Chapter 10

Author's Note: Thanks to these people for reviewing the last chapter it means a lot and words can't be expressed more than thanks and this chapter is for you guys, you should know who you are so I hope you all feel special because I enjoy thanking you guys for taking time to read this story as well as reviewing. Also this might be my weakest chapter so far in the story I was running low on ideas on how to put this chapter into motion but here it is so enjoy.

North looked down at the globe that was sitting still in his hand "North Pole" he whispered into the globe before it started swirling around inside before everything inside of it stilled to a stop and showing the North Pole. North quickly threw the globe onto the floor and running into the globe that expanded enough for the four Guardians to walk into it and straight into the North Pole. North turned to face the other three Guardians who all had small smiles on their faces "now we think of a plan to save Jack!" he looks from each of the other three who looked at him, Tooth nodded before flying over to stand by North "we all know that Pitch will be at his lair and that that's where he'll be keeping Jack prisoner at. The question is what part of the lair would he keep Jack?" she let out a sigh as a frown grew on her face.

The Guardians walked into North's office that was off to the side by the work shop that the yetis always worked at "we know that Pitch will be holding Jack in a room that doesn't have windows and that has only one door so there can't be any escape from Jack himself... so let's think like Pitch does and figure out where he would hold Jack at..." each of the Guardians looked from one to the other as they thought of a plan that would work when they'd be able to save Jack from Pitch as well as his fearlings that would most likely be watching the room that Pitch was keeping Jack in. "I'm sure Pitch is expecting us to rescue Jack, so we'll need to take Pitch out first before we're able to save Jack..." North said to the others who were all deep in thought. Bunny nodded who let out a loud sigh "crikey it's lonely without Jack being here" he frowned sadly as he looked at the others who were all staring at him.

North nodded his head while Sandy had sand pictures forming left and right above his head. Tooth watched both North and Sandy "I agree Bunny but we're going to find him and bring him home alive!" she gave him a soft smile which Bunny returned but it never reached his eyes. North sat down on the stool that he always sat on whenever he worked in the workshop "I got it! Bunny and Tooth will go find Jack while me and Sandy hold off Pitch and his fearlings! It should work and when Bunny has Jack you bring him back here while the rest of us will try and defeat Pitch!" he grinned finally as he explained his plan to the others who had looked up at him, North put a hand out in front of him. Bunny returned the grin before nodding at North "alright mate, I'm in" he put his furry paw in North's hand before they shook hands both Tooth and Sandy watched Bunny and North shake each others hand. Tooth smiled as they stood in front of North and his desk "so when do we put this plan into motion?" North looked at Tooth after she asked when they'll put the plan into motion to save Jack and to get rid of Pitch once and for all.

Each of the Guardians were still discussing the plan on how to get to Jack in Pitch's lair as well as locating Jack's location in the lair. They got ready to leave for Pitch's lair so they could get their winter spirit back. Neither of them wanted to lose Jack not after everything they've done to cause so much hurt and hateful things they said to Jack after all they did send him away on the day of Easter. "promise we'll do better for Jack? I don't think he can deal with being turned away anymore, it's all he's known for his 300 years... is being turned away as well as being invisible to humans that can't hear or see him..." Tooth let a few tears fall freely before turning her back on the others, Bunny's ears dropped down as he looked at the back of Tooth "we'll do better not for us but for him. He's earned that much, I still can't believe he died keeping his sister safe... I can see why the Man in the Moon made him who he is, even if Jack didn't remember any of it. It was still there inside of him without him even noticing" North shook his head before bringing out another snow globe. Tooth quickly wiped the tears from her face before turning to face the others "shall we than? We have a Guardian to save after all" she gave the others a small grin

The other three nodded their heads before North moved his face close to the globe itself before whispering to it "to Pitch's lair" he threw the globe onto the ground as it rolled before stopping a few feet from the four Guardians. The Guardians watched as the globe changed from a blank picture to a picture of Pitch's lair. They ran into the globe as it transported them to a part of Pitch's lair, the Guardians stood where they ended up before taking looking around the lair to see what it looked like before Pitch would notice them even being there. "crikey mate it's darker than I pictured it to be... how are we going to find Jack? And our way through here? Just what we needed" Bunny closed his eyes as he shook his head out of frustration. Next thing they knew what hit them was Pitch and his fearlings coming out of no where so each of the Guardians took an opponent and started fighting them "Tooth go now! Me and Sandy got this" Tooth turned to face North before giving a swift nod of her head, she ran over to Bunny before dragging him down the tunnels leading throughout Pitch's lair.

Pitch barred his teeth at the two Guardians that are standing in front of him and his fearlings that seemed to be battling against North and Sandman "well if it isn't the Sandman and the famous Saint Nick... or should I say Nicholas St. North which do you perfer?" North and the Sandman looked at Pitch when he started speaking to them. North glared at Pitch who smirked at the both of them "Pitch! Your going down!" North snarled as the two Guardians continued to fight the fearlings and Pitch who had black sand as weapons that formed different types to use against North and Sandy. North and Sandy were both close enough to Pitch that they noticed he was watching them from afar while his fearlings and the two Guardians fought against each other "I'm not going down without a fight! You should know that by now all of you should know that" he laughed which gave North the chills down his back.

It took North and the Sandman 30 minutes just to defeat all of the fearlings that were standing in the way of Pitch. Pitch was smirking from the shadows but didn't have time to form anymore fearlings, he knew it would take too long to form them so he just hid in the shadows that would help him move around "when we find you you Pitch we'll defeat you for sure. Maybe not forever but we'll just keep fighting you and we'll keep defeating you each time" Sandman grinned as he nodded his head in agreement to everything North said to Pitch who was barring his teeth at them in the shadows that he was currently hiding in "good luck with that" he laughed once again as he formed another weapon from his black sand. Pitch quickly transformed himself from the shadows on the other side of the room to the shadows right behind North and the Sandman. Both North and the Sandman didn't know that Pitch was sneaking up behind them in the shadows that were near them "we don't need luck, we have our own luck on our side!" North grinned as he listened for any sign or movement from Pitch.

Pitch made one swift move from behind the two Guardians that he didn't notice them realizing that there was movement behind them so they quickly turned in time before Pitch's attack succeeded that would of winded up taking down one of the two Guardians. "Are you afraid of the dark?" Pitch smirked as the room turned to darkness but Sandy had other plans which he sent gold sand everywhere that lit up the room. Pitch snarled at Sandy who was grinning once again at the boogeyman, the two Guardians started fighting Pitch who was attacking both of them at once with two different weapons made from his black sand.
