*FLASHBACK!*
The lady, clad in red, turned as Harry entered. She was fairly pretty, early 30s, with short-ish strawberry- blonde hair. Glasses were neatly placed on her face, hiding away her glowing blue eyes.
"Mr. Judd?" she said.
Harry nodded. "Miss Blease I presume."
"Indeed. Please, take a seat. Cup of tea?"
Harry accepted, and before long both of them were sat on a brown sofa- their hips turned slightly so they were facing each other. Underneath her glasses, Miss Blease's eyes were sparkling- she was ready to get what she wanted.
An uneasy silence settled over them before she decided to break it. "You're gay," she stated, taking a sip of her drink.
"Yes," Harry said back. "But what's that got to do with anything- and why are you kicking me out of the flat?"
The lady smirked slightly. "I'm a homophobe. However, after looking at that body," she pointed at Harry, "I'm willing to forgive, as long as you give me what I want."
Harry was taken aback. He looked to the window of the apartment for a moment, listening to the droning of the cars passing by, before turning back.
"What is it you want?" he asked.
"Sex."
God, she got to the point quickly, Harry thought, before answering with a sharp "no."
"Tough," said she, pushing Harry's back onto the sofa, so he was lying down. However, his reflexes were sharp, and he gave her a quick slap to the cheek. Consequently, she spat at him.
"You need to be out the flat by this time tomorrow." She stood up. "Bye Mr. Judd."
"No, wait!" said Harry, panicking. "We have nowhere to go, please!"
"You know what I want."
Harry sighed; anger and fury at himself and her started bubbling up. He stormed out, the door lamming behind him.
He did the only thing he could think of- ringing his brother Thomas, and ranted to him about everything that had happened with his land lady. His brother was just as worked up about it as Harry was, calling Miss Blease a string of insulting and derogatory words before saying he was going to come over.
Thomas had never meant to push her down the stairs, but it happened anyway- her small, broken, helpless figure lying at the bottom of the stairs- it was as if the boys were in an action movie.
Harry cursed before running down the stairs, kneeling beside Miss Blease, feeling her wrist for a pulse. There was none, Thomas realized, after a slow and hesitant shake of his brother's head.
Thomas gulped; Harry sighed.
"Bro…" the younger man started. "What do we do?"
Much later that night, the boys came back to her apartment. Dougie was asleep- he knew nothing. They removed the body from the cupboard it had been stuffed into, and carried it outside. It was nearly pitch- black, which hid the 4-foot hole the boys had dug that afternoon. Harry's boyfriend had thought the two brothers had been planting flowers in their allotment, completely oblivious of what was really going on.
"You had better pray no one finds her until you're long gone," Harry said.
Thomas nodded sincerely. "You sure your mates can get me a new passport so I can get out of here? He was shaking, that was obvious.
"I'll get on the phone first thing tomorrow." Harry answered.
Their plan went well, and Thomas left for New Zealand a week later. What Harry hadn't anticipated however, was a few months later, Dougie wanting to do some gardening while his boyfriend was visiting his parents.
I'm sorry this chapter is also short, and I should've probably put chapters 9 and 10 together but never mind eh! I realised when typing this up that actually Miss Blease "falls" down stairs, and people don't have stairs in appartments! Do they?! I'm very sorry for my stupidity everyone. Also, if any of you have twitter, follow me! hopeiskindledx ! My profile picture is actually a pic of Dougs I took at the rah- im quite proud of it! Any of you go to rah? xoxoxoxo GDSF ily
Oh oops! Forget to say, thank you to my bus buddies, Lottie and Rachael, for helping me decide what to do with the Miss Blease storyline! They gave me loads of ideas, including Harry killing her because she killed their cats! Haha! ~ 33333
