Hi guys, this is The Fallen's Mistake, the sequel to The Past Always Returns, which is the sequel to A Change In Plans. It would probably be best if you read those first, else ya'll will be very confused. ;p

Thanks a bunch to everyone's support, and mah lovely reviewer harem! ^^

- Until All Are One -

Summary: The adventures continue! How will all the changes affect the events of the 2nd movie as we know it? Sage and her family are going to go through some more difficult and troubling events in this sequel to The Past Always Returns.

Disclaimer: Obviously, I don't own Transformers, else I'd have the kiddie version, and the adult version. LOL Plus I'd not be broke right now. XD

I will have my normal notes, from A Change In Plans, at the bottom, instead of at the top. So Cybertronian terms are on the bottom. ^.^

Chapter Warning: Galloway learning to fly, Graham being sneaky, and the twins being, well, themselves.

Title: The Fallen's Mistake

Chapter Ten: Flying Liaison? Anyone? Going once...

- Until All Are One -

Previously from The Fallen's Mistake:

"You're on the Worldwide Wanted List. Try calling one base, they'll track you here in seconds. CIA is all over this place!"

"You're gonna call." Simmons looked at him for a moment before smiling, chuckling to himself.

"Okay. That's a good idea,"

"All right,"

"I mean, I just had my mind on other things, like winding up in an Egyptian prison,"

"It's okay Simmons, we all have those moments,"

"Shut up Sage,"

"Shutting up,"

- Until All Are One-

::NEST depature, 2100 hours.::

Lennox winced as he looked over, spotting Sideswipe's alt covered in the cargo netting. He knew the mechs were VERY unhappy, to put it mildly. Even Blackout had snapped when one of the new soldiers had mentioned putting him in one of the C-17's. To their amusement, the Con had ripped the human to shreds, verbally, before shifting into alt mode and remaining next to the C-17.

"So, we're shipping him back to base. This is such a mistake." He and Epps moved, watching everything being prepped, only to spot Optimus being carefully placed on one C-17. The technicians and soldiers were being respectful of his frame, this time at least, he noted.

"Major Lennox, phone call."

"Lennox here,"

::Lennox, I'm with the kid. The kid. You know, the one with the attitude, right? Not to mention the girl, the girl, who's connected to them. We need the truck. The truck. We got a possible resurrection going on over here. You're not gonna believe where we are. Code Tut, as in King Tutankhamen. Back of a $1 bill. Coordinates for airdrop, 29.5 north, 34.88 east. Write it down. Write it. Oh, my God. I got to go. Okay. Heat comes.:: Lennox shared a look with Epps before they moved.

- Until All Are One-

"Wait, who are you?"

"Wait it's me. Leo. Me. Leo. Leo. Leo." Simmons hung up, spotting a guy running towards them, only relaxing when Leo flashed his face. He winced when the payphone fell apart, thankful he managed to get the message out at least. "Cops are coming right now. We need to go!"

"Move, move, move, move," he tucked the phone into his jacket, no use leaving fingerprints, right?

- Until All Are One -

"Coordinates, 29.5 north, 34.88 east. Tip of the Red Sea. Gulf of Aqaba."

"Egypt? Are you serious?" Epps groaned. Neither noticed Galloway spotting them talking, looking suspiciously at them. Graham nodded in greeting towards the Liaison, but remained relaxed, two fingers pressing a hidden button on his watch in a quick sequence. "Even if we could figure out a way to get big man over there, how is this little kid supposed to bring him back to life?"

"Look, I don't know, but we got to trust him." Will sighed, "I trust Sage, and she trusts her cousin. Besides, haven't you noticed weird shit happens around them?"

"Yeah, but have you also noticed that the Decepticons only asked for Sam?"

"Yeah, that's confusing me too. Ironhide mentioned how badly Megatron wanted Sage, but they didn't demand her, like Sam. There's something going on, something stranger than normal," Demonta slipped unnoticed next to the soldier, reading the texts Barricade had sent her about everything they had found out. She noticed when he reached for his phone, hearing the soft vibrations, and kept an eye out as he reached for it. Graham felt his phone vibrate, glancing down, keeping the screen away from Galloway, not noticing Demonta reading over his shoulder, he smiled faintly at the short message.

"Okay, let's go over it again."

"When the Dawn Alights the Dagger's Tip, the Three Kings will Reveal the Doorway," they chorused.

"That's what he said."

"You know what it means?"

"No, what does it mean?"

"I have no idea,"

::Checkpoint ahead!:: Barricade's warning alarmed them, but he was faster, speeding up to cut in front of the scout. ::Do not do or say anything, I will handle this,:: he warned, his holoform materializing as Sage and Mikaela ducked into the back seat. With a flicker, the hologram shifted more into an Arabian looking male, quickly modeled after the ones around them. ::Cameras on top, scout, neutralize them:: An agreeable warble and trill before Leo noticed the light flick off on them. As the guards spoke several rapid orders in Arabic, Barricade replied fluently, handing over several folders.

"Alright, everyone chill. This is espionage now, I can handle this," Simmons murmured, as several guards walked over to them. "These are my people. I'm one-thirty-sixth Arab." Wheelie popped his head up, spotting the head guard, groaning theatrically.

"Great, a fricking Munchkin. Little people are mean. Tell him he's tall!"

::Be silent scrap-drone,:: Wheelie went silent, ducking down. For several long moments, Barricade conversed with them, almost looking friendly and cheerful, and gaining smiles and laughter from the guards, before they were waved through.

"How the hell did you do that?" Sam wondered, after several minutes of driving.

::New York Yankees,:: the Con sniggered.

- Until All Are One -

He paused, receiving a Ping from Frenzy, before focusing on several communication lines. He felt the Cybertronian hack, traced it, before pausing as he contemplated what to do. Opening a short line, he transmitted the coordinates to Starscream and the Constructicons. ::Boy located,::

::Starscream in pursuit,::

::Constructicons, approaching destination,:: he closed the lines, re-opening a private one to Scrapper.

::Do not forget primary objective,::

::Understood,::

- Until All Are One -

"Undercover, yo. You got to blend in with your surroundings. Be part of the landscape," Skids spun in circles, only to get swatted by Barricade as he moved past, right into his twin, who fell and tripped him. "Ouch!"

"How is that blending in?" Leo muttered.

"Awesome!" Simmons gaped at the pyramid, "I think aliens built that." He contemplated it for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, yeah,"

"Guard us. Low profile. Don't make a scene, okay?" as they slipped inside the old building. Without a word, Barricade and Bumblebee shifted back into alt mode, driving around and checking the perimeter. Wheelie gave the twins the finger as he sneered.

"Yeah, some of us got work to do! Dumb Autobots."

"You're one now too," Sage pointed out, smirking when he choked. They settled themselves in, Sage pulling out the bag of food Barricade had stored in his sub-space. It wasn't perhaps the healthiest, mostly chips, crackers, and dry food, but it was something. There were also bottles of water, warm, but drinkable.

"Good thing Cade likes to be prepared," Sam mumbled, munching on some chips. They all agreed, before settling down to rest for a couple hours. Sam and Mikaela settled together outside, enjoying the night sky and each other's company. "Being my girlfriend is hazardous to your health," he commented out of the blue.

"Yeah, well, girls like dangerous boys."

"Do they?" he pressed a kiss to her head.

"Yeah," she laughed quietly, curled in his arms. "You might as well just say it," she added, wanting to hear those words.

"Ladies first,"

"Okay, so tonight you're going to be a gentleman. You're really chivalrous."

"Why are you mad at me?"

"You know what? Baby, I'm not… I'm not mad. Do you realize that I just flew 3,000 miles to keep you from getting killed?"

"I know,"

"Who else could be your girlfriend, Sam? Look at the things I go through with you. And now we're underneath the moon and the stars, and the three most beautiful pyramids on the planet, and you still can't even tell me that you love me."

"Wait, pyramids."

"What? Why do boys always change the subject?"

"Pyramids and stars."

"Sam?"

"Come with me really quick." He led her back inside, calling out to the others. Sage yanked her hoodie down, covering the now glowing glyphs, shifting against the window where she sat perched. Tilting her head, she coughed when she saw Leo and Simmons snuggling together, jerking apart when Sam shouted at them to wake up. "Listen, astronomy class, page 47. Remember the class?"

"No. I was only in college for two days. Remember that?" Leo muttered sleepily. Simmons looked like he'd just shit his pants, keeping his eyes open as wide as he could, trying not to fall asleep again.

"Here, get up. Up, up."

"What is he talking about?" All of them reluctantly followed him as he made his way to the roof, as sirens announced dawn.

"You see those three stars? You see how the last one touches the horizon?" he pointed out. "That's Orion's belt," Sage flinched, remembering looking up at the constellation and thinking of her brother. "But it's also called the Three Kings. And the reason for that is the three Egyptian kings who built the pyramids of Giza built them to mirror those stars, so it's like an arrow staring us straight in the face."

"They all point due east, towards Jordan. The mountains of Petra." Simmons pointed out.

"Glad someone knows geography," Sam blinked at his cousin in shock. "What? That was the one class I nearly failed, remember?" Sam snorted before dragging them all down, calling out to the mechs. Packing up their few things, they hopped into the curious mechs, explaining as they set up the fastest route.

- Until All Are One -

::We've had an engine malfunction. We're gonna have to divert to SOCCENT.:: Galloway looked up from the packet of papers he was ruffling through, looking nervous as the soldiers around him perked up. He didn't see one pilot radio to the third C-17 to continue to Diego, bringing the Younglings back to base with Jazz as escort, to the lieutenant's displeasure. None of them had noticed Frenzy sneak onto the plane, with help from Demonta, who had also managed to sneak on. ::Flight master, let's lighten the load and prepare for bailout.:: He looked around wildly as Will leaned forward, looking confused and irritated.

"Bailout? Bailout? Bailout? Bailout?"

"All right, team, grab your chutes!"

"Bailout like bailout?" He was urged to his feet, Lennox turning him around as he shuffled a chute onto his back.

"You familiar with the standard MC-4?"

"Of course not! I've never jumped out of a perfectly good airplane before!" his voice went a little high, Will noted with a hidden grin. "Wait a minute, is this really happening?" he shrieked, as Lennox started buckling him securely.

"Yeah," Lennox nodded sharply, catching the grin on Epps's face just before he bent, smacking Galloway in the back and making him stumble forward. "All right, here we go," Galloway jerked, looking back at Epps before his eyes narrowed, his panic fading away a moment.

"Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You're behind this, aren't you?"

"What are you talking about?" Will offered a confused look at him. If Galloway had known Will more personally, he would have easily seen the bluff. Too bad for him, he didn't. "You heard the pilot," Will insisted, "These guys don't mess around. This is just standard procedure." He stood, yanking some straps into place as he continued, his voice turning slightly patronizing. "I'm just following orders to the letter. Isn't that what you said?" He yanked one, making it zing harshly and bringing out a startled cry from the politician. The soldier behind them looked up, startled at the sound before hiding his snicker, typing a quick message before sending it off.

"You just signed a death warrant on your career, Major." Just as he said that, the C-17 groaned and turned sharply, drawing a startled yelp from the Liaison. Will hid his snicker, giving a hidden thumbs up to the pilot, who waved it off with a grin, for his excellent timing. "Wh-wha-what was that? What was that?" And the panic was back.

"That's not good. Come on." Will stated slowly, hearing the normal rattling of the plane, but knowing for Galloway, those sounds seemed like death bells. "Right this way!" grabbing one strap, he hauled the politician past his team, who were still slowly putting their chutes on. If this HAD been an emergency, those chutes would have been on faster than he would have had time to give the order.

"I can't jump out of an airplane!" Galloway protested shrilly. "I have an ulcer! No, no!"

"Come on, it's okay," He pulled him past Optimus's body, standing close to the opening as the platform lowered.

"I really can't do this. What are you doing!"

"Come here! Come here." He yanked him into place, shouting to be barely heard over the roaring wind, and the man's full-blown panic.

"Why aren't you wearing your chute?"

"Because I have to secure the VIPs first!" he sounded sincere, "Okay, I want you to listen very carefully and memorize everything that I say." He knew the man was in panic mode and was barely able to hear him. "Each chute has a GPS tracker so you can be found by Search and Rescue. Right next to that's a fabric webbing called a bridle, which holds the pin that keeps the main container closed." He knew without a doubt that the Cons were going to enjoy his retelling of this story, as he added unimportant information to confuse him. "Okay, are you listening?"

"I can't hear what…" he slapped him lightly as he started blubbering.

"Stop that!"

"All right. All right."

"All right, when the pilot chute inflates into the air, it pulls the pin and opens the main. Red's your backup," he pointed to the red pin on his left shoulder, "Blue's your primary." He pointed to the blue on his right. "I want you to pull the blue." He closed his fist, yanking on the air aggressively as Galloway whimpered, "I need you to pull it really hard!" He wasn't quite expecting the man to actually yank it right then, not noticing the parachute inflating behind him as Will blinked at him in wonder. "Not now, we're on the plane, you dumb-ass!" the wind died down just as he said that, making his voice ring through the plane. Galloway looked startled, then confused, looking around blankly for several long moments, before he yelped as he was dragged off the plane, flailing as the chute opened fully to send him safely to the ground.

"He say good-bye?" Epps asked.

"No, he didn't even say good-bye," Will fist-bumped him, before a trilling laughter and a series of cackles brought their attention elsewhere.

"G-gg-got it al-al-all on t-t-t-ape!" Frenzy shrieked, Demonta clutching her sides as she laughed herself silly.

"Who let them out?" Epps wondered.

- Until All Are One-

"General, we're loaded and ready. You give us the go, and we'll be ready to press in five minutes."

"Excellent,"

"Sir, you need to see this now." Morshower looked down at the paper, reading it quickly, and wondering what Lennox was thinking.

"Get ready to bring the rain… Lennox you better be right about this," he muttered. "Have we checked these coordinates?"

"Egypt, sir. They're airdropping in."

"You've got to be kidding me. He knows something. We need to be ready to back him up if this thing goes hot."

"Sir! We just got an anonymous tip sir! The boy was seen 100 miles from the location on that little note there."

"It's getting hotter, any idea who this anonymous tipper is?"

"LitD, sir. Lady in the Dark. That's all we know,"

"Great, a new player,"

- Until All Are One -

"It's gotta be around here somewhere." Simmons panted, looking at his phone as they trekked through the rocky terrain. Sam paused, spotting smooth walls, ignoring when Simmons bumped into him. Moving closer, they all stared up at the carved temple-face they had stumbled on. "You see the size of this?" Simmons's voice echoed.

"You see this?" Sam asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't hallucinating or something.

"Spectacular," Skids raised his arms up, dropping them sarcastically, looking around.

"Amazing. Look at that," Simmons was enjoying the sight, as they ran up to the doorway. Bee warbled questions to Barricade, who looked uncomfortable as he approached the door.

"This place doesn't make your Spark shudder, bug?" he questioned lowly, "There's definitely something here," his armor bristled due to his wary state.

"It's here somewhere, guys." Sam stated, looking around the room. Leo scoffed, spotting only sand, walls, and a mosaic on the wall.

"Yeah? Why? 'Cause we're trusting Grandpa Blackbird who doesn't even know what planet he's on?"

"In his defense, this is the biggest doorway I've ever seen in my entire life."

"Okay. Well that's great. Let me do a quick search, all right?" Leo spun around sarcastically. "Uh, nope. Ever cross your mind, guys, that archeologists have been here before? There's nothing here." The others milled around aimlessly, while Sage focused on the mosaic. There was something off, she decided, about it. It contained a man, holding a metal staff, surrounded by others. Her eyes kept being drawn to it however, despite when Sam sat in front of it, putting his head in his hands.

"Real life is heartbreak, despair, kid." Simmons scolded, "Sometimes you get to the end of the rainbow, and the leprechauns went and booby-trapped it!"

"I'm listening to you? You live with your mother!"

"It's not over." Sam mumbled.

"It is over. It's done."

"Why are we still listening to you, little punk-ass?" Mudflap wondered, climbing into the room, Skids behind him. "I mean, what have you ever done for us except ding my rim?"

"Killed Megatron. How about that?" Skids stood up for him.

"Well, he didn't get the job done, you know what I mean, 'cause he's back now…"

"Are you scared?"

"Scared? Scared of your ugly face!"

"I'm ugly? Well, we're twins, you stupid genius!"

"Bring it, then! Get off me!" Simmons and Leo ducked as they started to tumble around

"I'll change your face around!"

"I'll get all up in that ass!" Skids jumped over Mudflap, his landing causing dirt to fly up.

"Bring it!" Mudflap dove, grappling his twin, only for Skids to fling him around, making Sage and Sam dive, as the red mech slammed into the mosaic.

"You like the way that feels?"

"That didn't hurt!"

"You like that, don't you?" Neither noticed Bee come up from behind, until he had snatched Skids up.

"Come on, Bumblebee!"

"Bumblebee, listen!" Mudflap lunged, except the scout caught him easily, bashing the two together before flinging them out the doorway, narrowly missing the skulking Con.

"Now that's rude."

Um... no new terms, nada? Wow, this chap followed the movie... ;p... I couldn't mess around with the perfection of Will callin Galloway a dumbass as he flies off the plane.

So I decided to post a second chap... cuz I felt horrible about not updating in so long.

So, yeah.

Much love, Iridian.
