Chapter 9

Connected

Suzu's POV

I sighed looking at the ceiling in my room as my fan was going around and around. I heard the light snoozed of my adopted parents in the other room and that didn't bring a smile to my face to calm me down. My mind kept coming back to Bass, my half sister that I found out about more than 4 weeks ago. I wasn't connected to the world I grew up in, so I had no idea how or who told her about what happened. Who knows if she was in a different dimension that got later info. so she thought that Takashi was good and was trying to help her. I shook my head and got out of my bed to go to my kitchen that was over the noodle shop. I got a glass of water and just stared up for awhile thinking about what would happen to her with that monster telling her lies. "Ken, how do you do it?" I asked myself thinking about the time we were on this subject again.

Flashback

"You finished yet?" I asked while looking at him working on some invention he made.

"Almost." he shouted out from under whatever he was working on.

"What is this anyways, Ken?" I asked while looking around it that was about the same size as me.

"Well, since you said you wanted to talk to your sister, so I looked at your readies when you used to go into the girls' minds and created a machine that can do that just by wearing this helmet and thinking of who you want to go into." Ken exclaimed while coming out covering in dirt and oil from the machine.

"Omg, Ken that's perfect!" I squeaked while hugging him tightly not caring about the fact I was getting dirty. "Have I told you, you are a genius?"

"Hehe, yes lots of times." he grinned while scratching his head.

"Is it ready?" I asked getting more excited by the seconds.

"Should be, but maybe I should test it first."

"No, I want to get to talk to her as soon as possible." I said while placing the helmet on my head giving him a demanding look saying to get it going.

He sighed, "Alright." He turned on the machine and it started showing different colors until it made a weird noise and it started falling apart. "Suzu!" He shouted while immediately moving me out of the way as it fell to the ground. "You ok, Suzu? Suzu…?"

"I will never help my sister it's pointless." I sighed while looking down at the machine.

Ken took hold of my hand and smiled, "Now, don't be a downer on me, Suzu we can do this if we put our minds to it. I promise things will look up once we give it our all, ok?"

I smiled back and nodded, "You are right, Ken. We can do this; come on let's clean up." I took his hand while led him out of the room.

"Um, Suzu we were supposed to clean up."

"We are dirty and don't worry I will make sure you are very clean." I smirked getting a blush out of him.

"S-Suzu, we can't!" he blushed trying to run away.

"Aaw, just a little peak Ken, I don't bite…much." I giggled while holding him close so he wouldn't escape.

End of Flashback

I giggled softly to myself as I started drinking my water. Ken, right I need to stay positive not just for Bass, but for myself. I put the cup in the dish washer and made my way back to my room. I had an uneasy feeling in my stomach before I opened my door and just shook it off thinking I drunk the water too fast. I opened the door and found nothing was wrong or out of place. I got back into bed and just as soon as I did I heard whispers. "Huh?" I looked around and still heard them not really around me, they were outside my door. I wasn't one to be scared, so naturally I got up and when to the door. I knew I didn't have my powers anymore, but years and years of fighting skills didn't go out of my mind like that. I opened the door and my eyes grew big. "How?"

"Bell…Bell…Bell…" the whispers repeated as I stared into the dark swirls that wasn't the hallway of my house, but the swirls that would draw a people to go to someone else's mind or even into their dreams. I looked at my bed and saw my sleeping form still and I knew that I wasn't the one doing it. "Suzu…Suzu…Suzu…"

"Guess I have no choose." I sighed knowing the only the person who send me into this stage was the only one who could let me out or at least find a way out of here. I stepped right through the swirls feeling my door close behind me as I came into a garden filled with flowers of all kinds. In people's minds or dreams there is usually a set place they always imagine for their own reasons. When the girls where sent into my mind so I could destroy them they ended up in a place that relived my memories of my past since that was something that keep me going. True I didn't know they got to see my memories at first, but it started making sense to me. Whoever let me into their mind found this place to be their comfort zone.

"Good to see you like the place dear little sister."

I gasped and turned out, "B-Bass?"

"In the flesh well you know what I mean sister." she chuckled while coming up to me reaching for my face as I closed my eyes waiting for a slap or something, but it never came. I opened my eyes to see that she placed a rose in my hair and step back to look at me. "Heh, you remind me of Snow White with that red blood rose in your white hair."

"Why have you brought me here, Bass?" I asked as she walked to butterfly bush that had purple and white lilacs on it.

"I can't talk to my sister, the little traitor?" she asked while burning up the bush in a flash.

"Bass, my not a traitor just hear me out Tak-"

"Why the hell would I believe you!?" she hissed burning another pair of bushes with flowers on it.

"Because Bass, I seen the world, this place for what it really is, I also saw father. He told me Takashi was tricking him, he the one who really-"

"Silence!" she growled while slapping me on my cheek and I could feel the burning of my flesh as she used her hand that was on fire to hit me. "You dare say all that garbage to me. You had all the power in the world to destroy them; you got Takashi to give you an extra boost, and couldn't ever kill one of them! Father was never known not to kill someone that threatened his family and you can't even respect that."

"Bass, he was being control most of the time being poison even since our great great grandfather sold our freedom to Takashi! I'm telling you the truth!" She grabbed my neck and I could feel her grab getting tighter and the flames and the smell of burning flesh really scared me as I looked into my sister's eyes; black as the a night sky with no stars. I could see my fright expression in her eyes as she looked blankly at me.

"Know why I brought you here dear sister?" she asked while she let me nod a no. "I want you to tell me the weaknesses of the Powerpuff Z and Rowdyruff Z other than themselves."

"I can't do that they are my friends." I whimpered out feeling my feet being lifted off the ground.

"And we are sisters, half-blood related family members, we are united more than they could possible be. Why side with the losing side sis?" she said softly as I saw that my mind was linking together with hers. My white office like room was now filled with flowers making it bright up, it looked less cold. "See? Even our minds can be one."

"I…" I was scared, worried, and confused all at the same time as a looked around our minds. What if she was right? What if I was supposed to be close to her to help her out of this situation? Maybe I could save her myself? I was about to give my answer when I saw my screen playing memories of the girls, the boys, my friends at school, and Ken. I knew something or someone would be hurt if I give in now. "No, I can't Bass this isn't right. The Puffs Z and the Ruffs Z are here to help us and they can help you understand things please stop before this goes horribly wrong." She looked at me not saying anything at the moment and her eyes looked like they had soften until she threw me right into a rose bush as I felt the thorns digging into my skin at the forces she throw me.

"Well, I tried to be nice about this sister but you wouldn't work with me." Bass stared while I saw her bass come into her hands. "Guess I'm going to have to hurt you to get the answers I want."

"Bass please don't…"

Dreadful Noise!

I saw at the black wave of noise that was coming at me and only one word came out of my mouth. "KEN!"

Professor's House/Lab(Ken's POV)

"Suzu!" I gasped while waking up in a cold sweat and feel like something was really wrong. I looked at my clock seeing it read 1:31am and knew nobody would be awake at this hour. I thought I hear Suzu's voice…was I dreaming? I wasn't a big believe that people can connect through each other's dreams; until Suzu or Bell attacked the girls in her mind. I felt this aching pain in my chest and knew Suzu was in trouble. I grabbed my phone and called her. One…two…three…not good. Suzu was a light sleeper when it came to her phone ringing. She would read who it was in one ring; if it was anyone she knew she would answer on the third ring if it was me it was the second. "Oh gosh."

"Mm you ok Ken wan?" asked a sleepy Peach as I ran out my bed to the calling screen calling the girls and boys.

"Ugh, this had better be good or I'm ringing someone's neck." growled Kaoru on the screen and all of them nodded in agreement.

"It's Suzu, I think something wrong with her!"

"How do you know that Ken?" yawned Riku while rubbing his eyes to wake him up a little more.

"I heard her screaming my name in my head."

They all looked at them like I was crazy and Chika was the once to speak up. "Ken, I think you just had a bad dream."

"Yeah, little dude go back to sleep." said Kukai trying to get himself back to sleep.

"No, it wasn't! Suzu is in trouble I'm sure of it!" I said feeling more hurt in my heart and I must have looked scared to them because I saw them look at each other.

"Ok, Ken the girls and I will go check and the boys will come to comfort you." said Momoko as they all nodded in agreement.

"Thank you." I said while they signed out their screens and I saw the lights of girls and boys light up meaning they had transformed.

"What happened, Ken da wan?" asked Peach while coming in looking at me.

"I don't know Peach, but I'm worried." Suzu…I really hope I'm wrong about this.

City(Blossom's POV)

"Ugh, I hate working at night." yawned Buttercup while we flew to Suzu's house/noodle shop.

"I know, but we have to check for Ken that look said it all." I said while remembering the look he gave us and it was one the boys or we would give when we felt something was wrong.

"She's right." Blazze said who was right beside me as we came to Suzu's window. We saw the curtains were closed, but we did hear noise almost like someone struggling. I nodded at Blazze to go in and she teleported inside and she mentally screamed to us. "Oh my gosh guys this isn't good!"

"What, what wrong?" I asked back as Bubbles and Buttercup looked at me nervously.

"This!" Blazze nearly shouted while opened the window and was holding Suzu in her arms, but she struggling and her body was covering in cuts and burns.

"Oh my gosh, let's get to the Professor's now!" I panicked as we took off to his house. As soon as we got there the boys were trying to keep Ken calm, but when he saw Blazze holding Suzu looking like that he freaked out again.

"What happened?" Ken panicked while going right up to her taking her hand. "She's burning up!"

"We don't know I found her like this in her bed." Blazze said while laying her on the table that we were usually laid on.

"Help…Ken…Stop!" mumbled Suzu while she was kicking at the air and then her leg was covered in burns in seconds.

"Suzu!" we all shouted.

"Oh-no." the boys stared while their eyes seemed to widen with fear.

"What?" we asked.

"Doesn't this remember you of when you girls were in Bell's mind world?" asked Brick while we all knew what was happening now.

"Ken, do something that will make her wake up!" cried Bubbles hating to see Suzu hurt like this.

"I can't do that. Bass probably knows that we would try something like that and it works different for different people."

"Than what do we do let her suffer?" asked Butch while Buttercup hitting him hard for saying something like that in front of Ken.

"Don't worry we will think of something Ken." I said while touching his shoulder before I saw him starting to cry.

"Wait! I think I have a way, but I don't know if the bugs are out of it."

"Come on, Ken if it's the only way to help Suzu, we will do it." I said while the others nodded in agreement.

"Guys…you are right." he replied while going into room and pulled out a machine that looked just the sized of Suzu. "This machine was going to help Suzu get into Bass's mind."

"What? Are you guys craz-" started Brick, but I covered his mouth wanted Ken to continue.

"She wanted to talk some senses into her, but it broke until I fixed it." Ken said while putting a helmet on Suzu's head and connecting 4 our helmets to the machine then pressed a few buttons. "I reworked it so you can go into her mind, but I don't know if you have to go through your minds or Bass's mind to get to her."

"It's ok I'm sure we can figure it out." Blazze said about to take a helmet until Bam stopped her.

"You girls aren't going in there." Bam said while I saw the boys nod.

"Why not? We are the only ones who know what it looks like." Buttercup said in a matter of fact tone as she took the helmet away from Butch.

"But, what if you get stuck in there?" whimpered Boomer while we started putting on the helmets and laid on the table next to Suzu.

"You will just have to awake us like last time." I said while I nodded to Ken to get it started.

"You better not get stuck in there." they said in a good luck way to their minds.

"We will try." we said while our eyes closed and we when into dreamland.

Dreamworld aka Mindworld(No One's POV)

When the girls opened their eyes they found themselves no in Suzu's white office-like mind. Instead they found themselves in a like M. C. Escher painting called 'Relativity', but instead of stairs going every way it was bookshelves filled with books. "Where are we?" asked Blossom while the girls looked at Blazze for an answer.

"I don't know…but it looks like I been here before or at least felt like I have been here." She said while looking at the place with dazed eyes.

"Well, we don't have time for this we need to find Suzu." Buttercup snapped while she took off flying.

"Wait, Buttercup!" they shouted following her, but when they all came around the corner they were all in different areas of the place. Blossom was upside down while Bubbles was just 2 shelves away from her sideway as Buttercup was right side up and Blazze was across.

"Hey, how did you get there!" they shouted at each other and saw the state they were in.

"Why are you upside down, Buttercup." asked Blossom looking at the green Puff Z above her.

"What, no you are the one upside down."

"You guys are going to fall standing sideway like that." pouted Bubbles as they looked at her crazy.

"Hold up guys, this is like a maze that turns our different directions. From looking at the spot we just were Buttercup is the one the right way, Blossom you are upside down, Bubbles you are sideways, and I'm across."

"So, where's the exit?" asked Buttercup looking around.

"No, we need to get back to each other 1st." Bubbles pouted not wanting to be trapped in maze without the girls.

"We can just go across no a b- ow!" she said while rubbing her head on a invisible force field around her area.

"Hmm, I guess wherever we are doesn't want use to take the easy way." said Blazze while looking around.

"Ok, let meet back at the spot and then we can figure out what to do from there." Blossom stated while they nodded and started going through different paths to try to get them back to where they were. Blazze found her way back very easy like she knew actually where she was going and where it led to. She watched as the girls where going in different places they were for a while until the ended back at their 1st spots they were in.

"Ugh, this is hopeless." growled Buttercup while hitting a bookshelf.

"How did you get there so easily Blazze?" asked Bubbles.

"I don't know I just felt like I knew..this…place…oh my gosh why didn't I see it before we are in my mind!"

"Huh?" they stared confused at they looked at her.

"Remember what Ken said we might not end up in Suzu's mind right away so we might end up in different minds and this one is mind."

"I'm still not getting it." Blossom sweat dropped while Bubbles and Buttercup agreed.

"Ok, listen to me Blossom go around that left bookshelf and turn right then you will be here."

"But, I just came that way how am I going to-"

"Just do it!" shouted Blazze as Blossom sighed and did as she said then in seconds she was standing on Blazze's left side.

"Whoa!" they said surprised it worked.

"Ok, Bubbles you take a right another right then left and Buttercup you go around that bookshelf on your right." They did what they were told and they ended up right next to their leader and nerd of the group.

"Alright! I guess you were right so where the exit?" asked Buttercup ready to get out of this library labyrinth.

"Take my hand and follow me." she said while they grabbed hands and Blazze lead then left, left, right, then one last left to a door. She opened it and they saw yellow swirls. "This is my exit out of my mind."

"Ok, on to Suzu's mind." Bubbles said while they stepped into the swirls feeling the door close and they landed in Candyland?

"Candy!" shouted Blossom as she starting eating everything her hands could get on.

"What the- how did we end up in Candyland?" groaned Buttercup as Bubbles and Blazze looked around their surrounding starting to walk ahead.

"Well, we must have gone into another mind and judging by how Blossom just acted its hers." said Blazze while wiping her shoe on the graham cracker walkway since she stepped on a melted chocolate chip.

"Well, then she can get us out of here." smiled Bubbles. "Hey, where is Blossom?"

"Such tasty taiyaki!" Blossom grinned with hearts in her eyes and was eating another one.

"Blossom! Stop eating and get your ass down here so we can save Suzu!" Buttercup yelled at her.

"Ok, ok…just one more bite or two."

"Bloss-!" the girls started, but stopped hearing a gloppy sound behind them. They turned around and there stood 3 monsters like cotton candy men. "You got to be kidding me."

"ROOWWAARR!" they shouted out sending a few candy trees away and nearly knocked them over.

"Man, guess Blossom's mind is screwed up." said Buttercup.

"Hey!"

"No time for that let's go guys." Bubbles sighed stopping them before they started.

"Right." Buttercup and Blazze said while readying themselves since they didn't have their weapons still.

"Hiyaa-!" started Buttercup, but when she swung at the monster that was close to her, her fist got stuck in the sticky candy. "Hey, give my hand back!" she growled while pulling on her hand trying to get it out as the monster pulled her into itself.

"Let go of my foot!" panicked Bubbles who tried to kick the head off the cotton candy monster, but like Buttercup's fist Bubbles got her foot stuck in the sticky mess.

"What is the meaning of this?" stared Blazze trying to figure of what they could do as she tried to dodge the monster's punches. "Wait a minute-!" she started as the monsters wrapped it's arms around her as she started getting engulf in the candy like the green and blue Puff Z were nearly cover too. "Blossom help- mmm!"

"I'm coming guys!" Blossom said while jumping down in front of the monsters. Think Blossom think how to get rid of…candy…this is too easy. "Time to meet your maker you tasty sweets." she grinned while jumping on the one with Blazze in it and eating it all up like a wild animal who hadn't eating in days. When she was done she moved on to the next two freeing the girls. "Mmm that was good."

"You just…eat them…?" they said while staring at her in disbelief.

"Yup, I know, I know I'm amazing."

Buttercup shook her head and said, "Alright, alright you had your fun now show us the way out."

"That's right your leader will lead the way." Blossom said sounding all mighty as Bubbles and Blazze sweat dropped and Buttercup rolled her eyes. She moved a giant peppermint off a lollipop tree and the door was right there. Blossom opened the door and pink swirls would lead them out of her mind, but to who knows where next.

"Let's go!" said Buttercup pushing them in as the door closed behind them and they looked to see they didn't end up in Suzu's mind; instead they were standing in the middle of a wrestling ring.

"Guess we already know whose mind we are in now." said Bubbles looking around at all the seats of the stadium.

"Well, we better get out of my mind quickly so we can save Suzu."

"Actually to tell you true it might feel like we've been in here for minutes at a time, but we are probably moving seconds since our minds think quicker to react to things." Blazze informed them.

"So, Buttercup where's the door you don't want to keep your leader waiting." said Blossom proudly as Blazze held back Buttercup's hand from throwing a chair at her.

"It's the over there." she nearly growled out while pointing to a set of double doors.

"Then let's go." Blossom said about to fly across when a masked wrestler appeared blocking her path.

"No pass until you defeat me!" he yelled while showing off his muscles.

"Heh, this is going to b-" started Buttercup as Blossom got in front of her.

"Let's your leader handle this Buttercup." she said while flying at the guy going in to punch him in the face. Blazze wasn't sure that Blossom should be doing this for one she just ate a whole buck of candy well mind candy and this wasn't her mind. Blazze figure out how to get out of her mind and Blossom could be the only one to eat all that cotton candy to get out of her own mind, so…

"Blossom, you can't do it!" Blazze panicked as the leader was knocked back to them being tangled into the ropes.

"Ugh, what happened? I defeated the monsters in a few seconds ago why can't I hit him?" she cried while Bubbles help her out of the ropes.

"Because this is Buttercup's mind she's the only one who can defeat her own mind just like we did ours."

"Yeah, so leave this to me, Ms. Leader Girl, I got this one." Buttercup smirked while cracking her knuckles and flying at the wrestler. Just like he did with Blossom, he threw a punch at her, but Buttercup was prepared and grabbed his arm then slammed him on the ring.

"Grrr." he groaned while getting up looking at her.

"That all you got big guy." she laughed while the wrestler got up to ran at her fast. She quickly grabbing his neck and did a 180 degree stunner slamming his head to the ring. She pick him up and ran at the ropes pressing him as far as she could get him then let him go making him go back and forth behind the sets of rings. Buttercup grabbing him in mid-passing and did a powerslam knocking him out cold. "Yeah, yeah I'm the great!"

"Nice going Buttercup." the girls cheered hugging her. "You looked so cool."

"Thanks." she grinned while flying them over to the double doors and opening it to green swirls.

"Guess it's Bubbles's mind next, so be ready." Blossom said to Bubbles as they made their way in and saw they were standing in the biggest mall they ever seen in their life.

"Definitely Bubbles's mind." the girls said as Bubbles giggled.

"So many stores to choose from." Bubbles smiled with stars in her eyes drooling at all the clothes, shoes, and more she wanted to buy.

"Bubbles forces remember." sweat dropped Blazze.

"Oh, right sorry." she smiled while looking around and tried feeling for the door, but found it wasn't showing up. "I can't sense it."

"What do you mean you can't sense it?" asked Buttercup.

"Just as it is I don't feel it."

"Ok, we should spilt up and search." said Blossom.

"I don't think that's a good idea remember we nearly got lost in my mind." Blazze reminded them and they nodded in agreement.

"Ok, let stick together until Bubbles feels her door maybe we are to far down." Blossom suggested while they nodded and started working their way up. As they did that it seems they weren't getting closer to finding that door and Bubbles was forcing really hard trying to help. Once they climbed to the 121 floor they had to sit down to breath.

"Where could that door be?" sighed Blazze while fanning herself.

"No clue." Buttercup and Blossom groaned out.

"Can I look at the clothes for awhile?" asked Bubbles as they looked at her giving them puppy dog eyes.

"Go ahead."

"Yay!" she smiled while flying over to the clothes in one of the stores.

"Now, how do you think we getting out of here?" asked Buttercup.

"Beats me." sighed Blazze making no sense of it. "I mean we found ours easily, Bubbles's mind is more of a maze than mine."

"Maybe she doesn't need to think of the door." said Blossom.

"Then what could it be a portal?" asked Buttercup in a joking matter.

"Guys! I found a way to get out of here!" shouted Bubbles from in the stores.

"What?" they said while running in the store where she was at.

"It's in the dressing room anyone of them would have worked." she smiled while opening some of the curtains and the blue swirls showing the way out.

"How did you find it?" they asked while looking at it.

"I was looking at the clothes then I remembered that the only way you can get out of a clothes store is to try it on." she smiled.

"Um, ok whatever works let's go!" they said pushing Bubbles in as the curtain close behind them and they finally found that they were in Suzu's mind; but it was different since it was covered in flowers.

"Are we in Suzu's mind?" asked Blossom looking around while they started walking ahead of them.

"Yes and no; we might be in Suzu's and Bass's mind." Blazze said.

"How?" they asked while they saw a cloud of smoke going up as they flew to it.

"Well, they are sisters, so maybe their minds can connect to each other." she said as the girls came in to see Suzu getting throw into a pillar.

"Suzu!" they yelled while flying to her, but they were blasted with a black energy into a wall as pieces covered them.

"How the hell did you get in here?" growled Bass while staring them down as they started getting out of the rumble.

"We have many ways, but we are here to get Suzu out of here." said Blossom while the girls ready themselves.

"Oh, I see you want to get out of here." Bass stared then a smirk came on her face. "This is mainly my world not yours and I can do whatever I want." Just as the girls where going to get Suzu the flowers wrapped around them pinning them to the pillars. As the girls struggled to get free the flowers would grow thorns digging into their skin. "Now, with them out of the way I can deal with you." Bass said while picking up her sister by the collar of her torn pj top. "Tell me now what their weaknesses are?"

"That's why you are hurting her?" yelled Buttercup while trying to move off the pillars, but it wasn't doing a thing.

"She's your sister you shouldn't be taking it that far!" Bubbles said while getting her hand free, but a flower immediately covered it and slammed it on the pillar.

"What ever it takes." Bass said not ever looking at them staring at Suzu coldly. "So, weaknesses please."

"I-I won't ever tell you sister ugh!" Suzu said while Bass's grip grabbed her neck. "Bass they are good people who care about everyone especially their family. They treat me like family and they could do it to you too…just stop." The girls gave a soft smile to Suzu who was smiling a bit at them knowing that was completely what they did think of her.

"Family? Well, you can rot with your family in hell!" she said while throwing her at them and sending a beam of black energy.

"Eeeck!" shouted Suzu feeling her body already giving out on her as she went flying.

"Suzu!" the girls shouted and with all their might they broke the flowers that were around them and Blazze caught Suzu as the girls held up their hands making the black energy bounce off from the white light that came from them. Bass growled and jumped out of the way as the blast hit the garden that was in Suzu's mind. When it cleared Suzu's mind was back to normal and the girls were glaring at Bass.

"We know that you are Suzu's half sister, but we will not allow you to hurt her anymore." Blossom said while Blazze got up holding Suzu's sleeping form in her arms.

"She's are special family member away from our families and we won't allow to hurt family." said Blazze.

"Get out of here before we take you down for good." Buttercup growled knowing that she would be the only one to really do that.

"Heh, I will believe it when it see it." Bass laughed while disappearing cleaning up the damage the place went through.

"But, I hope it doesn't come to that." whimpered Bubbles as the group of girls made their way through a door with white swirls signaling that was their way out.

Outside Minds

Each of them woke up to be taking into a pair of strong arms then pressed into a chest. "Thank goodness you girls are ok." the boys sighed with relief.

"Duh, we are fine just a little scratches here and there I can heal them." Buttercup said while pushing Butch away from her with a light blush.

"Suzu are you ok?" Ken asked still holding her close to him as if his life depended on it. Buttercup was now healing the little girl as she just nodded relaxing each minute Ken held her close to his now calmed heartbeat.

"We should get you girls home and we should get Suzu home too. We don't want her parents getting worried seeing her not there." Brick said after a few moments of silence had passed. They nodded as Ken slowly gave Suzu up as she smiled at him trying to calm him down.

"I will be fine Ken…I'm going to try putting up a barrier to my mind, but…I doubt she will come back." she said a bit unsure herself, but she knew she worried him too much tonight. He nodded a little then the group went back to their homes to get a well needed rest; but just waking up Bass was sitting up smirking.

"Iche take it thou didn't get awiht?" Takashi said knowing from the smirk on her face that she got something or another.

"Oh, I got something alright…they weakness will now be putty in my hand." she grinned as the powder eagerly a waited for her next move to come into play.
