Chapter 9: The Prank.

Thalia's POV

I sat in my desk waiting for the clock to reach one twenty. At one twenty The Stoll Brothers and Leo were all going to get out of class to me me so we could finish the prank that we had planned.

I checked my phone one twenty-one the clock read. My hand shot up in the air, "May I please go to the restroom?" I asked.

The teacher gave me a hard look, "Make it fast Miss Grace."

I grimaced at the sound of my last name, "Yes sir."

I raced out of the class room and ran down the hall to Leo, Travis, and Connor. "I'm here."

"Took ya long enough. We don't have time to waist." Leo informed me.

I rolled my eyes, "I was one minute late, get over it."

"Go make sure the girls locker room is empty." Connor told me.

"Be right back." I slipped through the door.

I crept through the girls locker checking the lockers, bathrooms, and showers. I didn't see anybody or hear anybody. I went to the second entrance door and locked it, so nobody could get in.

"All clear." I told the boys.

We shared an evil look as they sneaked through the girls locker room door. I locked the door behind them as they came, making sure we'd have the girls locker room to ourselves.

"Okay where are those drama queen's bags?" Leo asked.

"They always put their stuff on the counter in front of the big mirror." I told Leo.

"How do you know this?" Connor hissed.

"I had freshman gym with them. They make it pretty clear that nobody's stuff can be near theirs." I rolled my eyes thinking of how dramatic those girls were.

We walked over to where their bags should be. I was right. They were there. "Okay, give me Drew's first."

Leo picked up the three Prada bags, "Um, who's is who's?" He looked confused.

I looked at the three bags, in the corners there was suppose to be letters for the first letter of their first name. "Look for the one that has a D."

Leo handed me Drew's bag.

I gave him an evil grin, "Thanks." I turned to the two brothers, "Give me the fox pee."

They handed me a clear container with a yellow substance in it. "Why, thank you." I said in my best British accent.

I pulled out all of Drew's perfume, "Leo, go dump them all out down the sink."

"One sec." He opened the other girls bag and was about to grab their perfume.

"No!"

"What?" He gave me a confused look, "It'd be faster."

"We can't get them mixed up."

He took Drew Perfume and dumped it down the sink.

"Eww." Leo plugged his nose.

I carefully poured the fox pee in every single one of Drew's perfumes. "Now, she's going to smell."

I took out her facial cream, "Green dye please?"

They handed me the green dye, "Is this going to dye her facial cream?" I asked.

Connor shook his head, "No, only when it meets the contact of skin will it start to turn green."

I grinned, "Perfect."

After dyeing her facial cream, I moved on to her shampoo and conditioner, "Guys, will you please hand me the purple stuff."

After about fifteen minutes our prank was finished. All the girls would smell like pee, their faces would be green. Rachel's hair would be black. Reyna and Drew's hair would be purple. And their mascara and eyeliner would be a hideous hot pink and poop green.

"Our prank is done." Travis said. We all had big grins on our faces.

"Teach them to mess with me." I snapped my fingers.

Leo gave me an incredulous look, "I cannot believe you just did that."

I rolled my eyes, "It was a joke, Leo, I was mocking them."

Percy's POV

It was break and I was talking to Nico and Jason when I heard the ear screeching scream. We all covered our ears form the horrible noise.

"What the hell was that?" Nico asked extremely irritated.

Jason shrugged his shoulders, "I have no clue dude."

I heard it again, the screeching scream, followed by a lot of cussing and cursing.

I spotted Annabeth a little ways down the hall talking with Piper and Silena.

"I'm going to go ask Annabeth."

Jason and Nico came with me to talk to the three girls.

"Hey." Annabeth greeted.

"Do you know what that sound was?" I asked them.

Annabeth shook her head, her blond curls moving with her head. "No, I was wondering what it was though."

"Probably some beauty catastrophe." Silena said casually looking at her nails.

Nico's eyebrows scrunched together, "What makes you say that?"

"That kind of scream can only mean one thing, and it ain't pretty." Silena said all mysteriously.

"Oh-kay?" Jason said. "I just want to know who it was."

Annabeth's eyes got wide and pointed down the hall. "Yeah, it ain't pretty."

My eyes got wider and wider as I was trying to comprehend what was happening. Rachel, Reyna, and Drew were all storming down the hall towards us.

But that wasn't the bad part…

Rachel's face was bright green and her hair was black. Around her eyes she had a the ugliest green I had ever seen and the closer she got, the more it smelled like pee.

Reyna's face was also green, but around her eyes were hot pink, and her hair was a violet purple. She looked like Katy Perry, but Katy Perry doesn't have a green face.

Drew looked the worse. Her black hair was now half purple half yellow. Her face was green, one eye was pink and the other was the hideous poop green.

I don't think I had ever seen Rachel, Drew, and Reyna look this…hilarious.

Once they were right in front of us I wanted to gag. They smelled like a litter box.

All nine of us stood there looking at each other.

Finally Annabeth started laughing. Silena and Piper joined her. The three girls were holding their stomachs, "I c-c-can't b-br-breath." Annabeth managed to get out. She was still laughing.

I couldn't hold it in any longer. I started cracking up with them and soon the whole hallway was laughing. I couldn't help it. It was just too funny.

"I-I-I'm s-s-so-sorry." Jason stuttered.

Drew, Rachel, and Reyna's eyes burned with fury. "It's not funny!" Drew yelled at everyone.

"Y-yes i-it is." Annabeth laughed.

Rachel eyes burned with hatred towards Annabeth, "Ugh!" She pointed at Annabeth, "You did this didn't you?"

Annabeth tried to put on a serious face. "No, I didn't. Believe me I wish I could have taken credit for this." She started laughing again.

Rachel shoved Annabeth backwards, "Yes you did!"

Annabeth stopped laughing, she turned to Piper and Silena, "Did she just push me?"

I stopped laughing with everyone else. I didn't dare say anything. Annabeth and Rachel are two girls I don't want to get in the middle of.

I took a step back and motioned for Jason and Nico do the same.

"Um, yes?" Piper answered, she sounded unsure.

Annabeth shoved Rachel back with a little too much force. Rachel fell flat on her ass.

The kids in the hallway laughed. Some said, "OOOH!" Others said "BURN!" I didn't laugh or say anything. I stood there stunned.

I saw Piper whisper something to her. She sighed and nodded.

She held her hand out to Rachel, "Sorry, that was uncalled for." Rachel just glared at her. "Rachel I'm sorry. I really am."

Rachel took her hand and pulled her down, "So am I."

I felt like I was frozen and glued to the floor, that I couldn't do anything but stand and watch.

Annabeth laughed. But it wasn't her cute bubbly laugh that made me coone. It was a dark laugh.

"Really Rachel? Do you want to go?"

Rachel just smirked, "Bring it."

And then all hell broke loose.

Annabeth threw herself at Rachel. Annabeth eventually pinned Rachel down and was sitting on her stomach, with Rachel's arms pinned underneath her knees.

"I was always stronger than you." Annabeth taunted Rachel.

Rachel responded by bringing her leg up and kneeing Annabeth's back.

She let out a little squeal and started to hold open Rachel's mouth, "I think you're forgetting who's on top." She did the grosses thing I have ever seen Annabeth ever do. She spit a lougy right in Rachel's mouth.

"Gross." Rachel shrieked.

Annabeth shrugged, "Now say sorry."

"What? No!" Rachel yelled again. Rachel was trying to wiggle free, but Annabeth's grip tightened each time Rachel would wiggle.

My brain was shouting at me to do something, but my body wouldn't move an inch. My girlfriend was getting beat up by Annabeth and I didn't have the power to do anything.

"Say it!" Annabeth demanded.

"YOU'RE A DELUSIONAL BITCH!" Rachel spat at her.

Annabeth gave Rachel another dark laugh, and it was damn scary, "Oh am I?" I knew I needed to stop Annabeth.

"Yes!"

"I'll show you a bitch!" She brought her fist back and connected it with Rachel's nose.

"Percy!" Jason yelled at me.

"What?"

"What the hell are you doing standing here? Get in there and stop this effing fight!"

I looked back at the girls. Rachel now had Annabeth's hair in her hand, and Annabeth was clawing Rachel's face with her fingernails.

"Right." I commanded my body to move. I grabbed Annabeth and pulled her off of Rachel.

"Let go of ME!" Annabeth screamed as I dragged her off.

"Calm down," I whispered in her ear.

"Don't tell me what to do." She snapped. She tried to wiggle out of my grip.

"Annabeth." I whispered trying to calm her down. She was still trying to get out of my grasp. I did the only reasonable thing to do. I threw her skinny ass over my shoulder and started walking to the only place that could calm her down.

Once inside the music room my back was starting to hurt. With Annabeth yelling snarky comments and pounding on my back. I just wanted to lay down.

I locked the door and adjust my grip on Annabeth. I was now cradling her like a little baby and slid down the back side of the music room door.

Annabeth wasn't freaking out anymore, but she was worrying me. She stared blankly at the wall not even blinking.

I was still in shock as well, but I cleared my head for Annabeth's sake. "Hey, Annabeth?"

She looked a little better, "Yeah?" She asked in a small voice.

I spoke to her the way I use to talk to my little brother when he had hurt himself on his bike in Central Park, "Want to tell me what just happened?" I asked as lightly as possible.

She shook her head, "I don't know." She mumbled almost to her self.

"I'm here when you're ready to talk." I leaned my head back on the door.

We sat in silence and I replayed Annabeth's horrid behavior. It was like some evil force took over her body. I don't think I have ever seen her act that way. She went rabid like a dog with rabies.

"Was it really bad?" She whispered to me.

I chuckled, "Not too bad."

She covered her face with her hands, "I'm soo stupid."

"You're a lot of things, Annabeth, but stupid isn't one of them."

She laughed, "You're suppose to say that."

I gave her my best quirky smile, "But I meant it."

She was quiet for a moment, "I just sort of lost it."

"I know, wise girl, I know."

"It was going to happen sometime."

"Was it now?" I asked.

She nodded her head, "I felt like a volcano. I just sort of exploded, but I feel better now in a way. All my anger is now gone."

"And now I have a girl friend with a green, bruised, and swollen face, who is probably going to give me the same beating she just got." I meant it sound like I was just joking, but I came out a little bit harsher.

She flinched at my words, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to go all crazy on her." She paused, "I had nothing to do with her colorful hair and face."

I let that sink in, "So who did it?"

She shrugged, "I don't know. But that was a marvelous prank. I just wish I thought of it."

"It was evilly clever."

Annabeth groaned, "I'm so dead."

"What?"

"My life is over."

"Why?"

"I'm going to die!"

"Will you tell me what's going on?"

She gulped, "My manager is going to kill me, because I freaked out and hurt Rachel. This is going to be all over the press and the paparazzi are going to eat it up. I was suppose to lay low and not get into any trouble. What do I do? I go all ayowa on a girl in the first month back to school-" Annabeth started rambling.

I put my hand over her mouth to stop her. I didn't need her freaking out and going all ayowa on me.

"You were rambling." I explained.

"Right." She smiled sheepishly, "Sorry."

We decided to sit in the music room, where it was quiet until we had to come out. Everyone needed to calm down before they did anything rash.

Piper's POV

After Percy carried away the screaming Annabeth I was left with Silena, Nico, and Jason. The hallway was still pretty quiet as we stared awkwardly at Rachel laying on the ground. I personally didn't care for her much, so I didn't offer to help her. I was holding back my laughter instead.

The three girls looked like different versions of the wicked witch of the west. With the green skin they looked like they could be sisters with the old witch.

"What the hell just happened?" I heard Leo make is way through the crowed.

"Why is there a huge circle around-" Thalia and Leo stopped when they saw Drew and Reyna's faces.

Thalia laughed, "Holy shit! What happened to your face?" I remembered that Thalia and Leo had to talk to Paul about something for English, so they missed the fight, and the girl's hideous faces.

Leo was laughing beside her, "I think that the evil witch of the west pooped on them."

This only made Reyna, Drew, and Rachel even madder, but it made the hallway howl in laughter.

"What happened to Rachel?" Leo asked.

"It looks like she got the shit beat out of her." Thalia said. She turned to me, "Did she?"

I nodded, "Yeah..."

"It was Annabeth." Jason said.

"Annabeth?"

"She went a little cray cray." Nico told Thalia.

"Care to explain?" Thalia asked impatiently.

So we explained how Rachel accused Annabeth turning them hideous and shoved her. Then Annabeth shoved her back and things got out of control from then.

"Dang it! I missed Annabeth kick the crap out of Rachel." Thalia complained.

"Basically." Jason said.

"By the looks of it, it was a good fight." Leo said.

"It was crazy. Annabeth held nothing back." Silena told them.

Thalia looked around, "Where's she now?"

We all shrugged, "Percy carried her away kicking and screaming. I feel bad for him. I bet he has a shattered eardrum and a bruised back. Annabeth didn't go willingly." Nico said.

Jason looked at Nico, "We better go check on Rachel."

"Be right back."

I looked behind me. Rachel wasn't on the ground anymore, but she was holding her nose talking to Drew and Reyna.

"Ugh, I don't like them." Thalia said looking at the posse of girls talking to Nico and Jason.

"Neither does Annabeth." Silena joked.

I smiled, "I just hope she doesn't get in trouble."

Thalia gave me a pity look, "Oh, she's in trouble. She's in so much trouble."

~oOo~

"You are in so much trouble young lady!" Quinton screamed at Annabeth.

After the fight a teacher came out and asked about all the screaming. One of the kids had explained what happened, and the teacher went on a hunt for Annabeth. I heard they found her in the old music room where Percy took her to calm her down. Annabeth had to go to the principal's office where they called Quinton. He wasn't too pleased to find out what Annabeth had done to Rachel's face.

Annabeth's face burned bright red with anger, "She accused me of turning her face green and pushed me! I was only defending myself!"

"You didn't need to break her nose!" Quinton snapped.

"It was an accident." Annabeth spat.

Quinton gave her a long hard look, he finally sighed, "This is a big deal Missy. The paparazzi are going to eat this story up like it's candy. You do understand that right?"

Annabeth scoffed, "I'm not stupid."

"Annabeth-" Thalia butted in, "this may jeopardize everything we've worked for."

"Don't you think I know that?" She yelled at Thalia, "For the last time it was an accident! I didn't even realize what had happened until I was in the music room."

Thalia opened her mouth to say something but Quinton stopped her, "Girls please. You have had enough fighting for one day."

Annabeth rolled her eyes.

"As for you, you're grounded." Quinton pointed at Annabeth.

"Excuse me?"

"You're grounded for two weeks. You may leave the house for school purposes only. I expect you home everyday at 3:15 no later. Understood?"

Thalia and I both gave her a pity look, "That's a little bit harsh." I told Quinton.

Thalia backed me up, "Yeah, we have photo shoots, interviews, and we have just started recording songs for the new album."

Quinton gave a look to silence us, "I was not kidding when I told you guys to stay out of trouble. Annabeth made her decision when she harmed that young girl, as I have made mine." He looked at all of us coldly, "This is non-negotiable."

Annabeth gave him an icy look, "This is so unfair."

"Lots of thing in life are unfair." He rebutted, "Now you up to your room." Quinton pointed towards the stairs.

"Fine!" She snapped. She stomped up the stairs and we heard her slam the door.

We sat in an awkward silence.

Quinton turned to me, "How bad was it?"

I grimaced, "Pretty bad."

Thalia brought out her phone, "Some videoed it. I missed it, so I had them send it to me."

Thalia had a smile the whole time we were watching the video of Annabeth beat the living heck out of Rachel. Quinton eyes were wide with surprise. I didn't blame him, I was surprised as well. This was so out of character for Annabeth.

After the video Quinton said, "Excuse me girls, I'm going to try to keep this whole mess out of the papers." Quinton walked towards his office.

"Then there were two." I muttered to Thalia.
