Third person point of view:
Amun, Jonathan, Leah Clearwater, Bella, and Aro materialized on the ring transporter after the five rings had rose up out of the ground to materialize their molecules from subspace. The five rings then slid back into the ground. They immediately realized that they were surrounded by hundreds of Jaffa.
Leah Clearwater burst forth as a giant wolf and ran at vampire speed. She saw several staff blasts fire from the Jaffas staff weapons and dodged to the side just in time. In a fraction of a second she reached the Jaffa and body slammed a whole bunch while scratching a few others with her claws and ripping off the head of another with her teeth with a ferocious wolf's growl.
Amun was shot at by several staff weapons but he touched the wrist on his hand device raising his shield. When they stopped firing he aimed his hand at them and blew them away with a shot of kinetic force while running at several others at vampire speed and knocking them off of their feet.
Bella run at a bunch of Jaffa at vampire speed, dodging staff blasts and knocking away a whole bunch in a fraction of a second with vampire strength.
Aro ran at the Jaffa, dodging staff blasts at vampire speed while knocking away a whole bunch with Vampire strength.
Jonathan ignited his plasma sword, which was totally a Star Wars clichè, and several Jaffa fired their staff weapons at him. With deliberate will of his mind he deflected the staff blast with telekinesis, he then did an instantaneous site to site teleportation with his powers, and with his plasma sword he disarmed a whole bunch of Jaffa before cutting them down with his blade of superheated plasma. He turned and faced another group of Jaffa where with his free hand he conjured a bolt of high-intensity-energy and hurled it at them blowing them all away.
Benjamin's point of view:
I stepped onto the ring transporter with Jacob Black, Nessie, Edward, and Alec. The five rings rose up around us and then with a flash of light the ship disappeared and what reappeared in a fraction of a second later was a surrounding of wilderness. The five rings then moved back down into the ground and I immediately saw a wide open clearing with Amun and the others fighting hundreds of Jaffa. Jacob burst forth as a giant wolf and they all started helping. Some Jaffa started shooting at me. With my mind, in a fraction of a second, I lifted out of the ground a giant a two foot thick wall of dirt as a shield. I then levitated the wall of dirt on top of the group of Jaffa. I ran at another group at vampire speed and knocked them out.
I ran at another group of Jaffa and used my power of water to draw vapor out of the air and condense it to solid form. I slid on a quickly conjured pathway of ice right in front of me as I blew out of the palms of my hands densely concentrated blasts of Arctic winds like a think, heavy, dense spray of liquid-nitrogen that froze all of the Jaffa in my path in blocks of ice.
There were then three Death-Gliders flying at us. I looked in their direction and used my power of air. A giant tornado quickly appeared right in the Death-Gliders path and they were destroyed.
I looked around and saw that all of the Jaffa were dead. Most of them were anesthetized by Alec and then killed quickly by the rest of us. The rest of the team had arrived on the ring transporter.
"Where is the Ancient weapon?" asked Amun, looking around in every direction and none of us saw anything.
"This Jaffa is still alive." said Marcus, pointing to a Jaffa on the ground. "Aro, conduct an interrogation."
The former Volturi Leader, now the lowest ranking member of The Guard, made use of his gift of telepathy as he removed his gloves and took the Jaffa man's hand in both of his. Aro closed his eyes to the flood of memories as he held the Jaffa's hand for a few short moments. He then opened his eyes and let go.
"That direction." Aro pointed.
It was at that moment that Edward reacted.
Another injured Jaffa laying on the ground on his stomach covered in blood had aimed his staff weapon at Nessie and pressed the button on the handle with his thumb. Edward had stepped on the Jaffa's staff just as the blast of super heated plasma energy fired, hit the ground instead of Nessie, causing a rock to fly into the air at the speed of a bullet. The sharp edge of the rock hit Nessie hard in the face and broke the steel hard skin. Nessie shrieked with pain. The wound gushed blood as Amun ran to her at vampire speed to dab at her wound with a handkerchief. Everyone else ran to her too in concern.
"It's alright." Nessie said reassuringly. "It's already healed."
And it was true, she was no longer bleeding.
Bella was breaking the neck of the Jaffa out of vengeance. We moved on.
We ran in the direction that Aro indicated. While we ran I began to think. Amun was always very protective of me. Since the day he first found me 210 years ago, he lived in a constant state of dread that, Aro, would find out about me and try to incorporate me into his army of gifted vampires. Amun told me that he took me from my uncle and turned me into a vampire to protect me from Aro finding me. But, I am not stupid. I am not ignorant of the fact that Amun simply wanted my gift for his own coven.
Flashback:
March 17, 1799 - Cairo, Egypt:
I remember vaguely in my 200 year old dull human memories of what happened when I was really young. I was maybe 7 years old. I was sitting in front of the fire one night when I thought I could see shapes in the tongues of flame coming out of the red hot burning wood. It was just my silly childish imagination, but the images that I merely thought I was seeing, I concentrated to try and see them clearer. And then they just appeared in the flames. Horses, and birds, and people, in the flames, made out of fire! At first, in my child's-mind, I didn't understand, and I thought it was nothing. But it encouraged me to try again, and again, and again, and the fire did it every time. Eventually I noticed the pattern when I observed the moving shapes in the fire, and I then realized that it was me doing it. At that age, with my child's desire to play, I tried controlling the fire deliberately, and it worked. I tested the limit of my power and I found I could take the smallest ember and intensify the flame to a much larger and hotter flame, and then maintain the flame in the air with my mind. My mother had died a year earlier in an accident, I never knew my father, and my uncle had taken me in after several other foster parents had discarded me because they called me a burden. My uncle was a street performer, of games and plays, and other such shows. I showed my uncle my gift of magic fire. He was scared at first, but he quickly got over his fear of the unknown and decided to use me for financial gain. He had me perform in the street in magic shows and he told the people that it was just clever illusion. People paid to see it, and people from far away came to see it.
Among my uncle's care were several young children, one being a girl about 3 years younger than me by the name of Tia. She and I would play together during all our free time together. We told each other everything, confided in each other our problems and such. There were no secrets between us. I knew that I loved her with all my heart at a young age, and she and I then hoped to marry after we were grown.
Amun came to see me perform when I was fifteen years old. He was not fooled, for he knew it was no illusion that I was doing, my ability to control fire with my mind was a genetic mutation in my DNA.
Later that night before me and my uncle got home Amun stole me from the night killing my uncle in the process. When I woke up I was in an underground temple of the Goa'uld. Amun and Kebi were standing in front of me. Amun explained who and what he was and that he had identified my gift of fire. He explained what my powers were, and how they worked. He told me all about vampires and that they were real, and vampire-law and that the secret must be kept. He then told me about the Volturi, and that they would want to take away my free-will if they found out about my powers. He said that I was lucky that he found me first before they did, and that he was willing to protect me from them, and that he could train me to make my powers significantly stronger than they already were. I wasn't sure to believe him right away, but he showed me vampire abilities of strength, and speed, and diamond hard skin. He seemed sincere. So I believed him and agreed to his proposal.
He then brought his mouth to my neck and I felt the skin cutting of his razor-sharp teeth. I then felt the fire burn through my veins. The hot searing pain was unendurable, but there was no way to stop it, and my body wouldn't die. I begged Amun to kill me, to end the pain, but he didn't. Time passed and the fiery hot pain never lessened, but I felt my self getting stronger. Eventually the fire did stop. And when it stopped I got up from my place. I looked around, I saw with perfect vision, everything was so clear. I could hear the tiniest sounds in my ear. And then with my sense of smell...I felt the thirst! The burning fire! Only it was only in my throat, not all over my body like before. And then what I saw was several humans on the floor, dead, but their bodies were still warm, clearly they had not been dead for long. Without thinking, my brain shut down, and I ran at vampire-speed right at the nearest dead human and sank my teeth into his neck and sucked all his blood out of his body through the bite wound. As the blood went down my throat the fire in my throat turned cold, and on my tongue the pleasure-center of my brain felt an incredible euphoria like I never imagined! His veins went dry in seconds, it was very unsatisfying. I drained the blood of every human in the room until there was nothing left. The fire in my throat was cool, and the thoughts in my brain were clear.
He introduced the vampire woman behind him who was off to the side who was named Kebi. Kebi was quiet, did not speak unless spoken to or unless it was absolutely necessary.
With the clear head of the absence of my thirst right after feeding, the first thing that came to my mind was, Tia. I could never see her again. No! I would not accept that.
I then told Amun that I worried about a dear friend of mine.
"No." said Amun with a serious voice. "When you become a vampire, you must let go of your human life."
Let go of your human life. That was the first lesson that Amun made me remember. Second, I had to stay in the underground temple so that the Volturi wouldn't find me. Other than that, he treated me with perfect fatherly kindness, and because of, I quickly grew to love him, and I wanted to spend the rest of eternity with him as father and son.
Then my training began. First was intellectual; he said he wanted to train me to be a strong warrior, but before I could learn the physical, I first had to master the mental. He taught me everything that he knew. He taught me all about advanced science and mathematics, and the laws of physics. He then taught me about the Goa'uld and their technology and their history. He told me where he came from and that he was once one of them. He unintentionally created vampires in an alien laboratory by accident and eventually the 'supposed infection' spread.
I got thirsty frequently, I was only sometimes denied blood, because Amun explained that it was very important that I understand that a 'true' strong vampire controls his thirst, and does not allow his thirst to turn him into an out-of-control homicidal monster going on an hourly feeding frenzy. It seemed logical, and made sense. But self control was hard. Though he reassured me that it took practice, for he himself had been practicing for nearly 5000 years. Kebi and Amun took turns guarding me and hunting for me. Usually they bring home the bodies dead, but some times Amun brings them home alive.
"Killing humans is an unavoidable part of vampire life." said Amun. "Though I do have one friend who has managed to pull it off by living off of animal blood, but let's focus on one challenge of time."
He then gestured to the humans on the floor in front of me. "Think about your thirst and kill them."
I found killing to be easy like all vampires do. I felt little remorse, but I did feel some.
Once the mental was mastered, we moved on to the physical; Amun and Kebi trained me to fight. They told me that there would be many times throughout my existence as a vampire where I would be forced to defend myself.
Once I had the basics of the physical, then came my extraordinary gift. He asked me for countless demonstrations of my power, and to push its limits. As easy as controlling fire always was for me, it was 10 times easier now, it was almost effortless.
Then one day something strange happened, while I was studying some scientific work on how tornadoes are formed by warm moist wind colliding with cold dry wind a tornado appeared in front of me, a small one, for just a moment. Curious? Then an idea came to me, I tried moving air with my mind. And it worked, gusts of air blew everywhere at the deliberate thought of it. It took a little effort, but as time went by it became easier. Amun was surprised but please. I always sought to please him, so I continued doing it. I could move the air in the room around at incredible speeds or shift atmospheric pressure to make the atmosphere thick in one part of the room or thin in another part of the room. Then one day on a whim I tried levitating rocks. And with a little effort I found that I could. And as time went by it became easier. Not only could I levitate rocks but I could grind them into gravel with my mind, or merge gravel, or sand into solid rock, or even turn sand into glass. I could cause earthquakes, or open up fissures in the ground. Next I found that I could levitate water with my mind. Again Amun was pleased. I found that I could manipulate the water in many different ways; I could turn either ice or water into vapor or vice-versa. I could turn water vapor in the air into liquid form or solid form or even freeze water with my mind. I found that by turning water into vapor and causing it to precipitate and then move it around with my power of air I can create lightning, though I found electricity difficult to control, I continue to practice though. My powers had limits, as it seemed I was not completely omnipotent. But I found that if I pushed my powers to their limits really hard with my maximum effort then very gradually the limits would pushed itself further out. Amun was confident that I would become more and more powerful as time went by. Though he also feared that the Volturi would find me.
This went on for 4 ½ more years. When I had overcome the newborn madness I thought about Tia more and more. She would've been 13 years old by that time, and I didn't know what happened to her. I couldn't help but bring this matter up to Amun. He again became irritated at my persistence on the matter and he again told me to let go of my human life and then he very firmly told me that we will not speak of this matter again. I allowed the matter to rest until it was approximately 5 years after he had changed me.
I had never forgotten, Tia. I knew that I was a vampire and that she was a human and that my first instinct was to drink her blood, but at the same time I wished that she and I were here together. I thought about being with her and not killing her, and I still wanted to marry her. She would be 17 years old now. But then I thought, 'Do I have to fear the Volturi for the rest of eternity? I love Amun like a father, but do I have to stay with him while I live in fear of the Volturi, and still live in fear that I don't even know what happened to Tia?' All of that to consider was too much.
I loved Amun like a father, but all children who love their fathers must declare their independence at some point. If I was still human I would be 20 years old by now. But of course ever since I was bitten I have not aged a day. So I was still 15, while Tia is 17. Age doesn't matter though, I just want to be with her.
So that was it. I'm declaring my independence. It is time for me to leave. I waited for Amun to go out hunting. He was going to bring me back some blood. Kebi was left to babysit me, but I wasn't going to have any of that.
"Kebi?" I called to my babysitter who was still a 5000 year old Goa'uld slave girl. "Tell Amun that I am sorry but that I have to declare my independence and I have to find my own way in this world."
I waved my hand at the ceiling and thought for its stone structure to collapse. And just as at the will of my mind Kebi was cut off from me. Nothing that she couldn't dig through, but it would take it would take her a little while. It was just enough time for me to leave the temple. I smelled the fresh air and I ran. I caught the scent of several vampires but I was careful to avoid them.
I ran to the town of Cairo. I questioned a number of people that I knew had known, Tia. I got the big impression that some of them recognized me a little, but at the same time my physical appearance was slightly different so they would never suspect that I was the 15-year-old boy that they thought they knew five years ago.
I had then learned from a number of sources that after my uncle had died, Tia was passed around to a number of foster homes, but one year ago had been married to a much older man. I discovered the home address of Tia and her husband. I had stayed out of the sun to avoid the sparkling skin effect and I had, by staying out of sight, observed Tia all day. Then when she was alone in her house at night while her husband was out I entered through the window and confronted her.
"Tia, it's me Benjamin." I said to her.
At first she was frightened but I used my vampire charm to sway her fears and help attract her towards me.
"Benjamin? Where have you been all this time?" she asked.
"I was kidnapped from the night five years ago and I've been under someone else's care." I told her. "I have only just recently left him so that I could come to find you."
For the next few hours I talked with her. She told me everything that was going on in her life. I in turn told her everything about vampires, that they were real, what they really are, and that I wanted to turn her into a vampire so that she and I could be together because I still loved her. I did however tell her that if she was happy with her new life that I would leave her.
She told me that her life had been difficult for the past five years and that she thought of me often, and that she wanted to be with me. I picked her up in my arms and I leapt out of the window landing on the ground on my feet, and ran off at vampire speed. I use my powers to create an opening in the ground where we could stay out of sight.
With the practiced self-control that Amun had taught me, I allowed my teeth to pierce the skin on her neck just briefly. I tasted her blood, it was delicious! I went into the feeding frenzy, I didn't want to stop. I sucked blood from her bite wound for only a few short seconds until I got a hold of myself and pulled my mouth away from the bite wound.
I knew what would happen to her next. I felt horrible. She felt the pain. I knew she was burning in the hideous fire in her veins. I tried freezing her body in ice in an attempt to counteract the sensation of heat but it did no good. All I could do was wait.
Three, long, arduous days later of her screaming and writhing in pain, her agony finally stopped and she opened her eyes to her new life. Her skin was pale white, her eyes were ruby-red, and I knew she would be feeling the thirst. Another lesson that Amun had taught me was that killing was unavoidable for vampire e,xcept for his friend who lived on animal blood, but neither her nor I had any craving for the animal blood. I told her all about vampire-law and how we had to keep the secret, and no one could know about us, and when we do hunt we have to hunt smart. She and I found some poor unfortunate simpletons that would not be missed. Once I knew that the fire in Tia's throat was cold, I started to wonder what next?
I knew in that moment that Tia and I were free. We could run to the far corners of the earth for the rest of eternity. But at the same time, now that I had Tia, my primary desire, my secondary desire began to make itself known. I still wanted to spend my life with Amun as father and son.
I knew that Amun wanted me badly because of my powers. And his only real concern was my connection to my human life, which was Tia. So I'd now realized I had no connection to my human life. If Amun could accept Tia, then I could accept living with Amun.
It had been seven days since I had run away. So me and Tia went back.
When we got back Amun was very upset. But I gave him my ultimatum, I would stay with him if he would allow Tia to live with me. He accepted.
End flashback:
We continued to run on Anubis's planet in the direction of the ancient weapon.
It was a few minutes later that we came across another group, but this group was completely different from Anubis's troops.
There were five of them. Two were human, one male one female, wearing standard Air Force green and brown camouflage clothes and holding P-90 Machine Guns. Two others were Jaffa, one was old who's Goa'uld tattoo on his forehead indicated that he was a former First Prime of Apophis, while the other was a boy barely in his teens. The last one was in a human body, but I believe he was Goa'uld.
"Stop!" said Edward warning the rest of us not to hurt them. "They are not servants of Anubis."
The woman raised her weapon and looked and our clothing with curiosity.
"You guys are wearing Earth clothing." said the woman. "Who are you?"
"They are vampires." the Goa'uld cut in, only he spoke in his host's normal voice.
"What!?" said the woman in shocked disbelief.
"Who are they?" whispered Carlisle to Marcus.
"The two humans must be from Earth, possibly from the SGC." said Marcus.
"Does the SGC know that vampires exist?" asked Carlisle.
"There are a number of Intelligence Agencies around the world that suspect of our existence, but I can promise you, we the Volturi have made sure that there is no hard evidence for them to prove it to either themselves or anyone else. And we keep our eye on them all the time."
"Should we be honest with them?" asked Carlisle.
"I don't think secrecy is exactly important right now, however perhaps we might persuade them to not speak of us. Or perhaps we can convert them when we take them back to earth."
Carlisle then grew concerned at that. "Let us not be hasty, and we'll take all this one step at a time."
It was Carlisle who stepped forward to make first introduction.
"I am Doctor Carlisle Cullen. Pediatrician, Diagnostician, and Neurosurgeon. We are here to stop Anubis's weapon, and yes, we are vampires. May I ask who you are?"
The woman paused for a moment.
"I am Adolfina, of SG-1." said the woman. "I am the apprentice of Dr. Daniel Jackson. This is my husband, Skarra of Abidos. This is Brea'tac of Chulack and his apprentice Ryac, son of Teal'c. And this is General Jacob Carter of the United States Air Force. And I am curious as to what you are...I mean...are you some kind of alien or something?"
"Time is of the essence!" warned Amun. "We don't have time to explain."
"I can speed up that." said Nessie.
Nessie stepped forward and raised her hands to Adolfina's and Skarra's faces. Adolfina and Skarra stepped back in caution.
"It's alright." she reassured.
Her positive vampire aura that she gives off must have helped because Adolfina and Skarra did not retreat any further. Nessie placed the tips of her fingers on both of their faces. Adolfina and Skarra closed their eyes in concentration as they gasped in surprise at what must have been the flood of memories flowing into their minds.
After a few moments she took her hands off of their faces and then they were breathing hard as they fell forward on their hands and knees as though exhausted.
"I am sorry." said Nessie in a tone of concern and remorse. "The emotional transference and flood of memories can be a little overwhelming for humans."
"That was extraordinary." said the boy Skarra as he looked at Nessie with awe.
"Incredible." said Adolfina, equally intrigued.
"And of course we will not tell anyone of your existence. Though this is extraordinary, vampires being real and live on earth in the thousands."
Nessie walked over to Brea'tac and Ryac and placed her hands their foreheads. A few moments later she pulled her hands off of them and they too looked at her with astonishment she then walked over to the man named Jacob Carter and she placed her hand on his forehead for a few moments before taking it off.
"A half human half of vampire hybrid?" He said with disbelief. "Amun, your experiment has produced some rather unusual results after the initial infection." he said directed his question to Amun.
Jasper then walked up to Jacob Carter.
"You're a US military Officer?" asked Jasper with interest.
"Yes." said Jacob Carter. "Retired. But I agreed to share my body with a symbiote in order to cure myself of my cancer."
Jasper then extended his hand.
"Major Jasper Whitlock Hale, Confederate Army, Civil War." said Jasper in introduction. "I was granted immortality against my will before the Civil War ended, in order to fight a vampire's war."
Jacob Carter shook his hand.
Amun frowned and tilted his head sideways as he looked at Jacob Carter and then walked right up close to him, leaned in close and inhale deeply at Jacob Carter's neck through his nose. He then pulled his head back and raised eyebrow and interest.
"I never forget the smell of a Symbiote." said Amun with amused interest. "Selmak? Lord Selmak of the Tok'ra, is that you?"
Jacob Carter's head fell forward for a moment and when he lifted his head his eyes opened wide and his eyes glowed.
"Lord Amun!" said Jacob Carter, only this time in the loud and distorted voice of the Goa'uld. "It has been almost 2500 years, has it not?"
"It has been too long old friend." said Amun. "Though you had a female host back then."
Matilda then stepped forward.
"I am Matilda Wormwood of Esper Mansion. Our two organizations have an alliance."
"Yes. I am pleased to meet you, Master Esper."
Marcus then stepped forward.
"Lord Selmak, of the Tok'ra. I am Marcus, leader of the Volturi. I think we met once, long ago?"
"Yes. I do recall. But I thought that, Aro, over there was the leader of the Volturi?"
"My brother is repaying me a very serious debt. He is sentanced to 4000 years as the lowest ranking member of the Guard."
"Yes, yes, but we have no time to reminisce." warned Amun. "Anubis's weapon is charging the earth Stargate with energy until it explodes. The resulting destruction will wipe all life off of the earth."
"Then we must hurry!" said the Tok'ra, Selmak.
