A/N: I know, I know, you are all probably really disappointed that you got another author's note from me, but I feel the need to inform you that after my Hiatus that I reread the story, and, truthfully, I feel as if I can do so much better than the product I have currently. I'm going to rewrite it in it's entirety under a new name, The Legacy of Shade (may or may not change that upon suggestion).
To answer a few questions before they are asked:
Yes, Harry is still going to be paired with his twin.
I'm still debating on keeping Jackal B. in the story, since he has his own tale now thanks to my rp partner and I.
Yes, Harry is still going to be born a squib.
I might switch out Eira and Will for two completely different characters.
The mystery that is the Shade Family and Harry's elemental powers will be explored more thoroughly.
Harry will be raised by either Asylum Shade, briefly mentioned, or another character of my choosing. Jackal B., if included, will be more of an older brother figure.
Now, before I get writing, I need some votes.
Should I keep Dumbledore as is, or make him...more antagonistic, per-say?
Should I do a few more chapters on Harry's life away from his parents? Maybe two or so.
Should I have Harry's parents give him up to the Dursley's thinking they are doing the right thing/keeping him safe from Death Eaters and the like?
Should I move the attack on the Potters back down to the normal timeline, or keep it at five like now?
