Chapter 10

Curiosity

2 days later, at the field trip, Ichika, Charlotte, Laura, Rin, Ran, and Houki all sit at a table in a restaurant looking at Jordan and Cecilia putting arms over each other and talking and flirting. It lifted every one of their spirits. Ichika was happy to see two of his friends find love. All the others were happy that Cecilia was out of the way. "That's one rival down, 4 more to go." All the girls thought. They were asked to come over for no reason at all. Jordan and Cecilia were the only ones who knew.

-last night- "So, now that you're with me, who do you think should end up with Ichika?" Jordan asks Cecilia.

"Charlotte is a nice girl, so he would do very well with her. Houki is his good friend and is very loyal to him, plus she'd also push him to be a better, stronger person. Laura is going to end up with Dylan, we can all see that, isn't that right readers? I don't know much about Ran, and Rin is definitely an interesting girl, but is maybe too tsundere." Cecilia answers.

"Well then, why don't we leave them all with him one after the other. Then we'll see who is better for him." Jordan says.

"Sounds like a plan." Cecilia smiles.

-that day- "Yo! Ichika! Houki! Can you guys come over here?" Jordan says.

"Sure. What's going on?" Ichika replies.

"Just come with us." Cecilia says, winking at Houki.

"Ummm, okay." Houki says but then whispers in Cecilia's ears "Thank you." and nudges her shoulder.

"What are you planning on doing, Jordan?" Ichika nudges him.

"That would ruin the fun of all this, so why spoil it for you?" Jordan asked.

"It might. I guess it has something to do with me and the girls." Ichika replied.

They walk into a very fancy japanese restaurant and Ichika and Houki sit down. "Like our part time job?" Cecilia asks.

Cecilia says that, but her and Jordan both think quotes from a fluffy comedian in their mind, talking about the owner and staff. "You two would be amazed at how comfortable people get with you when you're doing something wrong. Even Jordan's mom pitched in and bribed the owners into letting this happen. Let's just say that everyone had a really fun time thinking about two awkward lovebirds.

Ichika looks around, mouth open. "Y-yeah…" He sits in awe.

"It's such a grand building…" Houki smiles, understanding what was going on.

"Yup, and you two will be having a little date together!" Jordan smiles.

"I'll be your waitress-" Cecilia started.

"And I'll be your chef!" Jordan finished, looking at Houki.

"So this is what your plan was? I don't mind this." Ichika says. "I'll have the teriyaki chicken then."

"Oh no, I'll be serving Houki."Jordan says "Ichika, you'll be eating Houki's food." Jordan and Cecilia say in unison.

Houki jumps up in her seat. "Okay, I'll do it."

Ichika stands up and grabs her arm. "You don't have to if you don't want to."

"But I want to." Houki smiles.

"Then go ahead, and thank you." Ichika says.

"You mean I love you, right Ichika?" Jordan implies.

"No!" He yells.

"Come on! I don't think you need some white-haired girl that died and can summon copies to make your choice. While that would make for an awesome fanfiction… Nah, it's already been done. And it was an awesome fanfiction." Jordan says, smiling.

Ichika rebounds, as if a secret was found out "Nope, no way I couldn't do anything like that. That's impossible, creating copies of myself…" Ichika laughs nervously.

"What did you just say Jordan? What exactly is going on here?" Cecilia says. Jordan smiles widely as the fourth wall screams.

"It's nothing." he smiles. "Alright, so, you two have fun, I'll get to making your dinner Houki, why don't you work on Ichika's dinner?"

"I'll get right to it!" Houki stands up and walks directly into the kitchen with Jordan.

"So, out of the girls, who do you like most?" Cecilia asked out of the blue.

"W-what?" Ichika rebounded.

"Out of Houki, Charlotte, Rin, Ran, and Laura, who do you like more?" Cecilia replies.

"Umm, I don't know exactly what you mean. They're all just my really good friends. I don't think any of them would fall for a dense idiot like me." Ichika says.

"First of all, I fell for you, and therefore people can fall for you. Second of all, you sure got the dense part right." Cecilia scoffs.

"Here it is! I've finished your dinner Ichika!" Houki says, smiling.

"Alright you two just stay here, we'll be at the other table right next to you guys. After this, Houki go back to the table, and send Charlotte over." Jordan smiles.

They both took quite a while and seemed to be stalling so that they could spend more time together, just as Jordan and Cecilia had predicted. They talked on and on after taking only one bite, and it took 3 hours for them to finish. In that time, Ichika almost kissed Houki, she fed Ichika using his spoon, they took grabs at the other persons food, fencing with each other until one finally took the other's piece of food. It wasn't awkward at all, they seemed to be a perfect couple. Unfortunately, they finished and Houki went back after three hours. Soon, Charlotte cam by an they were whisked away to a french restaurant. They did the same routine, Charlotte making Ichika a small meal, Jordan cooking for Charlotte, and then them just sitting down together, talking away. They were kind of awkward, saying utterly nothing at the beginning,just looking down. Ichika started up the conversation and they hit it off. At one point Charlotte even confessed, but Ichika was so dense that he couldn't hear her over his own thought of what was next.

Ichika finished up, but Charlotte still had some left and she finished quickly, Jordan telling her that after she should go get Rin. Soon, she left and, much to the amusement of the owners, with a reminder. "People who toy with a girls feelings should get kicked by a horse and die." She said, getting up from the table and going to tell Rin it was her turn. It was at this time they realized what was truly going on here, and they were not happy. They were being checked and measured to see their fit.

Despite what Charlotte thought, Jordan and Cecilia thought that her and Ichika's date went quite well. That last bit would be fixed later in the relationship, but Houki was still at the top, as usual for them. Then the same routine happened with Rin at a chinese restaurant and they ended their date prematurely when Rin confessed, Ichika didn't hear, and Rin punched him in the face with partial activation of her IS. They did pretty well beforehand, and almost kissed too, but Rin stopped to confess to him first, and so, he had to go to the clinic. That would also be fixed, and so Rin sits at a tie with Charlotte.

Chapter 10.5

Insanity

Cecilia and Jordan sit together whispering behind the door. They knew who had won the contest. At that point Chifuyu came around the corner and smiled, covering a laugh. Once she reached them she simply sai. "Houki?"

"Houki." They answered.

"Now you two get in the room, There's something urgent that you must listen to, but not today, once we get back." Chifuyu says.

"Alrighty then." Jordan smiles.

"All of you. Once we get back, meet at the waterfall. All of you need to be there. Am I clear?" She bellows.

"Yes, Orimura-sensei!" They all bow. Chifuyu turned around and left and then everyone left. Ichika wasn't hurt all that bad and the girls were just being overbearing. Everyone left and then the next day, everyone's life changed. The big game changer had come, in the shape of two bunny ears in the ground. Houk sat there, looking at them and was conflicted. Did she really want this? What would happen when she got it? How much was about to change? She'd soon find out, since Ichika had just come by.

"Houki?" He asks, walking up to her "Hey, isn't this…"

"I don't know Don't ask me." She interrupts, standing up and starting to walk away.

"Hey, are you sure you can leave it like this?" He says to her back.

At that point, Cecilia shows up. "What are you doing?"

Ichika closes his eyes "Just a little..." He goes up and pulls out the ears and a sound, kind of like fireworks, goes off. Suddenly, Ichika looks up and sees a falling object coming down at him and Cecilia at full speed. It hits the ground, sending a huge blast of wind in all directions, nearly sending Ichika flying. Then, out of nowhere, a laugh came from this carrot shaped object and it burst open.

"You fell for it Ikkun.V!V!" Says a hot pink haired woman that jumped up inside the carrot.

"I-It's been a while Tabane-san." Ichika says.

"Yup, yup. Long time no see." Tabane-san says, jumping out "It really has been awhile. By the way, Ikkun, where's Houki-chan?"

"E-Er…" Ichika stutters.

"No worries. I can find her easily with this Houki-chan radar. Bye, Ikkun. Catch you later!" Tabane interrupts.

Cecilia looks at Tabane "I-Ichika-san… Who was that person?" She says.

"Shinonono Tabane-san. Houki's older sister." He says, nonchalantly. Cecilia looks at him, surprised.

-Waterfall meeting- "Okay, so all those with personal units are here, right?" Chifuyu starts off.

"Hold on a second. Houki doesn't have a personal unit." Rin says.

"W-Well…" Houki stutters.

"I'll explain." Chifuyu says, walking towards Houki. "You see-"

"KYAAAAHOOOO!" Tabane screams, sliding down the cliff and jumping high into the air, then falling straight towards Chifuyu. "CHI-CHAN!" In the last few seconds, Chifuyu grabs Tabane's head, covering Tabane's eyes, and directs her in a semicircle so that Tabane's on the ground, trying to hug her. "Hey! Hey! I missed you, Chi-chan! Let's huggy-hug! Let's confirm our love!"

"You're annoying, Tabane." Chifuyu says coldly.

"Your iron claw's as merciless as always." Tabane says and then escapes Chifuyu's grip, running over to Houki. "Ta-da! Hi!"

"Greetings." Houki replies.

"It's been a while. How many years has it been since we met like this? You've grown so much, Houki-chan. Particularly your chest a-" She rambles on. Right then and there, before Tabane can say that last word, Houki hits her with her bokken.

"I'm going to hit you." She says.

"You said it after you hit me! Houki-chan's so mean! She's mean, isn't she Ikkun?"

Jordan smiles, happy that Taba-chan was able to make her appearance, but then something came up. He went to Cecilia, told her that he had to go check up on something, he looked at her with a smile, and then turned around. Once he turned around his face went dark from his hair covering his eyes in rage. "Let's finish this, brother!" He yells. "This was the last straw. WE ARE NOT CLONES! We are normal human beings! I will not allow your idiocy to pester me any longer. If I win, we leave this subject to die, never speaking of it again."

"We will finish this. But I will win, and you will accept that we are clones." Dylan replies with a smug look.

Hey guys, orionrage29 here! Dang it's been a while. Check my last chapter to see my explanation of why I was WAY too late on this. I'm so sorry for that, but I was seriously busy and I've had a lot going on. And sorry about my brother. He's full of himself and is a jerk. Plus a chipmunk.
