A/N- Been a while, eh? Well It's not just any update, it's the final chapter to this story which I'm glad people have come to enjoy! :) Onto the story~

"Goodbye, have a pleasant evening." Allen stated cheerfully to a customer as he handed back their exact change, waving after them politely. He kept up his congenial attitude as he worked behind the register at The Ark, taking care to treat each customer with respect and good service.

"Alright." Allen sighed, glancing around at all the people who were seated with food and/or a warm drink. "I've taken care of everyone at the front, that gives me time to check on the broken machine in the back." He turned around to rush off before more customers had a chance to enter the store, though paused when a voice from his left spoke up.

"You're working pretty hard...and it isn't even the lunch rush."

It was Tyki. The older man leaned against the counter adjacent to Allen's, his cheek in his palm and his eyebrow raised curiously. Allen knit his brow in confusion when he saw the other male on the sidelines before remembering that he was on break. Though he still found it odd that Tyki would initiate a conversation with him now, when usually during breaks he would go to the back door and have a cigarette.

"Yeah well... If you haven't noticed, it's kind of our job to work hard." Allen replied with a snort as he heard the familiar ringing noise of the door wind chimes. Tyki smirked at the other male's response but said nothing, Allen on the other hand, had a different reaction. He immediately forced a polite smile onto his face, internally cursing Tyki for distracting him from his task of fixing the machine in the back. He'd have to do it later, after the annoying lunch rush where it was impossible even to find time to take a piss. Customers would swarm the place from left and right, yet most employees were chill about it. Allen was the only one stressing, and he was starting to think he was taking the job too seriously.

"Hi, welcome to The Ark. May I ask your name so we can call you when your order is ready?" Allen asked almost robotically as a few customers trickled in.

"Daisya Barry." The first customer muttered distractedly, staring up at the black menu written on in white chalk that was posted above Allen's head. "And an iced coffee for me."

"Alright Daisya, i'll let you know when your order is ready." Allen stated as he curiously took in the teenager's appearance, noting the light purple marks under his eyes.

Is he a drama major at a college or something? Maybe it's cosplay... Allen wondered as he opened the cash register to ring up his purchase.

Tyki suddenly spoke up again, his tone light hearted as he watched the white haired male tend to the register. "Hey Allen, what are you doing tonight?"

"Not you." The white haired male replied as he counted out six dollars.

Daisya blinked in surprise. "Awww shit son...he shut you down."

"Ouch." Tyki smirked. "Can I have a reason why?" He asked as his expression shifted to one of disappointment.

A reason why?

You're a creepy curly haired bastard who looks freakishly good in shorts. What reason did I have not to go out with him? Allen thought. Maybe it was something about the aura he gave off, it was like he was somehow unstable. What's a valid generic reason he could use?

"I have a boyfriend." Atta boy Allen!

"Oh...? So do I. What's his name? Maybe we can double date."

Shit.

"...L-Lavi..." Allen stuttered. Oh fuck me. Why did that have to be the first name to pop into my head. He noticed Tyki had gone quiet and he glanced at the man who seemed taken aback by the name.

"Lavi...Bookman?" He asked with pursed lips. Allen nodded and Tyki looked away with disinterest. That was a little weird, Allen had to admit. However, it had gotten Tyki off his case so he was grateful for Lavi's apparently repulsive name.

He got home a while later to see the red head on the couch, not an unusual sight. Though something felt off about the atmosphere.

"Long day at work?" Lavi asked cheekily as Allen hung up his jacket.

"Not really."

"Anything interesting happen?"

"...I told my co-worker that we're dating."

"...Well shit."

Allen took that as an invitation to walk over and assess Lavi's reaction. Would he be upset? Grossed out? Uncomfortable? Surprisingly, he just looked blank.

"Well, why did you do something like tha-"

"Lavi." Allen stated firmly as he hovered over the scarlet haired male from behind the couch.

"Yeah?" Lavi looked up to face Allen before he felt his chin being tilted upwards and his lips pressed against Allen's. It lasted a few seconds, nothing more, until Allen paused to gauge his reaction.

Lavi looked stunned, unable to move or make coherent sentences. " I thought you- but you told me...and then- UGH." He was ultimately frustrated, crossing his arms like a spoiled child. Allen seemed to just frown at the situation.

"I was checking to see if we could pull off a double date with Tyki. Our reactions are off but...I guess we could try." What did he even care if Tyki knew he was actually single?! Allen desperately hoped he sounded cool...because he was having a nuclear meltdown on the inside.

OhmyGodwhatthefuck.

You could practically see steam coming out of his ears.

"Allen...in all honesty...we could."

"Could what?" Allen's cheeks burned because he knew exactly what Lavi was referring to.

"Um...you know...date." Lavi murmured as he looked away, a bright red blush lighting up his cheeks. Allen took a shaky breath and nodded. That kiss, however small it may have been, caused some cataclysmic changes. Allen watched with embarrassed grey eyes as Lavi sat up on the couch and patted his lap enticingly. Allen could only fidget and bite his lip before hesitantly making his way over and sitting in the foreign region between the red head's legs. He turned to the other male, both their faces red with mortification as Allen felt bold enough to wrap his arms around Lavi's neck and initiate another heart pounding kiss. This time the lip lock was heated and bursting with fervor. Much to his amusement and Allen's dismay, Lavi dominated the kiss. The red head expertly kept Allen's tongue in check as the two fought between themselves in a frenzy of passion. Somehow Allen's hands found their way to Lavi's hair, undoing the bandanna and letting the man's scarlet red hair hang down in his face hotly. Lavi, never parting the kiss, brought his hands up to hold Allen's wrists and keep him subdued.

"Mhhn..." A small sound escaped the boy's mouth in surprise as he came up for air, panting lightly. When had Lavi become so domineering...?

As they separated for breath, Lavi spoke. "Wait...you said your coworker's name is Tyki? I dated him once."

Allen seemed slightly annoyed as he responded. "You bring that up NOW?" He asked, gesturing to his position on Lavi's lap. The red head only chuckled and lifted Allen's legs higher so they wrapped around his waist.

"Yeah, well it didn't click in my mind until a second ago."

"Shut up and kiss me."

Lavi smirked before placing his hands on either sides of Allen's hips.

"Calm down beansprout, my lips aren't going anywhere."

"Well your tongue sure is."

Lavi raised an eyebrow in mock surprise. "Why, Allen Walker. Was that a sexual innuendo?"

Allen groaned and rolled his eyes, "If you keep talking, I'm going to bite you."

"Oh~? Where exactly are you going to bi- AH SHIT, ALLEN THAT'S MY FUCKING EAR!"
