Blair's p.o.v.
We all got dressed and we went to the canal behind the house. Our mothers jumped into it, transforming after ten seconds. I jumped in too, together with Isla, Stacey, Jody and Matt. I came up and I wished to be a mermaid again. The rest of the group did it too and we followed our mothers to Mako island. I looked back and saw Maggie, Lucas and Ryan following us.
When we finally got at Mako, we surfaced at the beach. "I wish to be a human." I said and I felt the tingly feeling that my legs returned. "Hey, I'm still wet." Isla complained. I looked at myself and noticed it too. "Well, that's a first." Stacey said. "What do you mean?" I asked her. "This is the first time we're wet without getting our tails." "I liked it better when it wasn't like this." Matt mumbled. I gave him a mad look, although I wasn't really comfortable with this too. "Guys, c'mon. We need to go farther into the island." Emma called us. "We're coming." Stacey told her. We followed them and stopped by the waterfall. "Wasn't it easier to just swim to the moon pool?" Ryan asked his mother. "We don't need the moon pool. Here is more space to practice everyone's powers." Bella explained. "Who wants to go first?" Cleo asked. I saw that everyone kept still, so I sighed and said: "I'll go. What do I need to do?" "Just try your normal powers first." Rikki, my mother said. I put my hand in the right way to activate my powers, but nothing happened. "What…" I said and I tried again. "What is this, why won't it work." I said getting angrier by the second. "This is interesting." Lewis said to himself. "No it's not. I'll bet I can't even create a fire anymore." I yelled mad. Just then, a big flame appeared and covered both my hands. It even swallowed my whole body, but I only felt a slight warmth. "Blair!" Both my parents yelled. I saw Cleo and Maggie making the gestures and I felt the water falling over me, but it didn't help. I was still covered in fire. "Fire, it's all right. Let go of me." I said. The fire was put out, but I missed it. It was like I was part of it. "Blair. Is everything okay?" my dad asked. "Yes, yes I am." I answered.
