Mayuri sat in lab. His usual giddy smile wider then usual. Today he was getting three new test subjects. Even if the procedure was not that interesting, it excited him to see how they would turn out after the procedure. A knock on the door made him turn around. His lieutenant Nemu walked in followed by the three prisoners and their guards. To Mayuris disappointment they were gagged so he couldn't hear their delightful screams.
"Ah Nemu. Good good... Bring them in. Take them to the Eraser and strap them in.", he laughed giddy making the three prisoners shut up and began to sweat.
Nemu followed her Captains order and showed the guards the way to the machine. Her face was emotionless as she watched them being strapped into their seats. Personally she hadn't anything against the Ryoka but the fact that they invaded the Seireitei plus that they were the hated parents of her dear friend Danny made her indifferent to them. She met the teen when her Captain scanned his special calming aura and befriended him despite her distant personality. He actually made her laugh with his uncommon humor by calling her Captain Domino Face.
"Ok ok ok... Let's see what I can do with you.", the man stated as he scanned the many screens.
"Now... Let's get this party on the road.", he laughed and the other Shinigami stepped away from the strange machine.
With the pull of a lever the machine began to start up. Soon electric sparks began to fly around the machine and the prisoners. The three began to moan and squirm. Slowly the moans became louder and the movement became more fidgety. Sam was the first one to scream in pain trying to fight the erasing process. Jack and Maddie followed soon after. The three tried their best to withstand the loss of their memories. Nemu looked at them with disinterest and thought about asking Danny for a few of his recipes. The door opened and she turned to look at the newcomer. There walking towards them came Danny. But his attire looked different. He didn't wear his usual Shinigami attire but some kind of armor. It was all white with red tipped quills on his back. His hakama pants remained though. There were red and yellow tribal marking on his arms. The most prominent markings where the 13 red tribal flames in a circle around his heart. It looked interesting just like his new hairstyle covering his left eye..
"What can I do for you Phantom-san?", Mayuri asked not turning from his screens.
"I'm just here to see how the process is going before I go on my new mission.", he stated emotionless and looked at his former family.
'Hmmm cooked vegetables doesn't see so far fetched now.', he thought worried that it might hurt Jazz.
"Is the process nearly done Captain Mayuri? I don't think my sister would appreciate three walking vegetables to come back with her.", he stated very calm.
But Nemu felt the worry in his voice. She knew he cared for his sister and that she loved her family despite their flaws. Mayuri looked at the teen calmly before he deactivated his machine. The electricity calmed down and the three bodies went limp.
"The process is done. Take them and let me work.", the Captain waved dismissively and Danny nodded towards the guards.
The guards nodded back and unstrapped the three before they took them towards the meeting point where they were already awaited by Jazz and Dani.
"Well at least I got some interesting readings from them.", the man shrugged as he looked over the data he gained.
Nemu only shrugged and looked at Danny.
"Hey Danny-kun. Do you have a minute?", she asked silently.
"Sure what's up Nemu-chan?", he asked calmly.
She saw the distracted look in his eyes and knew that he was thinking about his new mission.
"I'm sorry to bother you but I wanted to ask if you could give me a few of your recipes.", she asked with a small blush.
"Oh.."he mouthed before he shook his head.
"Yeah sure. Just ask Dani. She will give them to you. I need to leave now.", he explained and she bowed to him.
"Thank you.", she stated and watched him walk out of the lab.
'Now back to work.', she actually smiled and turned to help her Captain.

Danny hurried over a Reiatsu path through the nothingness between the worlds. The path was barely wide enough for him to step on and only reached 4ft before and behind him.
'I should hurry. I can't waste anymore time. It will be hard enough to find him anyway.', he thought as he fell into a high speed sprint.

"Ahh... Lieutenant Phantom. I have been awaiting you.", Yamato stated as Danny walked into the room and bowed.
"You called for me Captain-Commander?", he asked calmly.
"Yes. I have a reconnaissance mission. You will travel to Huenco Mundo and investigate the traitors Aizens plans.", the old man explained.
"With all respect Captain-Commander but why me?", Danny asked confused and looked at his leader.
"Your special talent makes you perfect for this mission. You can sneak in and out without rising any suspicion.", he explained patiently.
"I understand Captain-Commander. I will be on my way in an hour after I finished my preparations are done.", the white haired lieutenant explained.
"What kind of preparations are you talking about boy?", Yamato asked actually opening one of his eyes.
"I have a responsibility towards my students at the academy. I can't let them ease their training while I'm gone. There are also my duties towards the 2nd squad. And finally my former family will be punished today and send back so I want to say goodbye to my sister since I won't see her for a while.", he explained serious.
"Understood. You have one hour before you are to leave to Huenco Mundo.", Yamato ordered and the teen left the room.
'I hope the kid can get us the needed informations.', the man thought and leaned back in his chair.
Danny hurried home in a Shunpo and went to his apartment. There he erected a barrier around the apartment.
"What are you doing dad?", Dani asked as she came into the living room.
"Shouldn't you be at school?", he asked stern.
"We have the day off today.", she shrugged and sat at the dining table.
"Oh well.", he shrugged and began to take deep breaths.
"So what are you doing?", she repeated her question as Jazz walked into the room looking curious.
"I have a recon mission and must leave in one hour. For that I have some preparations to do. Now be silent. I need to concentrate.", he explained.
They nodded and he closed his eyes again.
'You ready my friend?', he asked serious.
"You got it man. But be careful. My instincts can be pretty powerful at times.", Phantasma stated in his stoned state.
'Got it.', he began to release his Hollows Reiatsu.
The Reiatsu began to engulf his body making the girls stiffen. As his body was completely covered a light sigh came from the Reiatsu shrouded figure and the Reiatsu vanished again. The new figure looked like Danny but somehow different. He had a white Hollow armor with a hole where his heart should be and his black hakama pants. Red and yellow tribal markings on his arms as well as 13 red flame tribal around the hole in his chest. The quills on his back seemed to rattle a bit before they calmed down. Under his left eye was a white piece of Hollow armor with seemingly three teeth. With another chant the hole in his chest began to blur and close itself up making him look like a normal man in a white armor.
"What's this Danny?", Jazz asked astonished.
"This is my Awakened state. By using it I completely merge with my Hollow. It will help me with my mission.", he explained calm.
"So what about school? I like Nee-chan but she isn't really a good sensei.", Dani asked with a strange look in her eyes as she eyed her fathers transformation.
"I will make a few notes for her so that she has a idea what to work on.", he shrugged and looked at his white hand.
"Jazz the others are getting their memories deleted in a half an hour. Do you want to be there?", Danny asked his sister.
"No thanks. Please be careful Danny. I don't want to worry about you more then I have to. Plus you have to come by soon. Rachel is still waiting.", she smiled and he nodded.
"Will do sis. Will do.", he replied as he stepped towards her.
"This is goodbye for now Jazz. I won't be here anymore when you leave for the living world. So I hope you get home safely and greet the Foleys and Valerie from me.", he smiled and hugged her
"Will do bro.",she returned the hug and actually stroked the quills on his back making him shudder.
"Please stop that Jazz. These quills are not just for show. They are a sort of Reiatsu radar.", he shivered as she kept stroking them.
"Will you stop that.", he stepped back making his sister and daughter laugh.
"Ok I need to go to Sui-Feng and tell her about my mission and gives her some pointers for your class.", he stated and took down the barrier around the apartment before he vanished in a Shunpo.
He reappeared in his Captains office without making any noise. Sui-Feng sat at her desk working on some documents till he cleared his throat signaling her his presence. She looked up and recoiled before she recognized who stood before her.
"Danny?", she asked confused.
"Hey Sui-chan.", he waved lazily.
"What's with the creepy getup?", she joked laughing.
"This is my Awakened state.", he countered making her shut up.
"Why did you awaken?", she whispered serious looking around checking if someone was listening in.
"I have a recon mission in Huenco Mundo from the Captain-Commander.", he shrugged while she walked around him and looked him up and down.
Her soft hands stroked his quills making him shiver in pleasure.
"Please stop that Sui-chan or I might jump you right here and now.", he growled with a barely restrained moan.
"And would that be so bad?", she whispered seductively and traced her fingers over his right shoulder and to the mid of his chest where she began to circle her index finger.

That made her actually jump off his and throw his pants to him as she hurried to dress again . Danny just chuckled and dressed before he turned to her fearful face and cupped it in his hand.
"Don't worry. I'll be back soon. Two weeks at max.", he stroked her cheek with his thumb.
"Ok...", she sighed and leaned into his touch as he bowed down and kissed her.
"Take care of Dani for me.", he whispered before he disappeared in a Shunpo towards Mayuris lab.

'Damn I think I forgot to leave some notes for Sui-chan. Oh well two weeks of hell for my students.', he shrugged.
The darkness before him parted and revealed a dark forest with white trees. Danny jumped through the portal and landed on a branch.
"So... Let's see. Where am I?", he looked around and thought about the known reports of Huenco Mundo.
"Ah... The Menos Forest.", he smiled proud that he knew his location.
"Come on man. It's time to activate your full Awakened state. You look to human right now. You should at least look like a Vasto Lorde.", Phantasma stated serious not stoned for once.
"Ok let's do this. Hopefully no one notices us when we use it.", the teen groaned and gathered his Reiatsu in his hand and ripped it across his face, also destroying the illusion above his Hollow hole..
The following beast like roar echoed through the forest making many Hollows hide or look around for their new prey. A shark like mask appeared but with a flatter snout and two horns going from the tip of the nose back over the head ending shortly behind it slightly bend upwards. The unruly hair was replaced by quill like white hair going down to his shoulders, effectively blocking any attack from behind. When he opened his now two hollowfied eyes he looked around he noticed a few Hollow hurrying towards him.
"So much for not being noticed.", he deadpanned.
"What did you expect after screaming like that.", Phantasma also deadpanned.
"True.", he sighed and jumped towards the incoming enemies.
Without using his zanpakuto he lashed out against the wolf like Hollow and ripped him to shreds like it was made of paper. That actually halted the others but not for long. Soon they charged him again. With a growl the teen charged black Reiatsu claws and ripped the rhino Hollow to pieces. Before the hawk Hollow could make a run for it, a clawed hand shot from it's chest. The three Hollows lain on the ground dissolving. But instead of vanishing into nothingness the spiritual particles began to draw closer to the transformed Shinigami. He absorbed them without any hesitation and sighed content after the last particle entered him. Excitement flooded his system as he realized what he had done.
'Did I just absorb three Hollows?', he thought amazed.
"Well that's part of my power. That and some others.", Phantasma laughed stoned again while resting on a bearskin.
'You've got other powers? Why did you never tell me?', the teen asked a bit annoyed.
"Well except your former ghost powers and the ability to absorb spirit particles? I can absorb Ceros by eating them... oh and I can duplicate, something you never mastered.", he taunted.
'You got to be kidding me.', Danny sighed and knocked his head against a tree.
"See the bright side of it.", the zanpakuto smiled.
'And that would be?', he asked rubbing his sore head.
"You can get a great power boost while being here.", the spirit shrugged and lit another incense.
'True.', he sighed.
'Ok let's go and search for Aizen and his idiots.', the teen jumped into the trees and followed his gut feeling since he didn't feel anything.
Unknown to many was that a bit away someone watched his battle because he followed the beast like roar.
'What an interesting discovery. A Vasto Lorde here in the Menos Forest. I should tell Aizen-sama about this.', the Adjucha thought and leaped towards Las Noches.
A shadowy figured smiled at the running Hollow from above.
"You run to your master while I get stronger and wait for him.", Danny snickered that he tricked the Hollow.
"You are evil man.", the shaman laughed.
"Hey I learn from the best.", he defended himself and began searching for more Hollows.

Ok before anyone says something about Sui-Fengs behavior. Yes it was uncharacteristic for her but I thought she needed a change of character and I never explained what she was like behind the curtain of her daily life.
