The group ate breakfast in silence, Phoena had made toast, eggs, and corn beef hash. "Thanks you for the food" said Cerulea "this stuff is really good". "Thanks" said Phoena "just trying to make sure you guys have enough energy for today's mission. Still working out the details". Lenna took her clean plate and put it in the sink, she then quickly moved to the front door. "Where are you going Lenna?" Bruna asked "the rest of us haven't finished yet". "I just wanna go for a walk" she said "I'll see you guys later". "I'm full anyway" said Bruna "I'll come too". Bruna pushed her leftovers to Tuscan, who had more than obliged to another helping. "Before you go" said Phoena "I'm meeting with the mayor to discuss my plan. Meet me in the town hall in an hour and I'll tell you kids what you need to do". "Sounds good" said Bruna "see ya". Bruna shut the door behind her and immediately turned to Lenna "what's going on"? "It's my business" said Lenna. "If it's your business then that makes it my business" said Bruna "now tell me"? Lenna was annoyed but relented "I'll tell you along the way".
Bruna and Lenna stood out over the burned out husk of the Nera house. "Well then" said Bruna "that's; definitely alot to digest. So let's get this straight; this is the burning house from your dream, which was actually a memory. Phoena wanted revenge for what they did here, and Adam made you stab her; and she knew who you were. And if you even slip up a little, she will know who you are and kill you"? "And I used to be black" said Lenna. "And you used to be black" said Bruna "so the only person with any information about who you used to be, will kill you if they find you out". "Pretty much" said Lenna "but the good news is that she gave up on hunting me, she told me that". "Lenna can I tell you something?" said Bruna "you know how many hitmen the Schnee's have sent after me since we got to Beacon, guess"? "None" said Lenna "Cobalt gave Weiss a death threat day one to leave you alone". "Wrong" said Bruna "seven". "Seven?" said Lenna. "Seven" said Bruna "and I still live the life I want cuz I won't let that bother me. And to be honest you have it easier than me. You only have one person and they don't remember what you look like. Plus you have White Fang after you every day, and you worry about this ONE person? Girl you are an untouchable, you're gonna be fine". "Are you sure?" Lenna ask. "If she does come after you, I'll cut that bitch in a heartbeat" said Bruna "you're a Conway, we have your back". "Alright" said Lenna "I'll try it your way". "That's a good girl" said Bruna "let's head to the town hall". "Yeah" said Lenna "let's go". Bruna put her arm around Lenna and they walked away from the burned out home.
Tuscan and Cerulea stood outside the town hall as they waited for Lenna and Bruna. Cerulea leaned against the side of the building, tapping her foot against the ground with impatience. "Where are those two?" Cerulea asked. "Be patient" said Tuscan "those two are close as can be, they'll be here". "That's not what the profile said" said Cerulea. "As a member of the honor guard what were you told to expect with us?" Tuscan asked. "A lot of danger" she said "they told me you guys get into a lot of trouble, and to expect issues between Bruna and Lenna". "What did they tell you about Lenna?" Tuscan asked. "Not much" she said "just anything that wasn't classified. Why, is there something special about her or something"? "If it not okay for them to tell you, then I won't" he said "she will tell you if she wants to but otherwise, it's classified". "Sheesh you haven't changed a bit since Polaris" she said "somebody needs to pull that pole out of your butt". "Somebody else tried already" he said "you already met Yang". "The blondie huh?" she said "they told me what they could about your friends too". "They have files back in Conway?" Tuscan asked. "Everyone close to you guys has a file" she said "and depending on what was covered in ink, I read every page before they sent me here". "So what did they tell you about Weiss?" Tuscan asked. "Just to watch her" she said "and to terminate if necessary". "So what happened at Jahrestag really did nothing to heal the tension?" Tuscan asked. "You remember how Bruna reacted to when Weiss made her speech?" she said "multiply her by a couple million and you will get the idea". "So they blame Weiss for all this?' he said "this can't possibly get any worse". "Well I didn't want to say anything in front of Bruna" she said "allot of people have also been pointing the finger at Cobalt, saying he opened us up only to be attacked by Weiss. They blame him for being too weak and naive to lead". "How was Cobalt supposed to know this would happen?" said Tuscan "she fooled all of us". "Well that's what we get for trusting a Schnee" she said "let's keep the chatter down Bruna is coming". Bruna approached the building with Lenna in tow. "Sorry we are late" said Bruna "Lenna went for a walk and I had to find her. Anyway where is Phoena"? "She is inside talking to the mayor" said Cerulea "it sounds heated so we left them alone until you got here". "So let's head inside then" said Bruna. Bruna opened the door and the rest followed her inside. As they got inside they heard yelling. "Your job is to remove the problem to we can live on with our lives!" said one voice "not to force us out of our homes"! "I am not forcing you I'm pleading with you!" said Phoena "I don't want to leave any more then you do but we need to leave now or more people will die"! "We have lived on this land for generations" he said "and considering everything Miss Phoena, you are in no position to give me orders". "You insufferable little..." Phoena held her tongue. "That's what I thought" he said "now take those kids, go into the forest and fix this problem"! A short bald Faunus stormed out of the room and brushed Bruna aside. Phoena was exasperated and standing over a table. "Hey guys" she said "come on in so we can get started". "What was that all about?" Bruna asked. "Me and the mayor were just having a little, disagreement" she said "anyway let's move on and make a plan". Phoena pulled out a map of the surrounding area and laid it out on the table. It was apparent that Phoena had done some editing of her own; as she had place marks to represent barricades, landing sites and Grimm heavy areas. "As you may have heard in the report before you got here, the Grimm have never been this aggressive before" she said "so my best guess is that something may be agitating them, forcing them out of the woods". "That would make sense" said Tuscan "something could have scared them, or be giving them direction". "Tuscan this is gonna be a first for you but that is really dumb" said Bruna "Grimm can't be ordered around, it in their nature". "Bruna is right" said Lenna "but it is equally unlikely for them to be scared out of the forest, they don't feel fear". "I shudder to think of what would scare a Grimm" said Cerulea. "Either way we need to get in there and figure out what the hell is going on" said Phoena. "We are going into the woods?" Bruna asked. "Correction" said Phoena "Myself, Bruna, and Cerulea and will head into the woods and search this area over here. If you look at the map here you can see the Grimm heavy areas form a loose circle around this area of woods here. Call it a hunch but whatever may be causing this may be right here. Tuscan and Lenna will stay here and be in charge of guarding the village while we are gone". "Consider it done" said Tuscan. "We all know what to do then?" said Phoena "good, let's go kill some Grimm".
