Healing

A/N: If anybody remembers the episode where Finn and Jake needed to find a new home because Marceline took the tree house back and they ended up in that cave and had a party.
That's the setting for this and Marshall 's current living area
Reminder: They're kids (age 5 or so for this), so a bruise or cut is like death

Gumball and Marshall were sitting on a large boulder in Marshall's 'house' and just talking about the strange flower Gumball say that made bright lights appear in the sky until they heard a growl coming from the their left.
When they turned around, they were eye-to-eye with a large wolf.
It had dark and smooth fur, sharp and blood-stained teeth, and red eyes.
"M-Marshall...I'm scared." Gumball whispered and stared at Marshall with large eyes.
"Maybe I can fly away and you can just hang on to me." Marshall suggested, but as he could put his hand on the pink boy's shoulder, the wolf lunged and jumped at Marshall, biting the vampire and causing him to immediately let go of Gumball and grab him arm with a hiss of pain.
Gumball looked around and noticed a large thick tree branch laying a few ferry away.
While Marshall was trying to kick the creature off, Gumball slowly climbed down and made a dash towards the branch.
The wolf caught Gumball and chased after him. Gumball grabbed the branch and as he turned around he noticed the wolf coming straight for him. He closed his eyes and swung and all he heard was a loud cracking sound.
When he opened his eyes, he saw the wolf unmoving on the floor and blood coming from it's head.
Gumball dropped the branch and ran back to Marshall and climbed back on the boulder.
"Are you okay?" He asked in a panic. "Where's the boo boo kit"
"Haha, you said 'boo boo'
"MARSHALL!"
"Sorry, it's by the water thingy." He said and nodded in the direction.
When Gumball came back he opened the kit and grabbed the bandage and wrapped Marshall's arm. He tore the end with his teeth and as he finished he put a kiss on it causing Marshall to snatch his arm back.
"What did you do?"
Gumball turned a darker shade of punk before he answered.
"My mom does it when I get hurt and it always feels better when she does it. Do you feel better?"
Marshall smiled a bit and then answered.
"Yeah, it feels a lot better actually. I can barely feel it." He said and shook his arm for emphasis.
Even though Marshall was in more pain than he was letting on, the smile on Gumball's face was worth it.
