Zero starts his day waking exactly at 5:00am sharp , not even sparing sundays.
His room is unnaturally peaceful with Light blue color adoring his walls and minimal furniture. A bed , a wardrobe and a shelf which is used only for storing his weaponries and some stuff. Taking a whiff of the morning air he goes downstairs passing Yuuki's Room and out of the House through the main door.
He opens the mailbox and takes only a red colored envelope, sealed with a golden ink.
Obviously, a letter from the hunter association.
He reads the contents while passing Kaein in the kitchen fumbling with the coffee machine.
After getting dressed and taking his favourite Gun 'The Bloody Rose' he is off to work.
-Yuuki's Dream-
A Garden ?
Its good.
Lots of butterflies , sunshine , flower and happiness.
She sat down on the grass tingling her bare feet and feeling the sun over her closed eyes but the feeling was shortlived as a shadow crept over her and blocked her moment of happiness.
She opened her eyes slowly to see a little boy merely 10 year of age having chocolate brown hair and matching eyes looking down at her.
Although seeing him was a first for her but all she wanted was to hug him.
"Hey" was the simple thing that slipped out of her mouth almost out of instinct as she stood back up and was a good 7-8 inches above him.
"Why did you Left me ?" The boy said as he stared at Yuuki for good two minutes and then ran away.
"Hey! What ?" Yuuki also raced after him but he was faster, he quickly disappeared in the mist.
"little Boy ?" Yuuki said as she tried to find him but was stuck in the endless mist.
Zero stared at the dying body In front of him as he loaded his gun.
"So you still don't know where is your boss at ?" Zero said as he pointed his gun at the Mormo's head.
"I tell you or not, I'm gonna die either way. I choose the Latter." He said choking on his own blood.
"As you wish" Zero said as he unloaded all the silver bullets in the Mormo's Head.
He looked at his wristwatch which pointed at 8 , work was over early today.
-At Cross Residency-
Kaein was still in the kitchen making egg and bacon when Zero came in.
"Someone's early todayy" Kaien chirped as he washed his hands in the sink.
"And you are still wearing that yellow apron" he pointed at Kaein who was wearing a yellow apron with aa cutelittle pink bunny on it.. "Yuuki up yet ?" He again asked as he ran a hand through his dishevelled hair.
"Aw Don't be Mean Zero. Yuuki bought this for Me and its super pretty" he said as he twirled Around " -And no. My Princess is still sleeping"
Stupid.
Zero didn't bother replying him, he rather went towards Yuuki's room and knocked twice before entering. He looked at the small ball of pink on her bed and knew she was sleeping.
He was going to open the curtain , which was customary for him to do. Every Morning he would complete his work and wake her up. But today was different.
She woke up startled and sweaty.
"That's New" he said as he started towards her.
She didn't reply but looked at Zero baffled.
"what ? Am I looking extra hot Today ?"
"Noway you stupid head. I was just wondering"
"About ?"he said as he sat on the edge of her bed.
"Nothing" she said as he scratched her right arm's palm.
You are Lying. You always do that when you lie.
"Uh okay. So what's up with all that Bed hair ?" He asked totally straightfaced.
"Whattt ? Bed hair ? I don't have Bed hair" she said as she left her bed and stood in front of the full body mirror wearing a loose pink top and violet hotpants.
She ran a hand through her blonde locks.
He smirked at her reaction, and thought that all the Mormo's in the world wanted to find her and her biggest problem was whether her hair looked fine or not and lets not forget ,that to after waking up. But he liked this and he wanted to keep things this way.
"Come out when you are ready, i'm not gonna eat all that hideous food alone"
"Yea! Just give me 30 mins" she said as she slammed the bathroom's door behind her.
She ran the hot water, filling the bathtub slowly and giving off steam which condensed on the nearby mirror making it blurry.
The water was rising steadily, but Yuuki was thinking about her dream.
Who was that child ?
Why did I dreamt of him?
Why the hell he looked so familiar?
Engrossed In her own thoughts she didn't notice the overflowing water until it touched her toes , Goosebumps formed on her legs a she snapped out of her dreams and turned the tap off.
She slowly stripped off her clothes and got into her own little paradise of hot water, momentrily forgetting everything else.
"Master it's been 7 years we have been searching for the Taira descendant; I don't think she survived the Attack. Maybe she di-"
Before the man could complete his sentance he was slapped across his face.
"Enough! I don't want to hear your excuses. She is Alive, I know" he said with an evil smirk "She has to be"
"Yes Asato-sama we will continue our search" the man, a butler maybe, said before leaving.
"Taichi" Asato said.
As if on cue a Man having fiery red hair and matching eyes came out of the shadows.
"Did you find anything?" Ichiou asked while shuffling through papers.
"She's Alive but well hidden. I have sent many of our soldiers across the country giving them her scent but they can't find her. Also, a silver haired hunter imposes a threat, he kills every mormo he finds, mercilessly." Taichi reported almost robotically.
"Juuri. She cast a powerful spell to save her daughter. Ofcourse finding her will not be an easy task" Asato said with his eyes closed. "That hunter, does he have a name?"
"No sir, he is some top secret stuff. No one knows his identity, except the hunter association and as you know they are not so keen to help us"
" I understand " was all he replied before an evil smirk formed at the corner of his lips.
Another day without you Yuuki.
Today's the day I lost you 7 years ago. I know you are Alive. I know it in my heart.
I also know you will come back to me, its our destiny.
Kaname thought as he looked at the ring in his hands matching the ring he was wearing on his own.
Their stones had changed from being ruby colored to grey.
He was lying on his king sized bed at his bunglow in London.
There was a knock on the door.
"Kaname-sama , breakfast is ready" a feminine voice said from the other end.
He could sense her uneasiness , she was probably scared to come and disturb him. Today was the day no one dared to interrupt him except when meals were served.
"You can Leave" he said emotionlessly.
Without a word of protest she bowed and left.
" Seiren " kaname said almost inaudibly.
At that Instant a girl having light violet hair transported in front of him , kneeling.
"Yes Kaname-sama" she replied, hand on her heart.
"Cancel all my appointments for today, I need to be somewhere. And also inform Takuma that I have some buisness with him." He said still focused on the ring in his hand.
"Yes Kaname-sama" with that Seiren left.
For some outsider she would have appeared to be a ghost, she came and vanished in thin air.
"Yuuki eat your vegetables and don't forget to drink my special protein shake this morning, I made this just for you my dear daughter" kaein happily said as he took mothful of his own dish.
"Nooo~ ! I dont wanna drink that" she whined " it tastes horrible"
She said as she silently slid the glass towards Zero who was looking out the window.
"Don't even think about it" he said still looking out.
*Phone vibrates*
"That's mine" Yuuki said as she picked up her phone.
"Hi Yori" Yuuki said as she stuffed a burnt toast in her mouth.
"Yuuki ? Aren't you forgetting something" replied her best friend.
Well, that question always rang an alarm bell in her mind. She strained her mind to remember or figure what was she talking about.
"ummm..uh.. I.. What ?" Yuuki finally asked.
"Today you had to come to college at 10 and let me guess you forgot, right ? And maybe you also forgot that today we will get our assignments and maybe a job too" Yori said fiercely and almost sarcastically.
"Crap ! Totally forgot ! Okay Yori , I 'll be there in five minutes and Thankyouu! You are my saviour" Yuuki said as she was already on her way to her room.
She glanced up at the clock. 9:30
Wow ! Great!
She quickly arranged her hair into a ponytail, applied minimal makeup and took one last look at her dress. She wore a tight black denims with a full sleeved red sweater which had small black stars and to finish it, black boots.
She ran out gave a quick peck at cheek to his father , a smile towards Zero , took her car keys and was out of the door.
"I'll be back late today" she yelled before leaving.
Zero also got up and went to his room.
Kaein was happily smiling to himself , he loved her daughter's energy.
He stood up to clear the plates, that's when he looked at the empty glass and wondered when she drank that.
He smiled at happily.
You would have been so proud of her Juuri.
Yuuki was humming with the slow piece on the radio while she unconciouslly touched her throat.
She was thirsty.
Ofcourse, she had forgotten to take blood tablets. Again.
But, she also knew that Zero had put an emergency case of blood tablets in her bag , in case she forgot to take. Which was everyday!
She stopped at the signal, opened her bag and took 3 blood tablets. She swallowed them whole.
After her 18th birthday , her thirst or hunger for real blood had increased but she who she is never thought of taking it from some human. She was too kind to do that.
After what seemed like eternity she reached her college and practically ran all the way to her classroom.
She reached her class sharp 9:55, quite proud of herself and her driving skills.
She occupied the empty seat beside Yori and panted.
Yori gave her a thumbs up.
"Soo? What is the assignment about ?" Yuuki asked once she was evenly breathing again.
"Only ten students will be selected from each class. We will undergo through a mock test and interview and If we are selected than-" she gave her wink "that's where the fun part begins, we will be assigned to comapnies in different cities or even countires! Can you imagine? And if our performance is good we might even get a permanent Job!" Yori squealed
"Don't joke! Seriously? Wow!"
"We have to pass this Yuuki, London, Newyork, Paris and whatnot!"
"You bet! We will" she replied entusiastically.
*Bell Rings*
With that a tall woman with black hair entered their class and started distributing forms for the assignment.
Everyone filled theirs and waited in anticipation.
I wish I can go to London, Paris is good too but London Is London. I wanna go there.
Yuuki thought as she started daydreaming completely Forgetting the lecture.
Kaname was on his way to the one place he loved and hated. The place where he met Yuuki and the same place where he lost her.
The Taira Mansion.
The Mansion was still as beautiful as ever. A stranger would have thought that it was occupied but it was not, kaname took care of the Mansion like his own.
And this day every year he would come here and just remember the memories of his beloved Yuuki.
Her scent was still here, although faint but still here.
While he was remembering his love, he caught another scent , it didn't belonged to Yuuki or her parents, but he knew this scent, his eyes flashed red as a name rolled out of his mouth.
