Winter break had started and it couldn't have started any better. Kurt, Blaine, Rachel and Mercedes had been hanging out with every chance that they had
It was a Saturday afternoon and the gang of four were at the Lima Bean having a chat about anything that came to mind.
"So Blaine." Rachel started. "Watcha doing for Christmas?" she asked.
"Well I'm goanna be at mom's and Kurt and his dad are goanna come round for dinner."
"Aww! That's sweet that you're spending your first Christmas together." She said whilst clapping quietly.
"Yeah; I guess it is." Blaine said shyly.
"How about you Rachel, what are you doing for Christmas?" Mercedes asked
"Well my dad's and I are going to Paris for our Christmas and then we'll be going to Italy for New Year's." She said
"Yes! I won't have to spend all of my winter break listening to Rachel go on about this, that and the other." Kurt said jokingly.
"Very funny Kurt." she replied sarcastically.
"Hush you two." Mercedes said. "How about we go to the mall and do some Christmas shopping?" she continued.
"Yeah, I'd love too. There's still so much in have to get." Kurt said.
"Sounds great" Rachel beamed.
"Perfect, there's still a few presents i need to get as well" Blaine said looking at Kurt without him noticing.
"Yay, let's go you guys" Mercedes said before they got up and headed towards the mall.

When they got to the mall Kurt and Blaine were walking side by side holding hand as they were admiring the scene. "I love Christmas. It's my favourite time of the year." Kurt said dreamily
"I love it too. I love baking cookies with my mom. You gotta try them at Christmas. I don't mean to brag but they are Amazing." Blaine said grinning
"Well i can't wait. You should try my Christmas cake. I do mean to brag and it's like the best thing ever." Kurt replied cheekily.
"We'll see." Blaine said pulling Kurt closer to him.
"Indeed we will." Kurt replied.
"I hate to split you guys up, but Kurt we need to go do that 'Thing'" Mercedes said.
Blaine looked at them confused and said "What thing?"
"Oh it's nothing. It's just a thing we do." Kurt said hoping Blaine will believe him.
"Okay..." he said cautiously. "I'll go do my errands with Rachel."
"Ooo yay!" Rachel said clapping her hands in her usual way.
Kurt and Mercedes walked in one direction while Blaine and Rachel walked in the other.

Kurt and Mercedes were walking around Macy's looking for something for Blaine.
"Do you think he believed me?" Kurt asked worriedly to Mercedes.
"I'm sure he did baby boy." Mercedes said encouragingly.
Kurt just nodded as he picked up a red woollen jumper.
"How about this?" he asked.
"Hmm. I like it but it sorta reminds me of a grandpa." she said whilst chuckling.
Kurt laughed and said "I guess you're right."
"How about this?" Mercedes asked picking up a royal blue short sleeved button up.
"I like it. And then this grey sweater vest?" Kurt asked
"Perfect" she replied.
"He'll look so cute in this. I can just see it." Kurt gushed.
Mercedes smiled and said "let's go pay for these." whilst grabbing his arm.
Whilst Kurt was paying for his outfit for Blaine a sudden idea hit him. "Cedes, i have an idea for a present i can give him on our date to match this outfit." he said bouncing up and down.
"Go on" she said.
"I could make him a bow-tie and get a heart shaped brooch to put on it" he replied.
"That's sounds so sweet Kurt. He's going to love it!"
"I hope so." he said whilst taking his bags from the cashier.
"Oh, i know so." She said as they left the store.

"Rachel, do you know what that 'thing' Mercedes was talking about?" Blaine asked nervously.
"Nope." she lied. And since she was a great actress he bought it.
"Okay." he said still nervous.
They were in a Tiffany jewellers looking for a present for Kurt. Something he knew Kurt would love and appreciate
"How about this?" Rachel said pointing to a very loud gold necklace.
"Ew no Rachel. I said something simple. What's simple about that?" He said.
"Fine sorry." she grumbled. "You know, no one appreciates my help." she said while crossing her arms around her chest.
"Hey no, I appreciate you helping me a lot." He said before pulling her into a hug.
She smiled and hugged him back. She pulled away and pointed at a thin silver bracelet that was diamond encrusted all the way round.
"How about that Blaine?" she asked a bit cautiously.
"Omg. Rachel, its beautiful." he said.
"And maybe you could get a charm that has a B+K attached to it?"
"That's an amazing idea Rach. Thank you so much."
"It's no problem Blainey." she smiled.
Blaine chose to ignore the nickname and went to find a jeweller so he could purchase the bracelet for Kurt.
Once Blaine found a jeweller, he quickly paid for the bracelet. As he was leaving the jewellers with Rachel he stopped her and said "I really can't thank you enough Rach" before pulling her into a hug.
"It's not a problem Blainey."
He pulled away and ignored the nickname again. They left the shop and Blaine said "we have one more stop to make quickly." and with that they went to the Alexander McQueen store.

Once Blaine and Rachel came back from the Alexander McQueen store. They met Kurt and Mercedes at the food court.
"Hey guys." Blaine greeted. "Sorry we took long. I couldn't find the right things for mom" he lied.
"No problem. We haven't been waiting long" Mercedes said.
"So what did you guys get?" Rachel asked.
"Just some baseball caps for dad." Kurt replied quickly.
"I just got a few presents for my mom and my sister." Mercedes smiled.
"What about you Blaine? What did you get?" Mercedes asked
"Oh i umm just got my mom this perfume she's being dying for, for a while now." Blaine said shakily clearly not ready for the question.
Blaine was worried he'd blown his cover but Kurt didn't seem to notice.
"So you guys ready to go?" Rachel spoke up.
They all nodded in agreement.
"How about all 3 of you stay round my house and we can watch movies and gossip like the usual?" Rachel suggested.
They all again nodded in agreement.
"Let's go then." she said clearly excited.
They all got up and made their way back to the car park for their sleepover at Rachel's
