Rachel woke up and immediately ran for the bathroom attached to her room. She ran to the toilet and then precisely threw up her dinner from the night before. A few minutes later she felt someone hold her hair and rub her back. When she was done she sat up and looked to see Matt crouching next to her. She tried to give a smile but it looked more like a grimace.
"Are you ok babe?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Really? Then why did you just throw up dinner?"
"I don't know, but honestly I feel a lot better."
"Alright come on get into bed, I'll check your temperature."
Rachel stood up and headed back into her room and laid down on her bed. Matt walked in a few minutes later with the thermometer, he placed it in her mouth. When they heard the ding, signaling that it had been a minute, he took it out and looked at it shaking his head.
"98.6, your healthy as a horse, which I don't get. I mean you were just puking your guts up in there."
"I don't know babe, maybe I ate something that didn't agree with my stomach."
"Who knows, but can you stay home today?"
"No the girls and Kurt are coming over. We are going shopping today, for last minute Christmas gifts."
"Alright fine, but if you feel bad or start to throw up you are coming home deal?"
"Deal."
"Also babe, I'm going to tell the girls and Kurt, that way you can't hide it."
"Fine."
Matt left the room and Rachel stood up and started to get ready for the day. Right as she finished she heard the doorbell ring. She headed downstairs after grabbing her bag, making sure she had her wallet with her and had her jacket. When she was downstairs she saw the others in the living room.
"Are you boys having a guys day?"
"Yep, since you guys are going shopping we decided to hang out."
"Alright, bye babe see you later. Bye boys."
"Bye baby, have fun. Girls, Kurt take care of her."
"We know Chocolate Thunder, now have fun with the boys."
The girls and Kurt headed out and towards their cars, when they had situated the seating arrangements they headed towards the mall. When they arrived they started walking around looking for things to buy for their friends and family. They had already bought the presents for their shopping companions, now they needed something for the others.
As they were walking Rachel started to become dizzy, she saw a bench and decided to sit down for a bit till the dizziness went away. Quinn realized that Rachel wasn't with them and turned around and spotted the brunette sitting on a bench looking at her phone. She got the others' attention and headed back towards the bench and sat down next to the brunette. When she looked at Rachel's face she saw that she had tear tracks down her face. Quinn was instantly worried and grabbed the girl's hand.
"Rach you ok?"
"I'm late."
"Late for wha- Rach you sure?"
"Yes, it should have started yesterday but it didn't, then this morning I threw up but felt fine after and a minute ago I got dizzy, I never get dizzy not even after doing ten pirouettes in a row."
"Rachie?"
"Yeah Britt."
"You don't really think do you?"
"Maybe, but I'll have to check and be sure."
"Alright, well do you want to finish shopping then go and check?"
"Yeah I would San, yeah I would."
They stood up and continued thier shopping, when they were done they headed to a local free clinic. When they walked in they recieved some odd looks but they shook them off and walked up to the counter where a nice looking woman was sitting. She looked up as the group walked over to her.
"Hello, how can I help you?"
"My friend needs to see a clinician."
"May I ask why?"
"It's personal, please."
"Alright just fill out these forms and when it's your turn, your name will be called."
She handed Rachel the forms and watched as the group went and sat down.
"Thank you by the way."
"No problem."
Rachel filled out the forms and turned them in, the group sat waiting for her name to be called. After about ten minutes it was Rachel's turn. When she entered the exam room the nurse told her to wait there. When the clinician entered the room she smiled at Rachel.
"So Ms. Berry, what can I do for you today?"
"I think I might be pregnant."
"Really?"
"Yes ma'am."
"What are your symptoms?"
"I vomited this morning, but I felt fine afterwards had no temperature or anything, then earlier while I was shopping I got dizzy, I never get dizzy ever. Also I'm late I should have started yesterday but it never happened, I didn't even think of it till I got dizzy."
"Alright we'll take a blood test and get the results back."
The clinician took a needle and found a vein in Rachel's arm, getting the correct amount of blood, she sent it off and continued to talk and find out information about Rachel.
"So Rachel how old are you?"
"I'm 16."
"Alright where do you go to school?"
"William McKinnely High School."
"Alright, so you're a sophomore?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Got any siblings?"
"Yeah a brother, Blaine?"
"Is he that boy out there with your friends?"
"No that's Kurt, the boys are having a video game day."
"Ah I see, what boys?"
"My friends, brother and boyfriend."
"That's nice."
Right at that moment a tech came in with a manila folder, he handed it to the clinician and left. She opened the folder, looked at it, closed it, and turned to face the teen.
"Well Rachel it look's like you are-"
