Thank you everyone for the feedback. I have decided that I will be continuing this story and I will be editing previous chapters. But for now, I thought it was a good idea to get a new chapter posted. It's not as good as my previous chapters (or at least this is my own opinion), but I am trying to get back into this story.

Anyways, on to the story

Disclaimer: I do not own Ouran High School Host Club or its characters. I, however, do own Yuki. He is my precious baby

Everything that had happened was a whirl of motion; Fall-san had run off, Tamaki and the twins had screwed something up like usual, and a wave had sent Hunny flying through the air and into an unknown part of the tropical resort. Sadly, Kyoya isn't shocked by any of these antics that had happened. These sort of shenanigans were normal on the day-to-day basic when the Ouran Host Club was present.

And then Mori just recently slipped on a banana peel, nearly laying lifeless on the pool's deck. It was like the icing on one of Hunny's numerous cakes.

"We need to go and find Hunny-senpai!" Tamaki announced, his index finger dramatically held into the air. "He's our precious club member and he is currently lost in the wilderness. Imagine the terrible things that could happen."

His attention turned towards his senpai, who was pulling himself into a sitting position. "Look at poor Mori-senpai. He's already imaginging the pain and distraught that our poor Hunny-senpai could be in!" Mori muttered to himself, covering his eyes with one of his hands.

"You're not helping to calm the situation, Tamaki," Haruhi pointed out.

"Well, what do you suggest we do, Milord?" the twins asked, ignoring Haruhi's comment.

"We must go and find Hunny-senpai!" Tamaki repeated.

The twins frowned, glancing at one another. "We kind of already figured that out," Hikaru said, placing a hand on his hip.

"It was pretty obvious," his brother added.

"So what's our plan of action?"

Tamaki rubbed his chin, closing his eyes as he thought. "Let me think," he said, drawing out the silence in the area except for the soft lapping of waves. "I know what we should do! Let us go this way," he began, dramatically pointing a finger in a random direction, "and begin our search!" His feet started moving in the direction, and the twins began to follow him as they pulled Mori's body along with them.

Kyoya stayed in his place, watching the horrible plan unfold with bemusement. It was probably a bad time for him to thank everybody for their time in the park; after all, Tamaki's plan to have some family time here was the perfect excuse for the Otori family to trail run their park. Though this could be another opportune moment because of their blundering mistake; the sheer thought of wandering through the resort's unmapped jungle was a terrible idea to him, but everyone else could do it themselves.

Or he could just call his police force.

"Guys, wait," Haruhi called after the group already leaving. The horde of idiots stopped in its track, turning towards the girl. "Shouldn't we wait for Yuki?"

"Fall-san has gone to change into a swimsuit," Kyoya informed, pushing his glasses up to secure them in place. "I doubt she would like if everyone disturbed her."

Haruhi turned towards him, her eyes crossing. "What are you talking about? Yuki wouldn't-" Her brow furrowed as she thought, and she turned away from Kyoya when she saw the raised eyebrow he was giving her. "It shouldn't take long to find Hunny=senpai, right? This place can't be that big."

Wrong, Kyoya thought. Tamaki smiled and turned away from the group. "That's exactly what I was thinking!" Bullshit, Kyoya thought, fixing his glasses once again. Nobody would believe the rubbish of Tamaki actually thinking that. "We'll be back before Fall-chan even notices that we're gone," Tamaki continued. "But we can't dawdle any longer We need to find Hunny-senpai!"

"Right!" the twins exclaim, saluting their fearless leader with their free hand.

A sigh finally escaped from Kyoya's lips because of the building stress. What a pain. He pulled out his cell phone and pressed a button, quickly getting into a conversation. He murmured his goodbye before sliding the phone into his khaki shorts. "This place is bigger than you all think. I have alerted the Otori police force about the situation at hand; if I don't call them back in two hours, then they will come here and search for Hunny-senpai," he explained.

"Perfect!" Tamaki exclaimed, his attention focusing towards the green scenery of the forest. "Let's go, gang!" he ordered, once again pointing.

The group, excluding Kyoya, began to follow Tamaki in silence. Kyoya crossed his arms over his chest as he watched the others move. "I wouldn't go that way," Kyoya said, "because there are-"

"Alligators!" numerous shrill voice cried out. The group ran back to Kyoya before deciding to go in another direction. His mouth opened once again to warn them but with no avail. "They're over here too!" a voice screamed. A high-pitched whine filled the air, complaining about how an alligator bit him.

Idiots. All of them. Especially Tamaki for being bitten. But it wasn't Kyoya's place to say anything.

His attention turned towards the changing area, seeing if Fall-san had come out yet. He sighed once again at the lack of the girl. "Come back over here," he beckoned to the group, cupping a hand to his mouth to ensure they could hear him. Once most of them they could see him, he raised a finger towards the opposite direction. "The wave went that way; it's the best way for us to search."

"We'll be right there once the alligator lets go of Milord," Kaoru announced.

Kyoya rubbed at the bridge of his nose. This day was going to be much longer than he expected.

The sudden pain that reeled through Yuki's body was painstakingly unbearable. He slumped down the metallic locked his backside was resting on the ground. His half-closed eyes glanced up at his two schoolmates, their laughs echoing in his ears. They've done this to him before. They didn't scare him right now.

It just worst. Way too much.

One of the men grabbed his head and pushed it again the group. The man reeled his hand back, forcing Yuki into the air a big, before throwing the smaller boy back down to the ground and untangling the black hair from his fingers.

"Fag! You're a fucking fag!"

Just leave me alone, Yuki thought. Why can't you just leave me alone already?

"Wake up!" one of the guy's voice said. "Just hurry and wake the fuck up!"

Yuki's eyes snapped open, his lungs gasping for air. His lungs stung with each breath as he tried to regulate his breathing. His eyes uneasily shifted around him, noticing that he wasn't in his school's hallway. It was a dream. Only a dream. They couldn't hurt him anymore. The realization helped to calm Yuki, and his breaths became steady as he stared up at green. His eyes squinted together as he comprehended the thick canopy above him and the lack of a blue sky.

Pain reeled through his head the longer he laid there. He slowly sat up, disorientation clouding his eyes. He groaned aloud, one hand reaching for his temple. What exactly had happened? He remembered the wave and that he hit his head against the side of the pool. That would explain the throbbing sensation. Subconcsiously he reached for his head and touched the tender skin, wincing at pain. Yuki's brow furrowed as his hand came down so his eyes could stare at the blood on his fingertips.

That definitely explained the throbbing sensation.

His blue eyes widened as his mouth gaped open. Something was missing. Something crucial was missing. His hands quickly reached up to the top of his head and felt around. "Where is it?" he asked aloud. His breathing started to become erratic again, changing between small and deep breaths. His hands played with the tips of his hair, the short tips of his hair that reached just beneath his ears.

Where did his wig go?

"Kyoya-senpai?"

"Yes, Fujioka-kun?"

"I think we're lost."

Perhaps it was an understatement. Or maybe it was it was an overstatement. He should have known the layout out of his family's newest resort. Should was the keyword, though. He didn't know that there was a switch that caused a tidal wave. He didn't know where that tidal wave had dropped Hunny. And he honestly didn't have the slightest idea as to where the group currently was.

He wanted to tell her that they weren't lost. "it would appear so," Kyoya said. There was no point in lying. The resort was too large, and there was no guarantee that Hunny would stay where he had landed; senpai could have already been on his way to meet up with everybody.

Haruhi sighed. "This isn't exactly how I wanted to spend my day," she mused aloud, stuffing her hands into the yellow sweatshirt's oversized pocket. "Believe it or not, but I actually had plans."

"Did those plans involve a sale at the market?"

Haruhi groaned again. "That would've been good to know before I was dragged here. There was a sale?" she asked, turning her attention to Kyoya. He didn't blame her for being bothered by being here. Club hours should ended about thirty minutes ago; coming here was just a spontaneous idea by their idiotic leader. "Let's just keep going," Haruhi decided, quickening her pace to lead ahead of the group.

Kyoya smirked as he looked over his shoulder at the lagging group. "Are you still coming?"

Mori—finally back to his senses—walked on his own next to the twins who were now pulling a delusional, blubbering Tamaki. They grunted with each pull who tried to resist being treated like a rag doll.

"Can't we take a break?" Kaoru asked, his voice shrill with a whine.

"Dragging such a defiant Milord is a pain," Hikaru added. "Why are we being punished for his own stupidity? It was his own fault that he slipped on a banana peel."

Lips pressing together, Kyoya thought for a moment, before relaxing his shoulders. "Fine. Five minutes, but then we need to continue. I really don't want the private force to come in here if they don't need to. We'll split up after our break."

The twins dropped Tamaki's arms and his face smacked against the ground. The blond groaned in distress and pushed himself onto his elbows. "Why did you drop me? You should be careful with the poor injured soul that I am!"

"Only an idiot hurts himself," they said in unison as they followed after the group.

This place was huge. And ridiculous. It was ridiculous because it was huge.

Yuki vaguely remembered Kyoya explaining the origins of the resort—a tropical paradise placed within a dome so it could be used year-round. Though he didn't want to admit it, the idea of the resort was a nice concept. But why were there animals here? If their purpose was to help patrons relax, then somebody didn't think this carefully.

The alligators were far from the idea of relaxation, especially when one could accidentally fall into a pit—like Yuki had done. The monkeys were somewhat understood, if it wasn't for all the peels they had thrown on the jungle floor. Luckly he hadn't slipped on a peel yet—the last thing he needed was another injury—but it was an action he wasn't going to cross off of his list. He knew it.

His eyes scanned the horizon as he continued to walk, trying to see if he could see any sign of the pool. He stepped on something soft and immediately lost his footing, sliding with the peel until he crashed into a tree. Lucky for him, he quickly thought to hold his arms out in front of him and stopped another injury to his face. His palms, not as lucky, had been scratched by the tree's bark.

"I am sick and tired of this," he said. He took deep, shaky breaths as he held onto the tree. He just wanted to hit something, but he wouldn't risk saying that aloud. Karma was proving to be a real bitch.

He turned away from the tree and winced as he pressed weight onto his foot. Of course it would be twisted. Yuki continued to walk as normally as he could with the splintering pain; he just needed to get out of this forsaken place. At least the pain from his ankle was helping him to forget about his head.

His brow furrowed as he saw an animal on the ground. Yuki gasped, taking a step backwards and nearly falling. But the animal hadn't stirred, and Yuki hesitantly took a step towards the dark creature. He nudged it with his foot. "Oh?" He bent down and picked up his wig, the still wet hairs plastering to his hand. He grimaced. It was too much of a mess to actually wear.

But he at least found it and Ryoji wouldn't kill him. But the host club was going to kill him when they found out the truth. Unless Yuki got to Kyoya first.

"I'm gonna make life for Glasses a living hell," Yuki swore aloud. He heard voices up ahead and he groaned. So they were looking for him. For a moment he forgot that he had lost his wig and walked towards the voices. "I swear… you're gonna pay for what happened today," he called out.

"Freeze!" a voice boomed. Yuki felt his eyes widened as his breath hitched in his throat. He definitely felt like a deer caught in the headlights.

Oh, shit.

During their short break, Mori and Haruhi had wandered off and Tamaki had trailed after them once everyone realized the pair was gone. Hikaru and Kaoru had gone their own. And this left Kyoya all by himself.

This could have easily been his moment for him to return to the pool's deck and begin to relax, but the better nature of himself kept him from doing so. He hated to admit it, but Hunny would have continued to look for Kyoya if he had been caught in a similar situation.

A sound emitted from Kyoya's phone and he pulled it out of his pocket, flipping it open so he could stare at it. "It appears that our time is up," he voiced aloud to himself.

He tucked his phone into his pocket and turned to leave the area, but a sound in the far distance stopped him in his tracks. It was a voice, a male one that didn't sound familiar. The voice continued, still as loud as before. Maybe it was nothing, a delusion of his. He kept walking away until he heard a shrill scream echo through the dome.

The voice sounded familiar, but he couldn't be too sure. Didn't she go back to the dressing room earlier. Or maybe she had gone to the pool and out of his sight. He shook his head as he began to walk, quickening his pace. As he pushed through the bush, Kyoya almost ran into somebody—Haruhi.

"I heard the loud voices. Is that your police force? Why was Yuki screaming? Where are they? What should we do?" She continued to ask questions, and it seems unusual for Haruhi to speak this much. She was scared. Every question she asked caused his own heart to thump.

So he wasn't imagining the voice. It was Fall-san. He began running again, Haruhi following behind him. Kyoya had to pray that he was moving in the right direction so he could help the girl before he got hurt. He was fueled by the fear of a liability issue. Or maybe it was fear for something else.

That stupid girl was too much trouble.

"Freeze!" the voice repeated. Yuki kept his eyes directed towards the ground and could see numerous pairs of dark, thick boots. He wondered who these people were and why they were in here. He slowly raised his head to look at the group standing before him. They didn't look familiar, or at least their uniforms didn't. He couldn't quite see their faces when they were hidden behind masks.

"Miss, put down the animal," the same voice said. The voice was deep, and Yuki guessed it was coming from the person in the front because of the way he raised his gun. The others behind him followed suit.

A vein began to throb on Yuki's forehead, or maybe it was just another bump. "Why is everybody assuming I'm a female? I'm not even wearing my wig!" he yelled, his face flushed red.

"Miss," the voice repeated. Yuki's blue eyes widened when the man pointed the gun toward him more. Now was not a good time to worry about the gender that others were calling him. Who exactly were these people? Police, maybe? No. They wouldn't wear a getup like this. "I need you to put the animal down and put your hands in the air. You need to come with us for some questioning about a missing person."

"Missing?" There was a missing person? Here? Wouldn't Yuki technically be the missing person? He shook his head. "This is a wig." Nobody moved, and Yuki's eyes shifted towards the wig in his hand, the strands of hair disgustingly plastered to his arm. He looked back at the men and held the wig out for them. "Here, I can show you," he offered.

"Disarm her!" a voice said.

Disarm? What? This is a wig! Yuki flinched as the man in front forcefully grabbed him by the wrist, squeezing it until Yuki dropped the wig. Yuki screamed at the contact, protesting. This was too real. This was way too real. The man stowed the gun away with his free hand. "Let go!" Yuki protested, wriggling in the man's grasp. The man twisted Yuki's arm behind his back so he could lead him.

"We've got a suspect in custody," someone said. "We're returning to the entrance of the facility to continue questioning. Suspect is a threat." The ground began to walk with Yuki and man taking the rear. With the grip that the man had on Yuki, he couldn't resist the movement.

"I'm not a threat! Let go of me!" Yuki cried. What should he do?

His mind flashed to a memory. It was one of the times he had fought back when a bully had held him. But what had he done. What the hell had he done? That was it. He elbowed the man in the gut with his free arm before kicking back on the man's shin.

The man grunted and through Yuki to the dirty ground, causing some of the dust to get into his eyes and quickly blurring his vision. "Suspect is resisting arrest," the man said. "We move to plan B."

Yuki looked up at the outline of the man, trying to figure out what's going on. "But I'm not-" There was a sound. What the hell is going on? He had heard a click and his blood instantly turned cold. The gun. He pulled out the gun. He crawled backward, his only line of defense at the moment. "Wait, please. Stop. I'll go with you."

There was another click and Yuki held an arm out in front of him, wincing his eyes shut with overwhelming fear.

Goodbye, cruel world.

"Stop!"

"Stop!" Kyoya called out

He was breathless, hunched over as he tried to settle his breathing. Haruhi was still beyond, one of her hands held out in front of her and reaching for Kyoya's back to steady herself. He hadn't the slightest clue of what had transpired or what he was looking at, except for the fact that a gun was being held toward Fall-san and… her hair was gone?

"Master Kyoya," the man said. He bowed his head, keeping his eyes on Yuki, and the other members of the brigade followed. "I have caught a suspicious person and-"

"I can attest for Fall-san here that there is nothing suspicious about her," Kyoya said. He straightened his posture, catching his breath long enough to speak with the employee. He stole a glance at the disheveled girl, his eyes taking note of the girl's shirt hair. "I will admit that there is something shady about the way she has been acting, as of late, and I will be questioning her about it. But there is nothing suspicious about her." He bowed his head forehead. "I apologize for my vague description of the situation. I also apologize for any way that Fall-san acted for you to apprehend her."

The man raised his hand, glancing between Yuki and Kyoya. "But Master Kyoya, are you sure?" he asked. "She was holding a small animal and it appeared like-"

Kyoya's lips pressed together as his eyes lingered on Yuki. She looked away, staring down at the ground. "My guess is that she was actually holding her wig. I assure you that everything is fine here, but my friend is still-"

"Takashi, I hear voices over there. Let's go!"

Kyoya smiled to himself, pushing his glasses up with two fingers. "Nevermind. It appears as if the situation has been solved. I thank you for your work."

The men, at this point, had gotten down onto their knees. "We surely thank you for your kindness, Master Kyoya. We're sorry for attacking your friend and we will accept any punishment that you give to us."

Kyoya shakes his head. "That will not be necessary. You may continue on your way."

"Yes, sir!"

Hunny, on top of Mori's shoulders, appears from the treelines with Tamaki held in Mori's arms. Hunny's eyes widened at the sight of Kyoya's police force. "Uh oh," he murmured. "I think I played a little too rough with your friends back there."

Yuki sat before Kyoya, his head hunched down and his hands gripping the gray swim shorts. After the force had left Kyoya had actually helped to lead Yuki back to the main pool, and Yuki couldn't believe that Glasses was actually being nice. Kyoya had helped Yuki to wrap about his head and checked out his ankle. It was… surprising, and it nerved Yuki.

And Yuki shouldn't had been surprised when Kyoya needed to have a talk with him.

The others had already left, much to Yuki's disdain. Especially when Kyoya told the twins to drive Haruhi home. Yuki now sat across from Kyoya, still on the deck of the pool. Yuki glanced at his wig on the glass table and then down to his lap. His hands played with the gray shorts that he was still in.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you the truth," Yuki whispered.

Kyoya leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. "How long did you think you could keep it hidden from me?"

"I…" Yuki's eyes crossed over with one another as he paused. "I don't really know. I was hoping that you wouldn't really find out, honestly."

Kyoya pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why did you feel the need to get a wig?" he asked. "What about the work that the twins' stylists did on you."

Yuki uncomfortably rubbed his leg with his foot, trying to think his way through this. "It was so bothersome!" he admitted. He bit his lower lip. "I don't really like long hair, and Ryoji suggested-"

"This was a suggestion by Haruhi's father?" Kyoya asked, raising an eyebrow. "Then it makes sense. The first day when you tried to get your costume on and had difficulties… was that because of your wig?"

Yuki nodded. "Mhmm," he hummed, licking his lip. "That's why I needed Haruhi's help. Because she knows about it."

"Alright, very well." Kyoya stood up from his chair. "I advise that you go and change, Fall-san. Even though tomorrow is Saturday, you'll be needing your uniform when school rolls around again. I will be outside, waiting for you in my limo."

Yuki watched as Kyoya walked away and glanced down again. He dodged a major bullet—almost literally—today. Luckily Kyoya only took notice of the wig even though the situation could have been much worst. He walked to the dressing room and quickly changed, folding the now dry clothes he was once wearing them and stuffing them into his bag. He would have to make sure to return these to the twins.

He stepped out of the changing area and easily found his way to the resort's entrance, finding Kyoya's limousine outside. The ride back to Yuki's apartment was silent and awkward. But Yuki didn't know what to say or do. Should he thank Kyoya from keeping the man from shooting him? Should he ask him what to do now? He wasn't sure. All he knew was that he was tired and that he couldn't wait to go home and go to sleep.

The limo stopped in front of the complex, and the two sat together in silence. Yuki snuck a glance at Kyoya and noticed that he was scrolling through his phone. A soft smile crossed his face. He shouldn't have been surprised.

"Well, I guess-"

"You will be getting a new wig, yes?" Kyoya asked. His eyes hadn't adverted from his phone. "Fujioka-san should be able to help you again. Tell them to send me the receipt."

Yuki stared in silence, his mouth slightly opened. "A-ah, okay!" he affirmed, nodding. "Thank you." He opened the door and turned to slide out but stopped when he felt something holding onto his wrist. He looked over his shoulder at Kyoya who had finally turned his attention away from his cell phone.

"Make sure you get some rest, Fall-san," Kyoya said. "We don't want our precious maid in any sort of pain." He let go of Yuki's wrist and set it on the seat. "If you start to feel any more pain, go to the hospital. There's a chance that you could have a small concussion."

Yuki felt his heart beat against his chest. Was this Kyoya's way of being nice and checking up on him? It was… unusual… But Yuki enjoyed the warm feeling in his chest. He smiled. "I'll be fine, Glasses. Thank you," he added. He slid out of the car. "See you on Monday."

He watched the limo drive off and rubbed the top of his head. Something must have been wrong with his own head. He wouldn't have thought that he would honestly mean a grateful gesture towards Kyoya. A yaw escaped his mouth. It didn't matter, really. It was time for him to get inside and go to sleep.

I worked on this instead of doing my numerous amounts of homework. So yeah... This was definitely worth it. Sadly, I will not be answering reviews down here. Starting after I post this, I will be replying to PMS about this story and using PMS to reply to reviews.

Thank you for sticking with this, everyone, and thank you for helping me figure out what to do. This is why you-yes, you!-are all the best.

Until next time,
