*Note: Master Lucius and Master Snape have afternoon tea to discuss marriage, mudbloods and loyalty. The mudblood makes afternoon tea.

CHAPTER TEN

Ordinace

Mudblood

Master Snape had been 'entertaining' Master Malfoy for over an hour now. When Master Malfoy arrived he had taken pleasure in seeing her scrubbing the floor without a magic. In true 'house-elf fashion' he had said. Not long after, Master Snape had ordered her to prepare some appetizers to keep her busy and out of ear shot. After preparing the meal she stood at the door, ear pressed to the wood.

"I understand your reservations Severus, but in this pivotal time, we must do our part to keep the wizarding world thriving. I am as unenthusiastic as you, the world could do with less half-bloods but unfortunately they are our working class."

"So if I fail to copulate, you will have no one to serve you drinks at the Leaky Cauldron?"

She heard Master Malfoy snort and reply, "No, do not be ridiculous Severus. Your children will be highly regarded and will likely hold established positions in the ministry but it depends on whom you marry."

"I have no interest in marriage, Lucius."

"Why not Severus?" growled Master Malfoy, "Your mother was a pure-blood Prince! You should be proud, ney elated, to have the opportunity to carry on such a blood-line."

"I requested to the Dark Lord to make me exempt from this ordinance,"

"Our Dark Lord requests you be a part of the solution Severus, not a part of the problem. I have already compiled a listed of suitable witches, none of them former students. You will marry a half-blood and fill her with children. Narcissa is pregnant again and Draco is having his first child! That is two more pureblood birth's from our family, we are doing our part; what are you doing Severus?"

Fearing being discovered eaves dropping, the girl gingerly knocked on the door. Opening it, she made her way over towards the table to place the tray. Master Snape ignored her, reaching for the pot of tea while Master Lucius leered at her.

"I have been working tirelessly towards the advancement of wizard kind. Dark potions the likes the world has never see. I have no time to entertain another."

"Is that so, my friend?" asked Master Malfoy, his fullest attention on the girl, "Yes, you do seem rather busy with your 'research' . . . and this mudblood."

She froze at her mention and hurried to take the sugar pot of the tray before Master Malfoy grabbed her by the arm, holding her in place.

"Are your 'needs' already being sated Severus?" demanded Master Malfoy suspiciously, "You were always fond of mudbloods. Such a relationship is a death sentence Severus!"

Master Snape hardly flinched, "I am aware, Lucius."

"Many of us have begun to question your loyalty Severus. Choosing to live in this traitor's home with a mudblood, who on countless occasions has defied our Lord."

Master Malfoy placed a small vial on the table containing an amber liquid that she was unfamiliar with.

"Have her drink this Severus," he barked, "Prove your loyalty."

An unknown potion was something she did not fancy ingesting but the punishment for defying an order was worse. If she was lucky, it might kill her.

"Fine. Take the vial girl, drink it!"

She took the potion, it tasted sickly sweet and coated her throat. Both Masters were eying her strangely and as she looked down to see why, she saw her pelvis was glowing bright amber.

"Well, we have learned something new today," sneered Master Snape at Master Malfoy, "The girl is a maid, and now if you don't mind Lucius I am extremely busy, please see yourself out."
