Chapter 10: The Cure
"Hey can I come inside?" I heard Stefan ask as he knocked on my bedroom door. "Sure come on in." I said not moving from my place at the window.
"How are you doing?" Stefan asked sitting down on my bed.
"Well considering I am dying… not too bad for now."
"You know that I won't let you die." Stefan said looking at me.
"I know you won't but unless you know of a cure, I'm pretty much screwed." I said walking over to the bed.
"I do actually…" Stefan said looking at the ground.
"What are you going on about?" I asked confused.
"Well… there is a cure to the werewolf bit."
"Really? That's great though isn't it?"
"Yes it's great but there is a price for it though…" Stefan said slowly.
"What are you talking about?" I asked standing up.
"The cure is Klaus…"
"What? Klaus how can he help me?" I asked looking at Stefan as if he was completely crazy.
"Yes he has the cure"
"Well, then what where we still doing here?" I said grabbing my jacket.
"I know Klaus he will want something in exchange." Stefan said getting up.
"Well let's go see what his price is then." I say as we walk out of the door.
"Where are you going?" I hear Charles ask as he comes out of the living room.
"Charles I didn't know you were still here…" I said slipping my jacket on.
"I thought I'd stick around for a while." Charles said.
"Well that's great… we going to go see a friend of mine about the cure for this wolf bite."
"There is a cure?" Charles asked confused.
"Yes there is." Stefan said appearing behind me.
"What is it?" Charles asked.
"Well I don't know so why don't you come along and meet some of my other friends." I said slowly.
"Lexi can I have a quick word…. Alone." Stefan said pulling out the door.
"What? That was rude." I said turning to face Stefan.
"You don't really know this guy are you sure you are want to be going around taking him to go meet Klaus and his family."
"Okay look Stef… I know you trusted Percy as much as I did but Charles is Lee brother… I just to keep him around for a while but that doesn't mean I'm going to trust him."
"Just please be careful okay…. Don't want anything to happen to you. ." Stefan said sincerely.
"Don't worry Stef you stuck with me." I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Shall we?" Charles said stepping out.
"Yes we shall… you coming Stef?" I said looking back at him.
"Yes I am." He said throwing his arm around me and walking to his car.
"Trying to prove something" I ask as he held the door open for me.
"Not at all just making he knows where we stand." Stef said heading to the driver's seat.
"Your friend doesn't seem to like me much." Charles said as he slide into the backseat.
"He was betrayed by one of our closest friends… so he has some trust issues." I said just as Stefan climbed into the car.
"Where exactly are we going?" Charles asked as we pulled out of the drive way.
"We are going to go see Lexis's boyfriend and his family." Stefan said.
"He isn't my boyfriend." I muttered.
"If you say so." Stefan said pulling into the Michelson's driveway.
"Shut up Stef." I said before I started coughing.
"Are you okay?" Stefan and Charles asked at the same time.
"I'm dying so obviously I'm not!" I said between coughs.
"Just hang in there we are here." Stefan said stopping and the door and the appeared at my door. He lifted me out of the seat.
"Can you knock?" Stefan asked stopping in front of the door and looking at Charles. Charles knocked on the door after that everything went black.
"Alexia can you hear me love?" I heard a voice calling my name.
"What happened?" I asked opening my eyes and was met by a smiling Klaus.
"Hello there Alexia welcome back." He said handing me a glass of water.
"Where is Stefan and Charles?" I asked sitting
"They went to get a drink in the kitchen I'm sure they'll be back any second." Klaus said.
"How did you cure me?" I asked sitting up.
"My blood is the cure." Klaus said sitting down next to me.
"Your blood?" I asked taking a sip of the glass.
"Yes my blood is the cure I'm not one hundred percent sure why it heals but it does I've healed Caroline before when Tyler bite her…" Klaus explained.
"Well that's a handy thing to have around in case you or one of your pets end up biting someone."
"Well that doesn't happen a lot but yes I do suppose it does come in handy especially when my brothers umm well I'm not exactly sure what the nature of my brother and your relationship is but I'm still relieved I could save you."
"What exactly do you want in exchange for you saving my life?" I asked putting my glass down on the table.
"Well at this very minute nothing dear Alexia… but how about you owe me." Klaus suggested.
"Fine we have a deal Klaus I will owe you one for saving my life."
"Wonderful now please tell me how exactly you where bitten?" Klaus asked smirking at me.
"Well I was trapped in a house that had a spell around it that kept me from escaping and it was full moon." I replied leaning back into the couch.
"Well it sounds like a very interesting night." Klaus said just as Rebbekah came into the room.
"Nick which dress?" She asked holding them out to him.
"The green one." Klaus said.
"Don't ever ask a man for fashion advice, Rebbekah." I said standing up.
"You do have a point… which one do you think I should pick Lexi?" She asked turning to me.
"Well the green would look nice but the blue make your eyes stand out more plus…" I leaned in close to her. "The blue more length which will make your butt look great." I added with a grin.
"Well then blue it is…. Would you come help me pick out my shoes?" Rebbekah asked.
"I would love too." I said following her out of the living room.
"The silver one's defiantly." I said as Rebbekah walking around the room in one red and silver peep- toe heels.
"Really you think?"
"Yes they look gorgeous and they match the dress." I said.
"Thank you for your help…. My brothers don't exactly know what they are talking about then I come to fashion."
"It must be hard… having three boys around you and no sister's?" I asked looking at the picture on the bedside table with Rebbekah with her brothers.
"It does get very lonely sometimes… that's why I'm sort of glad that you're here to help."
"Wow… well I'm glad that I can help you Rebbekah... I really do want us to be friends if that's possible."
"I can try and be your friend plus your sort of dating my brother I guess we could try and get along." Rebbekah said coming out of the bathroom in her dress and heels.
"Well how do I look?" she asked studying herself in the mirror.
"You look beautiful Bekah." I said helping her put on her necklace.
"Thank you Lexi." Bekah said.
"Its only the truth." I replied just as Kol appeared in the doorway.
"My love thank goodness you're alright…. Klaus told me what happened." Kol said putting his arms around me.
"I'm fine your brother healed me." I said hugging him back.
"I'm so glad he did! Don't know what I'd do without you." He said holding me at arm's length and smiling at me.
"Aww you two are so cute it makes me want to hurl up my guts."Rebbekah said turning to us.
"Haha you look beautiful sister." Kol said looking at hr letting go of only one of my hands keeping my left hand in his.
"Thank you, your girlfriend helped me pick it out." She said walking over to her bed and picking her purse.
"Well she has a good eye." Kol said winking at me.
"I'm a girl remember I know fashion." I said grinning at him.
"That is true haha." Kol laughed.
"Okay well I'm going to be late so see you guys later try and behave please." Rebbekah said hugging us bye and walking out of the room.
"Well think I should go find Stefan and Charles…. Would you like to accompany me?" I asked looking at Kol.
"I would love too." Kol said following me out of the room.
"Ahh there you are I was wondering where you went." Klaus said as Kol and I walked into the living room.
"I was helping Rebbekah get ready." I explained seeing Stefan and Charles exchange a odd look between the two of them.
" Ahh I see." Klaus said.
"I'm sorry Kol this is Charles… Charles this is Kol."
