I spent the Night patrol walking around the campus grounds, the day class students were too busy on deciding what they were going to wear than to come and stalk the night class. As the clock turned 3:00am, you could hear the night class students going back to their dorms.
"Himura-san" a deep voice said
"Kana…I mean Kuran-sama" I said as I bowed a little
"I have a delivery for you to make, could you come to the moon dorms with me?" he asked
"as you wish" I said
The night class students looked bored out of their minds, but became alert when Kuran was around and bowed at his direction. Soon, we reached his office and I brought out a box.
"What is this?" I asked
"…it is a dress" he answered as he handed me the box, I read the card on the box, it was addressed to Yuuki-chan. I looked up and raised my eyebrow in question.
"I have heard from the headmaster that she did not have a formal gown for the dance." He explained
That girl spends more money on food than clothes…thank god the pureblood got her covered.
"Will that be all Kuran-sama?" I asked
"Yes" I replied
I stood up and walked towards the door.
"oh and Himura-san?" he said
I turned back to him.
"Take care" he said in a gentle tone…the tone that he usually uses on Yuuki. Be calm my heart, or you'll let all of night class know that you have a lil' crush on the vampire king.
I stuttered out an"I will" and I scrambled out of the moon dorm, receiving a few confused glances.
I ran towards the sun dorms, and checked the time, 3:58 am, I might as well get some sleep as the ball is tomorrow evening and I can give Yuuki's dress then.
I stepped into the shower and let the warm water relax my muscles; I lathered on the soap and shampoo and rinsed it off. I guess, I'm slightly getting used to the night class. But I still have a long way to go.
I slipped on a t shirt and shorts and without bothering to dry my damp hair I went to sleep.

Big mistake
I woke up with my hair all over the place! It had dried during my slumber, but it was a proper bed-head. I sighed, I quickly brushed the hair and tied it into a bun, it'll do for now.
As today was the day of the ball, all students had a day off, so they can go get ready, our class however, needed to be in the ballroom to set up the décor, as we apparently had not finished the day before.
"Tomo-chan, are you going to wear a dress tonight?" Yuuki asked
"I still not sure, I mean the school uniform is more practical but I guess a dress is appropriate in a ball" I replied "what about you?"
"Oh no, I'll stick to the uniform, besides I don't have a decent dress anyways" she said
Let's see if she says the same thing once I give her the dress.
"Yori-san, are you dying to dance with one of the night-class boys?" I asked as I mockingly placed a hand on my heart and sighed in a love-sick manner.
Yori smiled and shook her hand "I think I'll stick to the day-class guys" she replied
"At last! Someone with a brain!" I joked
Yori just smiled and continued to lay the table cloth.
The day class girls looked ecstatic, all of them were talking about what they were going to wear and who they were going to dance with,
"So, Nadashiko-san who're you going to dance with? Yuuki's probably going to dance with Kuran-senpai, and Yori doesn't prefer the night-class" I explained making Yori roll her eyes and Yuuki blush
"W-well, i-I was going to ask…" she stopped
"You can tell us!" I smiled
"…Z-zero-kun" she said
Awwwww…
Yuuki smiled in that response and I could feel my face forming a grin,
"That's cute!" I said
"So, what about you Tomo-chan?" Yuuki asked
" W-what? Me?" well I did not expect that.
"Yep, day-class or night-class?" Nadashiko asked
"Mmmm…Chairman Cross" I replied with a dead straight face, this caused one of the best expressions I have EVER seen on Yuuki. I burst out laughing.
"N-nah! I'm kidding, I don't really care, if anyone offer's I'll happily oblige, unless if it's Aido, then I refuse" I replied truthfully this time.
Yuuki sighed in relief; it would be a bit weird if I had a crush on someone who calls me 'niece', I'm getting the shivers just thinking about it…
Time soon flew by and the decorations were finally done, I looked up at the clock tower, 4.00pm, prefect timing.
"Ah, Tomo-chan, we're going to go back to our dorms to start getting ready, who you like to come with us?" Yori asked
"Yes, but hang on a moment I need to go get my dress" I said
Yori nodded "Come as fast as you can"
"Roger!"
I placed the dress for yuuki inside a bag, and rummaged through my wardrobe, after rummaging through a mountain of clothing I finally found what I was looking for. I took out the box and grabbed Yuuki's dress, I should clear the mountain of clothes…later. I grabbed my heels and rushed out of the door.
"Yuuki, I have a delivery~" I said as I handed her the dress.
"What is this?" she asked as she peeked at the card attached to it, her face tinged pink. Awwwww, Yuuki's blushing. Yori peeked at the card and smiled was already in her dress, it was a light purple dress, she looked so pretty in it~
"Well why don't you go try it on?" said as I pushed her into the bathroom,
Soon she came out in a lilac Lolita type dress, she looked adorable in it
"How do I look?" she asked doing a little turn
"awesome"
"Lovely"
As you can see, Yori and I have VERY different personalities.
"now, Tomo-chan it's your turn!~ this'll be the first time I'll see you in a dress!" Yuuki said happily
I sighed "Yeah, yeah" and I walked into the bathroom.
I opened the box and picked up the maroon dress, I unzipped the back and put it on, the dress stopped just below my knees. The dress covered my neck with small frills, the dress was a long sleeved dress. This is the most decent dress I could find. The only dress, I have bought EVER- it cost a pretty penny too. It is saved for special occasions. The fastened on the small heels and brushed out my hair, the bun had made my hair into waves. I placed a ribbon head band and last but not least, the prefect band. I slipped it onto my right arm and walked out of the bathroom. Yuuki's jaw dropped and Yori was smiling back.
"What?" I asked
"You look AMAZING!" Yuuki said as she rushed towards me, engulfing me into a hug.
"Go easy yuuki," I said as I patted her head
"Let's get going" Yori said as she ushered us out of the room
"Zero!" I shouted from across the lawn, where the sliver haired boy and the principal of the academy stood.
"You girls look beautiful!" Headmaster cheered
"Yuuki, you must dance with your daddy tonight!" he exclaimed
"later" Yuuki sweat dropped
"YAHOO! I'LL SEE YOU LATER!" Headmaster said as he waved from the entrance
I waved back, I turned back to see Yuuki correcting Zero's tie scolding him about looking smart for a party, he was staring down at Yuuki,
"And to top it off~ a rose~" she said as she removed a rose from her hair and placed it on Zero's breast pocket.
"Well Zero, anything changed about me?" I asked giving him a little twirl
"…you've gained weight?" he asked
"Ouch Zero, you meanie~" I said lightly slapping him on the shoulder, mocking offence.
"I'm going in first, I'll catch you two later" I said and left the two.
I must admit, our class didn't do a bad job at all…classic music was playing in the background. And the girls were giggling and pointing at the night class members, the vampires…did NOT look happy to be there, Rima and Shiki were in the corner eating chocolate biscuits and Ruka was glaring at everyone. I guess they came here because of Kaname, the only two vampires who were actually interacting with the day class members were Aido and Takuma.
Aido was flirting with as much girls as possible, while Ichijou was currently dancing with a day class member. The party's quite nice…for now.
"Tomo chan~~~~" a blonde haired green eyed boy approached me.
"ah, Ichijou-sempai"
He bowed in front of me and held his hand out
"Shall we dance?" he asked
"My, aren't I popular, it hasn't even been five minutes I've been here and I've already been asked~" I replied "Of course" I placed my gloved hand onto his.
I must say the dance went better than I expected, I didn't step on his feet.
"It was lovely dancing with you" I curtsied and giggled
"Oh the pleasure is all mine" he replied with a chuckle and a bow and we departed
"Wow, Tomo-chan that was graceful" yuuki said
"Well, what can I say? I am like a swan" I said as I twirled, nearly tripping over my own feet
Yuuki stifled a giggled "of course"
My face tinged red with embarrassment. I walked to the drinks and poured myself a cup of orange juice. I took a few sips and observed the crowd. Yuuki was dancing with Takuma and Nadashiko was asking Zero for a dance? I got all excited and Zero ruined it for me, he shook his head in refusal…poor Nadashiko, she looked disappointed, she smiled sadly at Zero and walked off. The Jerk…
"Woah, Nadeshiko actually had the balls to ask Zero to dance" a voice behind me stated making me startled.
"Don't creep up to people like that Urehara-san" I sighed
"Not my fault you're not preceptive"
"Too bad though, Zero just rejected her flat, you should go comfort her. Offer her a dance, she is the one you've been Crus—mff!" He cut me off mid-sentence by covering my mouth with one hand and shushing me with another.
"How on earth did you even find out about that?!" He hissed at me, his face now matching his hair.
"your eyes barely leave her when she's around. And you sent glares that rival Zero's when she's around other guys" I explained prying his hand off my face
I spotted Nadeshiko on the other side of the floor and slapped Urehara on the back.
"Go get her" he responded with a nod, straightened his tie and walking towards the blonde.
I sent Zero a quick glare, which he replied with a shrug and walked out into the terrace, the moon shone brightly in the sky, a full moon the night breeze brought shivers up my spine, but the air was clean…kind of…The dark haired pureblood was there too, taking in the moonlight.
"Himura-san" he said as he turned around
"Ah, Kuran-sama, I didn't realise you were here" I said as I bowed, and was about to leave
"Himura-san wait" he said
I stopped "Yes, Kuran-sama?"
"Will you dance with me?" he asked with a smile on his face…it was a sincere, gentle smile…it made me have butterflies in my stomach.
I nodded and walked up to him, unable to speak due to the disarming smile. He took my hand and brought it up to his lips, if my hands were not covered by gloves my insides would be turning to mush. He then placed one of my hands on his shoulders and clasped my other hand with his, he placed his other hand on my waist. I was very sure that he could hear my heart beat, increase and by the slight twitch of the corner of his lips confirmed this.
Well, that's embarrassing.
I coughed lightly trying to hide my increase heart rate.
"Kuran-sama? We're not dancing to the beat"
"Ah, that's because I am not dancing to the beat"
…
I guess purebloods have their own way of doing things huh?
Not knowing how to respond to that, I just awkwardly nodded and continued to dance of the imaginary beat.

"D-dad?"
"Tomo-chan, I need you to stay here and do not move from here until *****-san comes back. Understand?"
"b-but wher-"
"please Tomo…just stay here and stay safe"
"o-ok"

I squeezed my eyes shut, what was that? And why does that feel so realistic? Like a memory?
"Tomoyo, are you alright?" He asked the grip on my waist tightening.
"I'm fine, I've taken too much of your time. Thank you for the dance" I replied letting of his hand and stepping back. Something's wrong and I need to figure out what.
"You can tell me" he encouraged in a soothing tone
"Nothing's wrong, Kuran-sama. I have to go" the dude could have some telepathic powers. Who knows where I'll be shipped off to if he finds out.
"Tomo-" he started as he grabbed my arm
"PLEASE JUST- I need to head back. Please, forgive my rudeness" I sighed as I walked back into the hall.
