10. AN - there's possibly more

There will not be a sequel - scratch that, kinda.

to be honest, i thought HTTYD2 was an okay movie, but after the third watch i realized just how much of it a reskin of the first one. it's another hidden dragon enclave, only good, and it's Mom instead of a dragon, Eret instead of the village and a human controlling the horde instead. i've had the beginnings for a new fic with touches of Pern in it since then, and it crept back up once the trailers started for the third movie(probably won't watch it) - i fell into the group that was putting too much science into explaining why a white Fury was wrong, not to mention i've seen four different fanfics with similar plots.

it's still on the back burner since i'm not sure if i'd do it as another divergence fic set after 2 - which would help with the antagonist - or as a sequel for this. if you wanna ask questions or help flesh it out, feel free to review this or PM me.
