A/N: I don't understand why people keep saying that Sarada's mom is Karin? I'm pretty sure Sasuke wouldn't touch Karin, even with a forty inch pole.

But anyway, this one-shot won't really have much Bolt in it since he's too busy being a loser with his dad. But definitely more SasuSakuSara family time

oh and please review any opinions, or any suggestions for one-shots I could do. Maybe I'll use them!

Chapter 10: Drawing

''Oh yes, perfect shannaro!'' Sarada beamed as she sat at the desk in her room, and drew on a blank white paper with some crayons her mom bought her.

Her eyes lit up, as she attempted to draw a picture of her and Sasuke. ''I can't wait until he sees it.'' a tint of red formed on her cheeks. She always enjoyed the time she spent with her Papa, even if it was short since he always went on missions. She'd deny it, but even her mom knew that she was a huge daddy's girl. Bolt even teased her about it sometimes, much to Sarada's frustration. Although, everything about Bolt frustrated her.

Who cares about that blonde loser, though. Right now, she was doing something that she considered special for her Papa. Something to show how much she really loves him.

Adjusting her glasses, she held it up and stared at it before grabbing a black crayon and drew the last finishing touches. She excitedly jumped up from her chair, and grabbed her drawing. ''Oh, almost forgot.'' she grabbed a red crayon and quickly drew one last thing before grinning and hugging the drawing to her chest.

Rushing down stairs she called out, ''Papa I made something for you!''

No answer.

Sarada blinked, walking into the living room. ''Papa? Where are you?!'' She looked around but couldn't find the older Uchiha.

Still no answer.

''Sarada?'' Her mom walked behind her, ''Something wrong?''

''Where's Papa?'' A frown grazed the younger Uchiha's lips, as she held the drawing tighter to her chest.

''Oh, he left for a mission about an hour ago. Why?'' The pinkette noticed the drawing in her daughter's arms.

''N-Nothing... never mind...'' The disappointment in her voice was evident, her lips quivered as she threw the drawing on the table. Looking down, she walked away ''I-I'm going to go hang out with Bolt.'' she said before leaving.

Sakura let out a sigh, 'I know how you feel sweetie, but that's how it is with us.' she picked up the drawing, and her eyes widened silently as she smiled in awe.

''I'm sure he'd be happy to see this when he gets home.'' Although, hopefully he didn't leave for too long this time.

Sakura looked around for a good place to hang up for the drawing, ''Hmmm, what would be a good play~'' she hummed to herself.

Over the table?

No.

Above the book shelf?

No.

Above the sofa?

No...

She scratched her head, slightly furious with not being able to decide. Groaning, she snatched off her hairband.

''Sakura.'' The emerald eyed kunoichi turned to see Sasuke coming towards her, and she couldn't help but smile.

''Hey, did something happen?'' She said as she leaned over and kissed his cheek.

''Freaking Naruto waited till' I left to tell me that the mission was canceled.'' The Uchiha sighed, and he suddenly noticed the paper in her arms. ''What's that?''

''Oh, this?'' She arched an eyebrow, ''Well... it's a little present from our princess.'' Sakura beamed, handing it over to him.

Sasuke glanced at the drawing in his hand, his eyebrows raised and then a soft smile grazed his lips. He couldn't help but love the drawing.

It had a picture of Sarada and Sasuke holding hands in the village, with a big red heart above them that said 'I love you Papa'

''Sarada drew this, huh?'' He chuckled lowly as Sakura nodded, ''Where is she?''

''She left here a few minutes ago, and pretty disappointed no-less.'' she said with a half smile.

''I see...''

Sarada knocked on the door to the Uzumaki household, letting out a sigh. Why does he always have to leave? I hate that.

''Hello?'' The door opened to reveal Bolt's mom, and she looked down and noticed the small Uchiha. ''Oh, Bolt's girlfriend?'' she said with a smile.

''I-I I'm not his girlfriend!'' Sarada said with a flustered expression, ''I mean uhm... sorry to bother you Hinata-san, but is it okay if I hang out with Bolt for a bit?'' her onyx gaze drifted down, and she did the same finger fidgeting thing Hinata did at her age.

''Oh I'm sorry, he's busy with his dad at the Hokage tower.'' Hinata said, ''Do you wanna stay here until he comes back?''

''...No, that's alright.'' Sarada turned to walk away, ''Thank you for the offer.''

Hinata gave her a sympathetic look, and closed the door. 'Poor thing'

Guess I'll go back home then.

Although, the constant appearances of happy families laughing, and smiling together in the village didn't make Sarada feel all that better at all. It constantly mocked her.

'You'll never have this kind of happiness.'

'We all have better families than you do.'

She hated it. But she couldn't loathe them, just because they were fortunate enough to have good families. It's not that she didn't have a good family, it's the fact that those good family moments didn't last that long.

Although, maybe she was just being selfish, thinking this way. Maybe she should just feel grateful for the little time she actually got to spend with both her father and her mother. Her mother even once told her 'You should feel lucky you even have parents, your Papa lost both of his at a very age.'

Even so, he always talked about his parents with a smile. Although, her mom always warned her that it was a sensitive subject for him so Sarada was always very careful with what she said.

A tall, dark figure appeared in front of her and Sarada held back a yelp she almost let out. Looking up, she noticed who it was and a huge grin spread on her face. ''You came back?''

Sasuke lifted her up, and put her on his back so that her legs were on either side of his shoulders. She giggled as she was high up, and able to see a lot more of the village from her view. She never realized how tall he was, till' now.

''I'm sorry, Sara.'' The nickname he called her by, always made her smile.

''It's alright, Papa. I understand you're busy with missions and stuff.'' She hugged his head.

''Also, I wanted to talk to you... about this.'' He pulled out the drawing she made him earlier.

''Oh...'' Her cheeks turned red, as she tried her best to hide her face with embarrassment. ''I umm... made that for you, do you like it?'' she smiled nervously, fidgeting with her fingers.

''I love it.'' And at that moment, Sarada was even more grateful for the family she had.

Not because of the small time they spent together as a whole, but because of the irreplaceable love her parents unconditionally gave her.

I really am lucky, aren't I?
