Let me love you 10

Disclaimer: I don't own fairy tail.

Sting waited outside of Lucy room in the hospital.

He knew this was his safest bet instead of going into the lion's den that was FairyLand. He had spoken to Makarov Dreyar, explained the whole situation to him and Makarov had allowed him to see Lucy and his kids.

After waiting for what seemed eternity, Makarov came out, along with MiraJane Strauss, her brother, the famous Titania, Gray Fullbuster, Levy McGarden, Gajeel Redfox, and lastly, Lucy's new husband, Laxus Dreyar.

The latter gave Sting a glare, and said, "One tear comes out of her eyes and I will bust in there and kick you the hell out of her life."

Sting returned the glare and said, "I'm here because she kept my kids away from me. For all I care you can keep Lucy. All I want is my kids."

Before Laxus could tell him anything, Sting walked into the room, not ready for what he had in store.

Lucy had allowed Sting to come because after all, they were his kids. It had also heled that Master Makarov had told her how Sting had begged to see his kids. She was a little disappointed that he hadn't asked to see her, but she kept reminding herself that she was married to Laxus and she loved him very much.

Then again, Sting was Sting. He was the guy that she'd fallen in love with first. The love of her life, she had always called him. The father of her beautiful triplets.

After everyone left the room, Lucy had a moment alone with her babies and she looked at all of them. She still had to pick names for all of them she had a couple of names in mind but she had to discuss them with Laxus, and apparently Sting as well.

The sound of a door closing made her turn towards the sound and her breath caught.

There was Sting. His hair was messy, and he had bags under his eyes, as if he hadn't been sleeping well. He wore a white shirt that made his blonde hair look lighter and black sweatpants that went very well with the Nike black tennis shoes he wore. His mouth remained in a thin line but his eyes defied him.

His blue eyes were sparkling looking at her.

They were broken out their trance as one the boys cried. Lucy immediately reached for the crib where the sound came from and grabbed her son. She cradled him in n her arms and the baby stopped crying. Lucy laughed a little at how calmed her babies were except for this one. He had huge blue eyes with specks of green in it. He was looking at Lucy as if asking her something his eyes too big for such small baby. He was the last one to be born and well he was a surprise to everyone.

Lucy was caught off her thoughts as the bed dipped a little. Sting was sitting next to her, his eyes on the baby.

"What's his name?" he asked her reaching out to hold him.

"I haven't decided," she said smiling as Sting held their baby, "Would you like to brainstorm with me?"

"No."

"Sting, I-"

"Please Lucy, don't ruin this," he sighed as he looked at the tiny baby he was holding, who was drifting off to sleep, "I don't understand why you ran to Fairy Tail instead of with me. I've been going over it in my head ever since you disappeared. 'Why didn't she come to me?'"

"Sting it's nothing like that. Had I gone to you, my father would've gotten me back and-'' Lucy looked at Sting who was now putting down the baby and reaching for the baby girl.

"Lucy, I don't care about any of that, the only reason I came here was to see my kids. Also I want us to work out a way for me to see them. I may not be your husband but I am their father," Lucy's heart dropped when Sting said those words. A silent tear ran down her face.

That didn't go unnoticed by Sting, "Lucy, don't cry please. What do you wanna hear from me? That I'm still in love with you? That I am exhausted because I have spent every moment I can looking for you? That I turned into an alcoholic without you by my side?"

Lucy's mouth remained in a line, she looked at Sting and when he stopped cradling their baby girl he looked her in the eyes and Lucy could see all the sadness he had been holding.

"I love you more than what I love my own life, Lucy, but you're no longer mine. I have to accept the fact that you're in love with Laxus, that you're married to him," Sting sat down on the bed again looking at their first son, "however, this babies are mine as well, and I don't want to not be in their lives. I want to be a part of their lives and I want to do it the right way. So I have a few question for my legal team."

"Really Sting? We're going to do this right now? You haven't been with your kids for half an hour and you already want to resolve legal issues? What a great father you're gonna be" said the blonde woman sarcastically.

"You decided this for yourself Lucy. You've kept my kids from me for way too long," Sting's mouth was a hard line and Lucy saw not only sadness in his eyes, but betrayal and hurt were present now too. "I assume that they will have my last name?"

"Yes."

"Very well, how much money would you like for me to provide you with monthly?"

"None, my husband is the heir to Fairy Tail, you moron."

"100,000 jewels for every child, a month, and a trust fund for their college, sounds good?"

"Fuck off, Eucliffe."

"Don't cuss in front of our kids, Lucy," Sting smirked.

"Hmm, maybe if my babies didn't have a moron for a father I wouldn't cuss," she answered smirking back.

"That's my Lucy," said Sting smiling and inching closer to her, "Lucy? I may have names for our kids…"

"Well, what are they?" the blonde asked realizing that he was back to being the Sting she loved.

"Our daughter's name will be Layla, like your mom, the boys' now that's hard,"

Sting was interrupted by Lucy as she said, "Luke and Light."

"Hey, I like that. Good job, Heartfilia," Sting grabbed the little cribs and pushed them near them so they could grab their babies. He got Layla and Luke, while Lucy held Light.

"Uh, Luce, I don't want to sound like a bad father but how do you tell Luke and Light apart?"

Lucy laughed at Sting and said "Light has blue eyes like you and Luke has green eyes, Layla has them brown in case you're wondering."

"She is identical to you then?" Sting said kissing the top of Layla's head.

"I think so," she said turning to look at Sting only to find him closed than she had expected.

In the heat of the moment Lucy leaned forward and kissed Sting.

And at that exact moment, Laxus opened the door.
