Lloyd ran into the base as quickly as he could. I followed from behind, but I nearly lost him at one point due to him being much faster than me. As soon as he stopped running, everyone stared at him. "What's wrong g Nya asked as she walked over and placed a hand on Lloyd's shoulder as he breathed in and out at a fast pace. Lloyd looked up at her, "The Sons of Garmadon know Rumi's on our side!" He said as he looked at her seriously everyone gasped. "Well there goes our plan of her helping to get near the SOG..." Skylor said, rolling her eyes. "So?" Nya spoke. I just stared at her with a sad look on my face. Would Nya ever like me? "So she's in danger!" Lloyd shouted, pushing her. I stepped back: "Don't fight because of me..." They both stared at me and then turned back to each other. Nya opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by a loud bang. Pixal ran for the door and opened it slightly: "It's the Sons of Garmadon! They've found us!" Lloyd looked at me and then at his mom. "We led them here..." He said, looking down in shame. Everyone, it's about time we fight!" Everyone looked confident at that moment, but then Lloyd spoke again: "Harumi, I want you to stay here with Nya and my mom."
"WHAT?!" We both shouted it at the exact same time. "N-" Nya tried to peak but everyone seems was out the door like a bullet. Misako stared at the now-closed-door in anger: "They even let Dareth go?"
"Lloyd was probably just trying to keep you safe. After all, he does like you more than Dareth..." Nya said, reassuringly. There was a long silence for a while, but I got curious so eventually, I broke it. "Say, Nya..." I spoke finally. "Yes, Harumi?" She replied but sounded a bit irritated. "Why do you hate me?" There was a long pause, but then she sighed. "I was jealous of you..." She looked down and started messing with her hair.
"Jealous? Of what?"
"Of how...of how...Look Rumi, you were lucky. When your parents died, you were lucky to find a new family, a proper family who could easily take care of you. When my parents died, my brother had to take care of me, but he was young. He wasn't experienced. He couldn't take care of me properly. Rumi, you had two families who loved you and took care of you. I had one family that couldn't take care of me, and yet, you reply to that by killing one of your families. Don't you realise how heartless that is?" By the end of that, I was in tears. I looked back at her and said, "Nya, of course I realise how wrong it is. I regret it to this day!"
"Do you though? I BET YOU STILL WORK FOR THE SONS OF GARMADON! I BET YOU TRICKED LLOYD ONCE AGAIN!"
"I DIDN'T, NYA, I DIDN'T!"
"GIRLS!" I was so happy that Misako stopped that. I nearly burst into tears right there on the spot: "I didn't..." And just like that, I took off. Out of the door. Across the street. And to where? I did not know...
