Mercury, Jake and Finn were on their way to the Candy Kingdom. Finn watched Mercury. She was looking bored and was kicking rocks. He didn't get how when they kissed she acted like it never happened. "Shes complicated.." Finn said. "Whats compicated?" Jake asked him. Finn didn't realize he said that aloud. "Nothin." He shook his head. "He thinks I am complicated." Mercury smiled at him. Finn's eyes widened. "How did yo-" Finn was interupted by arms wrapping around him and a burning painful feeling in his back. "OW!" He screamed and pushed away who ever was behind him. "Oh, I'm sorry Finn!" He turned around to see Flame Princess. "Umm..." He was shocked to see her. FP giggled. "Speechless?" Finn glance over at Mercury. She was frowning and growling at Flame Princess. Flame Princess saw her, but choose to ignored her. "I've missed you so much!" She tilted her head and batted her eyes at him. "Its only been 2 weeks.." He scratched his head. "I've been thining alot and I decided to take you back." She smile at him and tried to hug him again. He backed up. "What?" She walked up closer to him. "I know you wanted me back for a long time. You've asked me and I am finally answering." "I-I-I.. That was 2 years ago!" Mercury was getting impacient and groaned. "Don't we have to go!? I thought we were in a hurry!" Flame Princess frowned at her. Finn knew she didn't like Flame Princess, but the way she was acting towards her it seemed to be a bit more to it. "Oh, um.. yea... I gotta go Flame Princess." He quickly walked away with Finn and Jake. Flame Princess groaned.
Finn noticed that Mercury hasn't stopped frowning. He knew why she was upset and was getting a bit of joy from it. He wanted to do the same thing she always do to him, which is teasing her. "Whats up with you are you jealoooous?" He raised a eye brow at her. Mercury glared at him. "What?! I am never jealous of anyone! Don't ya dare use that word in the same sentence that referse to me!" Finn tried not to laugh, but wasn't able to hold it in. "Oh yea? Then why are you so mad from a simple question." Mercury looked away from Finn. "Teasing people is my thing. Back off."
The three of them were in the Candy Garden with Princess Bubblegum. "So how is it going so far Finn?" She asked him. "Great!" He smiled. Princess Bubblegum sighed. "Really?" She asked and Finn turn around. Mercury had pepperiment butler wrapped in her arms and was licking him. Pepperiment Butler was very uncomfortable and couldn't break out of her hold. His red stripes were mixed in his white. Finn ran over to her and snached him out of her hands. "Your not helping." He whispered to her. Mercury grinned and shrugged. "Hey Bonnie." Bubblegum jumped from the voice that whispered in her ear. "Ugh!" Princess groaned when she saw Marceline. Marceline laughed at her. "Pfft.." Mercury rolled her eyes at the both of them. They all looked at each other and made a disgusted face. "Good luck Finn. I'm going to my lab." Princess said not watching where she was going. She walked right into a wall and fell on the floor. Marceline and Marceline laughed. "Ha Ha! Stand much!?" The two girls both said at the same time. They looked at each other with widened eyes then quickly looked away from each other akwardly. Everyone saw what happened. "Worst of enemies can be the best of friends.." Jake said with a smirk.
Finn was outside the house with Mercury. "Ok, so we have a few days to show PB you've changed or she'll lock you i-... nevermind that. So, I am going to see how you react to certain things." Finn brought out and he smiled at her. "Hug him." Finn said pointing at him. She walked over to him andd hugged him. "Ouch!" yelped. "Good. Put him down." Mercury pulled him away, but didn't put him down. Instead, she was about to bite him. Finn quickly slapped out of her hands. "Sorry." He apologized to . He frowned and walked off. "Don't eat him!" He shouted at her. Mercury crossed her arms. "Sorry, its an instinct." Finn sighed. "Ok, so are you going to teach me how to sit and stay? Oh! Or maybe roll over?" She stuck her tongue out of her mouth, got on all fours and panted like a dog. "I'm sorry if I-" Finn started to chuckle and couldn't finish his sentense. Mercury was rolling in the burnt grass around her and howling loudly. The way she was acting was funny to him. Mercury jumped on top of Finn and began to lick his face. Her licks made red spots on his face. He was laughing uncontrolably. "Oh, Holy Cow!" Jake shouted from behind them. The two of them got up. "Awe, you always ruin the fun." Mercury pouted. "Yea!" Finn crossed his arms.
