And now for a story in Otherworld.
Yamcha shot straight up. He frantically looked around, confused as to how he moved from the mountains so suddenly. It had all seemed like a dream. He could remember fighting the saibaman and seemingly beating it. Things after that were all fuzzy. His friends calling out his name, a green blur, and then nothing. Nothing until he awoke here.
He got to his feet and began wandering around the white path infront. After walking for what seemed like forever, various puffs of white passing by him continously, he came across a familiar face, one he couldn't be any happier to see.
"Kami!" He said.
The elder namekian approached the Z-Fighter and extended his hand. "There's a lot to do." He said. "I've got to get you to Snake Way and then get Goku back to Earth. Quickly now."
Yamcha grabbed Kami's hand and two the instantly moved to King Yemma's office, the whole building shaking with souls moving left and right. "King Yemma..." Kami said cautiously.
"I'm busy." The ogre responded.
"Sir if I may." Kami said.
"I said that I'm busy!" King Yemma yelled. "Can you not see the mess I have to deal with thanks to those saiyans! We're not designed to deal with an entire planet dying at once!"
Kami stiffened straight up. "I'm sorry, King Yemma." He said.
The duo waited as the spirits were judged by King Yemma, each being sent either to Hell or Heaven. After what seemed like an eternity, Yamcha and Kami were able to approach the desk.
"Now what is it that is so important?" The ogre asked. "And if it has to do with King Kai, then the answer is no."
"But King Yemma," Kami said, "I promise that this is the last one to travel Snake Way."
"You made that promise last time, Kami of Earth." King Yemma said. "I can't go and let everyone you suggest pass through into the planet of a Kai." He sorted a stack of papers and placed them in a bin beside his desk. "Besides, a guardian should be informed of all current happenings on his planet. A promise such as that wouldn't be made if that was the case."
He pointed to the door as two ogres passed through, an unconscious Tien between their arms. "He was found like that not that long ago." King Yemma said. "In most cases those who keep their bodies wake up after a short time, but my workers say he'd been lying like that for awhile."
Yamcha rushed over to his friend and began shaking him. It didn't take long before Tien awoke, his head spinning and throbbing like crazy. "What happened?" He said groggily. "Where am I?"
"You're in Otherworld." Kami said. "The dimension between the living and the dead, as some say."
"So I've passed on, huh?" Tien said. "Explains Yamcha being here. But where's Chiaotzu?"
Kami looked at him with remorse. "I'm sorry, Tien." He said. "But when he died his body was completely destroyed. There was nothing left to bring over."
Tien looked down in grief before King Yemma let out a hearty chuckle. "Don't go getting all down on me." He said. "All your Kami said was that his body was destroyed. It's not like his soul disappeared too." He shuffled through a stack of papers and pulled out one of bottom ones. "With this track record, I don't see why I can't make the exception."
He gave the paper to one of the smaller ogres and sent him off. He then turned to another worker and said something to him, to which the ogre ran off and down a flight of stairs. "Just give us a bit of time and we'll have your friend back as good as new." King Yemma said.
Soon enough, the second ogre returned with an armful of what appeared to be Goku's nimbus. The first ogre returned with a wispy spirit in tow not long after. "You're sure this is the correct spirit?" King Yemma asked. The ogre nodded and brought the soul up to King Yemma's desk.
"Now let's see what I can't do here." King Yemma said. He began molding the Nimbus-like cloud into a human shape, making adjustments in every category until the spirit began resonating with the cloud. "That should do it." He said, bringing the cloud soul together. There was a tiny glow and when it faded Chiaotzu stood before them, wide-eyed and very confused.
"Chiaotzu!" Tien said, embracing the Z-Fighter.
"Now let's see if I can do something about that arm." King Yemma said. He held the rest of the cloud up to the missing part of Tien's arm. He didn't need to mold it to shape before the cloud resonated, connecting to Tien's arm and taking its form.
Tien was shocked at the feeling. It was as though his arm was never removed in the first place. "Thanks, sir." He said.
"No problem." The ogre said. "Now then, back to business. Kami of Earth, the last time I sent someone of yours to Snake Way I was unaware of the paperwork that needed to follow it. I'll also need to contact King Kai first to see if he'll even take these guys."
"Please do what you must, King Yemma." Kami said. "For these guys to get proper training with a Kai would prove very useful in the long run."
"I'll see what I can do." King Yemma said. "But I can not make promises."
"KAMI!" A familiar voice suddenly rang out. "We gotta get going!"
Goku burst through one of the entrances, almost crashing into Yamcha. "Come on! The saiyans are here!" He yelled.
Kami extended his hand out to Goku. "Here. Grab on!" He said.
Goku grabbed onto Kami's hand and the two vanished, leaving Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu dumbfounded. "Well hello to you too, Goku." Tien said.
