Season 1, Episode 10: The Sacrifices

Previously On 'California Friends'; Brie and Melina end up kissing in the back of Jillian's car, Meanwhile Nikki confirms her pregnancy, and Brie finds out that Daniel has cheated on her, and Eve makes sure she get's rid of Kelly and Nattie in order for her to become the Diva's Champion.

Melina lays there on her bed, thinking about everything that happened last night, including the kiss. She wonders if Brie meant the kiss, or if the kiss happened because she was going through boy drama with Daniel. She lays there with so many questions going through her head and she wonders if anything out of that kiss was real. Melina desperately wants to let Brie know how she really feels, so she picks up her phone and starts dialing, she then pauses and doubts if the kiss even meant anything to Brie, and if Brie would even see Melina in that way. Melina convinces herself that Brie probably forgot about the kiss, so she puts the phone away and instead puts on some music, Legendary by Lou Barlow starts playing and Melina continues to lay just there in her room without taking any risks like telling Brie how she really feels.
Surely enough, Melina is wrong, because Brie actually didn't forget about the kiss, as she too sits there thinking about the event that happened last night. She sits there eating her cereal in the kitchen, she looks out the window and thinks about her true identity, she thinks about who she really is and whether she really has feelings for Melina, and if she ever even had feelings for Daniel. Brie sits there wondering about her life, she thinks about the kiss and if it was real, or if it was just curious experimentation. She feels like talking to somebody, so she picks up the phone to call Melina, but scared about what Melina might think, she instead puts it down and continues to eat her cereal. She looks out into the sun for some inspiration and for some understanding.
Later that evening Nikki and Brie drive off to John's house, to move Nikki's stuff to his house. They pull up to John's Malibu house, where Nikki will now be living.
"Wow it's gorgeous Nikki," Brie says as she takes out the boxes with Nikki's stuff from her car.
Nikki Bella then takes her sunglasses off to get a clearer view, "Right, you'll love the inside even more, come on," Nikki says as she grabs Brie by the arm, she walks to the front of the door, Nikki opens the door and Brie follows her in.
Brie spins in a circle, "Wow, I still can't believe you'll be living here Nikki," Brie says as the glass door in the back of the living room with the ocean view catches her eye.
"The Ocean view is my favorite," Nikki says as she follows Brie outside into the backyard.
John Cena comes from the front door, "I knew your sister would love the ocean view," John says as he walks in through the front door.
"John, I just came by to drop some of my things," Nikki says as she runs to hug her boyfriend.
Brie then walks over to shake his hand, "Nice to see you John, the 2 of you must be busy planning out all this baby stuff," Brie says.
John raises his eyebrows with confusion, "Uhh, what baby stuff...," John says with no clue to what Brie is talking about. Meanwhile behind John, Nikki is giving Brie signals for her to shut up, but Brie doesn't see the signals.
"Uhmm Nicole's pregnancy?" Brie says still not sure what Nikki is trying to tell her with all her signals, and oblivious to the fact that John still doesn't know.
John turns around to Nikki, "What pregnancy is she talking," John says still not feeling the reality of the pregnancy.
Brie puts her hands in her pockets, and she slowly starts walking out, "I'll give you guys some privacy," Brie says feeling more awkward and guilty than ever.
Brie walks out and stands near her car in the driveway, and right when she leans against the car to think about the craziness that's been going on lately... her phone rings, Brie get's her phone out and when she sees the name she quickly declines it, it was Daniel calling her for the 100th time. Her phone rings again, and after not picking it up so many times, she finally does pick it up, "Look Daniel, I only picked up to tell you to stop calling me," Brie says, but before she has the chance to hang up Daniel apologizes to her and tells her he want's to make it up to her and that he regrets what he did, so Brie doesn't hang up, she instead listens out until Daniel tries to say it never happened and that he never really was cheating. Brie rolls her eyes and laughs at the stupidity of Daniel's efforts to make her believe that he didn't cheat on her, she laughs because she knew what she saw, she knew the truth behind it.
"I have to go Daniel, I'm helping my sister move into John's place," Brie says trying hard not to let Daniel know how she really feels, so she then hangs up before she does show him her feelings.
Brie puts her phone back away into her purse, she sighs with relief because she didn't end up yelling at him or crying for him, or even cussing at him. Like her phone in her purse, she too keeps her feelings inside her, she only shows her feelings when she wants to, and inside her they stay protected from not getting lost or stolen.
Later that night, Eve faces Beth Phoenix for the Diva's Championship.
Meanwhile Nattie watches them from her laptop in the airport, little does Nattie know that Eve will end up winning that Championship, so she sits there eating a protein bar while she cheers Beth on.
After 7 minutes of wrestling Beth Phoenix picks Eve up for the Glam-Slam, Beth holds her there and Eve watches the audience, but it all looks blurry to her, all the memories go running through her mind, she then thinks about everybody she wants to be better than, so she rolls her arms away from Beth's and reverses it, thus pinning Beth down. She holds Beth's leg up and holds her down rough, 1...2...3... "Here's your winner and your new Diva's Champion- EVE," the ring announcer says through the microphone. Those 3 seconds felt like 3 minutes to Eve, and everything turned into a slow-motion movie scene for Eve, as she stands up and watches the referee bring her the title, she holds it up high and she smiles and in that moment she crowns herself the official best female wrestler in the entire roster, all while the audience cheers for her, little do they know how many people were sacrificed for that title, like Kelly and Nattie.
Beth Phoenix watches Eve jump with excitement from the corner of the ring, and all the way back in LA Kelly watches from her condo living room with a bad feeling in her stomach like someone just back-stabbed her, meanwhile in the airport Nattie gasps with frustration and the disappointment makes her close her laptop.
Eve is finally the champion again, for the 2nd time in her career, she stands there on the turnbuckle with her arms high up in the air.
