Hello, my lovely readers. It's me again. I am hanging my head in shame because I said I would be back in three weeks which turned into two months. Please, thank Kevin H for asking me to post again. Okay, here was the problem: I had no idea who kidnapped Caroline. I'm not sure I know now. Maybe at the end of the chapter. See you there. Enjoy!

Chapter 9: Klaus, Don't You Dare Bite the Mail Man

Leaping out the window of her room, Rebekah fell safely to the ground. Damon dropped down beside her, in a crouching position. "What a rush," Damon whispered with a grin. Truth be told, he was a having a great time with Klaus chasing them around the Originals' mansion. He had been bored lately. Rebekah turned to give him a withering look before peering upward at the sound of splitting wood.

"He got through," Rebekah whispered to Damon, who rolled his eyes.

"Really, I thought it was Santa and he forgot about the chimney. And the whole it being June." Damon snarked as they began to run around the mansion.

"Damon. Rebekah," Elijah called to them. He was standing beside Kol and Mikael in front of the mansion. Elijah had his arms folded and he looked more like a real estate agent than an ancient vampire whose brother's poisonous bite would cause hallucinations which would be a day more miserable than spending a day alone with Kol. Or maybe not, given the way that Kol was smirking at the situation.

"You know, I rather like it when Nik bites me," Kol exclaimed with a wide grin. Everyone turned to Kol and, without a word, Mikael swatted Kol across the back of his head. "Ow. Father. Was that necessary?"

"When you say something that foolish, it is my job to smack some sense into you, Kol." Mikael shook his head at his youngest son. "I swear I need to have a paternity test done to make sure you are my kin."

"Do me a favor and make it sooner. Maybe then I can return to my real family." Kol snapped, rubbing at his head although it didn't hurt that much. His father had bruised his pride.

"What was that, boy?" Mikael snapped, staring at Kol.

"Nothing, father." Elijah called, staring at Kol with a deep frown.

Kol stuck out his tongue at Elijah. Hearing something crunch, he looked over to see Klaus walking around the house. Grinning widely, Kol began to whistle and clap his hands together. "Here, boy. Come here, my lovely, furry older brother. Come bite the Salvatore treat!"

Damon turned to stare at Kol in horror, his eyebrows rising high. "Why?" He asked, before running for his life followed by Rebekah, Elijah, Mikael and Kol.

"Why not?" Kol cried, laughing with Klaus snapping at his heels. "This is more fun than the time Nik and I went on a tour of Europe during - century. We spent a week living in the Vatican. Nik dressed as the Pope and conducted mass. I think that was when that Borgia guy was running the show."

Damon slammed the door in Kol's face after they all ran back inside. "That is not very nice." Kol called as Damon sneered at him.

"Pardon my manners," Damon snapped as Klaus jumped on top of Kol and began to bite him. "Well, I guess he got his wish." Turning around, Damon fled back up the stairs and ended up in Klaus' room with the rest of the Originals.

"Where is Kol?" Elijah asked, narrowing his eyes as Damon dashed into the room and slammed the door shut. He and Rebekah began to push Klaus' desk in front of the door.

Frowning, Damon grunted as he and Rebekah moved the four poster bed in front of the door. "The last time I saw him, he was teaching Klaus how to play fetch. Where the hell do you think he is, Elijah?"

"Did you leave him down there with Niklaus?" Elijah growled, stepping toward Damon.

"Elijah, Damon is not immune to Klaus' bite like we are." Rebekah called to Elijah, stepping between the two using her most soothing voice.

"I do not have a problem with Niklaus biting Kol. Maybe it will teach the boy to stop being so headstrong and impulsive." Mikael stared at all of them darkly. "Maybe a wolf bite is what you all need. The only one of you who is sensible would be Elijah. I shall not test him to make sure he is my son."

"What?" Rebekah growled. "Father, are you mad?"

Mikael stared back at her blankly. "No, I no longer trust things that I thought to be true. Now that I know about Klaus' being my son, I have to question whether the rest of you are indeed my children. Especially Kol. I always thought there was something odd about him."

Staring out the window intently, Damon began to frown. "Guys," he called.

"What do you mean you do not think we are your children?" Rebekah snarled at her father.

"Well, Rebekah, if you must know your mother had more than one affair. So, I thought I should make sure that you are indeed my child." Mikael told her, looking stern as his eyes brightened and he stepped closer to her and yanked a hair out. "This should do." Picking up an empty envelope off the corner of Klaus' desk, Mikael placed the hair inside. "I shall send this to the boys in the lab. We should find out the results in a week."

Rebekah's eyes widened. "First of all that was very rude. You do not go ripping people's hair out unless they have the name Petrova or Gilbert. Secondly, I do not see the point in your newfound obsession with paternity tests. One minute you want to kill Nik; now you act like he's your long lost son."

"Technically speaking, Rebekah, he is." Elijah responded while staring at the piled up furniture in front of the door. "And we are Originals, well, all of us except for the Salvatore brother. I do not understand why we are hiding from Niklaus."

"Would all of you shut up!" Damon shouted at the Originals, who all turned to stare at him. Sighing in relief, he quirked his pointer finger at them and indicated the window.

When Rebekah looked down, she gasped. Klaus was now lying on the ground, naked as the day he was born. Kol was sitting beside him covered in bites and giggling about something.

Flashing downstairs, Rebekah jerked the front door open to see a group of teenagers taking pictures of her naked brother, who was simply lying on his back staring at the sky. "Nik. Kol. Come in. As for you worthless brats. I will rip your eyes out if you do not stop." Flashing before the group, Rebekah took their cameras and phones, compelling them to forget the strange nudist on her lawn.

Striding over to Klaus and Kol, she stood over her two delinquent brothers. "Help me with these two," she ordered Damon, who raised his eyebrows looking at Klaus.

"I'll help you with Mr. Breaking Damon's Bones with my Baseball Bats is my Favorite Hobby. But I will not help with Mr. Psychotic Hybrid, who is currently in a state of I never wanted to see that before in my life, nor do I want see it again."

Rebekah rolled her eyes. "Come on, Nik. Please!" She tried to pull him by the arm toward the house but Klaus was like dead weight. "Nik. This is not funny."

"She's gone." Klaus muttered. "Someone took her. They took her from my bloody home." Sitting up, he began to seethe. "They will pay with their lives. I will kill them and everyone they ever met. And then I will kill everyone those people every met or will meet and so on. Soon I will kill everyone in this bloody country if I have to until I find her and bring her home. Not that this is her home. I need a drink." Looking around him Klaus seemed disoriented. "Why am I sitting on the lawn?"

Rebekah rolled her eyes. "Let's go inside and get you dressed. Then you can kill as many people as you would like," she said in the most soothing manner she could as Klaus got up and trudged inside. As they walked in, she saw Finn and Sage walking down the stairs. "Where have you two been, pray tell?"

"We were making up for lost time." Sage told her with a wide grin.

Finn shook his head. "Why is our brother covered in grass stains?"

"Why's he naked? Not that I am complaining." Sage inquired as Finn gave her a long look. "Sorry, babe. I only have eyes for you."

Rebekah stalked off toward the Great room. "Somebody get this guy a pair of pants, would you?" Damon begged anyone who would listen to him as he tried to not look at Klaus, who was pacing around the room.

"Don't like it, Damon, I suggest you leave before I stake you for fun." Klaus growled, gulping down the contents of his glass and pouring another drink.

"If you insist on being naked, then can I at least have drink." Damon asked as Klaus rolled his eyes and poured one. Holding it out to his least favorite Salvatore, Klaus thought about killing him just because he was drinking in his house. "And if you insist on being naked I think I'll make myself at home, too." The Originals just gaped at Damon as he took his clothes off. "There. That's much better.

Staring at Damon, Rebekah walked over to where Klaus stood and elbowed him out of the way. "I need a drink," she muttered.

"So, Barbie Klaus, plan on joining us?" Damon questioned Rebekah with an even wider grin as he waved at his state of undress.

Rebekah gulped. "No. I shall go and make sure that Kol is alright. Try not to kill each other, will you?" Thinking about it, she hesitated in the doorway. "On second thought, if you must kill each other, do it outside, I like the carpet in here."

Striding up the stairs, Rebekah found Kol crouched on the window sill of his bedroom window. "It's snowing," he giggled.

Blinking, Rebekah shook her head. "Kol, are you alright? I noticed that Nik bit you a couple of times?"

Kol turned to her, his eyes glazed. "I smell gingerbread. Do you think mother is baking? Could she be downstairs? Come, Bekah. We must make a Christmas tree. If you believe in the mighty pine cone, it will appear. Tee hee." Running down the hall, Kol leapt onto the bannister and went down it head first.

Rebekah closed her eyes as she heard Kol make contact with the floor with a sickening crunch. "Elves. The elves took the little blonde princess and replaced her with a doll. Look for the doll, Nik." Muttering to himself, Kol began to roll around at the base of the stairs.

"Kol, stop that this instant." Elijah snapped, folding his arms over his chest. Kol simply grabbed his brother's pants leg and began to climb up it. "Stop that this instant, Kol." Elijah attempted to shake Kol from his leg as his brother got higher.

Rebekah grabbed Kol by the ear. "Nik, has already violated enough of us for one day. So, you can stop that right now."

"Bekah, I love you," Kol told her making Rebekah's eye widen in horror as he attempted to kiss her.

Reaching out, Elijah grabbed Kol by the shirt collar and was shocked when Kol tried to kiss him, too. "Stop it, Kol."

"Father, said we're not related." Kol sang. "Therefore it is okay to express my love."

Kol was suddenly smacked in the head with a baseball bat. Turning, the Originals were not surprised to see Damon standing there with a bat. "I always wondered if that was as fun as it looked." He told Rebekah and Elijah.

On the Old Lockwood Property:

"I need to get back. Klaus is going to be really angry that I'm missing," Caroline told her captors as she stood inside the cell.

"She's been compelled." Tyler insisted as he stared at his friends.

"If Klaus finds out we took Caroline he will come after all of us," Elena muttered looking unhappily at her friend in the cell.

"He's a monster, Lena. We couldn't leave her there," Bonnie snapped shaking her head.

"So, do we have a plan?" Matt asked.

"We're going to fix her." Stefan snapped at them.

"I don't need to be fixed," Caroline moaned placing her hands on the bars.

"Yes, you do," Tyler snapped at her and then sighed when Caroline frowned at him and turned her back.

"We need to find the vampire who compelled her to think she's in love with Klaus and kill him/her," Stefan told them.

"Really? Don't you think killing me would solve all your problems?" Katherine asked walking down the stairs and into the room.

Back at the Mikaleson's:

Klaus walked up to his bedroom and found a doll sitting on his bed. "What in the bloody hell?" Picking it up, he stared at the toy. Looking more closely, he found writing on its leg. Property of Caroline Forbes was written on the doll's leg. Sitting down on the bed with the doll in hand, Klaus began to stroke its hair thoughtfully. It reminded him of Caroline. But that was wrong. She was a girl, no, rather a woman. A grown woman, who could rip someone's heart out with her bare hand. Setting the doll down, he found a piece of paper.

You can have her if you want her. Let me have my freedom.

Love and hate,

Katerina

Throwing the doll across the room and crumpling the paper in his fist, Klaus got up. "I will kill her." He bellowed as his family and Damon walked into his room.

"What's wrong, Nik?" Rebekah asked, scared that he would transition again.

Holding out the paper gripped in his shaking fist, Elijah smoothed it out and then groaned. He handed it to Rebekah who growled. "That bloody little bitch. Nik, that Petrova doppleganger will not take what is ours. We will find her, torture her and bring Caroline back."

"You know you're kind of missing the big point here." Damon told Rebekah, shaking his head.

"And what would that be?" Rebekah snapped at him.

Damon rolled his eyes. "Let's see. That would be the part where Caroline does not belong to you. Number two, you have no idea where the hell she is. And, number three, the most important in my mind: whatever happened to the movie? I was all ready for my close up?" Smiling brightly, Damon ignored the death glares from the siblings. "So, Papa Original, times a wasting?"

Mikael looked thoughtful. "You're right, Damon, but we must find Caroline first. She is our leading lady."
