Day 14
Her Feelings
Yuuko's feet hung off of the couch as she looked up at the ceiling, deep in her thoughts of her twin brother. It's been two full weeks since he and Saki got together; and over that course of time, she had closely observed her brother... and when the opportunity arose, Saki also. She knew that the girl was hiding something, but she had no clue as to what it could be. She really wanted it to be some minor thing that didn't matter, but the feeling just wouldn't stop nagging her.
Then there was Hideyoshi.
He has been in higher spirits lately and doesn't keep his poker face on so often, smiling all the time when he is at home and showing more expression at school than usual. It should make her so very happy to see her brother having such a grand time; but, with knowing what she knew, it only made her sad. Yuuko didn't want him to get hurt, but what was there for her to do? She couldn't very well tell him to stop seeing her... not only would that cause a fight, there was also no real reason for her to tell him that. After all, she didn't know if Saki was hiding something simple... or something major.
She was... at a standstill.
All she can really do is just stand-by and watch... and be ready if Hideyoshi needed her for whatever reason. She really wanted to do more for him, but... this is all she can manage...
Yuuko sighed, turning on her side. "Hideyoshi... I'll protect you..." She whispered under her breath; and as she whispered those words, she just wished that it wouldn't come to that.
