had to try. And a job meant she would have more things to add to her to-do list, but there was no other way.

Hinata left the bathroom, grabbing her phone and bag; leaving her dorm room to go buy a newspaper. She walked down the street after leaving campus. She brought a newspaper at a sidewalk stand. Hinata sat on a sidewalk bench as she began to read the job ads.

After reading almost all the job ads, Hinata could not pick a suitable job that could fit all of her needs. The job that she hoped to find would have to be a one that was close by to campus, since Hinata had no means of transportations, the hours on the job would have to fit her school schedule, and had to pay a fair amount of money. Most of the job ads she read over she couldn't do. Sighing, Hinata placed the newspaper in her lap, giving her eyes a rest. Hearing a loud gushing sound, Hinata looked up at a bus that had its doors open. The bus driver was staring down at her with an impatient look on his face.

"Are you getting on or what, girl?" The bus driver said, impatiently.

"Oh, I'm sorry. No, I'm not getting on the bus," Hinata stuttered, giving an apologetic smile towards the bus driver.

The bus driver made a noise that sounded a little annoyed and angry, murmuring something unkind towards Hinata. The bus driver closed his doors and started to drive down the street. Hinata stared at the bus as it left and stared at the area it once blocked and it caught her eye. She noticed a help wanted sign in the window across the street from her. Hinata's eyes traveled up and read the café's name.

Hinata curiosity peaked as she stood up as she decided to cross the street to investigate. She was hopeful that maybe she could get a job there. It would be easy to travel to from campus. It wasn't that long of a walk.

Hinata eyed the place through the windows as she slowly walked into the little café, smelling fresh brewery of coffee that had just been made. There were not many people in there, only a few people lounging around on couches. There was a couple at a table, and a few boys playing the video games and pin ball machines. Hinata walked straight over to the counter where a girl, with an apron on and name tag, stood to serve.

"Um hi, I w-would like to apply here for a job, s-since I saw your h-help wanted sign in the window," Hinata sweetly addressed to the worker.

"Sure, let me get the boss. I'll be back." The girl left to the back while Hinata waited. The girl came back with this middle-aged man in a red collar shirt and black slacks. He came right over to Hinata after the girl pointed to her.

"Hello, pleasure to meet you," the man greeted, as he stuck out his hand to shake. Hinata shook his hand.

"Pleasure to m-meet you. My name's Hinata."

"My name is James Phil, JP for short," he gave a chuckle as he let go of Hinata's hand.

Hinata smiled at him in silent laughter. JP led them to a table. They discuss the job and about her. The job was prefect for Hinata; it had good hours that worked for her, easy walking distance from campus and paid good amount of money. Hinata filled out the application and JP said she most definitely got the job and he would give her a call soon after the background check. Hinata was elated when she left and went back to campus to eat.

Hinata walked into the Cafeteria Building, noting it was lunch time and that it was packed. After Hinata bought her lunch, she started to look around for a place to sit and to see if she could find Itachi.

"Yo Hinata," a hand was gently laid on Hinata's shoulder.

Hinata turned around to see that the hand belonged to Temari.

"Come sit with us, we're all eating outside," Temari offered, leading the way to the tables outside.

Hinata followed willingly, happy to join her friends. It was a nice day to sit outside to eat as it wasn't too hot or cold. Outside at the table was Naruto, Shikamaru, and Tenten already seated. Temari sat down at the table along with Hinata. Tenten and Shikamaru were across from Hinata, Temari, and Naruto.

"Back already, Tenten?" Temari questioned, amusedly, knowing her friend had spent her morning with her boyfriend.

"Yes, he said he had to attend a business meeting," Tenten whined, ignoring the fact Temari didn't really care and was being sarcastic with her. Temari rolled her eyes as she took a bite of her hamburger.

"He seems like he's more into his work instead of into you," Naruto chimed in, suspiciously with his eyes closing slightly in a cat like manner.

Tenten threw a cookie at Naruto's face and it hit him on target. "Don't make that face. Its hell of creepy," Tenten stated.

Naruto rubbed his cheek, it was a hard cookie. Naruto looked down at the abandoned food and began to reach for it.

"Naruto don't even think about it," Shikamaru stated lazily.

Naruto froze momentarily and sighed as he gave up the idea about reaching for the cookie.

"Hey babe, I forgot to get a drink, can you go get me one?" Temari asked Shikamaru sweetly.

Shikamaru sighed as he got up, leaning across the table to kiss Temari on the cheek. "You owe me one," Shikamaru whispered into her ear before walking into the Cafeteria, making Temari blush a little.

"Ugh, not while I'm eating," Naruto complained, looking away from the couple.

"Shut up," Tenten snapped as she was about to throw something else at him again while Naruto started to duck. Temari intervened before the fight started.

"Hey, we have to discuss the party before Shikamaru gets back," Temari stated.

"What party?" Naruto asked sitting back up in his seat.

"Shikamaru birthday party, you idiot," Tenten answered, irritated at Naruto because of his cluelessness.

"Oh," Naruto murmured enlightened.

"Yeah, it's a surprise for Shikamaru. He doesn't really want a party because he says they're too troublesome, but it won't be no trouble for him because I'm setting it all up," Temari explained, lightly with a snicker.

"When is it?" Tenten asked.

"A week from now. I've been planning the party for a while and been telling people about it. The party is going to be at Shikamaru's place. I'll text you the address Hinata," Temari spoke as she went over the details.

Hinata was happy to feel included as she listened, intently.

"You each can bring a friend or a date with you, Shikamaru's parents said they don't care how many people are there just as long as we know them," Temari told everyone at the table.

"Got it," Tenten smiled, ready to tell her boyfriend at any minute.

"Yes this is going to be awesome," Naruto proclaimed, excited and almost jumped out of his seat.

"What's going to be awesome?" Shikamaru questioned looking suspiciously at the group.

"He talking about how awesome this movie is going to be that he is going to go see," Tenten smoothly lied. Shikamaru looked over at Tenten, analyzing her face.

"Yeah," Naruto spoke, trying to play along, laughing nervously.

Shikamaru put the drink down in front of Temari, and sat down, staring at Naruto. "What movie?" Shikamaru questioned, suspiciously.

"Umm…." Naruto started to dig into his memory of recent movies that were playing until the group's conversation got interrupted by new company.

"Hi, sweetheart," Itachi addressed, wrapping his arm around Hinata's waist, leaning down as he kiss her cheek.

Hinata blushed bright red. "Itachi," Hinata squealed from being surprised and from how close Itachi was.

Itachi chuckled at her and released his grasp on her waist and grabbed her hand. Itachi liked surprising her, because of the way she reacted. It never failed to amuse him. It was cute how Hinata reacted to stuff like that in front of people, so Itachi couldn't resist.

"Excuse me, while I borrow my girlfriend from you all for a while," Itachi spoke politely, as he tugged Hinata up from her seat.

"Bye guys, t-talk to you guys l-later," Hinata gushed as she left with Itachi who was moving away from the group.

"Lucky," Tenten muttered, jealous that Hinata got to spend time with her boyfriend while Tenten couldn't spend as much time with her own boyfriend. The conversation about the movie thing was completely forgotten as they began to talk about other stuff.

Itachi led Hinata into the grass and to a tree. He sat down right at the tree bring Hinata down with him so she could sit by him. Hinata scooted a little away from Itachi to give herself some room and to be able to see Itachi's entire face.

Itachi ignored the fact Hinata had scooted away from him and focused on what he wanted to tell her. "How has your day been so far?" Itachi asked, trying to find a way to start the conversation.

"It's been good. I got a j-job at a café," Hinata replied, smiling.

"You got a job? That's cool," Itachi mentioned, surprised. He never knew she was looking for a job, how odd. Was she in need of money, Itachi pondered.

"Well, I might get it. They still have to c-call me to c-confirm it," Hinata spoke timidly, looking down shyly.

"I hope you get the job," Itachi commented, sounding sincere, while analyzing her body language.

"So how has your d-day been g-going?" Hinata asked still looking down as she played with a blade of grass.

"It has been a bother, mostly because I haven't got time to spend with you," Itachi smoothly replied with a smirk on his handsome face; Hinata blushed at his comment. "But I have something that can make up for lost time."

Hinata ears perked up, as she looked up at Itachi, curious as to what he meant by that.

"How would you like to go to a ballet show tonight with me?" Itachi asked, pulling out two tickets, he already bought; showing them to Hinata. Hinata read the name that was on the tickets. Her eyes grew wide; she had always wanted to see this show but never had enough extra money to spend on something like this.

Hinata was at a loss for words, staring unbelievingly at the tickets. "How d-did you get these? Aren't they e-expensive?" Hinata asked barely able to form words, shocked.

"It was easy to get them, don't worry about the cost. I bought them because you love dancing and I wanted to give you something that you would enjoy, so don't you want to go?" Itachi expressed casually. It really was no hassle for him. The Uchihas were always getting free complimentary tickets to shows. It would spark good press and views.

"I would love to go," Hinata stated, blushing because he thought of her when he got the tickets.

"The show starts at seven, I'll pick you up at six," Itachi stated and their conversation turning to a different topic.

"Don't you have better music than this crap?" Sasuke mused, nonchalant, while looking through the scattered CD collection on the bed.

"Hey, no one asked you to listen to my music. If you don't like it get the hell out of my room!" Saryie shouted from the bathroom.

"Hn," Sasuke grunted as he scanned through Saryie's CDs.

Sasuke was sitting on Saryie's bed with her CDs out in front of him. He went through each CD inspecting them closely on everything: the artist, the songs, the lyrics, etc. While he went through her CDs, Saryie was in the bathroom with her music playing as it carried over from the bathroom. Saryie's dorm room was just like Sasuke's and Hinata's room except Saryie's side of the room was designed with her stuff.

Saryie stuck her head out of the open bathroom door. "Is your roommate really that much of a bother that you have decided to hide?" Saryie inquired, tauntingly.

"I'm not hiding," Sasuke stated, automatically.

"Are you avoiding her then?" Saryie questioned as she disappeared inside the bathroom again.

Sasuke ignored Saryie as he resumed reading the CD's lyrics.

"Or is it because she's going out with Itachi?" Saryie bluntly asked as she walked out of her bathroom, looking suspiciously at Sasuke.

Sasuke looked up at her blankly. "Itachi can do whatever the hell he wants with whoever he wants. It's no concern of mine anymore," Sasuke responded, disdainfully.

"Then why are you here?" Saryie pointed out as she emphasized with both index fingers directed at the ground.

"What are you dressed up for?" Sasuke interjected, changing the subject swiftly, as he eyed her.

"Oh yea. Sai asked if he could buy me dinner so I said agreed." Saryie remarked, moving her hair behind her ear and walking to her bed. "Which reminds me, you got to get out soon anyways." Saryie stated as she gathered her CDs and put them on her dresser, clumsily.

"Hn," Sasuke mentioned, emotionlessly as he got up.

"If you still need to hide, go bug Naruto in his room. I'm sure the door is unlocked," Saryie said, slipping on her shoes.

Sasuke made no comment as he walked to the exit. "I'm not hiding."

Saryie just rolled her eyes and grabbed her keys. Sasuke opened the door and walked out before her, leaving it open for her. Saryie walked out and locked her dorm's door. Once Saryie turned around Sasuke was already half way down the hallway.

"Later Sasuke," Saryie called out as she turned the opposite way to the stairs.

Sasuke began to ponder what to do. He wouldn't go to Naruto's room because Sakura would most likely be there. He didn't need her swooning over him right now. How could she ever think they would be together someday was beyond him. Plus, Naruto's room was usually messy and it usually had a smell.

Sai and Saryie were going out to dinner which is not surprising, because Sasuke could tell Sai was interested in Saryie, but is Saryie interested in Sai? Sasuke couldn't tell, Saryie was always finicky when it came to dating anyone, but it's not like he really cared.

Most likely Shikamaru would be with Temari, out somewhere. There was nothing for him to really do. He wouldn't go back to his room, because of his bothersome roommate.

It shouldn't have been much of a surprise, that his roommate had fallen for his brother's careful image. Whether she was genuinely interested in Itachi or the Uchiha name or money, didn't matter one bit. Itachi would be victorious in the end and break her little heart.

Sasuke knew his brother too well. Itachi used his money and looks to his advantage to mess with girls. To take what he wants and have control. It annoyed the crap out of Sasuke how many girlfriends that Itachi has ended up fooling. They were all the same. All dotingly in love with his brother and denying any flaws they saw with him. Sasuke couldn't stand the thought of watching his roommate develop the same kind of infatuation with his brother. She was already a bother and this was just icing on the cake.

Hopefully, his roommate will get wise and see through Itachi's act, but then Sasuke was going to have to deal with her crying over it. Oh how his brother always found ways to invade his life.

Sasuke sighed heavily and decided to head to the stairs. Once Sasuke was outside, he walked to the parking lot and got into his car. He drove off until he parked in front of a little café. Sasuke got out of his car and went into the little coffee shop. He liked the dainty place. The café was nice and quiet, it relaxed him. He ordered black coffee and sat down in a lounge chair. He picked up a newspaper that was on the side table besides him and started to read about what was happening in the world.

Time soon flew and Sasuke finished his drink and he left the café. It was only five thirty and he decided to go back to his dorm room whether or not his roommate was there. He drove back to campus and parked his car. He got out of his car and made his way to his dorm room. Once he unlocked the door, he walked right in and just as he suspected his roommate was there.

Sasuke analyzed her while he walked over to his side. She looked like she was nervous or anxious about something. By the way she was dressed; Sasuke could tell she was going out, probably with his brother. Sasuke tried hard not to scoff. His roommate was wearing a black skirt that went to her knees. The shirt that she had on was a lavender, long sleeved shirt. A short sleeved black jacket was on top of her shirt. She had her hair up in a bun with a few of her bangs framing her face.

Hinata looked up when she heard her roommate come in to the room. She was waiting patiently for Itachi and she was nervous, anxious, excited, and shy. She still couldn't believe she was going to get to see this show. Hinata couldn't sit still as she kept messing with her fingers.

Sasuke laid down on his bed and turned on the TV. He tried hard to fight the urge to not get annoyed, but as the minutes seem to drag on. He could help himself.

"I hope you find everything to your liking this evening," Sasuke bit out sarcastically, catching Hinata off guard as he trained his eyes to the TV.

Hinata's eyes widened as she stared at Sasuke. She caught the underlying tone of his statement and was unsure what he meant. "Whattt?" Hinata stuttered, clueless.

"Hn," was all Sasuke remarked, ignoring her once again.

Hinata bit her lip as she desperately wished Sasuke wouldn't act so coldly towards her. "I might be back late t-tonight so I hope I don't d-disturb you but in case I do, I deeply apologize b-beforehand," Hinata remarked, hoping Sasuke would take her comment seriously.

"As long as you don't come home crying, I'll accept that apology" Sasuke stated coolly, with a smirk.

Hinata cocked her head to the side as she stared at him in disbelief. Why would she come home crying? Hinata was deeply confused, concern growing over her features.

Suddenly there was knock on the door. Both looked towards the door. Neither of them moved until another knock came. Sasuke's eyes traveled from the door to his roommate and back to the TV.

"Aren't you going to get that?" Sasuke remarked, annoyed.

Hinata snapped out of her confusion and hesitantly headed to the door. She looked towards the ground with more worried than before as she opened it. Hinata lifted her head up slowly with a half-hearted smile on her face. Itachi gave her a slight smile back and quickly looked her up and down.

"You look beautiful, Hinata," Itachi complimented with ease.

Hinata gave a bashful, empty smile and quietly said thanks.

Itachi watched Hinata's facial expressions closely noticing the change in her mood. Itachi took his eyes off of Hinata and they traveled to what might be the source to Hinata's doubtful mood. His eyes critically analyzed Sasuke's facial expression and position.

Sasuke continued to ignore them; his attention totally drawn to the television. His face was blank as Itachi squinted his eyes in suspicion. Itachi eyes went back to Hinata after sometime.

"Is there something wrong?" Itachi asked directly; his eyes immediately going back to his brother's figure.

Hinata jumped a little, startled by the question, and followed Itachi's eyes, and then looked back at him then to the floor, nervously. "Oh no, nothing's w-wrong. I was just t-thinking about something sorry," Hinata said quickly, trying to get off the subject and going back to her normal self.

Itachi read Hinata's changed expression and stepped aside from the entrance, and held out his arm. "No need to apologize, but let's ahead on out, we don't want to miss the show."

Hinata smiled a bit warmer this time, nodding, and took Itachi's arm. They both stepped outside the dorm room and Itachi closed the door after Hinata. They both walked together, arm in arm to Itachi's car where Itachi would drive them to the show.

Hinata had an awesome time at the show; she loved it. She was so happy Itachi took her to go see it. It was beautiful how the ballet was flawless and graceful. The ending was the best part of the performance to Hinata.

The ballerinas all came out leaping around the stage triumphantly with wicked masks until the main ballerina came out from the corner of the stage and threw her arm above her head slowly. The ballerina gently spun, moving forward, as the other ballerinas looked upon her. The main ballerina leaped, making the other ballerinas move, and begin spinning. The other ballerinas began moving farther away from her till they were off the stage. The main ballerina slowed down her spinning, and slowly lowered herself to the floor. The orchestra picked up loudly and cut off the sound as the ballerina hit the floor.

It was meaningful and beautiful to Hinata. Itachi was intrigued by it; he thought it was interesting to discuss as Itachi drove them back to campus. Hinata had a lot of different opinions about the piece and was excited to share them with Itachi.

Itachi listened to her fully and discussed his views on it. Itachi realized how opened minded Hinata was to art and other views. Most girls he had dated could care less to discuss the performance and much rather talk about the dancers and how they looked. Itachi smiled at how Hinata talked endlessly when she was excited, her timid nature seeming to disappear. Hinata saw the smile on Itachi's face.

"What you smiling about?" Hinata asked shyly, looking away out the window.

"You really enjoyed the show, huh?" Itachi asked as his smirk got wider, looking over at Hinata who was turned away with blush on her cheeks.

"Yes, t-thank you for t-taking me," Hinata squeaked out.

Itachi gave a slight chuckle, "You're welcome."

Hinata looked down at her hands, then to the dashboard, looking at the clock, gasping. "Oh my gosh, I didn't know it was that late."

Itachi gave Hinata an amused look and slightly chuckled again. "But wasn't it worth staying up this late?"

Hinata slightly laughed, knowing it was completely worth it. "Yeah it was," Hinata replied.

"I agree, especially since I was able to spend time with you," Itachi spoke smoothly, looking over once more to see Hinata blush.

Hinata gently smiled to herself, she didn't know what to say back to that without embarrassing herself. Lucky, Itachi just drove into the parking lot and parked his car. Itachi hopped out of the car and walked over to help Hinata out like a gentleman. Itachi walked Hinata to her dorm building and she thanked him one more time that night as he kissed her cheek.

Hinata went inside of her dorm building after wishing Itachi a good night. She tried to be as quiet as she could since it was late and most people were sleeping. She quietly opened the door to her dorm room, and avoided turning on the light as to not wake up her roommate on accident.

Once her eyes adjusted to the dark, she saw her roommate was sleeping soundly. Hinata began to move to her closet and grabbed her pjs and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

After Hinata got done washing her body, she turned off the water and wrapped the towel around her body. She dried most of herself off before she noticed among her pile of clothes, she forgot to grab her clean underwear. With a quick peek outside the room, Hinata wrapped the towel around her tightly as she quietly slipped out the bathroom door.

Hinata quickly made her way to her closet and pulled out her underwear from the small set of drawers that were in the closet. She made her way back to the bathroom before shutting the door behind her, thinking she was successful in not waking her roommate. However, little did she know that Sasuke was light sleeper and he heard her when she came in. He had watched her come out of the bathroom with just a towel on, all the while he stayed perfectly still.

Slowly consciousness came over Hinata, waking her up to an early morning, before her alarm went off. She yawned and stretched her arms out. Her back relaxed again, she looked over at the other side of the room. Sasuke wasn't there, but it wasn't like Hinata would expect him to be. He was never in the room when Hinata woke up and personally she kind of liked it like that.

Hinata loved the morning and so mornings to herself just made it all more enjoyable. Memories fled to Hinata's mind of her life back at home when she would catch her mother in the backyard in the early morning. Her mother use to sit in a chair and drink a cup of tea outside, just looking at the patches of flowers and the blue sky. Hinata's sister and father usually slept in, when Hinata snuck down stairs to join her mother outside in the backyard at six in the morning.

Hinata's mother use to share her thoughts with Hinata about the world and Hinata would love to hear her mother talk about anything. However, not every morning was spent with chatter, other times they sat in silence as the enjoyed the cool breeze of the morning. Hinata's smile weakened at the memory as she got up and dressed. She packed her bag and left her dorm room, heading to the Cafeteria for breakfast.

Once she got her tray of food, she looked around for a place to sit. Hinata spotted Temari's group at a lunch table, and headed over to them, making sure Sasuke wasn't among them.

When Hinata sat down with them, they had all been talking but Tenten was the loudest amongst them, who was currently telling Naruto to give her back her food. Naruto was waving around her food, teasing her, having a goofy smile on his face. Tenten looked annoyed as she was used to Naruto's playful habits.

Temari was sitting and mainly talking to the brown haired girl Hinata had seen before but never caught the name of. Sai was sitting across from Temari, making a remark about the two fools standing up next to him fighting over food. Hinata did not see Shikamaru and wondered where he was.

"Hey Hinata," Temari greeted with a smile, turning her attention to Hinata.

The brown haired girl sitting next to Temari looked over in Hinata's direction and nodded to her with a slight smile. Hinata soon recognized her as she whispered hellos to the two of them, it was the same brown haired girl she saw dancing with Sasuke two weeks ago and that was in one of her classes.

Naruto ran around the table and dropped the bag of chips on Hinata's tray, "Runaway with them. Hurry," Naruto gushed as he rushed pass her to escape Tenten who was after him.

Tenten caught him, "What did you do with them?"

"I don't know," Naruto spoke with a cheeky smile.

"You do know, now tell me," Tenten accused and demanded.

"Tenten, Hinata has them," the brown haired girl interrupted, loudly, as her eyes darted to Hinata's.

Tenten looked over at Hinata. "Oh." Tenten chimed as she bounced over to Hinata and gathering her chips off of Hinata's tray.

"Thanks," Tenten called towards the girl.

"Aww, you're no fun Saryie," Naruto whined to the brown haired girl who sat by Temari.

"Ha, you know that not true, you know we played tons of pranks together when we were little," Saryie retorted, slightly laughing.

Naruto grinned and sat down beside Saryie. "That was then, this is now," Naruto teased as he pulled the braid in her hair lightly. Saryie stuck out her tongue at him.

Naruto kept grinning as he brought out a cookie from behind his back and bit into it.

"Hey that was mine," Saryie whined as she looked back down at her tray and lightly hit Naruto on his arm, before laughing.

Temari spoke up, noticing Hinata looked questionably at the brown haired girl. "Hinata this is Saryie. Saryie this is Hinata."

"Hi," Hinata greeted shyly.

"Hey," Saryie replied back.

"Saryie here is a dancer too but does hip-hop," Temari informed Hinata.

"And she is one of my oldest friends from way back, except for Sasuke. I have known him since second grade and her since seventh. At first Sasuke and her couldn't stand each other, but now they're best of friends too," Naruto spoke cheery in a proud manner.

"Where is Sasuke anyhow?" Tenten asked, curiously.

Naruto shrugged his shoulders. Tenten had went to sit by Sai who sat across from Hinata on the other side of the table as she opened her bag of chips.

"He's in one of the empty studios dancing," Saryie answered before taking a bite of her cereal.

"Really? How can he get in?" Tenten asked questionably.

"Oh, all you have to do is get a key and sign a piece of agreement paper, which has to be approved by Tsunade." Saryie easily explained, knowing how Sasuke managed to get the key.

Hinata was listening intently to the conversation, having caught her interest. She thought it would be lovely to dance in a studio every morning. Although, Hinata still had a lot of questions about it though.

"Do you get a key to the studio for yourself or do m-multiple people get use the s-same studio?" Hinata blurted out before she could stop herself.

Everyone turned to look at her as Hinata grew slightly red.

"No, you get the key for only one studio that you can use in the morning during a certain time frame," Saryie answered, evenly as she looked questionably at her.

"Thanks," Hinata spoke, shyly as Saryie nodded at her and went back to eating her cereal.

"So are you planning on dancing in the morning, Hinata?" Temari asked curiously, with a glint of amusement in her eyes.

"Is it going to be with Sasuke? Because if so, Saryie might feel like she being replaced," Naruto added jokingly, smiling teasingly at Hinata.

Saryie glared at Naruto as Hinata stuttered out a no.

"It's okay if you do," Saryie mentioned, turning back towards Hinata, her face composed. "I don't really care if you dance with Sasuke or not, we're just dance partners. I'm not even into him," Saryie stated as if it were nothing.

"Aww, no room for me?" Shikamaru interrupted, kissing Temari on the cheek in greeting.

"Oh no here you go," Saryie spoke as she got up and threw her food away, giving up her seat. "I got to go anyways. So bye, bye Hinata see you in second period."

Hinata looked shocked as she watched Saryie trail off; she didn't know Saryie recognized her from their class together. Most people hardly noticed Hinata in their classes. Hinata had to hide her smile, maybe this Saryie girl could possibly be a new friend? Hinata wasn't sure.

Shikamaru took Saryie's empty seat that was next to Temari. The group began to break out into conversation, having some laughs as everyone made sure not to mention anything about Shikamaru's surprise birthday party. Once Hinata got done with breakfast and said bye to her friends, she left to the Administration Building to see what she would have to do to get her own dance studio for the morning.
