Hey Guys! I know it's been ages but here I am again. With the new season of The Originals, I felt inspired again and wanted to go back to this story. Hope you guys enjoy it and thanks for all the review and favorites!

"Skyler, calm down. We're going to be arriving home soon and I promise I'll explain everything there." Davina said. "We're not safe, yet."

Skyler was shocked. She couldn't understand what was going on. She was trying to figuring out who the man driving was but she had never seen him before.

"Who is he? You're new chauffeur or something like that? Why aren't you at boarding school?"

"His name is Marcel. He's been taking care of me, protecting me."

"Protecting you from what?"

"I'll explain everything soon." She said as Marcel pulled the car over behind some building. It was very dark and there was no street light around. Everybody got out of the car. Skyler followed them inside. Her sister had put her arm around her waist and was helping her walk. She was feeling a little bit dizzy.

They go through a small door and inside she realized they were at a church. It was dark and only a few candles were lit. They kept walking to some old wooden stairs. Once they were on the second floor, Marcel opened another small door. There was a small room. Inside ther bed with white sheets, a desk and more candles where lit. She guessed her sister lived there. But why? Skyler had so many questions.

"Do you want me to stay?" Marcel said to Davina.

"No, it's fine. I'll handle this now. Thanks, Marcel." She said as Marcel nodded and closed the door.

Davina helped her sister sat on the bed. "Are you okay, Sky?"

"I mean, yes. But I'm not understanding what is going on. Why are you here? How did you find me? Where's Grace? And Klaus? I'm pretty sure he's worried. I should call him." She said while trying to look for her phone but it was nowhere near her. "Do you know where it is?"

"No, Sky, and I don't think it is a good idea for you to call him. Silas is pretty close to find you. You should have zero contact with anyone."

"What do you mean? How do you know about Silas?"

"I guess you don't know yet." Davina took a deep breath before speaking again. "This is going to be hard to explain. I'm still trying to figure out why." She said. "We... We have some sort of bond. We are connected. I'm mean I'm connected to you. Sometimes I can see where you are. It only happens when you are in danger and Silas is near you. Like someone linked us so I could protect you if he's close to you. That's why I know about Silas."

"So how can you protect me? I mean, you're my little sister. What can you possibly do?"

"Well... I'm a witch."

"What?"

"I'm... I'm a witch."

"A what?" She was shocked. "You're not a witch... aren't you?"

"I am. You don't know because mom and dad don't want to talk about it. Not even with me."

"That's why they've sent you away?"

"Yes." Davina said with a sad tone. She began to explained, "You were away at boarding school, but when I was 8 years old, I had began to show signs of... witchcraft. Mom and Dad were shocked and scared and try to hid it, avoid it. That's when one of the witches from New Orleans came home one day. She had had a vision of me and went to find me. She talked to Mom and Dad and they'd agreed to sent me away with her, here, so she could teach me how to control it."

"Davina, my little sister, I'm so sorry that I wasn't there for you." Skyler hugged her. "If only I would of have been a better sister and pay more attention."

"It's alright, Sky. You didn't knew."

"But still, I've never shown any affection towards you. I've actually became to hate you at some point because Mom and Dad were always talking about you. I was the worst." She looked straight towards Davina's eyes. "But now we are together and I promise I'm going to be right there with you."

"Thanks, Sky." Davina told her with a smile. She was very happy to see her sister again. "I'm happy we got to be together again."

"Me too." Now, Skyler's face changing from happiness to confusion."So, do you have flashbacks as well?"

"I do. We've come a long way from other lifetimes. I don't know much about our beginnings but I'm searching a lot about it."

"Wow." Skyler was surprised. "But why I have never seen you in mine?"

"Because from some reason, that I still don't know about, I've tried to stay away from you as far as possible." Davina explained. "What I do know is that I'm the one responsible to make sure you don't get kill so no one can have the cure."

Skyler thought for a minute. "But wait... What about that time that Rebekah, Klaus' sister, killed me? How did that happened if I'm not meant to be killed? I mean, the only weapon that can killed me is a dagger that only Silas has."

"Well, I had a lot to do with that." Davina told her. "Once I had heard Rebekah and Klaus arguing, I went to your room and cast a spell on of the maids. I made her look like you. I knew that if she tried to kill you and that wouldn't worked, it'd get weird and people could be able to find about the cure."

"Wow, umm..." Skyler said, surprised. "So, Silas... is he going to find me here? Are we safe from him?"

"Don't worry. You have a spell now and he is no going to be able to find you. You just have to stay in New Orleans. You can't get out of the limits of the city"

Skyler nodded. There were a few minutes of silence.

"So, there goes my next question... What about Grace and Klaus?" Skyler finally spoke. Davina took a deep breath. She knew what she was about to tell her was not going to be easy.

"Klaus doesn't know where you are... And I don't know where he is, either." She said.

"And Grace?" She asked. "Why isn't she here with us?"

"Well..." Skyler could see that her sister was avoiding that subject and that was making her nervous. "Once I knew Silas was about to find you, I told Marcel that I had to get to you as soon as possible, as you know, my job is to protect you from him." Davina explained. "When I had arrived, Silas was so close. I had to act quick." Her face was starting to show regret. "I did a spell on Grace and turned her into you. Marcel took you and we were off back to New Orleans."

Skyler was not speaking. Her eyes were looking at the floor with tears in them.

"Sky, I'm so sorry but have to know that I'm made to protect you. I can't do anything else but that. I don't know but I swear I meant no harm to Grace." Davina was begging for her sister to not be mad. She wouldn't bare to lose her sister again.

"You did the same thing as the maid?" Davina didn't answer. "So, Grace is... dead?" Her voice cracked.

"I don't know, Sky." Davina said softly with a sad tone. "Hopefully not."

"I can't believe you've done that to my friend... my best friend!" Skyler shouted.

"Sky, I'm so sorry. You have to understand that I can't help but saving you first."

Skyler was not listening to her. She couldn't breath. She had to get out of that place. She wanted everything to end. Skyler opened the door and started running.

"Skyler! Please, don't go! Come back!" She could hear her sister screamed. Davina wanted to go but she knew that if she got out, the witches were going to find her and like that she wouldn't be of any help to her sister. Maybe she needed some space for a little while.

Skyler kept running. This city was knew to her and she didn't know where to go. She had stopped running as she started to see more people on the street. Maybe she was getting closer to the center of the city.

A bar, she knew she needed a bar. She was feeling safe on the street, with the whole Silas thing, even though she knew he wouldn't be able to find her but still, she was scared.

"We have to find him." Klaus said, determined. "We need to get a witch and track him down. I am going to kill him." He was breathing heavily and that same time trying to control his grieve.

"Klaus..." Elijah said, looking behind him. His brother turned around. He could see that Skyler's body was starting to change. Her hair was getting blonder, the face was changing. That was not Skyler... It was Grace. Her now lifeless body. Klaus and Elijah looked at each other in confusion. "What is happening?"

"I am not sure." Klaus said, shocked. "If that is Grace, where is Skyler?"

"I do not think she is here. I cannot hear anyone around."

"Me neither."

Suddenly, Klaus' phone rings. He saw the name on the screen.

"Marcellus. What a surprise." He said, trying to change his voice to his normal one.

"Klaus." Marcel answered, coldly. "I'm going to make this call quick but just because I don't want your problems in my city." He explained first.

"Go on." He said, while looking at Elijah. They were both listening carefully.

"I know about Silas. I went to the house that you probably are right now and got this girl Skyler out of it. I know her sister, who is a witch and we tracked her down. I just want you to come for her and get her out of the city before more problems come around."

"And why should I trust you?"

"As I said before, I don't want your problems in here. She has a spell where Silas can't track her down while she's in the city. I give you 24hs or else I'm kicking her out."

Klaus hated when they threaten him but this time it was about Skyler. "I'm on my way." He said, coldly. He hang up the phone and ran to the car. His brother went behind him.

"Hey. What can I do for you?" A petite woman with brunette hair snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Hi. Um... the strongest you have." The bartender simply nodded while grabbing a glass.

"So, what's up with you? You don't seem to be happy in such a festive night." She said while looking outside the bar. People were in the middle of a carnival, celebrating, but Skyler was the only one inside the bar.

"It's... complicated. You wouldn't understand."

"Well..." The woman said while giving her a glass of the strongest whisky. "Don't you have anyone to talk to?"

"I do... It's just that I've lost my phone and you know how this era works." The bartender looked at her confused. "Once the number it's on the phone you'll never remember it again." They both snorted. It was a sad fact but true. Skyler took a big sip of her drink.

"Anyway, I'll let you enjoy it then." Skyler nodded and took another one.

The bartender went to the kitchen. Another woman was in there cutting some food.

"Are you sure that's her, Sophie?" Sophie stopped and looked straight to her sister's eyes.

"You know my gift never fails, Jane-Anne."

"And what about the other one? Hayley?" She said, remembering all the work they had given just to get the wrong girl.

"I know I failed but, in my defense, she was indeed pregnant. It's just wasn't his." Sophie explained. "But I'm sure this time, it's her." She said, while looking at an already dizzy girl finishing the last bit of her drink.

"Well, that drink won't take long to make effect. I've already locked the restroom so she's going to come here at any moment."

"You didn't gave her real alcohol, right?"

"Of course not and she didn't notice either."

"Very well." She said while cleaning her hand on the apron and took it off. "I'll get the car." Her sister nodded while Sophie opened the door to the back of the bar.

"Hey, um..."

"Jane-Anne."

"Jane-Anne. Lovely name by the way." Skyler said. "The restroom is closed. Do you have another one? I'm not feeling very good."

"Sure. There's one over there."

"Th-Thanks." Skyler could barely speak. What was happening to her? Just one drink and she's already about to vomit? But before she could open the door, she went blank.

The next day

"I think it will be for the best for us to apart." Elijah said, while stepping out of the car. So did Klaus. "Besides, I do not think it will be a good idea for Marcel to know that we are both here."

"You're right." Klaus agreed. "I'll go and find him."

"And I will try to look from behind the scene."

While Elijah went away, Klaus could hear loud music coming from a bar nearby. He started walking towards it. He entered a bar where Marcel was performing karaoke on stage.

"Thank you!" Said Marcel while stepping out of the small stage while greeting people. Sensing Klaus, Marcel pauses before looking over at him. His companions notice the sudden tension.

"Klaus."

"Marcel."

"Must be a hundred years since that nasty business with your papa." He said with a grin.

"Has it been that long?" Klaus and Marcel started to approach one another slowly.

"The way I recall it, he ran you outta town. Left a trail of dead vampires in his wake."

"And yet how fortunate you managed to survive." Klaus told him. "My father, I'm afraid, I recently incinerated to dust."

"Anyway, what do you think if we end with this business once and for all." He whispered, getting closer to Klaus. He didn't want the rest to hear about it.

"Where is she?" He simply asked, already getting anxious about getting her back.

"Come with me. I'll take you to her." He told him while getting out of the bar.

A few minutes later, they where at the front of an old church.

"Marcel, if this is a set up... I'm telling you it's not going to end well... for you." They started walking into the church and going to the stairs that led to the upper floor.

"Don't worry, Klaus." Marcel said, this time with an honest face. "She's really in here..." But once he opened the door, it was just Davina sitting on the floor trying to make an spell.

"Where have you been, Marcel?!" Davina said desperate. Klaus was looking at her, confused. She looked a lot like Skyler. "Skyler is gone since last night!"

"But why? Where is she? Why did she leave?"

"Because she found out about her friend's death. I couldn't hide it from her any longer and she ran away." Davina started to cry.

"Shh... don't worry. I'm going to find her." He comforted her but when he looked back to talked to Klaus, he was already gone. "Damn it." He muttered. Now he had a angry, desperate original going around town. "I have to go but I promise you we are going to find her." He kissed her on her forehead and left in a supernatural speed.

It was already dark in New Orleans and Klaus still didn't have any clue of where to find Skyler. The feeling of her still being alive and not knowing where she was or how to track her was killing her. Suddenly his phone rang.

"Elijah. Please tell me you find her."

"Not still but I think I might be close." He answered. "I heard there is a witch that is looking for the cure. They might have her." Klaus growled.

"Who is she?"

"Jane-Anne Deveraux." Klaus hanged up and start dialing another number.

"Marcel."

"Klaus, where are you at?"

"I need to find Jane-Anne Deveraux. I think she has her."

"Jane-Anne?" Marcel thought for a moment. "Meet me at the corner of Royal and St. Anne."

"I'm on my way."

Once Klaus arrived at the location he could see a crowd of people beginning to form. Vampires walk along rooftops and jump on cars, setting off alarms. A large group follows Marcel.

"Klaus, there you are." He said while putting his arm around him.

"What is all this about? Where is Skyler?"

"Just wait for a minute. I'm going to find her but first I need to give this witch a lesson. As you know, no one can do magic without my permission and she's been doing that for the past days."

Marcel whistled with his fingers and the crowd cheered. One vampire brought forward Jane-Anne, whose wrists were bound with rope in front of her.

"Jane-Anne Deveraux! Give it up for Jane-Anne! Come on, let's hear it!" Marcel shouted to everyone witnessing the scene. "Jane-Anne Deveraux, you have been accused of the practice of witchcraft beyond the bounds of the rules set forth, and enforced, by me. How do you plead?" He turned abruptly and walked over to Klaus. "Was that convincing? I studied law back in the '50s. Hold that thought." He returned to Jane-Anne. "Seriously Jane, tick-tock. You know the drill. How do you plead?"

"I didn't do anything." She said, scared. The crowd laughs quietly.

"Mm, that's a lie." Marcel replied to her. "You know it, I know it, and you hate that I know it. It drives you witches crazy that I'm aware of your every move. That you can't do magic in this town without getting caught. So, why don't we just cut to the chase, huh? You tell me what magic you're brewing. I mean, tell me. I'll grant you leniency. Hey, I am, after all, a merciful man."

Klaus and the crowd observed in utter silence. Jane-Anne scoffed, a disgusted look on her face. "Rot in hell, monster." Shocked murmuring rumbled through the crowd. Marcel smiled.

"I'll tell you what. I'll give you one more chance..."Marcel started to walk away. Suddenly, he swung the branch he'd been holding so fast that it sliced open Jane-Anne neck. She immediately began to gag. "Or not." Jane-Anne fell to the ground and the crowd cheered. Klaus stared at her body, looking displeased. He approached Marcel and grabbed his shoulder to turn him round.

"What was that?"

"Hey. Come walk with me. The witches aren't allowed to do magic here- she broke the rules."

"I told you I wanted to talk to her." Klaus said angrily.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I got caught up in the show. Those witches, they think that they still have power in this town. I have to show them that they don't. I never waste an opportunity for a show of force, another lesson that I learned from you. And besides, anything that you could've gotten outta her, I can find out for you, and I will. I promise."

"Tell me where to find her." He said. "Any other Deveraux around town?" Marcel grinned.

"Sophie Deveraux. Her sister."

The news ran fast in town. Her sister had just been killed and there was nothing she could do in this corrupt supernatural world. But she had to keep going. There was something huge coming up and if she was smart and quick, maybe she could stop all of this.

The working day was over. She picked up the trash bag went to the ally to take to the bin. Once she place it there, something fast went behind her. Great, a vampire. Hopefully they weren't coming for her as well. She turned around. A tall white man with dark hair was standing in front of her.

"I'm Elijah. You heard of me?"

Sophie nodded nervously "Yes"

"So, why don't you tell me what business your family has with a girl name Skyler?"

The phone rang. It was a text from Elijah.

'I've found her. She's with me. Meet me at the cemetery.'

That seemed an odd place to meet them but he didn't think for a second and went as fast as he could.

Once there, he could see his brother waiting for him at the entrance.

"What are we doing here?" He asked, confused. "Where is she?"

"She's fine but you wanna know what the witches have in store for you as well. Follow me" He told him while they entered one of the mausoleums. A petite woman with brunette hair was standing there. She looked like Jane-Anne.

"Sophie Deveraux. Am I right?" She nodded. "What is this? Where is she?"

"He's all yours. Proceed."

"You know you're famous in this town?" Sophie spoke. "Witches tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus. We know Marcel was nothing but an orphan street rat, until you made him what he is. And now he's out of control. He does what he wants, he kills who he wants. I'm gonna stop him, and you're gonna help me."

Klaus smiled, amused. "This is why you brought me here?"

"Hear her out." Elijah said at the impatience of his brother.

"I don't need to hear her out. I assure you, love, there is not a thing on this earth that will matter enough for me to waste even thirty more seconds of my time. Elijah, what madness is this? I'm asking for the last time." His patience was about to explode. "Where is Skyler?"

"Klaus." He could recognized that voice from miles away. He looked back and there she was standing there, looking a little bit tired.

"Skyler..." He whispered, getting closer to her but she stopped him.

"You need to listen to her."

"As I was saying..." Sophie continued to explain. "As, keepers of the balance, we still know when nature has cooked up something new. For example, I have a special gift...of sensing when a girl is pregnant."

Klaus' face went blank. "What?"

"I know it's impossible." Skyler voice was soft but with a hint of fear. Fear that Klaus, a man she loved, could get mad and leave her forever. "I was shocked too when she told me..." Klaus didn't even turn around to look at her. He was still facing Sophie.

"So what are you saying?" Klaus asked, still trying to deny the issue.

This time Elijah spoke. "Niklaus... she is carrying your child."

"No. it's impossible. Vampires cannot procreate."

"But werewolves can." Sophie began to explain."Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf. You're the Original hybrid, the first of your kind, and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes."

Klaus fought for control over his facial expression before he turns to Skyler and exploded out the anger.

"You've been with someone else!" He shouted. "Admit it!" Skyler began to cried. She had never seen him like this.

"How can you possibly say that to me?" Skyler shouted, trembling. "You've been with me all this time and you are accusing me of having sex with someone else? How could you?!"

"I won't hear any more lies!" He started to leave but Elijah stopped him.

"Niklaus. Listen."

Klaus turned toward Skyler, whose face was full tears and anger, from whose abdomen he could hear a rapid heartbeat. Klaus listened in wonderment for a few long moments, met Skyler's eyes, then closed himself off once more. He turned back to Elijah.

"Well, I'm telling you whatever that... thing is... it is not mine!" He said while looking at her belly with disgust and left the mausoleum.

Skyler mouth opened in shocked and before she could lose balance, Elijah was grabbing her. She put her arms around him and started to cried uncontrollably.

What do you think it'll happen on the chapter?

I'm changing the story a little bit from where The Originals went, so it could fit more to Skyler's story line.
